Credit Suisse Chairman Points to “Social Media Storm” as One of the Reasons for Its Collapse
The chairman of the global investment bank Credit Suisse claimed that a “social media storm” was partially responsible for the company’s recent woes that culminated in it being taken over by the multinational investment bank UBS at a heavy discount.
“Who is responsible for this disaster?” a reporter asked Credit Suisse Chairman Axel Lehmann during a recent press conference.
Lehmann responded by pointing to several factors, including social media.
“Last autumn we had a social media storm and this had huge repercussions,” Lehmann said. “More in the retail sector than in the wholesale sector. And too much becomes too much and that’s when we reach this point.”

Inflation Soars in Sweden as Increase in Food Prices Unmatched in 70 Years
Butter, dairy products, coffee, cheese, eggs and pasta are quickly becoming luxury items. Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson said she would call Sweden’s food retail giants to the table to discuss the figures, which are the highest in 70 years, according to Hungarian newspaper Magyar Nemzet. She wants to discuss how to bring prices down while ensuring that producers and retailers do not unnecessarily raise the price of individual products.
In Sweden, the food trade is dominated by a few large supermarket chains, which the competition authority says is driving up prices unnecessarily. The rate of price increases is significantly higher than in neighboring Nordic countries. In this context, the Competition Office recently told Swedish public television that it was not entirely clear why and that the Competition Authority was investigating possible unjustified price hikes.

Armed Cop Sees Thug Pull Gun on Walmart Employee, Sends Him Running for His Life
A criminal’s petty shoplifting attempt almost cost him his life after his thuggery was thwarted by unbelievably bad timing.
The suspect was spotted trying to exit an Arizona Walmart with stolen goods.

Biden Signs COVID Declassification Bill, Hints at Withholding Some Information
President Biden on Monday signed a bill directing the federal government to declassify intelligence about the origins of COVID-19.
The bipartisan legislation allows the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to declassify intelligence related to China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology. The cites potential inks to research at the facility and the outbreak.
“My Administration will continue to review all classified information relating to COVID—19’s origins, including potential links to the Wuhan Institute of Virology,” Biden said in a statement. “In implementing this legislation, my Administration will declassify and share as much of that information as possible, consistent with my constitutional authority to protect against the disclosure of information that would harm national security.”

Biden Signs Measure to Block D.C. Criminal Reforms
On Monday, President Joe Biden signed into law a congressional override of changes to the Washington, D.C., criminal code that would have relaxed penalties for violent crimes.
The Senate voted 81-14 in favor of the plan earlier this month after Biden indicated he would not veto any congressional override. The GOP-led House in February passed the block by a 250-173 margin.
Perceived by many as soft-on-crime, the D.C. City Council plan would have cut maximum sentences for criminal offenses and eliminated most mandatory sentences altogether. D.C. Democratic Mayor Muriel Bowser vetoed the proposed changes, but was overruled by the City Council.

Federal Judge Delivers Blow to Biden’s Climate Agenda: ‘Destructive Federal Overreach’
A federal judge blocked the Biden administration from implementing environmental regulations redefining how water sources are protected, but which opponents have argued were an example of overreach.
In his decision published late Sunday, Judge Jeffrey Brown ruled that the so-called Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule announced by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in late December “poses irreparable harm” to residents of Texas and Idaho, the two states that challenged the regulations in the lawsuit filed on Jan. 18. Brown declined to issue a nationwide injunction, but noted 25 other states have challenged the rule in two separate ongoing lawsuits.
While I continue to battle the rule in court, this preliminary injunction is a major blow to the Biden Administration’s radical environmental agenda,” Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said in a statement Monday. “The unlawful rule would have saddled Texans across the state with crushing new regulations, slowing our state’s economic development and limiting our job growth.

