Catholics Flock to Missouri Church to See Body of Nun Who Shows No Sign of Decomposition Four Years After Her Death

Hundreds of people are flocking to the small town of Gower, Missouri, to see the body of a nun who died in 2019 and was recently exhumed, showing no visible signs of decomposition. The founder of the Benedictine Sisters of Mary, Queen of the Apostles, Sister Wilhelmina Lancaster’s body was being moved to its final resting place inside the monastery chapel.

According to the Catholic News Agency, the practice is a long-standing custom to place the remains of founders and foundresses under the altar of the church. Seemingly immune to the natural process of decay, the church calls them “incorruptible saints.” They say it is a sign of holiness and that the person lived a life so closely aligned with Christ that normal processes are delayed.

Florida Man in Cat Costume Arrested After Allegedly Stabbing Roommate

A Florida man wearing a cat costume was arrested after allegedly stabbing his roommate in the neck.

Police were called to a home in Gainesville on Tuesday after a man called 911 to report that he had been stabbed in the neck, the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office said.

The video showed police bodycam footage in which officers are seen at the doorway talking to the bleeding victim, instructing him to walk out of the house.

He eventually walks out with his arms raised, wearing what appears to be a grey and white onesie cat costume.

RFK Jr. Warns ‘Ugly Precedent’ Was Set With COVID Restrictions: No ‘Pandemic Exception’ to the Constitution

Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. warned that U.S. leaders have potentially set an “ugly precedent” that hearkens back to the Civil War when President Lincoln was judicially admonished for suspending habeas corpus.

Kennedy told “The Ingraham Angle” during a discussion on the potential for external forces to press for a globalized, restrictive response to the next pandemic, that the U.S. should stand up against such a possibility.

“Those efforts already being made. But I’m not as worried about the [World Health Organization] as I am about our own government, because we’ve now established a precedent in this country — they suspended the First Amendment: religion; freedom of association when they did the lockdowns,” he said.

“[They restricted] freedom of speech. They banned jury trials against vaccine companies — that’s [a violation of] the Seventh Amendment. They abolished property rights [which violates the] Fifth Amendment [when] they closed 3.3 million businesses with no due process, no just compensation, although there was no pandemic exception in the United States Constitution…”

Kennedy said that at no previous time in history was the Bill of Rights so collectively suspended as it had been during the coronavirus pandemic.

Ron DeSantis Rips Trump Over First Step Act, Vows to Repeal it: ‘Basically a Jailbreak Bill’

Republican presidential candidate and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis vowed Friday to seek a repeal of President Trump’s signature First Step Act, a bipartisan criminal justice reform bill that aimed to reduce recidivism, allowed a pathway for non-violent prisoners to shorten their sentences, and reduced mandatory minimum sentences.

“Under the Trump administration — he enacted a bill, basically a jailbreak bill, it’s called the First Step Act. It has allowed dangerous people out of prison who have now re-offended, and really, really hurt a number of people,” DeSantis said in an interview with the Daily Wire.

“So one of the things I would want to do as president is go to Congress and seek the repeal of the First Step Act. If you are in jail, you should serve your time. And the idea that they’re releasing people who have not been rehabilitated early, so that they can prey on people in our society is a huge, huge mistake,” he added.

Steve Bannon’s Court Date Set for May 2024 After NYC DA Alvin Bragg’s Leveled ‘Fraud’ Charges

On Thursday, a judge in New York set a date of May 27, 2024, to begin the trial of Steve Bannon for allegedly defrauding fundraising donors. Bannon pleaded not guilty to conspiracy, money laundering, and scheme to defraud after surrendering himself to New York State authorities in September.

Bannon is accused of defrauding donors who paid to build a wall at the southern border. According to CNN, Bannon allegedly diverted hundreds of thousands of dollars to his associates. Brain Kolfage and Andrew Badolato pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in April of 2022 in connection with the case.

According to the indictment, Bannon raised more than $25 million and promised donors that “100% of the funds raised… will be used in the execution of our mission and purpose.”

In September, Bannon accused DA Bragg of using the charges as a ploy to keep him from being involved in the Midterms. He claimed prosecutors “did the exact same thing in August 2020 to try to take me out of the election.”

“This is nothing more than a partisan political weaponization of the criminal justice system,” he said. “They will never shut me up, they’ll have to kill me first.”

Supreme Court Sides With Grandmother Who Lost Home, Equity Because of Back Taxes

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Thursday unanimously sided with a 94-year-old grandmother who lost her home to foreclosure and then lost the equity she had in the property when the county sold it and kept the profit.

A Minnesota County sold Geraldine Tyler’s condo for $40,000. Instead of returning the $25,000 difference between the sales price and what she owed in back taxes, the county pocketed the balance and used the extra money for forest development, county parks, and recreation programs.

In a unanimous opinion handed down less than a month after the justices heard arguments, Chief Justice John Roberts held that the Tyler had a plausible case that the county violated the Constitution’s takings clause.

