Hungary: High Inflation in January

Hungarian inflation was 26.2 percent in January, two and a half times higher than the EU average, 24.hu news portal reports, citing data from the European Union’s statistical office (Eurostat).

According to the article, while Hungarian inflation was comparable to that of the Baltic states in 2022, the trend changed in October last year. While Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania managed to reverse the trend, the situation in Hungary has not improved.

According to 24.hu, Hungary’s inflation was also high in January compared to other EU countries in the region.

“Climate Change Cult at it Again”: Apple Users Frustrated With ‘Green Charging’

A silly feature introduced with iOS 16.1 called “Clean Energy Charging” has upset some iPhone users as their devices will only charge when lower carbon-emission electricity on the grid is available.

Some iPhone users reported when iOS 16.1 was installed — their devices were automatically selected for Clean Energy Charging. Charging when the grid is ‘green’ has its disadvantages for the user experience, who might incur slower charge times.

2 Men Killed in Second Minnesota Shooting Outside a Funeral

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Two men were killed and three other people were injured in a second shooting outside a funeral in St. Paul, Minnesota, this weekend.

The St. Paul Police Department said all five people were shot in a parking lot shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday during an altercation after a celebration-of-life event. One man died at the scene while a second man died at a hospital after he was taken there in a private vehicle.

The three people were injured included a man who was in critical condition Saturday and two women with injuries not considered life-threatening.

No arrests had been made as of Sunday morning. None of the victims’ names were released immediately.

Saturday’s shooting came one day after three teens were shot and injured at a funeral reception for a Harding High School student who had been fatally stabbed at school two weeks earlier.

Biden’s DoD Has ‘Lost Track’ Of $220 Billion’s Worth of Equipment

Democrat President Joe Biden’s Department of Defense (DOD) has “lost track” of a staggering $220 billion’s worth of military equipment.

According to a Government Accountability Office report, the DOD, one of the largest federal agencies, has admitted to losing the taxpayer-funded equipment after giving it out to military contractors.

The Pentagon often contracts with third parties for a range of services such as intelligence gathering, weapons development, and transportation.

California Faces Another Blizzard as Severe Storms Hit the Plains

California is facing more extreme weather, while the powerful winter system that had earlier triggered record rainfall, heavy snow and flooding in the Golden State was threatening the Plains with powerful winds and possible tornadoes Sunday night.

The big picture: The National Weather Service Sacramento tweeted Sunday evening that the first of two new storm systems hitting northern California with rain and snow was causing “dangerous travel conditions,” with blizzard warnings to take effect early Monday in the Sierra Nevada — where 4 to 7 feet of snow was set to fall this week.

Threat level: “Travel will be extremely dangerous to impossible with extended road closures likely,” NWS Sacramento said in its blizzard warning, which will remain in effect until 4am Wednesday.

Power outages, downed trees and white-out conditions were expected due to gusty winds along with heavy and blowing snow — and “very high snow rates” of 2 to 4 inches an hour were possible for Monday through Tuesday, according to the local NWS office.

The NWS Los Angeles office noted another weaker storm would impact the area with more rain and snow over Sunday night through Wednesday.

Chicago’s Pursuit of ‘Criminal Justice Reform’ Utter Failure; Homicides Top Nation for 11th Year, Crime Still Rising

Authored by Ted Dabrowski and John Klingner via Wirepoints.org

Rising crime is the number one crisis facing Chicago today. More specifically, the city’s propensity for murder.

Chicago was the nation’s extreme outlier for homicides in 2022, with 697 deaths. More people were murdered here than anywhere else.

What’s worse, Chicago has out-paced the entire nation in murders for 11 years in a row. It’s become an embedded, chronic wound for the city.

That’s not a surprising result given the failed policies of Chicago’s leadership in recent years, from a dramatic drop in arrests to ever-fewer prosecutions to reduced sentencing. The pursuit of “equity” and “social justice,” instead of actual justice, has only increased the protection of criminals, crushed police morale and increased the violence inflicted on ordinary Chicagoans.