GOP Looks to Rescue Gas Stoves From Biden’s ‘Extreme’ Ban
Two Republicans on the House Energy & Commerce Committee are making a push stop the Biden administration from banning gas stoves with legislation that has support from the committee chairman and could get a vote on the House floor this year.
The bills from Reps. Kelly Armstrong, R-N.D., and Debbie Lesko, R-Ariz., are a response to the two-pronged effort seen by the Biden administration to ban gas stoves this year.
In January, a member of the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) said a ban on gas stoves was “on the table” because of the health risks they pose to consumers. The CPSC backed down after public outrage and ridicule, but soon after, the Department of Energy proposed an energy-efficiency regulation that officials acknowledge is so stringent that 96% of the gas stoves currently in use today wouldn’t make the cut.

GOP Moves to Block Biden’s Pistol Brace Rule: ‘Abuse of Rule-Making Authority’
EXCLUSIVE: House Republicans this week will take a step toward blocking the Biden administration’s new rule that tightens regulations on pistol stabilizing braces, and call the rule an “abuse” of federal authority.
The rule, called Factoring Criteria for Firearms with Attached Stabilizing Braces, took effect on Jan. 31 after it was finalized by the Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco and Explosives (ATF). It will treat any firearms with stabilizing accessories as short-barreled rifles, which require a federal license to own under the National Firearms Act.
According to Republicans, the rule would require gun owners to either register pistols with stabilizing braces with the ATF, turn over those firearms, or face 10 years in jail and up to $10,000 in fines.

Lawyer Moves to Vacate Conviction of Jan 6 Prisoner Jacob Chansley
The lawyer for imprisoned Jan. 6 protester Jacob Chansely is moving to vacate his client’s 41-month sentence.
Chansely, dubbed the “QAnon Shaman” by the media, was smeared as a “violent insurrectionist” and sentenced to almost four years in prison on politically motivated charges.
However, new information has emerged that proves Chansley was peacefully protesting at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Videos revealed that Chansely was also encouraging other protesters to remain peaceful, directly contradicting the media’s smears.
Bill Shipley, the lawyer representing Chansley, has now started the process of requesting the court to vacate Chansley’s 41-month sentence next week.

Man Who Attacked Girlfriend Stabbed by Neighbor: Police
CANTON, Ohio (WJW) — A Canton man is dead after he allegedly got into a fight with his girlfriend and then attacked a neighbor who stabbed him several times.
According to police, officers were called to the 1100 block of Walnut Avenue NE on Friday, March 17, at about 10:30 p.m. When they arrived they found Spencer Price, 36, had been stabbed in his face, neck and chest.
Police say Price, who was unresponsive on the steps of the apartment building, was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
At the scene, police also say they found a female victim who had serious injuries to her face and head, including several teeth that were knocked out.
The female victim told police that Price was her boyfriend and that they were involved in a fight. The woman claims that after Price assaulted her, he tried to attack the neighbor and was stabbed by the neighbor.
The investigation is still ongoing. Police say the information will be presented to the Stark County Prosecutor’s Office.

Penn State wrestler Aaron Brooks won his third consecutive individual NCAA title on Saturday after beating Northern Iowa’s Parker Keckeisen 72 in the 184-pound finals.
Brooks’ win helped Penn State finish with 137.5 points to clinch its 10th team title since Cael Sanderson took over in the 2009-2010 season. Brooks also has three Big Ten titles on his resume and only finished runner-up in the conference in 2022.

Far-left Democratic New York Attorney General Letitia James has filed an appeal against a ruling by the state Supreme Court preventing the state government from forcing people into quarantine and isolation if they were exposed or infected with a contagious communicable disease, according to multiple reports.
New York’s Rule 2.13, or “Isolation and Quarantine Procedures,” was originally adopted in Feb. 2022, and enabled New York’s commissioner of health to direct local health authorities to issue “isolation and/or quarantine orders” to “all such persons as the State Commissioner of Health shall determine appropriate” in order to control the potential spread of a “highly contagious communicable disease.”
It also allowed any such isolation to be at home, “or such other residential or temporary housing location” determined appropriate by the commissioner.

Spring Flour: Flour Explosion From Bakery Fells Point Covers Residents’ Homes
BALTIMORE — Spring arrived Monday, but Baltimore residents woke up Sunday to a different kind of flour.
Homes along Bethel Street in Fells Point were covered in baking flour following an explosion at the H&S Bakery.
Residents told WJZ they reached out to the bakery when the flour explosion happened.
No one from the bakery came to clean it up until Monday morning.

