It Really is a Landslide Victory

After the final tally came in for the recent Dutch elections, our Dutch correspondent H. Numan revised his analysis of the significance of the results.

It really is a landslide victory

by H. Numan

A few days ago I reported about the provincial elections in The Netherlands. A bit negative, because that’s usually the way things work out. Now we have more accurate results, I have to correct my earlier article. It truly is a landslide victory, and almost certainly the end of Rutte.

What made me change my opinion? The results. The senate has 75 seats. Parliament has 150. That means that the margin of error is double (or half, looking the other way). It appears BBB has won 17 seats, not 15. That changes everything. Just a two seat difference, but it’s enough.

Not only that, but the ‘inevitable victory’ initially claimed by the left proved to be a crack-pipe dream. We have a bunch of left-wing parties, all with a slightly different agenda catering for a different electorate. Two of them decided to form one faction in the Senate, Labor and GL (ex-)communists. Together they pulled 15 seats. The cooperation has gone down the drain already. Labor caters to lower-class voters, while the die-hard communists do likewise for the progressive elite. Labor lost a seat and the (ex-)commies gained one, which would give them the upper hand. That was a no-go for Labor, so they pulled the plug. What’s going to happen there, I have no idea. But poor socialists versus rich socialists is never a good idea anyway. At least Labor leaders admit openly they blundered here.

Likewise, Wopke Hoekstra, of the Christian Democrats, is repenting his sins as hard as he can. I hope he likes being in the history books. Being the chap who led the Christian Democrats to self-destruction. The biggest CDA victory was 54 seats. Right now, he’s lucky if they get 9. What would Jesus say? Nope, ain’t going to raise that sorry lot from the grave!

In the Dutch system any law passed by Parliament must also pass the Senate. That means that from now on, Mark Rutte is politically dead. At the very least he faces the worst crisis in his career. He just lost his majority in the Senate. His very close cooperation, one might call it blatant surrender, with the progressive demands from D66 didn’t gain him any friends. His usual defense is to pin the blame on someone else, giggle a lot and forget everything. “I have no such recollection” has been his often-used phrase for the last couple of years.

He is the longest ruling premier ever, definitely not the most beloved one. He was able to giggle his way around the opposition; not anymore. The opposition is now united. There are huge differences, but they clearly see that Rutte is limping on his last legs. All they have to do is kick away his crutch.

Now about BBB. The name stands for Boeren Burger Beweging or Farmer Citizen Movement. The leader is Mrs. Caroline van der Plas. Don’t be mistaken by her somewhat sloppy appearance. She’s not really a farmer, rather a career politician from upper middle-class stock. She started her career as a Christian Democrat, but left the party soon to set up BBB. In less than three years she achieved more than Wilders has in a decade. Though I have to say that without Wilders she wouldn’t be there. Her biggest problem now is to find reliable people to fill up the seats in the Senate. Every new party always gets a herd of wannabes and get-rich-quick types looking for opportunities.

What’s BBB going to do? So far, that looks pretty promising. New provincial parliamentarians will be instructed to strictly adhere to the letter of the Dublin Treaty. That’s fighting fire with fire! No more than 60 refugees per location, at most. Each and every case must be carefully investigated, before refugee status is granted. Oh, did you know that there are more refugee centers in The Netherlands than general hospitals? That’s a fact Wilders came up with a couple of days ago. He’s busy rubbing as much salt(peter) into the open wounds of the cabinet as he can.

The same instructions go for the nitrogen crisis. It goes a bit far to describe this crisis, but in a nutshell: it is intentionally very sloppy EU legislation ruthlessly enforced to ‘protect the environment’. In order to protect the environment, all nitrogen emissions must be reduced to insanely low levels. This way the commies (they call themselves progressives nowadays) thought they could take over the country without violence. Always with the excuse: “It’s not us, this comes from Brussels. Nothing we can do about it.” Just about anything emits nitrogen. Cows, humans, crops, cars, buildings, even roads — for crying out loud. Due to those nitrogen emission controls, farmers have to go — which is the reason for the rise of BBB. It also affects building projects for houses, roads, factories, anything.

Right after the election Caroline instructed that ONLY the required EU regulation be followed, and as strictly as possible. What do you think? All of a sudden most legislation can be withdrawn… The progressives start to panic. Their quiet revolution has been shattered. Lies in tatters. Mere days after BBB’s electoral victory. The new senators aren’t even sworn in yet.

That’s vital legislation on which there is no dissent among conservative parties. Both PVV and JA21 are in full agreement with BBB here. Forget Forum for Democracy (FVD). Baudet is so pro-Russian that you can see him as a electable replacement for Putin himself. Even Mussert, our own Vidkun Quisling, was less pro-Hitler than Baudet is pro-Putin. That’s why his party almost disappeared.

What will happen next?