“The taxpayer must render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s, but not more,” Roberts wrote.

Germany Denies Chancellor’s Criticism of Climate Protestors Incited Raids

A German government spokesperson on Friday rejected the notion that comments by Chancellor Olaf Scholz criticizing climate activists might have prompted raids against them this week.

Police on Wednesday searched more than a dozen properties across Germany linked to the group Last Generation, seizing assets as part of a probe into its finances. Prosecutors in Munich said they are investigating whether the group constitutes a criminal organization after its repeated road blockades and other protests drew numerous complaints from the public.

Days before the raids, Scholz said he thought it was “completely nutty to somehow stick yourself to a painting or on the street.”

Germany Jails Man for Supporting Russia

A Hamburg court has sentenced a local man to three years behind bars, finding him guilty of justifying “Russian aggression” against Ukraine and possessing an illegal weapon.

The 32-year-old defendant, identified only as Marcel J., ran a pro-Russian Telegram channel, with its logo and name based on the unregistered ultranationalist Russian Drugaya Rossiya (Other Russia) party, Die Welt reported, citing the indictment.

Apart from sharing “pro-Russian national-Bolshevik ideas,” the defendant openly branded Ukraine a “terrorist state” and used the ‘Z’ symbol — commonly associated with Moscow’s special military operation in the country — which had been partially banned in Germany. Moreover, Marcel J. was found in possession of an illegally large knife, deemed to be a bladed weapon.

His co-defendant, identified only as a 35-year-old man, was accused of being an accomplice but received only six months in jail. A court spokesman explained that the lengthy term for Marcel J. was largely due to his previous criminal record and, in particular, a recent conviction for assaulting a reporter at a public event in late 2021.

The man was convicted for the assault in April by a Berlin court and sentenced to two years and four months in prison. Now, the two convictions will be combined, as required by German law.

Major Medical Journal ‘The Lancet’ Shows COVID Lockdowns Had No Effect on Reducing Deaths

A new study published in The Lancet, a medical journal, has revealed that Covid-19 mandates such as lockdowns, mask mandates, and business closures, had no effect on the total number of deaths experienced as a result of the pandemic.

The study found that “Mandate propensity (a summary measure that captures a state’s use of physical distancing and mask mandates) was associated with a statistically significant and meaningfully large reduction in the cumulative infection rate, but not the cumulative death rate.”

No, Grazie: Italy Leads Revolt Against E.U. Drive for Electric Vehicles

Italy is leading the revolt against European Union plans to tighten emission limits and push drivers into electric vehicles (EVs) with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni vowing to defend automotive industry jobs.

Meloni’s coalition gained power last October and immediately tried to thwart E.U. efforts to ban the sale of new cars running on fossil fuels by 2035, which her predecessor Mario Draghi had supported.

Italy argued that the E.U. should not mandate a total switch to electric cars but should also allow the sale of vehicles running on biofuels as well as other traditional sources.

Polish Lawmakers Look to Investigate Russian Influence in Move Opponents Say Targets Ex-PM

Polish lawmakers on Friday approved a contentious draft law on Russia’s alleged influence in Poland that is targeting the opposition and may affect the outcome of fall parliamentary elections.

The new law would establish a state commission for investigating Russian influences in Poland. It is generally seen as targeting former Prime Minister Donald Tusk, now the main opposition Civic Coalition leader, at a time when early campaigning for the fall elections is underway.

The lower house, or Sejm, voted 234-219 with one abstention to approve the law proposed by the right-wing ruling party. It still needs approval from President Andrzej Duda to take effect. It was not clear whether Duda will approve it.

Polish TV Hosts Fined for Defaming ‘Gang of Aggressive Activists’ Who Accosted Them as They Left Work

The hosts of a TVP Info program, Rafal Ziemkiewicz and Magdalena Ogórek, have been ordered by a Polish court to each pay a fine of €2,220 (10,000 zloty) for defaming opposition activist Elzbieta Podlesna during a broadcast of the “W tyle wizji” program in February 2019.

The verdict, issued by the second instance court, is now final.

During the show, the hosts were commenting on Elzbieta Podlesna’s case. Serbia Sends Army to Kosovo Border as Protest Escalates

Serbia on Friday placed its army on high alert and ordered some units to move closer to the border with Kosovo after a small group of protesters and police clashed in a majority Serb town in northern Kosovo.

“An urgent movement (of troops) to the Kosovo border has been ordered,” Defense Minister Milos Vucevic said in a live TV broadcast. “It is clear that the terror against the Serb community in Kosovo is happening.”

Police used tear gas to disperse Serbs who gathered in front of municipal buildings in the Kosovan town of Zvecan, trying to prevent a newly elected ethnic Albanian mayor from entering his office, news agencies reported.

In various videos posted online, gunshots and shock bombs could be heard and several cars were set ablaze.

