Alabama Students Victorious in Free Speech Case at State Supreme Court

A free speech lawsuit against the University of Alabama in Huntsville by its Young Americans for Liberty chapter over a policy that required permission to speak on campus will proceed after the state’s highest court reversed a lower-court ruling.

The lawsuit challenged a UAH policy that “limits most student speech to small ‘speech zones’ and requires students to obtain a permit three business days in advance to speak on campus,” according to Alliance Defending Freedom, the legal nonprofit that represents the YAL club.

Breaking: Elon Musk Says There Are ‘More Smoking Guns’ to Come and He’s Not Suicidal

On a Twitter Spaces on Saturday night, Elon Musk addressed questions about the Twitter Files drop about the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story, and what users can expect for the next drop and transparency at Twitter. Musk pledged to full transparency.

Near the end of the call, Musk joked that he was not in the least suicidal, saying “If I committed suicide, it’s not real!”

Elon Musk Slams New York Times for Its Silence on Twitter Censorship Report

Elon Musk blasted the New York Times Saturday for its refusal to cover the ongoing firestorm over political censorship at Twitter — damning the newspaper as a “lobbying firm for far-left politicians.”

The slam came in response to a tweet from conservative radio host Clay Travis, who had posted that “not one single article about @elonmusk or the @twitter email release” that dropped Friday had appeared in the Gray Lady’s pages or on its website.

“That is because The New York Times has become, for all intents and purposes, an unregistered lobbying firm for far-left politicians,” Musk responded.

FBI Agent Found Not Guilty in 2020 Shooting Aboard Metro Train

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (WJLA) — An FBI agent has been acquitted of attempted second-degree murder in a 2020 non-fatal shooting on board a Metro train in Maryland.

“We were doing some, some tearing up as well because this was a very special client who never, ever, ever should have been put in this position,” attorney Robert Bonsib said.

A Maryland jury found Bonsib’s client, FBI agent Eduardo Valdivia, not guilty in the shooting of a man aboard a Metro train.

The confrontation was caught on camera,

“It was 100% self-defense. He was trying to save his life,” Bonsib said.

According to authorities, Valdivia was heading to work aboard a Metro Red Line train in December 2020 when a panhandler, identified as Steven Slaughter, confronted him and threatened to hurt him if he did not hand over money.

While there’s no audio on the surveillance footage, authorities said the two exchanged words.

Authorities said Valdivia then shot Slaughter twice, who did survive his injuries.

Former Top Intel Chiefs Silent After Musk Twitter Disclosures

America’s top former intelligence officials were mostly mum Saturday after the release of internal Twitter documents detailing how The Post’s bombshell revelations were censored by the social media company.

Leon Panetta, a former CIA director and defense secretary, John Brennan a former CIA director, Mike Hayden, a former CIA director, and Jim Clapper, a former director of national intelligence — who all once said The Post’s reporting had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation,” — declined or did not respond to request for comment about whether the latest disclosures had changed their opinion.

Global Warming? Northern Hemisphere Snow Cover at 56-Year High

The COP27 climate change conference wrapped up last month. World leaders flew in private jets to Egypt to discuss how fossil fuels were quickly heating the planet to the point of no return, as humanity was doomed if crucial climate change policies weren’t implemented. But while the climate alarmist leaders met in the desert, November’s snowfall across the Northern Hemisphere was running at rates exceeding a half-a-century average.

NOAA and Rutgers University released new data that showed snow cover across the Northern Hemisphere reached the highest level since measurements began in 1967 and are currently above the 56-year mean.

GOP Lawmakers Called Twitter’s Post Censorship ‘Tipping Point’ For Big Tech

Republican lawmakers called Twitter’s suppression of The Post’s groundbreaking Hunter Biden laptop story the “tipping point” of big tech shortly after the social media giant’s censorship.

The remarks, revealed in internal emails made public Friday, and shared by Twitter CEO Elon Musk, came after 12 congressional members, including nine GOPers, were informally polled by NetChoice, a lobbying firm for major tech companies including Twitter, Meta, TikTok, and Google shortly after the exposé was censored.

House Republicans Promise to Investigate Exec Vijaya Gadde’s Role in Twitter Censorship

Twitter’s chief censor Vijaya Gadde will come under scrutiny from the Judiciary Committee when Republicans take control of the House in January, The Post has learned.

“We’re tracking Vijaya Gadde’s role in the suppression of the New York Post story on Hunter Biden’s laptop. We absolutely plan to investigate this more. Stay tuned,” a committee spokesperson said Saturday.