Constitutionalist, Anti-Globalist Agenda Dominates Michigan GOP Convention

LANSING — In Michigan, being an unapologetic constitutionalist and uncompromising warrior against the globalist conspiracy seeking to destroy America is required to be considered for political leadership in the Republican Party. On February 17 and 18 in Lansing, the Michigan Republican Party held their 2023 State Convention for the purpose of electing a new party chairman and statewide leadership.

The outcome was the neoconservative wing of the party being ripped out by the root. Anyone even suspected of being willing to do business with the neoconservatives was replaced. Only hardened, proven, and dedicated constitutionalists needed apply, and no amount of outside celebrity influence was going to make a difference. “This is a whole new world of opportunity,” said Mark Forton, the Macomb County GOP chairman and de facto leader of the hardline constitutionalist movement in Michigan.

COVID “Likely Arose” From Lab Leak, US Energy Department Admits in Classified Report

The argument that Covid-19 leaked from the virology lab in Wuhan, China (the only Level 4 lab in Asia) is growing louder after years of Big Tech and governments censoring the Covid debate.

Last summer, the WHO, an avid protector of the Chinese government, made a sharp change in attitude by admitting the possibility of a lab leak. A Senate Committee on Health Education, Labor, and Pensions noted last fall, “substantial evidence suggests that the COVID-19 pandemic was the result of a research-related incident associated with a laboratory in Wuhan.” The FBI and other intelligence agencies have also investigated the Wuhan Lab.

Equity Over Safety: Did an Affirmative-Action Pilot Crash a Plane?

The pilot had a history of acting “impulsively” during training and “an inability to remain calm during stressful situations,” an investigator said. These deficits would prove deadly, too, one fateful February day.

That’s right, Conrad Aska’s checkered flying past didn’t prevent him from being at the helm of Atlas Air Flight 3591, a cargo-carrying Boeing 767-375ER(BCF) traveling from Miami to Houston. But this wasn’t training, and when Aska hit the wrong switch as a result of turbulence and then became disoriented when the plane accelerated, he inadvertently plunged the craft into an unrecoverable dive.

This happened back on February 23, 2019. But exactly four years later, on Thursday, Fox News host Tucker Carlson used the tragic incident as a cautionary tale: Lowering standards in anything’s name — including “diversity’s” — can kill.

FEMA Fumbles Oversight of PPE Shipments, Incurring $238M in Questionable Costs: Watchdog

The Golden Horseshoe is a weekly designation from Just The News intended to highlight egregious examples of wasteful taxpayer spending by the government. The award is named for the horseshoe-shaped toilet seats for military airplanes that cost the Pentagon a whopping $640 each back in the 1980s.

FEMA spent $238 million to transport personal protective equipment (PPE) from overseas to the U.S. during the COVID-19 pandemic, but due to inadequate oversight the agency delivered unnecessary supplies to medical supply distributors while also failing to insure supplies reached healthcare facilities that needed them most, according to a new federal audit report.

Harvard Dumping Misinfo Researcher Who Questioned Hunter Biden Laptop

Harvard’s Kennedy School surprised the disinformation policing community by telling Joan Donovan to wind down her Technology and Social Change project and leave the school by summer 2024, The Harvard Crimson reported.

Donovan has led the project within the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy since its 2019 inception. The project’s website touts its mission as detecting, documenting and debunking “media manipulation as a means to control public conversation, derail democracy, and disrupt society.”

She was a skeptic of the authenticity of Hunter Biden’s laptop, telling an HKS podcast on election day 2020 that “the sourcing of the laptop” to a Delaware repair shop “stinks of tradecraft” and “a drop,” Fox News reported.

HKS staff members told the Crimson that Donovan is not allowed to raise new money, hire new staff or spend existing funds as she might like, and they traced her drawn-out exit to conflict with Dean Douglas Elmendorf.

