A No-Go Zone for Women in Porte de la Chapelle

The following video report from France is not current; it’s from 2016. However, it’s safe to assume that the situation in the culturally enriched Paris neighborhood of Porte de la Chapelle is no better than it was back then, and probably worse. Women in that neighborhood are well-advised not to venture out in public unless they are fully veiled and accompanied by an adult male relative.

One of the things I noticed in this report is that most of the people interviewed about the deteriorating situation in the neighborhood are “persons of color” — perhaps from a previous tranche of migrants, or children of earlier migrants.

Many thanks to HeHa for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes and RAIR Foundation for the subtitling:

Video transcript:

00:01   We return to talk about the topic, which is very controversial lately, with this question:
00:04   Is the Porte de la Chapelle quarter, in Paris, becoming a sort of no-go zone for women?
00:10   Anyway, some women avoid going for a walk on the street there,
00:13   after being insulted by some men because of wearing a skirt that is too short.
00:17   Nathalie Pérez went to the location. —Has the Porte de la Chapelle quarter,
00:21   in the middle of Paris, become a no-go zone for women?
00:24   We went there to meet them. According to some of the people who live here, the place is safe.
00:30   But a few meters away, in this beauty salon,
00:33   people’s feelings are definitely different. According to the manager,
00:36   the customer base has been reduced by half in the last year,
00:39   because of cases of harassment women have experienced on this street.
00:44   My staff usually crosses the street to go to the subway.
00:49   They can’t even go buy some stuff two minutes down the road,
00:53   without being insulted and being harassed.
00:56   That doesn’t scare me because I grew up in pretty difficult neighborhoods.
01:00   So that doesn’t frighten me. But some other people didn’t know this place.
01:03   When I brought some friends of mine here, who didn’t know the neighborhood,
01:06   they were staring all the time; they were really frightened by this neighborhood.
01:09   They were really scared. And so every time they call me, I accompany them here.
01:13   In this quarter of the 18th arrondissement, cases of street harassment
01:16   towards women have already been observed.
01:19   Since then, the police presence has been significantly reinforced.
01:24   The mayor acknowledges the situation, but refuses to speak of a no-go zone for women.

  1. Women voters have enabled mass migration falling for the “puir wee bairns” con and also stabbed themselves in the back for well paid jobs by supporting trans athletes, actors, models etc. Women are so stupid not supporting their own self interest. (i am a woman). Mayb e they should lose the vote.

    • I wouldn’t say only “maybe”. Certainly they should lose the vote! Along with the majority of men.

If this chronic wasting disease which has infected westen nations ever gets sorted out, repealing voting as a right should be implemented if we are to keep this from happening again.

In my opinion voting should be a privilege and a very difficult to achieve one at that. I am particularly partial to Heinlein’s model of restricting the vote to only those who have completed a term of military service or something similarly arduous and dangerous. By proving that you care enough for your republic enough to put your life on the line serving it and defending it you will have earned the right to be a leader, choose its leaders, and vote for whatever policies are required. And at that I wouldn’t much care about the gender of the individual exercising that privilege. The current system we have is an abomination; allowing every mouth breathing moron who has managed to survive to the age of 18 to exercise the use of violence against others through the ballot box is something that the Founders were rightfully against and were successful for a time in preventing.

      • And the progressives are agitating to make it even worse by reducing the voting age to 16.

      • Moon, Heinlein was right, only those with military service should be allowed to vote and be citizens, the rest are sheep and rabble to be directed because they are too stupid to be left to their own devices, especially since our re-education system dumbed these kids down to the least lowest common denominator. As for females? letting them vote was the dumbest idea of all dumb ideas. Our founders initially had land owners who could vote, because they have a vested interest, and you are right, the dumbest 18 year old without a clue who was given participation trophy’s for showing up because Darwin failed, is no reason to let vote for our demise.

  2. How about if you taught several years in an inner-city HS? Also putting your life on the line these days.

    • A better solution would be to start implementing Malaysia-style justice to deal with that kind of anti-social behavior.

Mandatory school uniforms, expelling violent troublemakers and putting them on chain gangs digging ditches or some other suitable menial hard labor, flogging for less severe dysfunction.

I’m philosophically opposed to public schools but if they are going to exist then by Bog there will be standards, no social promotion to the next grade for students who can’t pass, penalties including firing for teachers who cannot teach to lesson plan, and students who refuse to exert themselves academically being shunted into apprenticeships or training for menial jobs. I am enough of a unreformed “get off my lawn” type that I would even separate students by sex or even race to get the focus in schools back on education instead of how to get into your classmate’s pants.

Yes, teaching in an inner-city school is very hazardous but only because those who vote tolerate such nonsense and those who run the political parties want such dumb, easily manipulated constituents.

      • Heck with it, just put the military in charge of education, you have the added benefit of discipline back in the class room and by God they would learn, as for the African Orcs who the bottom of the Bell Curve does exist? They can learn physical jobs. Yes a separation of the sexes does work the best.
