Forcing everyone to replace their internal combustion vehicles with electric ones will, as has often been pointed out, overload the electrical grid and cause system outages. The solution, of course, is to limit the charging of vehicles and the distance they can be driven.

This is not a bug in the system; it’s a feature. The technocrats promoting the Great Reset know that the current level of vehicular usage cannot be maintained when everyone gets an electric car. And that’s fine: they’ve always wanted you to drive less. Or, preferably, not at all — take public transport instead, so you can experience the full diversity of cultural enrichment.

However, the heaters and chargers should not be completely disconnected from the power supply in critical phases, said Müller to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung. “We want to guarantee a minimum supply at all times.” Even with electricity rationing, private charging stations would be able to obtain enough electricity to charge the battery of an electric car within three hours for a range of 50 kilometers.

The Federal Network Agency considers the local low-voltage networks to be particularly prone to failure. The agency has therefore published a key issues paper that provides for electricity rationing for heat pumps and electric car charging stations in times of high network utilization. Grid operators should then throttle the power supply to the systems. The electricity rationing plans are scheduled to come into effect on January 1, 2024.

And then: Why 50 km? Why not 20, 10 or 5 km? At 50 km you can probably drive 30 km and then you still have 20 km in reserve to the charging station… if you’re lucky and it’s during summer. Otherwise, good luck travelling in those death-traps during a freezing cold winter’s night.

    Elon Musk’s Starship and colonization of the Moon, Mars and the asteroid belt can’t happen fast enough. Perhaps several fifty meter asteroids with stealth shielding and steering rockets for minor course adjustments can one day be nudged from their orbits onto collision courses with Washington DC and Davos…

  2. It is funny to note that Europe’s electrical systems are as venerable as ours, and it would not take much to throw the Europeans into darkness. Imagine no power for weeks while they try to figure out where all the breaks in the systems is? Maybe that would wake the sheep up to get off their backsides to actually do something.

    • Europe’s prize fools are already well advanced down the road to sanctioning themselves into the Dark Ages. And more’s the pity. It doesn’t much matter at this point what the average European wants; their elites are taking them down this path whether they want it or not.

      Perhaps the Davos elites are right after all. Maybe it would be a positive to eliminate 90% of the populace. It wouldn’t be the most suspicious and distrustful that would be eliminated were the conveniences of modern society to disappear. There certainly wouldn’t be any Greenies or alphabet types left after that mass die off.

    Public transportation, at least in the U.S., is largely found in urban and suburban areas, and not in rural America to any great extent. The WEF globalists don’t want people to live in rural places, anyway; they want humanity crammed into cities where they can be watched, manipulated, wealth-farmed, and goodness knows what other horrors await.

    The switch from petroleum to electricity is also a disguised strike at already-strained logistics and supply chains, from everything to food to spare parts and so forth. The WEF forum wants dramatic population reduction, and gradually strangling supply chains is one way to get it.

    Modern agriculture is, to a remarkable extent (I have working farmers and ranchers in the family where we live in the central plains states of the U.S.), dependent upon petroleum to make fertilizer, herbicides, pesticides and many other agricultural chemicals. Most chemical plants use natural gas as a feed stock (starting material) for such production. Including the largest such producer in Europe, namely BASF in Germany, one of the world’s largest chemical companies.

    Cut off petroleum, and you will soon see shortages if not the outright lack of these products. And without enough fertilizer or the other petrochemicals agricultural production depends upon, it is only a matter of time before crop yields begin dropping markedly. When those effects are felt downstream at the local super-market, it isn’t going to be pretty… whether in the U.S. or someplace else.

  4. We have seen a flood of them in the last 6 months. I am waiting to see if they catch on fire when the temperature reaches 45 deg C. We have had a very cool summer so far and everyone went on holiday this year so no traffic. Just wait till they are idling in heavy traffic at 45 deg C.
