A 19-year-old white supremacist neo-Nazi named Sai Varshith Kandula crashed a rented U-Haul truck into a security barrier outside the White House, and was arrested by police. In other news, a homeless African migrant attacked a policeman with an iron bar in front of the Cathedral in Naples. The officer responded by shooting the culture-enricher, who is now in the hospital in a non-life-threatening condition.

Jamie Dimon Warns QT Will Lead to More Bank Failures

At the start of May we explained that it’s not just the Fed’s rate hikes that are behind the nascent regional bank crisis(because with Fed Funds rate at 5.25% and both T-Bills and money market funds offering similar yields, there is no way small banks can compete with these returns, prompting a bank jog (which periodically turns to a sprint) and deposit flight from both checking and saving accounts).

Kentucky Rep: FBI “Don’t Respect Anyone in Congress”

More Super-Rich Names Are Coming Up in Jeffrey Epstein Cases

As government attorneys unravel Jeffrey Epstein’s complex finances and sex trafficking ring, officials are training their focus on other high-wealth individuals with whom the disgraced financier may have done business.

One of the most closely watched cases comes from the U.S. Virgin Islands, where Epstein maintained a residence, as it pursues a lawsuit against JPMorgan Chase, Epstein’s bank of 15 years. The suit alleges that the institution profited from keeping Epstein on as a client and was complicit in funding his long history of abuse and child sex trafficking.

Deutsche Bank, where Epstein took much of his wealth after leaving JPMorgan in 2013, has already settled a similar case for $75 million. But legal observers say the claims against JPMorgan are far more sweeping than those against Deutsche Bank, covering a period when his trafficking operation was more robust and sophisticated.

Here are the figures surrounding the JPMorgan-Epstein case, and what you need to know about them.

St. Bernard Parish Changes Policy After Party Stabbing at Elementary School Gym

Trebrekiante Wickem, 27, was booked on May 15 with attempted second-degree murder and aggravated battery after a party ended in a knife fight in which three people were injured and ended up in two local hospitals. All three victims are recovering.

According to a police report, the May 7 party was being held inside the gymnasium at Joe Davies Elementary School in Meraux when violence broke out just after 1 a.m.

That’s where parish government comes in.

In an exclusive interview with WWL-TV, McGinnis explained that while the gym is on school grounds, it’s owned by the parish. The parish, in turn, allows its booster clubs to use the space outside of school hours.

While the clubs use the gym primarily for youth sports, they also rent out the venue for other money-making events. McGinnis said the adult party at the gym that sparked the knife attack has led him to change government policy on allowing such events.

The Myth of White Supremacy

by Daniel Greenfield

The largest mob lynching in the South was of Italians.

The 1891 lynching of 11 Italians in New Orleans, after a roundup of over 1,000 Italians, grew out of an internal conflict among Louisiana Democrats and was praised by progressives of the era.

“These sneaking and cowardly Sicilians, the descendants of bandits and assassins,” the New York Times editorial board railed. “Lynch law was the only course open to the people of New Orleans.”

Future Louisiana Gov. John M. Parker, who helped organize the lynchings, described Italians as “just a little worse than the Negro, being if anything filthier in habits, lawless, and treacherous.”

Columbus Day was created as a quasi-apology to Italian-Americans for the lynchings which held only until Democrat identity politics began tearing down statues of the Italian explorer.

The myth of white supremacy is a story retroactively invented during the civil rights movement…

David Johnston Advises Against Inquiry, But Aims to Hold Hearings on Foreign Interference

OTTAWA — Special rapporteur David Johnston says that a formal inquiry into foreign interference is not needed, but he will hold his own public hearings about the issue sometime this year.

The former governor general said an inquiry cannot be undertaken in public because of the sensitivity of the intelligence involved, and there would be considerable overlap with the work that he has already been doing to investigate the issue of alleged foreign meddling in the last two federal elections.