A Successful Counteroffensive Could Lead to Ukraine’s NATO Membership, Says Political Scientist Francis Fukuyama

Ukraine’s NATO membership will become a reality if Ukraine’s armed forces liberate the Russian-occupied parts of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions during the counteroffensive, American political scientist Francis Fukuyama said at a Kyiv conference.

“While we wait for the Ukrainian counteroffensive, we have to think how the war can end under the current conditions. Peace negotiations, a temporary ceasefire would be a very bad scenario, as it would leave Russia in control of Donbas. There’s an even deeper issue: as long as Vladimir Putin is in power, any ‘peace agreements’ will simply give Russia the opportunity to rearm its troops for a later resumption of the war,” Fukuyama said.

Lavrov Hails China’s “Balanced Position” on War as Ukraine Asked to Give Up Territory

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov hailed China’s “balanced position” on the conflict in Ukraine during a Friday meeting with Chinese special envoy Li Hui in Moscow.

China has thus far resisted Western pressure to condemn Moscow, but has instead tried to present a neutral stance while issuing occasional statements condemning NATO expansion and US global dominance. Beijing has also been among a handful of Asian countries to have greatly expanded Russian energy imports since the start of the war.

The Chinese envoy on Friday once again called for an immediate ceasefire, at a moment Russian forces are consolidating gains in Donetsk, particularly in Bakhmut where Wagner finally declared victory over the weekend following more than 200 days of fierce fighting.

According to The Wall Street Journal Li Hui conveyed a clear message that: “US allies in Europe should assert their autonomy and urge an immediate ceasefire, leaving Russia in possession of the parts [of Ukraine] …that it now occupies.”

US Expert: Russia Tactically Outperforms Ukraine

Russian troops currently have a tactical advantage over the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to U.S. Army Lt. Col. Daniel Davis, there has been a clear shift in fighting, which may indicate an improvement in the tactics of the RF Armed Forces.

In his material for the 1945 resource, the expert reported that after not very successful actions, the Russian side adjusted the continuation of the special operation and regrouped its forces. Thus, the RF Armed Forces focused on strengthening their positions. Ukraine, after the occupation of several large cities, lost a significant amount of weapons and soldiers.

Davis believes Kyiv must decide whether to launch the remaining troops on a counter-offensive or save them to repel a possible Russian attack.

At the same time, Washington should not assume the same obligation to supply arms to Ukraine and risk its security. European countries should make a greater contribution to help the Ukrainian armed forces.

The tide of the conflict is shifting towards Moscow, and ignoring these realities could expose Ukraine to even greater casualties and put our own security at risk in the future.

The lieutenant-colonel is sure of it.

    Microbiologist Sucharit Bhakdi acquitted

    https://swebbtube.se/w/2rJSivTydshgh9dQWrVDSe

    26/5-23

Accused of “anti-Semitism” and “trivializing the Holocaust”

    Sucharit Bakhdi,
who has had one of the most distinguished careers in his field, including a degree from the University of Copenhagen, was subjected to what can only be called lawfare in Germany a year ago.

He was accused of “anti-Semitism”, “incitement of the masses” and “trivialization of the Holocaust”, a malicious lie and construction that nevertheless allowed the German media to call him an anti-Semite for the past year. The accusation was baseless and should never have gone as far as a trial.

Bhakdi is known as one of the most prominent critics of mRNA vaccines and the corrupt WHO “pandemic”, which is of course why he has to be persecuted and terrorized.

Moreover, anti-Semitism is rightly considered one of the most effective weapons for destroying people. No matter how baseless the accusation is, most people would hate to suffer from it.

Catherine Austin Fitts and four others participate. One doctor tells how authorities around the Western world have intimidated doctors into following in their criminal footsteps and becoming complicit in the greatest crime against humanity the world has ever seen.

In addition to the trial of his upcoming autobiography, Bhakdi tells the story of his extraordinary life from Thailand to European universities, and details from this trial that should have delegitimized him, but was met with an honorable judge, which is no longer a given in Germany. Or in Denmark, Sweden.

It did not work. On the internet and outside the court, large crowds of people who have come to know Bhakdi as honor itself cheered.

The whole hour is a highly recommended listen. It is not short, but it is important.

    (quoted from snaphanen.dk)

The new study is published in the scientific journal Current Psychology.

The researchers describe left-wing extremists as people with “dark personalities” who use ideology as a tool for selfish purposes.

“According to this principle, individuals with dark personalities – such as strong narcissistic and psychopathic traits – are attracted to certain forms of political and social activism that they can use as a means to satisfy their own ego-focused needs instead of actually working for social justice and equality,” the researchers write.

In particular, some forms of activism provide psychopaths with “opportunities for positive self-presentation and displays of moral superiority, gaining social status, dominating others, and engaging in social conflict and aggression to satisfy their thrill-seeking needs”.

The study also shows that left-wing extremists often hardly live by their own teachings. The fight against “racism” and the like is often used as a cover for unruly behavior.

They can also satisfy their narcissistic tendencies by condemning others who do not share their “progressive values”, and dominate others by denying freedom of expression and violence to opponents.