Bedford High School to Reopen Tuesday After 2 Staff Members Were Stabbed
Staff ‘injured following an altercation with a student,’ education officials say
Charles P. Allen will reopen to students Tuesday afternoon after three people were injured in a stabbing at the Bedford, N.S., high school Monday morning.
In an email to families on Monday evening, the Halifax Regional Centre for Education said two staff members were injured “following an altercation with a student.”
The email said classes will resume for students at 12:45 p.m. and will follow a mini-day schedule.
“School psychologists, school social workers and school counsellors will be available at the school over the coming days to provide individual and small group supports to students who would like to connect with them,” the email said.
“We know from past experiences and the advice of experts that returning to the routine of school is in the best interest of our students. It provides a safe space for students to access supports related to their emotional well-being and their academic achievement.”

Children’s Medicine Finally Available in Alberta Pharmacies
The Alberta government has secured another 750,000 bottles of off-brand children’s medication that is available in pharmacies across the province beginning Monday.

Man Arrested for Arson After ‘Deliberate’ Forest Glade House Explosion
Windsor police say they have arrested a 24-year-old Toronto man after a “deliberate” house explosion in Forest Glade.
Officers were called to a residence in the 10,000 block of Aspen Lane following a report of an active fire shortly after 4 a.m. on Sunday.
Forest glade resident Patrick Paulet says the noise woke him up and he’s never seen or heard anything like it,in the 30 years he’s lived in the neighbourhood.
“I could see over the roofs the fumes, from the explosion, not really the flames, but the sky was red at that time,” said Paulet.

Millions of Canadians Without Access to Family Doctor
New research suggests that 6.5 million Canadians don’t have a family physician — a number that rose by 2 million during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Results from the OurCare national survey estimate that more than one in five Canadian adults don’t have a family physician or nurse practitioner.
The survey was conducted between September and October 2022 and includes more than 9,000 responses from across the country.

New Bill C-18 Motion is Designed to Bash Opposition, Say Critics
A Canadian business advocacy group is asking parliament to trash a Bill C-18 motion that would expose communications between private Canadians and tech giants.
The Canadian Chamber of Commerce, which represents more than 200,000 businesses, wrote a protest letter to the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage. The letter said an upcoming motion — seeking to compel Meta and Google to release private communications with Canadians — is undemocratic.
“The motion, which was disclosed only last Thursday by the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Canadian Heritage, poses a serious threat to the privacy of Canadians and to their rights to hold and express opinions on public issues,” the statement said.

Poilievre Promises to Sue Big Pharma for $44 Billion Over Opioid Crisis
Conservative Party of Canada leader Pierre Poilievre promised Tuesday to sue the big pharma companies for $44 billion if he becomes prime minister. The Official Opposition leader says that’s what big pharma owes Canadians for facilitating an opioid epidemic that stretches across Canada and the United States.
Poilievre says that’s what the pharmaceutical companies owe Canadians in health care costs resulting from addiction and “misery.” The Conservative leader also pledged to become a plaintiff in a current class action suit against big pharma that British Columbia has filed that is seeking $4 billion in damages.
A Conservative government would seek “a separate federal lawsuit to go after non-health costs, like border security, prisons, Indigenous programming, etc.”

Young People Most Likely to be Pessimistic About Canada
Young Canadians are the most likely to say they’re the least satisfied with the state of Canada, according to a new national survey.
Nanos Research found that people under the age of 35 offered the poorest score when it comes to rating their satisfaction with Canada.
Canadians were asked to rate their satisfaction from a range of one to ten with ten being very satisfied. The mean score for the entire country was 6.6. In 2023, only 64% of Canadians said they were satisfied with Canada, while in 2021 that number was 74%.
For young people, the mean score dropped to 5.8.