In order for his own public hearings to proceed, Johnston said he would not require the formal subpoena powers that a commissioner would receive if a formal inquiry was struck. The hearings could include testimony from diaspora communities, academics and political stakeholders.

“Canadians deserve forthright answers about the impact of foreign interference, and whether the government failed to act appropriately,” Johnston said during a news conference following the release of his initial report.

More Than 10,000 Squares Kilometres of Land Has Burned in Alberta Due to Wildfires

Tucker says that in 1984, there was a record of 13,000 square kilometres burned over the entire fire season, which usually lasts from the beginning of March to the end of October.

Scattered showers over the last week have given firefighters headway in battling the flames.

Newspaper Calls Trudeau a ‘Buffoon’ After Lecturing Italian PM

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, a self-described feminist, is being slammed for his “repugnant” behaviour after trying to “mansplain” democracy to Italian counterpart Giorgia Meloni.

Meloni seemed none too pleased Friday at the G7 summit in Hiroshima, Japan, when Trudeau told her before private, bilateral talks that “Canada is concerned about some of the positions Italy is taking in terms of LGBT rights.” He added that he was looking forward to speaking to her more about the issue and “other democratic principles that the world needs.”

The Italian leader fired back Sunday, saying she rejected Trudeau’s criticism and that the Liberal leader had fallen “victim” to “fake news.”

Italian media was quick to condemn Trudeau’s latest misstep on the world stage with the Milan-based Libero newspaper splashing a picture of the Grit prime minister on its front page in blackface with the headline, translated from Italian, saying, “This buffoon wants to teach us lessons.”

Leaked Document Shows the EU Countries That Want to Ban Private Messaging

A leaked European Council survey of the views on encryption of member countries showed that Spain strongly supports banning end-to-end encryption, a measure that has been proposed to combat the spread of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), but would end privacy for all citizens.

The proposed law would require tech platforms to scan encrypted communications, something tech experts have warned is not possible without breaking the encryption.

According to the document, which was obtained by Wired, Spain’s position in encryption is the most radical.

Like Trump in the US, Hungarian PM Orban is Europe’s Boogeyman, Claims Jordan Peterson

The European media establishment designated Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban as the bloc’s boogeyman because it was practical for them to do so, prominent Canadian academic and author Jordan B. Peterson has claimed.

In an interview with the Hungarian news outlet Mandiner, the former Ivy League professor was asked why he believes Orban receives such negative international press.

“Because it’s convenient for them. It’s always good to have something to constantly scare people with, to demonize somebody. Europe also needs a bogeyman like Donald Trump, and that is the role that Viktor Orban has been appointed to,” he said.

Netherlands: Thierry Baudet Loses Appeal for Comparing Unvaccinated People to Holocaust Victims

The Amsterdam Court of Appeals affirmed a ruling from December 2021 ordering the leader of Dutch far-right political party FvD to remove posts on social media that drew comparisons between the country’s coronavirus policy and the Holocaust. In ruling against Thierry Baudet, the Court said that the rights of Holocaust survivors and their relatives have precedence over freedom of expression.

The ruling concerns a case brought by four Jewish survivors of World War II, Jewish and Israel advocacy group CIDI, and the CJO, a Jewish lobbyist organization based in Amsterdam. The case was filed after Baudet published statements on social media in November 2021. He said, in one instance, that unvaccinated people “are the new Jews, those looking away are the new Nazis and NSB members.”

New Search for Madeleine McCann Centers on Reservoir in Portugal

Arade Dam, Portugal — Police renewed on Tuesday the search for Madeleine McCann, the British child who disappeared in Portugal in 2007, with officers digging and scraping the surface of land next to a dam located not far from where she went missing. About 20 officers with rakes and hoe-like tools spread out in a line and began poking and raking the soil close to the Arade dam, which is about 30 miles from Praia da Luz in southern Portugal, where the 3-year-old girl was last seen alive 16 years ago.