Rutte will wriggle as much as he can — and he is the expert. However, he can wriggle all he wants, search for way out, but there ain’t one. He will have to resign and call for new elections. When, I don’t know. I assume pretty soon. Knowing Mark Rutte, he’ll delay as long as he can, hoping for something that might save him. That happened in the past. Remember the affair where the Turkish foreign minister illegally visited The Netherlands? He was able to save his cabinet by playing the tough guy. He extradited her. That was enough to save his political skin. He probably hopes for a similar miracle right now.

I’m afraid he has to practice his skills in walking on water or converting it into wine. As far as I know there was only one man who could do both.

  1. “Mark Rutte is politically dead”

    Ding-dong! The witch is dead.

The WEF mafia overplayed its hand with that Stalinist attempt to finish off Dutch farmers.

    • Unfortunately only politically.

And even then I wouldnt believe it until a woodchipper is employed.

I once heard a story about the revenge of an Italian.
He was so angry, he stole the dead body of his enemy, put it into his latrine and told nobody.
It was discovered only when his latrine was replaced by a toilet connected to the municipal sewers and they had to clean the latrine.

  2. Thank you for the local analysis. Wilders clearly recognises Islam as the ultimate threat. How do the BBB see it?

    • I am starting to believe that islamization isn’t the ultimate threat that we in the west face. It’s a means to an end perhaps, and is a threat but behind islam and islamization of europe is the globalist elite reptilians who are the true ultimate threat. Get rid of them and islamization of the west would lose its support and could be decisively dealt with by local populations.

      • I agree with you in that the “leaders of the west” see Islam as a means to an end – which is to detonate an explosive mixture of westerners and “islamic extremists” one day. It will only take shortage of bread and circuses, IMHO, and the whole thing will go BOOOOM.

Though on the other hand – I believe that the “globalist reptilian elite” made a miscalculation about Islam – and that is – Islam knows how to go BOOOOOM. They have proven their civilisation conquering qualities over and over again throughout the history. And when the whole thing go BOOOOM, I fully expect the reptilian globalist “humanist” elite to lose their grip on power to a low skilled, brutish horde who knows how to conduct a brutal “uprising”.

Locusts have no king but like one man they go for their goal – said King Solomon.

  3. Mr Baudet (FvD) is not pro-Putin. He is defending the truth.
The truth is that after the Kiev NATO/EU-led color revolution in 2014, the new regime started to wipe out Russian culture in the eastern oblasts. Some even use the term “genocide”. That is the real reason for Russia’s SMO and denazification. These facts are suppressed in Western media.
To compare Mr. Baudet to Mussert (a traitor who was executed after WW2) is outrageous.

    • Even if he were pro-Putin is that a bad thing?

I can think of very little that he’s done or been alleged to have done that is not ultimately for the best interests of the Russian Federation. If he has benefitted financially from his time running the country I can overlook that. His virtues outweigh his flaws and Russia and the CIS countries are far better off from his leadership than from some toady like Yeltsin.

      • No, it’s a very good thing. If you’re a Russian, that is. Like it or hate it, in Russia Putin is hugely popular. With good reason: he is restoring Russia to its former glory. If I were Russian, I would love him!

However, we are not Russian. We are on Putin’s smelly end of the stick. And that changes the perspective considerably.

    • I rather suspect that this is the continuation of the farrago surrounding the shoot-down of the Malaysian airliner at work here. The Deep State got the jump with their black propaganda, got the Netherlanders to open wide and swallow, and then good luck getting them to demand a genuine investigation. That Calvinist stubbornness, once in high dudgeon, all too often can work against the needed restraint in forming a final judgment. Things like the recordings of the Kiev air traffic controllers somehow just got “lost”? Pull the other one.

When exactly have the Western intelligence agencies ever hesitated to instigate or to cover up atrocities that they adjudge to serve their “interests”? Ably assisted by die lügende Presse, let it be remembered, addressing a sedulously propagandized public, which makes it ever so much easier, no?

    • I’m so sorry to disagree. The same argument was used by both the NSB and the Nasjonal Samling. Not to mention any other party in existence. Every party defends the truth as they see it.

That’s actually irrelevant. What matters is how the electorate sees a party. Your point of view is your democratic right. As long as you stay within the law, you can think you defend the truth. The the electorate has the same right – and they think FVD is ready for a mental asylum.

That’s why your party is disappearing. Same thing happend with the NSB and the Nasjonal Samling. Initially they had some succes, but very soon they almost disappeared. Because the electorate lost confidence in it completely.

It’s not just the quisling attitude of Baudet. People openly joke when is he going to marry his aunt? (Anton Mussert married his aunt, and Thierry Baudet is a handsome bachelor.) No, he’s far beyond that level. No conspiracy is too weird for him.

The “some” you refer to is the ICC, supported by 127 countries. Some, indeed!

      • Who the bloody hell cares about some jumped up do gooders and their so called un-elected court?

      • Thank you, Numan, for the good news. I hope it keeps coming. 🙂 I would love an article on Dutch agriculture, as it is at this time. If you might be so inclined.