As Macron Goes Full Dictator, Will the EU Condemn France’s Slide From Democracy? Don’t Count on it
After French President Emmanuel Macron’s surprise move to ram through his unpopular pension reform scheme without a single vote, the move will have long-lasting implications for France and its entire system of democracy. It also raises the question: How will the EU react to this in-your-face authoritarian move?
Both the optics and the practical reality of Macron’s decision to raise the retirement age from 62 to 64 by decree are disastrous, and they represent not just a loss of legitimacy for Macron but likely also for Brussels. Macron, however, knows the EU will make no move to condemn his country, slap him with sanctions, or call out the “democratic deficit” in France despite his naked display of power. In fact, the EU’s technocratic elites are privately cheering on pension reform, a move they have enforced in a wide array of southern countries in exchange for bailouts in the past.
It is also true that Macron technically has the power, according to the constitution, to bypass parliament, but it ultimately raises questions about whether France can even be called a democracy to begin with, especially when it relates to an agenda that the French public are passionately opposed to.
In fact, the polling around the issue makes Macron’s move all the more shocking.
Between 72 percent and 75 percent of the country was opposed to pension reform. Not only that, the French clearly want more, not less, democratic input when it comes to pension reform, with 75 percent saying they want a referendum on the issue. A whopping 78 percent are against Macron using Article 49.3 of the constitution to unilaterally push through pension reform.

First Arab Street Sign Appears in Germany
Germany’s first Arabic-language street sign has appeared in the city of Düsseldorf, and Islamic associations and the Green Party are praising the new development.
“Bilingual street signs are also a symbolic expression of social inclusion. They show that people identify with their district and the diversity of their district,” the city’s Green Party wrote in a statement.

French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday survived Parliament’s no-confidence vote, triggered after he pushed through an unpopular pension-reform plan.
The plan would raise the retirement age from 62 to 64 and require more years of work before employees are eligible for full retirement.
Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne was interrupted by protesters in France’s assembly chamber Thursday when she invoked an article in the country’s constitution to pass the plan without a parliamentary vote, The New York Times reported.

France Pension Reform: Macron’s Government Survives No-Confidence Vote
The French government has narrowly survived a vote of no-confidence, which was triggered when it forced through an increase in the pension age to 64.
It sparked new anti-government protests in Paris, where 101 people were arrested after stand-offs with police.
The vote, tabled by centrist MPs, had 278 votes in favour, falling short of the 287 votes needed.
Had it been successful, President Emmanuel Macron would have had to name a new government or call new elections.
A second no-confidence motion, tabled by Marine Le Pen’s far-right National Rally party, also did not pass.
Now both votes have failed, the controversial bill to raise the retirement age from 62 to 64 will become law.

Germany Vows to Arrest Putin for War Crimes if He Enters Territory
The German government has vowed to execute the International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant against Vladimir Putin and arrest the Russian president for alleged war crimes in Ukraine if he ever enters Germany’s territory.
As Slay News reported, the Hague-based ICC issued the warrant late last week, accusing Putin of human rights abuses during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
German Justice Minister Marco Bushman stipulated that the Russian leader will be detained if he steps foot in Germany.

Netherlands: BBB Up to 17 Seats in Senate, Coalition Down to 22
The farmers’ party BBB will get 17 seats in the Senate, making it by far the largest. Previous provisional prognoses by the ANP Election Service previously had Caroline van der Plas’s party at 16 seats. But after almost all the votes have been counted, the newcomer and big winner of the Provincial Council elections gets an extra seat.
The D66 will drop to 5 seats instead of the previously estimated 6, the ANP Election Service reported in its new forecast. That brings the coalition of VVD (10), D66 (5), CDA (5), and ChristenUnie (2) to 22 seats, ten fewer than the government parties now have. The Senate has 75 seats, so 38 are needed for a majority. The Rutte IV coalition already didn’t have that majority, but it will now have to gather more support from the opposition to get policy through the Eerste Kamer.

