Volodymyr Zelensky to Receive the Coveted Charlemagne Prize

Global political events have recently morphed into the Theatre of the Absurd.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from JournalistenWatch. The translator’s comments are in square brackets:

That’s all that was needed: Charlemagne Prize for Zelensky

Volodymyr Zelensky is to receive the Charlemagne Prize in May. In the Coronation Hall of the Aachen City Hall. Probably no one there can remember where the Charlemagne Prize got its name from. A look at the Charlemagne situation.

by Max Erdinger

Who gave the Charlemagne Prize its name? Is it from Charles the coke maker? From Charles the comedian? From Charles the Unconscionable? Charles the aloof maybe? — No. The Charlemagne Prize takes its name from Charlemagne (748-814). That was quite a bustle. He managed to create a vast state entity for the first time since the fall of Western Rome. He defeated the Lombards, conquered the Avar Empire, secured the eastern borders of his vast empire against the Slavs and in the southwest against the Moors, and even Christianized the Saxons after a long war in 804. When he became king, his empire encompassed almost the entirety of today’s France and half of today’s German territory. When he died it had almost doubled its size and Charlemagne had been Emperor for fourteen years. From king to emperor. [An overly power-hungry, greedy, and religious genocidal maniac, in my eyes. That makes it the perfect prize for these power-hungry, greedy, ideological retarded genocidal maniacs.]

What does that have to do with Zelensky? — Exactly: nothing. Nothing at all. His empire is not expanding; it is shrinking. Also, he is not Christianizing anyone, he is de-Christianizing the Orthodox church in his developing country. He also has it bombed back to the Stone Age. In short: Zelensky is an absolute failure. If you really wanted to give the Charlemagne Prize to someone from their corner of the world, you should have chosen Vladimir Putin. At least he’s expanding properly, and overall he’s a more dignified person than the trained comedian from Kiev. Putin is clearly more emperor than the purchased pro-American king and dick pianist Zelensky. So they chose the wrong person in Aachen to give the Charlemagne Prize. Of course they wouldn’t contest that in Aachen. And in Berlin.

So what is this guy supposed to get the Charlemagne Prize for? — No idea. The Charlemagne Prize of the City of Aachen has been awarded since 1950 to personalities who have made a contribution to the unity of Europe. Personalities, not questionable figures. Unity of Europe? — Zelensky? — Nope.

The question of why the Original Chief-Ukrainer should receive the Charlemagne Prize is definitely easier to answer. The prize cannot defend itself against being awarded. It is not awarded to Zelensky because he deserves it, but because the awardees want to pretend that they have been on the right side for years. Or more pathetically: On the right side of history. But that is grossly wrong. They’re probably awarding the Charlemagne Prize to Zelensky because they have to act as if they couldn’t have known any better. It’s a kind of self-exculpation award ceremony along the lines of: We’ve all screwed up a lot, Zelensky most of all — and that’s why he gets the prize. It will probably be the last time that the city of Aachen honors someone with the Charlemagne Prize. Because: What decent person would allow himself to be decorated with it in the future, knowing that Zelensky has already received it? — Precisely. None. Bodo Ramelow [Minister-President of Thuringia] maybe. Or Annalena Baerbock [current Foreign Minister]. They don’t care what they are awarded with, the main thing is prize and press coverage. Everyone else would say: kiss my…

So far it is not certain whether Zelensky will even come to Germany in May. Because that collides with his date for the major Ukrainian offensive. He would not like to miss his victorious major offensive at home. It is said that they had collected masses of drones, his own. They then want to use them to expand their war into Russian territory. One will soon have to speak of “Zelensky’s war of aggression”. But the Russians will presumably be faster, so that not much will remain of the major Ukrainian offensive.

Ursula von der Leyen and Olaf “the Decent” Scholz are planned as eulogizers in Aachen. In Aachen, these are really important personalities, very different from Beijing and Washington. It’s a pity that in all likelihood Annalena Baerbock won’t give a speech. That would have been a nice gesture, since she herself had already received an award in Aachen. Only this year. The carnival order “Against Deadly Seriousness”.

The head of the Charlemagne Prize Directorate, Jürgen Linden: “We want the event to be understood primarily as an act of solidarity with Zelensky and the entire people of Ukraine”. That’s what it says in the Aachener Zeitung. This means that the Charlemagne Prize has recently been awarded out of solidarity with a corrupt person and out of solidarity with a people who allow themselves to be led to the slaughter by this and other corrupt people after having been cheated of the fruits of the natural wealth of their own country for years. The prize goes to a Zelensky, whose own troop of soldiers would now like to rip out his intestines. The award to Zelensky is given out of solidarity with a “Model Democrat”. Mockery and travesty…

[Cartoon: Zelensky, “Democracy is…”]

Of course, one would be wrong to assume that the office of the Nobel Peace Prize Committee in Oslo, at the same time as the award was being presented to Zelensky in Aachen, would release wanted posters with the likenesses of Boris Johnson, Liz Truss, Mateusz Morawiecki, Joe Biden, Lindsey Graham, Victoria Nuland and to other war planners and mongers of “Western values”. The war in Ukraine was planned and provoked long in advance in the “West of Values” — and the perpetrators are now meeting in Aachen for the award ceremony to Zelensky. This is roughly to be understood as the mafia’s kiss of death.

