Eric Adams to Increase Involuntary Confinements of Mentally Ill After NYC Subway Attacks
New York City Mayor Eric Adams has expanded the city’s ability to deal with mentally unstable New Yorkers, expanding the guidelines for what behaviors justify involuntary commitment, the New York Post has reported.

A federal judge in Manhattan has handed former Republican Congressman Devin Nunes a huge win over Rachel Maddow in a defamation lawsuit.
Nunes is suing NBCUniversal over a comment made by far-left host Maddow.

Kristi Noem Bans TikTok Use on South Dakota State Devices
Republican Gov. Kristi Noem of South Dakota issued an executive order banning the use of TikTok on Tuesday, according to a state press release.
The order prohibits any South Dakota state agency or government employee from downloading or using the TikTok application on a state-issued device, as well as from visiting the TikTok website. Additionally, it extends these prohibitions to any contractor and their personnel doing business with the state.
“South Dakota will have no part in the intelligence gathering operations of nations who hate us,” said Noem in the release. “The Chinese Communist Party uses information that it gathers on TikTok to manipulate the American people, and they gather data off the devices that access the platform.”

Man Shot by Officials After Reportedly Stabbing Parents in Frederick County Incident
Two people are dead after a Frederick County sherriff’s deputy was involved in a shooting at around 2 a.m. Tuesday in the 5800 block of Haller Place.
According to officials, the sheriff’s deputies shot and killed a man they believe stabbed two family members.
As more deputies arrived at the scene, they found the armed suspect, and that’s when the gunfire began.
Deputies and EMS workers found the two victims upon arrival.
Sheriff Chuck Jenkins said they believe a man stabbed his parents, then confronted deputies with a gun. He was then shot and killed.
Officials said the suspect and one of the victims died at the scene, another person was flown to Shock Trauma.

Oakland Will Send Taxpayer Dollars to Residents So They Can Donate to Politicians
Oakland, California, is set to give adult residents vouchers to donate to candidates for local office every other year, according to The San Francisco Chronicle.
Nearly 74% of the city’s voters approved Measure W, mandating that the city biannually send four $25 dollar vouchers to residents 18 years of age and older for donations to mayoral, City Council or school board candidates, the outlet reported. The program will be paid for with city general funds and include legal permanent residents who lack U.S. citizenship.

Oath Keepers Founder Stewart Rhodes Found Guilty of Seditious Conspiracy
A jury found Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes and group member Kelly Meggs guilty of seditious conspiracy on Tuesday over their involvement in the events at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
In total, five members of the group faced seditious conspiracy charges. While Rhodes and Meggs were found guilty, Jessica Watkins, Kenneth Harrelson and Thomas Caldwell were acquitted on that count, according to NBC News. All were found guilty of obstruction of an official proceeding and aiding and abetting.
Caldwell was also found guilty of tampering with documents or proceedings and aiding and abetting. Watkins was also convicted of civil disorder and aiding and abetting.

Rand Paul Calls Out Complete Lack of Oversight on Ukraine Aid
Senator Rand Paul reacted Monday to news that the Biden administration is struggling to account for some $20 billion in aid that was sent to Ukraine, noting that both political parties ignored his call for an inspector general to overlook it.

Republican States Take Drastic Measure in Latest Salvo Against ESG Movement
FIRST ON FOX: A coalition of 13 Republican attorneys general filed a rare motion Monday, asking a top federal energy regulator to prevent a financial institution from purchasing shares of publicly listed utility companies.
The state officials, led by Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes, asked the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), to hold a hearing examining whether Vanguard Group should be given blanket authorization to purchase large quantities of public utility stocks due to its support for environmental, social and governance (ESG) investing. ESG standards broadly promote investments in green energy over fossil fuels.
As it and other major financial institutions do every three years, in February, Vanguard asked FERC for the green light to own more than $10 million worth of public utility shares. Under the Federal Power Act, FERC is required to periodically review and approve or deny such applications.

Seattle Subjected White City Employee to ‘Racially Hostile Work Environment’, Lawsuit Alleges
A former Seattle municipal employee filed a lawsuit against the City of Seattle earlier in November for allegedly creating a “racially hostile” working environment.
The plaintiff, Joshua Diemert, alleges that he was denied opportunities in his career in Seattle’s Human Services Department because of his race, forced to sit through race-based training sessions, urged to join “race-based affinity groups” and accused of benefiting from “white privilege.” Diemert seeks a declaration that Seattle’s policies and practices violated the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act as well as damages up to $300,000.