Poland’s Donald Tusk Plays Footsie With Separatists Over Silesia
Donald Tusk, the leader of the largest opposition party, the liberal Civic Platform (PO), visited the Polish state of Silesia this weekend. At a public meeting in the city of Bytom, he declared that he was in favor of making Silesian, a regional Slavic language, an official language as a mark of respect for the people who use it. The recognition of Silesian as a language rather than a dialect is a long-standing demand of the Silesian Autonomy Movement (RAS).
The RAS has in the past managed to get members elected to the provincial council in the region of Silesia. The movement calls for the region to be given autonomy from the rest of Poland. Its representatives on the provincial council have in the past formed a coalition with Tusk’s PO. After the provincial elections in 2018, Poland’s ruling conservatives managed to secure a majority on the provincial council, only to lose it recently as a result of the defection of the regional mayor and other council members to the opposition.
Tusk himself is from a Kashubian background. The Kashubians are a small regional minority living in the Baltic region, and their language is recognized in Poland. During the second world war, Kashubians were conscripted to serve in the German army, and one of those conscripted was Donald Tusk’s grandfather, Franciszek Tusk.

Poland May End Up ‘Joining’ Ukraine Conflict — Diplomat
Poland may end up “joining” the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine should the latter fail to protect its “independence,” the Polish ambassador to France, Jan Emeryk Rosciszewski, has said. The senior diplomat made the remarks on Saturday while speaking live to the broadcaster LCI.
Rosciszewski squarely blamed the hostilities, which have been ongoing for over a year already, on Moscow, stating that it was “not NATO, not Poland, not France and not Slovakia” that was ramping up international tensions, but Russia. According to the diplomat, the situation now is “either Ukraine will successfully defend its independence, or we will be forced, in any case, to join this conflict.”

Data from Eurostat shows that Polish exports to Russia fell sharply in the first half of 2022, only to begin to rise again in the second half of the year. In the fourth quarter of 2022, Poland exported €1.2 billion worth of goods to Russia. Although this represented a fall of 44 percent over 2021, it was a marked improvement on the second and third quarters of the year, according to Polish news outlet Forsal.
After initially falling to €300 million in March and €200 million in April, exports to Russia are recovering and are now regularly above €300 million per month.

Iran’s morality police have arrested five teenage girls for dancing to a Selena Gomez’s song on TikTok without wearing headscarves. The Islamic republic has strict rules about wearing headscarves as well as strict rules against dancing and other forms of public entertainment for women.
The short video features the five teenagers in Western clothing dancing to “Calm Down,” which features Gomez and Nigerian afrobeat singer Rema. It was recorded in Ekbatan, western Tehran and posted on March 8, International Women’s Day.

China Leader Xi Jinping Arrives in Russia for Meeting With Russia President Vladimir Putin
Chinese President Xi Jinping landed in Russia on Monday for a three-day visit in which he will meet with Russia President Vladimir Putin.
Xi landed shortly before 1 p.m. local time in Moscow, according to state media outlet TASS. The Chinese leader is expected to remain in Russia until Wednesday in his first international trip this year.
The Kremlin officially says Putin and Xi are expected to discuss the “further development of comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation between Russia and China” and will sign a “number of important bilateral documents.”
However, the meeting, and whatever else that will likely be discussed, has major geopolitic relevance.

Did Putin Snub Xi? What to Know About Airport Greeting
Vladimir Putin raised eyebrows on Monday after observers noticed his absence from Vnukovo International Airport, where Chinese President Xi Jinping landed ahead of his meeting with the Russian president.
Instead of being greeted by his Russian counterpart, Xi was met by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernychenko as he stepped off his Boeing 747 for this week’s closely watched visit to Moscow. Chernychenkoi, one of Russia’s 10 deputy prime ministers, oversees tourism, sport, culture and communications.

Russia, Ukraine Extend Agreement on Black Sea Grain Exports But Differ on Length of Agreement
Russia and Ukraine have agreed to extend an agreement allowing grain exports from the Black Sea, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Saturday. According to the Ukrainian side, the agreement has been extended by 120 days, while the Russians say it has been extended by 60 days.
“Following our negotiations with both sides, we have managed to reach an extension of the agreement, which was due to expire on March 19,” the Turkish president said at an inauguration ceremony in Canakkale, Turkey.