Earlier, a couple of firefighters could be seen in a dinghy on the reservoir.

There were no immediate details on what progress was being made in the search.

Pfizer, Moderna COVID Vaccines Associated With Severe Vaginal Bleeding in Women 45 and Up: Study

Women 45 and older who took Pfizer and Moderna mRNA COVID-19 vaccines have a notably higher risk of vaginal bleeding severe enough to prompt a medical visit after a booster, according to a new study.

The study included nearly 3 million diagnosed Swedish women ages 12-74 and was published in the British Medical Journal.

The increased risk of bleeding and “menstrual disturbance” was smaller for premenopausal women (ages 12-49) in the study, which excluded women with a “history of any menstruation or bleeding disorders” among other conditions.

About 88% of the women had at least one vaccine dose, and among those, 64% received a third dose.

WHO Warns Public Must Prepare for Disease ‘Even Deadlier’ Than COVID

The head of the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that the public must prepare for a new disease to emerge that is “even deadlier” than Covid.

According to Tedros, global governments cannot risk assuming that the threat of another public health crisis is “down the road,” insisting that the next “deadlier” virus is looming.

Despite the darkest days of the pandemic being behind us, Tedros also claims that a doomsday Covid variant with the power to send the world back to square one could still spawn.

Belgorod Attackers Pushed Back, Says Moscow

Russia says it has crushed one of the biggest cross-border incursions by pushing fighters back into Ukraine and killing dozens of attackers.

Ukraine denies Russia’s allegation that Kyiv was behind the Belgorod attacks.

Ukrainian military intelligence was quoted as saying two armed Russian opposition groups — the Freedom of Russia Legion and Russian Volunteer Corps, both consisting of Russian citizens — were responsible.

Confirmed: Militants Used American Armored Vehicles to Attack Inside Russia

Starting Monday, just following the large cross-border raid out of Ukraine on villages in Russia’s Belgorod, the United States began immediately distancing itself, with the State Department saying in a statement, “We have made very clear to the Ukrainians that we don’t enable or encourage attacks outside Ukrainians’ borders…”, while adding that it is “up to Ukraine to decide how they want to conduct their military operations.”

But the ‘sabotage’ attack, which Moscow called cross-border terrorism and which killed one civilian and injured at least twelve, appeared to involve American-supplied equipment, featured in a number of photographs. The gunmen, who wore tactical and military uniforms and drove large armored vehicles, may have held several areas of Russian territory for up to several hours, but by Tuesday the Kremlin announced its forces had wiped out the insurgents and destroyed their military hardware. The Kremlin further said it was a Ukrainian attempt to “divert attention” from Russia’s victory in Bakhmut.

German Investigators Find Nord Stream Evidence Points to Ukraine

Seven months after explosions severed three of Russia’s four Nord Stream gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea, German investigators are now pursuing leads that point to Ukraine as the responsible country. At the same time, a multinational consortium of European investigative journalists has also found leads pointing to Kiev.

A long-running Western propaganda campaign — abetted by media that’s credulous at best and complicit at worst — would have us believe Russia blew up pipelines that took the country 15 years of construction — and painstaking diplomacy to overcome U.S. interference — to bring to reality.

According to The Times of London, Germany’s Federal Office of Criminal Investigation (BKA) has investigated Russian naval movements that have been declared “suspicious,” but found nothing that suggests Moscow is responsible for the attack.

Rather, BKA investigators are now focusing on a yacht that sailed from the German port of Rostock weeks before the explosions. That 15-meter yacht — the Andromeda — was hired from a Polish company, and docked at a tiny Danish island near the blast site. Most strikingly, investigators found traces of “military-grade and underwater-deployable” explosives on the vessel.

Ukraine Won’t Say How Many Fighter Jets it’s Receiving From the West, But it Wants More

While he could not reveal the exact number of F-16 fighter planes Ukraine would be receiving from its Western allies, it would be well short of the number required for a full upgrade of its fleet.