LA Mayor Bass Calls to Root Out ‘Right-Wing Extremist’ Police, Signals Lowering the Bar for New Recruits

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass called to remove “obstacles” for new police recruits and pledged to root out officers with ties to “right-wing domestic extremist organizations.”

Bass is looking to remove “obstacles” for police recruits who fail to initially qualify for training as a means of further diversifying the LAPD, according to a summary of her public safety goals obtained by Fox News Digital — but police union leaders are questioning the move.

Bass’ summary of goals for police reform includes a list of provisions as well as dates by which the department must report back regarding progress. One provision says a deputy mayor will work in conjunction with a “third party” to “evaluate the personnel process and identify obstacles to entry for recruits who fail to qualify for training.”

North Carolina on Brink of Eliminating Pistol Purchase Permits

The North Carolina General Assembly appears poised to repeal the state’s 110-year-old pistol purchase permit, but how exactly it’s accomplished remains unclear.

House Republicans approved House Bill 50 in a party-line vote on Wednesday to repeal the state’s pistol purchase permit. The measure now heads to the Senate, which approved the same in a broader bill package last week.

Senate Bill 41 was also approved in a party-line vote to repeal the permit that requires approval from the respective 100 county sheriffs. SB 41 includes measures to allow concealed carry of firearms at religious services that share locations with private or charter schools, and to launch a two-year firearm safe storage awareness initiative, as well.

PA. Man Accused of Stabbing Woman in Face After Asking for Jumper Wires

A man is in custody after police say he stabbed a woman in the face after asking if she had jumper wires in the parking lot of a Cambria County senior living facility.

According to a report by the WJAC, Ebensburg police were dispatched to the Cambridge of Ebensburg car park around 5:30pm on February 22 for a report of a stabbing.

Police say a woman called and said a man approached her and stabbed her in the face after asking if she had jumper wires, police say. The suspect was identified as 41-year-old Victor Kealey.

Police arrived at the scene and found the suspect sitting in his vehicle, according to the criminal complaint.

When the police arrived at the scene, they asked him what happened. He reportedly responded by saying, “You know what I’ve done.”

Police say Kealey got out of his vehicle and yelled “just shoot me”.

Also read: Kealey then threatened to stab the officer and continued to demand that he “shoot” him while he was “aggressively” approaching her, according to police.

Authorities say another officer then arrived at the scene and verbally abused Kealey.

Police then searched Kealey and his vehicle, where they discovered several knives and belt holsters, including the knife used to stab the woman.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of a facial wound, police said.

Police say Kealey allegedly “looked at her strangely” before stabbing her and then “walked away calmly.”

According to online court filings, Kealey faces numerous charges including aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and terrorist threats.

He is being held in the Cambria County Jail on $100,000 bail.

Systemic Racism in East Palestine

by Daniel Greenfield

Two years ago, Transportation Secretary Buttigieg announced that he was making the fight against “systemic racism” into the core of his job. The failed South Bend mayor came out of the gate claiming that highways were racist. Last year, he went to Birmingham to announce the launch of a $1 billion plan to tear down racist highways and implement transportation equity.

Taxpayer money would be directed to “economically disadvantaged communities, especially those with projects that are focused on equity and environmental justice.”

East Palestine was not one of them.

On Feb 3, a train filled with hazardous materials derailed in East Palestine. That same day, an interview with Buttigieg about “infrastructure, safety and equity” appeared in Forbes Magazine.

Buttigieg did not mention the disaster in East Palestine, instead he talked about how “communities of color” were being “destroyed” by infrastructure investment and how under Biden, they’d have the opportunity to “reconnect across highways or railways that divide them.”…

Canada in 2023: Protesting the Government is Still Allowed, But Only on Private Property

On Family Day, a celebration called “Family Fringy Day” took place on a private farm somewhere between Hamilton and Cambridge, Ont.