Gadde, 48, Twitter’s former head of legal, policy, and trust played a “key role” in censoring The Post’s Hunter Biden coverage, journalist Matt Taibbi wrote after his review of the social media company’s internal communications for a report he called “The Twitter Files.”

Hunter Biden’s Former Law Firm Received $10m in Forgiven COVID Loans While Donating $1m to Dems

Hunter Biden’s past employer, law firm Boies Schiller Flexner, received $10 million in forgiven pandemic loans from the federal government — while donating nearly $1 million to Democratic candidates, an independent investigation has found.

Of 300 top law firms investigated by transparency nonprofit Open the Books, Boies took the single-biggest loan, $10.14 million, from the Paycheck Protection Program, established by the Trump administration in 2020 to help mom-and-pop businesses survive the pandemic. The loan was forgiven in 2021.

Meanwhile, the firm — headed by longtime Joe Biden donor David Boies — billed $480 million to clients in 2020 and 2021, and equity partners each earned $4.5 million.

Boies partners and employees donated nearly $1 million in federal campaign cash during the 2020 and 2022 election cycles, including $213,966 to Biden’s presidential campaign.

Investigation Underway After Boy Gets Hold of Gun, Shoots at 5-Year-Old in NE Houston, Police Say

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A 5-year-old boy is in critical condition after police say he was shot by a child who got a hold of a gun in northeast Houston Saturday afternoon.

Houston Police Department officers said they responded to a shooting call at 4905 Denmark Street near Lockwood Drive at about 12:30 p.m.

According to police, an 8-year-old boy got access to the firearm and shot the 5-year-old.

The 5-year-old was reportedly taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound by his father but was later transported by LifeFlight to Memorial Hermann in critical condition.

Police said the 8-year-old appeared to have a cut on his head and was also taken to the hospital in stable condition, although it’s unclear how he may have received that injury.

James Woods Vows to Sue Twitter, Democrats for Censoring Him Online

Outspoken conservative actor James Woods — a target of Twitter censorship at the Democratic National Committee’s behest ahead of the 2020 election — is threatening to lead a class action lawsuit against the social media giant and the DNC over the damage done to his career and reputation.

“How would you like to fund a class action suit for those who were suppressed?” Woods asked Elon Musk Saturday, in a tweet thanking the billionaire — Twitter’s new owner — for exposing politically motivated suppression of Republicans on the site. “I’ll be happy to be lead plaintiff.”

A Woods tweet from 2020 featuring a photo of a half-naked, apparently drug-smoking Hunter Biden — taken from the scandalous laptop that The Post exposed — was targeted for removal by Democratic Party operatives, according to a Friday document dump of internal messages among Twitter insiders.

Left-Wing Journos Attack Reporter Matt Taibbi for Exposing Musk’s Twitter Files

Mainstream news reporters — in lockstep with Democratic strategists — rushed to social media to smear journalist Matt Taibbi as a “sad” “fraud” as he released his bombshell report on political censorship at Twitter.

“Matt Taibbi…what sad, disgraceful downfall,” Daily Beast columnist and New York Times contributor Wajahat Ali posted. “Selling your soul for the richest white nationalist on Earth.”

On Friday, billionaire Elon Musk — who vowed to give the social media giant a free-speech overhaul when he bought it last month — released to Taibbi a shocking collection of inside correspondence proving that Democrat insiders leaned on Twitter’s censors to suppress The Post’s coverage of Hunter Biden’s laptop ahead of the 2020 presidential election.

Lobbyists Want Media-Big Tech Cartel Bill Attached to Defense Spending

Desperate to pass the Journalism Competition and Preservation Act (JCPA), media lobbyists are attempting to attach it to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), a bill to fund the military.

The JCPA would allow Big Media to form negotiating cartels to gain even more favors with Big Tech. The bill has been criticized by both Democrats and Republicans. Conservatives feel the bill would deepen ties between Big Tech and Big Media for more censorship of conservative views.

On December 2, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo warned against passing the JCPA.

US Air Marshals Prepared to ‘Mutiny’ Against Biden Plan to Leave 99% Flights Unguarded

Dozens of U.S. Air Marshals are prepared to defy the Biden administration’s latest border security plan, which entails leaving about 99 percent of commercial flights unprotected to instead back up overwhelmed U.S. Border Patrol agents. A career air marshal said plans to defy the Biden administration’s orders are approaching a “mutiny” by federal agents.