Who didn’t like this article at all? — The Zelensky.

Afterword from the translator:

The third stanza of the Lower Saxony song:

“Once on the blooming red heather thousands of men died.
For their loyalty with Lower Saxony’s they met with the Frankish Curse*.
Thousands of brothers fell at the hands of the hangman.
Many thousands of brothers for their Lower Saxony country…”

* means Charlemagne

(Anthem of Lower Saxony + English translation)

And already the planned Charlemagne Prize award to Zelensky makes a certain unintended sense, now, doesn’t it?

  1. Considering that Charlemagne’s Holy Roman Empire was neither holy, Roman, or an empire, giving a prize named after him to a clown puppet aka “The Cokehead of Kiev” with far less impressive achievements is quite in keeping with the spirit of the award.

The Duran covered this in a recent episode and their take on the matter was that the German government is getting nervous about all the chicanery and malarkey going on with Elenskiy’s cocaine-addled schemes to try and somehow directly involve the Poles in the conflict through merging what’s left of Ukraine with Poland or allowing them to take parts of western Ukraine in return for saving his bollocks from the Russian juggernaut. The award gag is just a plausible excuse to get Elenskiy’s nether region to Germany where they can interrogate him as to his intentions. Although what the Germans think they can possibly do about anything they don’t agree with is quite curious. At this point in the game they are so short of weapons and their military already as woke as the Murican Army after purging anyone with a thought to the right of Baerbock they could be defeated by a troop of Boy Scouts with some walking sticks.

    • Not Boy-scouts, more like bed-ridden Geriatrics with their bed-pans could do it, with their hands and feet tied to their beds.

  2. If one examines the “honor roll” of those who have received the Charlemagne Prize in recent years, it includes such modern-day political and cultural figures as Emmanual Macron, Pope Francis, Angela Merkel, Jean Claude Junker, and Tony Blair, just to name a few. A veritable who’s-who of globalists oligarchs and their colleagues.

This pattern makes perfect sense when you realize that the very first recipient of the prize way back in 1950 was Count Richard Coudenhove von Kalergi, who is today acknowledged as the founder of the European Union specifically and one of the fountainheads of globalism generally. Indeed, the Charlemagne Prize is also known as the Kalergi Prize in light of this fact.

President Zelensky has helped the West – especially the U.S. – launder billions through the Ukraine and then into various friendly pockets – including Democrat politicians and cronies back in the ‘States, amongst others, and of course into the coffers of the military-industrial-Congressional complex. He has also been rumored to have turned the parts of the Ukraine into a laboratory for digital commerce and currency and other globalist projects near-and-dear to their hearts. Why wouldn’t they give him a bauble in honor of being such a smashing success??

    • Georgiaboy61,

Wow, that’s quite the rogues gallery of geopolitical malefactors there. An august company in whose midst Zelensky certainly certainly belongs, to be sure.

As I began reading this article, the recipient of another dubiously awarded prize came to my mind; that recipient being, of course, Obama, and that award being, of all things in light of his subsequent doings, the Nobel Peace Prize. Later, he was seen to have observed that, it turned out that he was really good at killing people. The import and value of receiving a Nobel Peace Prize was ever afterward changed.

  3. He is getting the prize for a reason. Probably for being loyal to the Kalergi plan.

  4. There seems some bitterness here. Perhaps the author felt more deserving of the prize?

    • Anyone who gets that prize is a traitor to their country and to their people and should face the hangman’s noose.

  5. The author was only pointing out the truth ,this midge Eastern European gangster is getting a award that goes to people who have been destroy traditional western European civilization .I am wonder will old Soros get the award before he gets his dirt nap? Should we all be bitter(normal people who expect our elected officials to look out for our self interest )that we could be entering into world war 3 to defend this third rate actor a first rate gangster ?Billions going to defend what to keep one despot leader in power from another despot leader who could go nuclear ,what have we to lose? As Chinese leaders meet with past Charlemagne prize winner Emmanuel Macron Frances current leader ,he starts blaming America for the problems of the world ,and states Chinese government is not so bad tour. Will we have a two front war to bankroll soon one in the west another in the east ,how long before Americans boots are on the ground!

    • For what ? The award is for killing western civilization ,pray harder that they do not do this with their agenda .Is that a dodge in your pray hard picture dodges always look good in the 1960s but out of the big three muscle cars in the 1960s dodge went to pieces when pushed faster the fords or GM products.