This primary purpose of the event was meant to commemorate last year’s Ottawa Freedom Convoy. At first blush, it seems odd that this gathering would be tale place on a private farm near Steeltown, hundreds of kilometres away from Canada’s capital city.

But then again, we’ve seen how the Trudeau Liberals react to peaceful protests that run counter to their agenda. Which is to say, this government has no problem fining, arresting, and freezing the bank accounts of Canadians in order to shutdown demonstrations that they dislike.

The politician Sahra Wagenknecht and journalist Alice Schwarzer have received a lot of criticism for their peace initiative, but they are unapologetic. “The dying must finally end,” said Wagenknecht. A total of 50 000 people demonstrated for their cause in Berlin.

The left-wing politician Wagenknecht and women’s rights activist Schwarzer called for the demonstration on Saturday. Shortly before the rally began, the police initially spoke of “5 000 participants” and no special incidents.

The organizers said that 10 000 people were registered to participate. The number has since been corrected to 50 000 participants.

If the German MP Denounced by Poilievre Was an Anti-Semite, She Would be in Jail

On last night’s episode of The Ezra Levant Show, Ezra discussed how Pierre Poilievre bent the knee to a cancel culture mob by denouncing a visiting conservative politician from Germany and humiliating three of his own MPs who have met with her in the process.

The “racist, hateful views” he put Christine Anderson, a Member of the European Parliament from Germany, on blast for were deliberately taken out of context or misrepresented by various journalists, Ezra explained.

“This is years ago now, by the way, she said that the holocaust memorial was a shame, that’s what Kinsella said. But no, no, no, she said it was a monument of shame. Yeah, holocaust memorials are monuments of the shame of the Nazis. That’s exactly right.”

He also made the point that it would be impossible for a german politician to be openly anti-Semitic since there are laws against that in place in Germany.

Italy Leads Opposition to EU’s 2035 Ban on Fossil-Fuel Cars

Italy ramped up its protests against European Union (EU) plans to criminalize the sale of new petrol and diesel cars in 12 years, with the transport minister lambasting a quick switch to electric vehicles as “suicide” and a “gift” to Chinese industry.

February 14 this year saw the European Parliament voting — 340 in favor, 279 against — for legislation to wind down the sale of gas and diesel vehicles by 2035. The vote promoted a compromise agreement already inked by the European Council in October 2022, which outlined a blueprint for phasing out fossil fuel-powered vehicles by 2050 on Europe’s roads.

According to the new rules, manufacturers will have to meet a 100-percent CO2 emissions reduction in new vehicles sold by 2035, together with new regulations in store for tracking the amount of emissions.

UK: Extinction Rebellion Target London Fashion Week With Oil Stunt and ‘Die In’

Extinction Rebellion has once again targeted London Fashion Week as part of its climate-focused protests, though this time the enemy isn’t the fashion industry itself: it’s Coca-Cola.

XR activists positioned themselves outside the red carpet at 180 The Strand yesterday and began a series of stunts in protest of London Fashion Week’s partnership with Coca Cola, which XR claim is the “world’s biggest plastic polluter.”

Activists poured fake oil out of large novelty bottles of Coca Cola, splashing it onto the red carpet, set off smoke bombs and held aloft banners which read “Cut the ties to fossil fuels” and “Coca-Cola: World’s top plastic polluter.”

War in Ukraine ‘Stems From the Orange Revolution, a Humiliating Ordeal for Putin’

One year into the war that Russia launched against Ukraine, FRANCE 24 takes a closer look at the anti-Western rhetoric President Vladimir Putin used to justify the conflict, which is rooted in events in the early 2000s, according to historian Françoise Thom, an expert on post-Communist Russia.

On February 24, 2022, as a Putin speech was broadcast on television, Russian troops were penetrating into Ukrainian territory, initiating the most important military operation on European soil since World War II.

