Getting Away With Murder

A “Swede” who allegedly committed a murder in Sweden four years ago absconded to Iraq, and has now been arrested by Iraqi police. A Swedish prosecutor wants to make sure the misguided youngster isn’t tried in Iraq, because he might be executed. And also prevented from drawing his social benefits.

OK, so I made that last part up. But still…

Iraqi murder suspect arrested in Iraq — Swedish prosecutor wants to bring him here

November 13, 2022

A 35-year-old man who was wanted for a suspected murder in Vivalla in Örebro in 2018 has been arrested in Iraq. The arrest reportedly occurred a year ago, and the Swedish prosecutor has attempted to get Iraq to extradite the man to Sweden.

The 35-year-old suspect is an Iraqi citizen, and therefore Iraq wants to try him itself.

But the Swedish prosecutor doesn’t think that is a good idea. If the man is convicted of the crime in Iraq, he risks the death penalty — something that the Swedish prosecutor doesn’t want to participate in.

The prosecutor tells P4 Örebro [Sweden Radio] that he has lifted the order for extradition from Iraq and now hopes the suspected man will be released and go to another country — to be arrested there instead.

The prosecutor — who was previously the preliminary investigative leader in the (Olaf) Palme investigation — would rather see the suspected murderer set free than be sentenced in his homeland of Iraq.

  1. Olaf Palme got what he richly deserved for interfering in Rhodesia and South Africa and thank God the SA secret service offed that commie lover.

    • Sorry, but if it was the South African secret service, why didnt they remove other threats closer to South Africa (in South Africa) also?
Rumoors claim that they killed Biko but why did they let Mandela live?

      • That was a mistake on the SA Secret Services part not eliminating Mandela, they thought at the time he could make a peace deal with the kaffirs, they thought wrong and should have known better. They eliminated Bilko because he straight up wanted war with the whites. As for Palme and few other Swedish communists, they got that they deserved, too bad there wasn’t more.

  2. Apparently the Germans aren’t the most foolish of the various Europeans.

Seems the country that produced Saint Greta of Thunberg has also succeeded in producing a prosecutor that would water the eyes of Democrat party bosses with tears of joy. Look for Soros to try and foist him upon an American city as district attorney in the near future.

  3. This guy is a prime example of what Academentia does to an ideological retard.
It wipes common sense and empathy for the victim and family completely out and replaces it with Virtue-signalling.
