No Christianity Allowed!

A teacher at a public school in Italy got herself in a mess of trouble by having her pupils recite the Lord’s Prayer and the Hail Mary. You can tell Italy isn’t as far gone as the rest of Western Europe, because this estimable woman assumed that what she asked the children to do was normal and appropriate. Teachers in the UK or Germany wouldn’t even have considered such a career-ending move.

Now, Islam would be another matter entirely. Having students recite the shahada in England, for example, wouldn’t be frowned upon, and would probably gain official approval. But Christianity has been all but outlawed in much of the Western half of the continent.

Video transcript:

00:00   A primary school teacher from San Vero Milis (Oristano)
00:04   has been suspended for twenty days, and her salary has been curtailed as well.
00:08   What is she blamed for? She said the Lord’s prayer
00:11   and the Hail Mary with her pupils, at Christmas time.
00:14   The protagonist of this story is Marisa Francescangeli;
00:17   she is 58 years old.
00:20   “I expected everything, but not such a measure.”
00:23   I miss my pupils, I miss my job. I did nothing wrong.”
00:27   The mishap took place last December 22.
00:30   Mrs. Francescangeli was teaching in a classroom, replacing a colleague.
00:33   Since it was Christmas time, she gave the children the assignment
00:36   of creating a red bracelet, meant as a rosary.
00:39   Then she made them say the two prayers, to wish each other a happy holiday season.
00:43   “That seemed normal to me. There was nothing wrong with that, I thought.
00:46   In the classes I teach, all children attend the course of religious education.”
00:52   Apparently two mothers went to the headmaster to complain about what happened.
00:55   After that, the teacher was called to meet both the parents and the headmaster.
01:00   During the meeting she apologized, pointing out that at the beginning of the year,
01:04   she had asked the parents for permission to say prayers with her pupils,
01:08   and nobody had objected. That wasn’t enough.
01:11   Last March 2, headmaster Alessandro Cortese
01:15   and the Provincial Education Board notified her of the twenty-day suspension,
01:20   in addition to the reduction in salary.
01:23   The teacher, who hired a lawyer in the meantime,
01:26   won’t be readmitted into school until April 16.
01:29   Meanwhile, she asked for the access to the documents, to understand what she has been charged with.
01:33   “They blame me for making my pupils pray
01:36   and create a rosary, and they also claim I terrorized them,
01:39   at the time when, before Christmas time, I explained them how dangerous smoking is,
01:42   after some children had asked me questions about it.” The school’s headmaster,
01:46   Alessandro Cortese, after being asked about the events, replied with a straight “no comment”.
01:50   Many parents expressed their sympathy for Mrs. Francescangeli,
01:53   considering the punishment excessive and too harsh.
01:57   Meanwhile, the case has gone political, too.
02:00   Francesco Mura, deputy for the Brothers of Italy,
02:03   has tabled a Parliamentary Question to the Minister of Education.
02:07   According to Mura, the teacher’s suspension is absurd and abhorrent.

  1. The story doesn’t really add up. The motive is missing. The two parents that complained may be Muslims.

    • there are no muslims in this story, all children should be catholic. but 2 mothers (probably of progressive ideology) complained, because they do not want the school to do brain washing of their kids… (not with lgbt and adulterous propaganda on many differrnt fronts) . at least this is the news reporting.

i remember in my school (it was a state school) in the 90s came any type of people, from football players, to political activists, to speak, the only person who was not allowed because many parents protested, was the bishop. i think it is the same, so many retards are still obsessed if any kind of religious activity is done in a state school, but in reality they only oppose catholicism. even if most of this behaviour is based on cultural marxism (religion is the oppium of poor people) you should never forget the state of italy was founded and unified by taking away the legitimate vatican state.

      • In the UK the govt outlawed Christian schools limiting students to Christians only. In many Christian schools have large numbers of Muslim, Hindu & other non Christians who were attracted for the high quality education. I have read articles where parents of these non Christian students demand crosses and other religious symbols be covered.