During his speech, the Russian president tried to justify the invasion with a brutal tirade against the Kyiv government, which he described as “neo-Nazi”, and against the perceived threat posed by NATO and the US against Russia.

Watch: Alice Springs ‘Hero’ Steps Up to Put the Brakes on Ram-Raids

A local business in Alice Springs is putting its money where its mouth is to protect others in the community as the town deals with an out-of-control youth crime problem.

APJ Concrete has donated concrete bollards to other local businesses in town in an attempt to put the brakes on the ram-raiding thieves causing mayhem in the central Australian town.

“With the current climate with the ram-raids happening … we’ve just been donating a few to businesses that are … getting a bit hard done by with this at the moment,” said the company’s general manager Allan Brown.

“There’s a lot of break-and-enters that have been happening, a lot more than usual and, like I said, you sort of feel a bit sorry for these guys who are getting targeted.

“There’s a lot of guys that are getting hit with the crime that’s happening at the moment.”

The company has been donating the bollards over the past six months in a bid to counter ram raids from youth crime gangs who have been terrorising the town in increasing numbers.

DeSantis Pulls Out All the Stops in Hardline Immigration Plan

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ new set of legislative proposals would go far in making Florida a sanctuary — not for illegal aliens, but for citizens.

In a plan unveiled in Jacksonville, the Republican governor blasted Joe Biden’s “reckless federal open border policies” and presented a list of proposed policies that would increase human smuggling penalties, impose mandatory E-Verify, and ban counties from giving driver’s licenses to illegal aliens.

“With this legislation, Florida is continuing to crack down on the smuggling of illegal aliens, stopping municipalities from issuing ID cards to people here illegally, and ensuring that employers are hiring American citizens or those here legally,” said DeSantis. “Florida is a law and order state, and we won’t turn a blind eye to the dangers of Biden’s Border Crisis.”

Illegal Immigration to Italy Has Reached Its Highest Level Ever

In Italy, despite the overwhelming right-wing electoral success in September, there is still nothing to be seen of the promised asylum turnaround — on the contrary. Giorgia Meloni has been in office for five months, but the arrivals of migrants in Italy have doubled compared to the previous year.

Some 12 667 migrants have arrived in Italy after crossing the Mediterranean Sea since the beginning of the year, a record high. In the same period in 2022, there were still 5 273, half as many, according to the Ministry of the Interior in Rome. The numbers are also explosive because the new head of government, Meloni, promised an immediate halt to illegal mass immigration, which Italy has been suffering from for years, should she win the elections.

Now Meloni is under increasing pressure to justify herself. Italian Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi said the number of migrants would have been even higher had the Meloni government not strengthened cooperation with Libya and Tunisia since taking office in October.

Migrant Boat Wrecks Off Italy, Killing 59, Leaving 80 Survivors, Italian Coast Guard Says

Italian officials on Sunday said they are continuing to search for survivors after an overcrowded wooden boat filled with migrants smashed into the rocky coast of southern Italy, killing at least 59 migrants.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said the migrants’ lives were “cut short by human traffickers,” in a translated statement.

“It is criminal to put a boat that is barely 20 meters long out to sea with as many as 200 people on board and with bad weather forecast,” she also said. “It is inhumane to trade the lives of men, women and children for the price of the ‘ticket’ they have paid with the false prospect of a safe journey.”

The Coast Guard said 80 people have been rescued so far and rescue efforts will continue with the use of boats, planes and even a submarine.

Australia: Vandal Hailed as ‘Hero’ For Painting Over ‘Vulgar’ Pride Mural

A mystery man who painted over a mural of a sexualised teddy bear in Sydney’s CBD has been hailed on social media as a hero.

While police are investigating the act as vandalism, others are recommending the culprit for Australian of the Year and one TV personality even joked that she should marry the man responsible.