Letter Bomb Explodes at Ecuador TV Station, Other Media Get Envelopes
Quito (AFP) — Two letter bombs were sent to TV stations in violence-plagued Ecuador on Monday, one of which exploded without causing casualties as other media also received suspect envelopes, officials and media reported.
A bomb sent to journalist Lenin Artieda exploded at his workplace in the port city of Guayaquil, the Ecuavisa private network said on its website.
Artieda received an envelope containing a pen drive which exploded when he inserted it into a computer.

Algerian Woman Stabs Her French Host to Death, 3rd Such Murder in Months
France has been hit with another case of a foreigner killing their host, this time with an Algerian woman being accused of stabbing her French host to death on March 18 in a town outside Paris.
It marks what appears to be a worrying trend. Just last month, Remix News reported that an Albanian was accused of killing his French host after they became involved in an argument about religion. The suspect reportedly sent photos of the victim’s naked body to a neighbor in the building over Snapchat.

France: Illegal Migrants Break Elderly Woman’s Nose During Brutal Robbery
A female retiree suffered serious facial injuries when she was beaten and robbed by a pair of illegal migrants from Africa who claimed to be underage last week in France, according to reports.
The disturbing incident unfolded on Tuesday in Amiens, a city in the Somme department.
A 67-year-old woman was on her way to do some grocery shopping when she was approached by two young men.
The suspects asked her for a cigarette, a common tactic used by migrants to distract or engage their victims.
When the woman declined, they jumped on her and grabbed her purse.

New police data released by the Berlin Senate shows that approximately 300 rapes involving more than one perpetrator were recorded in Germany’s capital since 2020, and more than half were committed by foreigners.
The data was provided by Berlin’s government after a request for information from Alternative for Germany MP Marc Vallendar.
The data shows that for 2020, there were 98 rapes involving more than one perpetrator, 106 in 2021, and 89 in 2022. The data also shows there has been a dramatic increase in recent years, with only 38 such cases recorded in 2018.
Of the 302 suspects that were identified, more than half do not have German citizenship. Germany does not keep data on the racial or ethnic background of suspects, so it is unclear how many of the German citizens arrested for this crime are ethnic Germans.

A private company that helps find hotels for asylum seekers has seen its profits treble to more than £6million.
Calder Conferences, which is based in Leeds, received £20.6m from the Home Office in 2021, increasing to £97m in 2022, official documents showed.
Turnover for the year ending February 2022 rose from £5.98m to £23.66m and pre-tax profits trebled to £6.3m.

As Poland continues to struggle with migrants flowing into the country, the biggest traffickers appear to be Ukrainians and Georgians, who are often smuggling other nationalities into the country.
According to data supplied to the Kresy.pl portal by the border authority, legal migration of Ukrainians and Georgians is stimulating illegal migration. In 2022, foreign nationals were assisting illegal crossings by migrants in 90 percent of cases. De-transitioned teenager Layla Jane is suing Permanente Medical Group and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, the medical providers who performed a double mastectomy on her when she was just 13 years old after beginning to identify as transgender two years before.
Now 18 years old, Jane is accusing the hospital system of “intentional fraud and concealment” involving her gender transition, alleging the doctors pushed her into the procedure and characterized her gender transition as the only way to treat her preexisting mental health problems.
“I don’t think I should’ve been allowed to change my sex before I was legally able to have sex,” Jane told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham last Thursday. “I don’t think I’m better off for the experience, and I think transitioning just completely added fuel to the fire that was my preexisting conditions.”

RINO Adam Kinzinger Busted Spreading Hoax That Charlie Kirk Called for Trans ‘Lynchings’
Trans activists lied about remarks made by Charlie Kirk in an effort to smear him, and disgraced former Republican congressman Adam Kinzinger picked up the claim for his own. The assertion, however, was entirely false, and the newspaper that reprinted it, The Sacramento Bee, had to retract it.
Kinzinger didn’t care that it was false, and he likely didn’t even watch the clip himself. Instead, he simply repeated the allegations of a trans activist who has repeatedly called for violence against non-believers and obfuscates legislation that protects the rights of women and children as anti-trans.