The Washington Examiner reported that in mid-2021 the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) asked for volunteers from its Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS) office to leave their regular duties guarding flights and instead provide backup for the U.S. Border Patrol. Reuters reported that in October, fewer than 150 air marshals volunteered for a border rotation and that the DHS shifted from requesting volunteers to assigning them to the border.

The plan to pull air marshals over to the southern border comes as the U.S. has seen record-breaking numbers of illegal border crossings under the Biden administration.

Now, as air marshals are being ordered to the border, dozens of rank and file members have indicated they will refuse the assignments. An association of air marshals known as the Air Marshal National Council recently sent a letter to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and FAMS Director Tirrell Stevenson, warning that air marshals will refuse orders to go to the border.

“The rank and file air marshals are going to refuse to deploy and risk termination,” David Londo, a 16-year DHS employee and president of the Air Marshal National Council, told the Washington Examiner on Tuesday. “You’re almost going to have a mutiny of a federal agency, which is unheard of.”

The letter from the Air Marshal National Council, which they provided to the Washington Examiner, referenced two separate security incidents onboard commercial airline flights just in November.

Uvalde Massacre Victims Launch $27B Class Action Suit Against Police, School

Victims of the Uvalde school shooting have filed a multi-billion dollar class action lawsuit against police, along with city and school officials, for the massacre that left 19 children and two teachers dead.

The suit, filed in federal court in Austin Tuesday, claims that officials, including law enforcement, failed to protect children and teachers from an armed attacker inside a fourth-grade classroom during the May 24 shooting spree. The lawsuit is seeking $27 billion for survivors, who continue to suffer “emotional or psychological damages as a result of the defendants’ conduct and omissions on that date.”

Are Lingering Vaccine Mandates Killing British Columbians? Former Paramedic of 30 Years Speaks Out

Today, I bring you a sit-down report with a former B.C. paramedic of over 30 years, who would love to be saving lives of British Columbians but is forbidden to do so by the NDP governments vaccine mandates against certain front-line workers.

John, who prefers that his last name remain anonymous, is part of the BC Paramedics United Society, which is a group of close to 60 paramedics who have dedicated decades of their lives first responding and are calling on the government to be reinstated. The society has retained a sharp Victoria-based lawyer named Umar Sheik to begin their legal fight to getting back to work and back to saving lives.

Despite B.C.’s health-care system being overwhelmed, and ambulance response times delayed due to short staffing, the province is still stubbornly holding on to vaccine mandates that have caused thousands of front-line workers to be unemployed.

Wilfred Laurier University Plans to ‘De-Centre Whiteness’ As Part of the New Diversity Plan for Campus

An email sent to students detailed Laurier’s comprehensive action plan to decrease ‘whiteness’ on campus and ‘decolonize’ the Ontario post-secondary school:

Laurier needs to centre decolonization and equity if it is going to be successful in its desire to create an inclusive community (one of the key elements of the university wide strategic plan).

Equity and decolonization must be central to the university’s mission.

We must move on from our tendency towards superficial, performative and tick-box approaches to equity.

It is imperative that we de-centre structures and cultures of colonization and “whiteness” if the university is to realize its ambitions.

The president of Wilfred Laurier University has not yet decolonized herself from her 300k per year job.

Europe Shows a Clear Link Between Immigration and Crime

Authored by John R. Lott Jr. & James Varney via RealClear Wire

Violent crime is becoming common in Sweden, shocking residents of the famously placid Scandinavian nation, where horrific acts of violence have become “all too familiar,” according to Common Sense Media, part of a Swedish nonprofit organization.

Since 2018, Swedish authorities have recorded an estimated 500 bombings, while what they describe as gang shootings have become increasingly common. The country reported a record 124 homicides in 2020 and many residents were shocked in April when violent riots injured more than 100 police officers.

But Sweden’s crime spike is not an anomaly in Europe, as homicides have risen during the last decade across the European Union, from Hungary and Germany to Denmark and Finland. An analysis of EU and United Nations crime data by RealClearInvestigations shows that, as in Sweden, the broader crime wave is strongly correlated with immigration.

The Guardian Could Help Assange by Retracting All the Lies it Published About Him

Authored by Caitlin Johnstone

The Guardian has joined The New York Times, Le Monde, Der Spiegel and El Pais in signing a letter from the five papers which collaborated with WikiLeaks twelve years ago in the publication of the Chelsea Manning leaks to call for the Biden administration to drop all charges against Julian Assange. This sudden jolt of mainstream support comes as news breaks that Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has been personally pushing the US government to bring the Assange case to a close.