The “kink and BDSM-inspired” WorldPride mural featured a teddy bear’s head on a man dressed in leather-bondage gear, laying on a couch with a gay pride flag and a beer car.

It was painted on a wall in York Street by a consortium of local shop owners to promote the city’s month-long LGBTQ celebrations.

But locals were outraged by the mural who described it as “disgusting”, “sick” and “extremely inappropriate” for children.

Trans Doctor Warns Against New Spanish Law Allowing Kids as Young as 12 to Legally Change Gender

Spanish legislators have recently passed a law to allow children aged 12-14 can switch their legal gender with the authorization of a judge, with ages 14-16 now being permitted to do so “without psychological or other medical evaluation,” reported Fox News on Sunday.

In accordance with the new law, anyone over the age of 16 will be able to legally change their gender without parental approval as well. Previously, people who identified as transgender would need a formal diagnosis from several doctors of gender dysphoria before changing gender markers. According to an expert in the field, these new policies can lead to “unexpected consequences.”

PLANDEMIC Elites BROKE Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act: Author Of 1989 Law: COVID IS A BIOWEAPON!

    https://rumble.com/embed/v288g0q/?pub=4

The original 2020 Covid-19 was not natural and was always a bioweapon!
Professor Francis A. Boyle is here to detail why Covid-19 is an offensive biological warfare weapon!

The Chinese Wuhan BSL4 lab is China’s Fort Detrick.
The FDA helped develop the Covid-19 biowarfare agent and is also involved in approving the clot shot vaccines for public consumption.
The Wuhan BSL4 previously published on their website that they successfully aerosolized viruses.

The only reason to aerosolize a virus is to use it as a weapon.
American intelligence services knew from the very beginning that Facui and Collins funded the creation of Covid-19!
mRNA technology was paid for, financed, and envisioned by the Pentagon’s DARPA.

The Federal Government is complicit and involved in the crimes against humanity perpetrated against American citizens.
We must rely on state Attorney Generals to bring these criminals to justice!

        Secret report:

Lab leak likely cause of covid

Published 27 February 2023 in Fria Tider

According to a classified report from the US Department of Energy, the most likely cause of covid-19 is that the corona virus leaked from a lab in Wuhan.

Previously, the Department of Energy has said it cannot determine where the virus originated, but an update to the secret 2021 report makes a different assessment.
This is now reported by the Wall Street Journal.

However, China’s foreign ministry cites that neither China nor the WHO has found any support for the claim that a lab leak was behind the pandemic.

The idea that the coronavirus came from a lab was previously described as a so-called conspiracy theory in the media.

        Origin of the coronavirus:
“Now most likely” that covid-19 came from a

          The Chinese Death
          28/2-23
          By Lars Hedegaard / snaphanen.dk

In March 2020, Chinese virologist Dr Li Meng Yan, who knows the conditions in the much-publicised Wuhan laboratory, was able to report that the Covid virus is artificially produced and that the Chinese authorities deliberately released it – with the intention of harming the Western world.

Dr Li has just repeated his allegations in an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News, virtually the only major news channel to have taken an interest in the case. Otherwise, the entire American mainstream press has consistently claimed that all the accusations against the Chinese Communists were expressions of xenophobia and racism.

Joe Biden has made the same claim, but he and his family have also received large sums of money from the powers that be in Beijing.

Everything suggests that we have not yet experienced the worst consequences of the Chinese virus and vaccines.

Dr James Thorp, a researcher in women’s diseases, tells Fox News that he is about to publish a research report showing that the vaccines against kovid have led to an alarming increase in the number of menstrual complications (a 1 200-fold increase), the number of abortions (57 times) and the number of stillbirths (38 times).

Dr Thorp and his colleagues also found 15 other pregnancy complications, and the problem is worldwide.

But it’s of no interest to the government, which is busy abolishing the Great Day of Prayer, or to the EU, which wants us to eat insects. And they have nothing to fear from the cosy club of power brokers at Christiansborg.