Twitter Stops Enforcing COVID-19 Misinformation Policy
Twitter will no longer enforce its Covid-19 misinformation policy, under which users who deviated from prevailing establishment narratives frequently had their accounts locked or suspended.
The longstanding policy did not apply to misinformation from government officials, who regularly lied about things such as transmission, masks, vaccine efficacy, side effects, or any of the other ‘science’ which turned out to be patently false.
Twitter did not officially announce the change, rather, the company added a note to a page on its website outlining its Covid-19 policy.

Wallet Thief Who Stabbed Man and Jumped Out of Window Remains at Large: Police
A York County man jumped out a second-story window to avoid arrest after stabbing another man and stealing his wallet, police said.
West York police said 46-year-old Damon X. Ward is considered armed, dangerous and injured, and might seek medical attention.
Ward robbed and tried to slit a man’s throat Monday evening, according to police. Police said the man who was robbed was found lying on the ground, bleeding profusely, in the 1000 block of St. Paul Alley.

Walmart Employee Files $50M Lawsuit Following Chesapeake Mass Shooting
CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — An employee who survived the mass shooting at a Walmart in Chesapeake last week has filed a $50 million lawsuit against the company.
The lawsuit, filed by Donya Prioleau, claims she submitted a complaint about the gunman two months prior to the shooting that took the lives of six Walmart employees. Police say the shooter also died, from a self-inflicted wound.
Prioleau had been working at the Walmart Supercenter near Battlefield Boulevard in Chesapeake for more than a year. She was working the night of the shooting and claims to have narrowly avoided being shot.

Campus Watch: University of Calgary Professor Position Only Open to Black Applicants
The University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business is looking to hire a new professor, however the position is only open to black people.
The online job posting for Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, which features multiple Indigenous land acknowledgements, notes that the opening is not limited to a specific subject.
Rather, applicants can apply to teach any of the Haskayne School’s “core areas of focus.” These include: accounting, business technology management, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, operations management, organizational behaviour and strategy.
The university then notes that the position “is only open to qualified Black scholars,” giving Black Pioneer, African and Caribbean as examples.

During the pandemic, several doctors in the Canadian province of British Columbia (BC) hit the headlines for opposing Covid measures. State-sanctioned medical authorities responded by warning physicians that if they “put the public at risk with misinformation,” they may face investigations and regulatory action. Now, just 18 months later, these threats from medical authorities have evolved into a sweeping piece of legislation that includes two-year jail sentences for doctors who are deemed to be spreading certain types of “false or misleading information.”
The new legislation, Bill 36 — Health Professions and Occupations Act (HPOA), was approved by the legislature last Thursday and immediately received Royal Assent. A Cabinet order will determine when it comes into force.

Exclusive: Poilievre Opposes Firearms Bill Amendments, Pledges to Repeal C-21
Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre has come out against the Liberals’ proposed amendments to ban almost all semi-automatic rifles and shotguns.
Poilievre told True North’s Andrew Lawton during an exclusive interview that he would fight to repeal the bill and that the latest amendment wrongly bans hundreds of thousands of firearms that are used for hunting.
“I oppose both Bill C-21 and the amendments that they most recently brought in. This amendment effectively bans hundreds of thousands, if not millions of firearms that are in Canada today that are used for hunting. These are hunting rifles and hunting shotguns,” responded Poilievre.

Trudeau Supports Chinese Protestors After Calling Canadian Protests for Policy Change ‘Worrisome’
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expressed support for Chinese protestors demonstrating against government lockdowns, despite calling protests in his own country “worrisome.”
The prime minister said Tuesday that Chinese protesters are fighting for human rights by demonstrating against the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) “zero-COVID” policy. Chinese citizens’ frustration comes from the strict government lockdowns, which prevent citizens from leaving their homes for as long as 100 days, a lack of work bonuses and poor quarantine protocols and a slow economy.

A 71-year-old man’s body was found lifeless three hours after he was admitted to the emergency department of Saint-Malo Hospital in France, with critics pointing to the mass terminations of French nurses who refused Covid-19 vaccines as a contributing factor in the man’s death.
The emergency room admitted the 71-year-old man just before 9 p.m. on Nov. 17. After he received routine examinations, he then waited three hours on a stretcher in a hallway. His body was then discovered there by hospital staff.

Poland is keen to reopen the topic of reparations it believes it is owed by Germany for the atrocities committed by its neighbor in World War II, but Germany is trying to bury the conversation, according to Poland’s Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Arkadiusz Mularczyk.