Ugandan President Blasts Western Countries for Promoting LGBT in Africa
Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has blasted western countries for promoting LGBT issues in Africa, accusing them of “wasting the time of humanity.”
The president of the East African country made the remarks during a parliamentary address before lawmakers prepared to vote on a bill related to the same matter.
The bill would impose harsher penalties for those found to be promoting LGBT activist causes in a country where homosexuality is already illegal.
Uganda has been threatened with sanctions if it continues to refuse to implement western-style protections for LGBT, but Museveni has rejected attempts to influence his country, framing it as a form of cultural hegemony.

UN Calls for Mass Fossil Fuel Shutdowns to Prevent ‘Climate Time Bomb’
The United Nations (U.N.) published its latest climate change report Monday, which doubled down on global warming-related risks and which the intergovernmental organization dubbed a “survival guide for humanity.”
The synthesis report, assembled by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), represents the U.N.’s latest attempt to sound the alarm on the risks posed by climate change and not taking aggressive actions to halt global warming. According to the document, “unsustainable energy and land use” has caused the world to warm 1.1 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, close to the 1.5-degree emergency threshold.

MORE SWEDISH NONSENSE

When the government proposes a “Sweden course” for “new arrivals”, it almost sounds like a joke. But it is serious, and clearly shows that the government is not ready for any worthwhile paradigm shift.
When the new government took office last October, we were promised a “paradigm shift”. So far there has been little of it, except for an even more restricted freedom of expression and changes to the constitution that threaten freedom of association. Instead, mass immigration has continued at a furious pace.
Now the government, backed by the Sweden Democrats, is introducing a compulsory social studies course for “new arrivals”. It is called the Sweden course and, according to Minister for Employment and Integration Johan Pehrson (Lib.) this course is “crucial for integration”.
The compulsory course ends with a test, and if you fail the test, you have to take the test again until you pass it. Then you are kind of Swedish according to the government, and integration comes like a letter in the mail (i.e. less and less often and mostly only in the form of unwanted bills).
Pehrson is enthusiastic and confidently proclaims:
“Welcome to Sweden, here are the rules, let’s go!”
It all sounds like something out of a sketch, but it’s seriously the clearest we’ve seen of the “paradigm shift” so far. People continue to bang their heads against the wall in the belief that more “information” for “new arrivals” would somehow lead to millions of non-Swedes suddenly integrating into Swedish society.
At the same time, more and more people have realized that integration is a dead-end project. There are simply far too many people who have been coming here for far too long. Many areas in Sweden are now completely or partially desensitized, and when people are given a choice, they understandably choose to settle close to their fellow countrymen.
Social Democrat Widar Andersson is one of those who have realized this, writing in Corren (18/3):
“Immigrants seek out immigrants while the Swedes of the majority population seek out more Swedish areas if the proportion of immigrants becomes too high. Those who want to can sit in their chambers and wish that we behaved differently. But wishful thinking about fundamental social problems is not to be recommended.”
Integration is a theoretical paper product created by an establishment out of touch with reality. The longer they continue to insist on burning up our resources on the altar of integration, the longer it will take before a serious paradigm shift is implemented.
The fact that the Sweden Democrats, who sit in the Riksdag on an anti-immigration and pro-Swedish mandate, allow this to happen is bad. It is time for them to put their foot down seriously and demand a stop to the integration drive, otherwise they will quickly become as irrelevant for Sweden lovers as the Center Party is now for Swedish farmers.
A “Sweden course” might not be necessarily bad. For example it might teach not to rape women or not to murder with a knife while shouting “Allahu Akbar”.
You’re assuming a sub-saharan Epsilon-minus semi-moron is capable of learning through western methods.
A more realistic training program if having such semi-morons in one’s country was considered desirable would involve something akin to training vicious dogs. Perhaps a stimuli such as a Swedish female could be shown followed by a vicious beating, and repeated numerous times until the orc recoiled from the sight of the woman for fear of the beating.
Personally I don’t think the effort is worth it, as there is no perceivable benefit to having such savages in one’s country and Swedish women deserve whatever comes from their presence since it was with their votes and continued support that such orcs continue to be imported and their predations allowed to go unpunished.
The only way you can teach an orc is by the boot and lash, for it is the only way they learn.