The Guardian’s participation in this letter is particularly noteworthy, given the leading role that publication has played in manufacturing public support for his persecution in the first place.

If The Guardian really wants to help end the persecution of the heroic WikiLeaks founder, the best way to do that would be to retract those many smears, spin jobs and outright lies, and to formally apologize for publishing them.

UK: Man Jailed After Actions That Could Have Caused ‘Violent Explosion’

A MAN has been jailed for attempted arson after police found him releasing toxic gas into a living room, while a trail of gas canisters and potentially explosive ‘sinister’ objects were scattered throughout the home.

The court heard of how Mark Warburton had sent his girlfriend at the time a ‘goodbye text’ that morning, alerting police officers to a apartment on Alder Lane in Orford.

Warburton, now of Cedar Grove in Wigan, appeared before Liverpool Crown Court on Monday via a video link from prison, after pleading guilty to attempted arson with intent to endanger life.

Prosecuting, Nick Cockrell said the incident occurred on May 23 this year.

He said that police were called to the property three times that day, with the first visit due to reports of concern for Warburton after his partner had received the worrying text, and the second visit relating to reports that the accused had been making his own bombs.

Upon the final visit to the flat, situated on the third floor of the apartment block, police entered to witness the disturbing scene of Warburton, 38, lay on the sofa releasing the contents of a butane gas canister into the room.

A lighter was situated on the floor next to a camping stove and within reaching distance of the defendant, and the room was described as ‘hazy’ due to the levels of gas that had already been released.

The court also heard that when entering the kitchen, officers found a microwave with the door open, packed with four butane gas canisters and drill bits and a timer set to 35 minutes.

Several more canisters were found in a blue box and dotted around the premises, along with a dismantled toaster and other potentially dangerous objects.

Mr Cockrell further explained that a fire brigade officer said that if the defendant had ignited his lighter, there could have been a ‘quick and violent explosion’.

Scientist Who Worked at Wuhan Lab Says COVID Was Man-Made Virus

A scientist who worked at a controversial research lab in China has claimed that COVID was a man-made virus that leaked from the facility, according to a report.

Andrew Huff, who worked for a New York-based non-profit that studied viruses, said COVID leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China two-plus years ago and blamed authorities for the “biggest US intelligence failure since 9/11,” Britain’s The Sun reported Saturday.

The lab has been at the center of fierce debates about the origins of COVID, with both Chinese government officials and lab personnel denying that the virus leaked from the facility.

Huff, an epidemiologist, said in his new book, “The Truth About Wuhan,” that the pandemic was the result of the US government’s funding of coronaviruses in China.

This is despite the fact that the boy’s parents have found unvaccinated people willing to donate blood to their child.

Doctors have insisted the child must receive blood from the NZ Blood Service or be removed by authorities.

But the parents have said they were “extremely concerned” that blood donated by people who had the Covid-19 vaccine might adversely affect their baby.

Musk Says Twitter Might Have Interfered in Brazil Elections

Twitter might have interfered in another national election, Elon Musk said.

The social media platform’s personnel may have tried to swing the political tide in Brazil toward left wing stalwart, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, who ousted the country’s far right leader, Jair Bolsonaro.

“I’ve seen a lot of concerning tweets about the recent Brazil election. If those tweets are accurate, it’s possible that Twitter personnel gave preference to left wing candidates,” Musk tweeted early Saturday in response to a user who asked him to get to the bottom of any other national elections Twitter had inserted itself into.

    • and two of those children have arrived in the town of Krefeld.. and been arrested after a cold blooded hit execution style in the city center. It was not about toys but drugs. Who would have guessed. I always wonder how a such small nation can generate a that huge number of the rudest criminals I heard of. Travelers say that they met very friendly and hospitable people there. Yes, because the rogues are elsewhere.

  1. Re: EU President Ursula van der Leyen…

I can hardly believe I’m agreeing with this obnoxious woman, but we Brits behaved appallingly in Ireland, over many centuries…

    • Just another sheep Brit who cannot bend the knee fast enough, self flail away and whip his own back and apologize to everyone on just how mean the bloody English have been in the past. I really wish the Germans won the wars, for nobody would have this self hatred for their own and actually stand up and defend it against outsiders and accomplishments. The Victors never apologize, they hold Victory parades and celebrate.