Poland Pays US Influencers to Further War Support
Poland has hired two US PR companies for a pro-Ukraine campaign in the West. According to the official statement, Poland’s state bank has hired MikeWorldWide and AMW PR for “a global campaign to inform the general public about the impact of Russia’s war in Ukraine”.
The PR company MikeWorldWide, is closely linked to the US Democratic Party, and was tasked in September with boosting Western support to Ukraine through influencers and social media.
The primary objective “is to raise awareness among at least 50 million people of the actual dimension of the war in Ukraine and the scale of the damages,” according to MikeWorldWide’s services agreement with Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego.
Poland’s national bank will be paying $3 million for media exposure, including advertisements on Facebook, Twitter, NPR, USA Today, Spotify and Vox, as well as for influencers.

A flight attendant has died suddenly after suffering an unexpected heart attack mid-flight, according to reports.
Yasser Saleh Al Yazidi was a member of the cabin crew for Gulf Air.
Gulf Air flight GF-19 was forced to make an emergency landing when Yasser suffered a sudden and fatal cardiac arrest at 34,000ft during a flight from Bahrain to Paris.
Yasser, who was young and presumed to be otherwise healthy, tragically passed away after the plane left Bahrain International at 1.40 am on Tuesday.

The Iranian national football team and their families have allegedly been threatened with imprisonment and torture by Iranian authorities if they repeat their refusal to sing the national anthem ahead of Tuesday’s FIFA World Cup showdown against the United States.
An anonymous source told CNN that all 26 players in the Iranian squad had been summoned to meet with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRCG) after the starting XI embarrassed the nation’s elites by refusing to sing the national anthem against England on Nov. 21 to show solidarity with anti-government protesters focusing particularly on women’s rights.
“There are a large number of Iranian security officers in Qatar collecting information and monitoring the players,” the source told the U.S. news outlet.

Amid protests in Iran that have lasted close to three months, many Iranians were rooting for the United States to defeat their own home country in Tuesday’s World Cup match.

Mass protests against China’s ‘zero-covid’ policy have spread to Hong Kong, after demonstrators on the mainland began demanding that President Xi Jinping resign.
Around 50 students at the Chinese University of Hong Kong were pictured chanting “No PCR tests but freedom!” and “Opposed dictatorship, don’t be slaves!” while holding up blank pieces of paper — which have become a symbol of protest against China’s clampdown on freedom of expression, according to Axios. The blank paper protests were previously seen during the Hong Kong protests in 2020, and earlier this year during demonstrations against the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

China Protestors Call for End to CCP Rule
Extraordinary protests quickly spread across China over the weekend, including major cities such as Beijing and Shanghai, since a fire Thursday claimed a reported 10 lives in an apartment block in Urumqi, in the northwestern part of the country.
China’s people were enraged by the regime’s COVID controls, which had prevented firefighters from reaching the scene of the tragedy in time. “This is people past their breaking point,” tweeted CNN’s Selina Wang on Sunday.
Also on Sunday, the Telegraph‘s Simina Mistreanu reported on Twitter that a crowd numbering at least 100 began marching toward Tiananmen Square, in the heart of the Chinese capital. Chinese authorities are fighting back against widespread protests by flooding the streets with police in a strong show of force for a regime facing its most significant dissent in decades.

Six Charged After Activists Glue Hands to Ground at Premier’s Perth Office
Six people have been charged after Extinction Rebellion members spray-painted and blocked the entrance of government offices at Dumas House on Tuesday morning.

JOHANNESBURG — The convicted killer of South African anti-apartheid leader Chris Hani has been stabbed in prison, two days before he was due to be released on parole, prison authorities said Tuesday.
Janusz Walus, a 69-year-old Polish national, was set to be released on Thursday after the country’s Constitutional Court last week ordered his release on parole within 10 days.
He was sentenced to life imprisonment for Hani’s 1993 murder, which took place during a volatile political climate ahead of the country’s transition from apartheid to democracy and almost plunged the country into political violence.
Correctional services department spokesman Singabakho Nxumalo confirmed in a statement that Walus allegedly was stabbed by a fellow inmate.
“The Department of Correctional Services is able to confirm an unfortunate stabbing incident involving inmate Janusz Walus. A detailed incident report is to be provided at a later stage,” Nxumalo said.
He said Walus was currently stable and receiving medical attention from the prison medical services.

A migrant duo convicted of raping an 18-year-old Ukrainian refugee on a hotel ship in Germany back in March have been sentenced to just three and four years in prison.
Rachid B, a 26-year-old migrant from Tunisia, received four years, and Abdullahi A, a 38-year-old Nigerian national, received three years in prison at their sentencing hearing on Friday after being found guilty of raping the unnamed Ukrainian teen back in March.
The attack occurred on board the “Oscar Wilde” hotel ship, which was being used to house Ukrainian refugees in the city of Düsseldorf in western Germany. According to local media, the two assailants also held Ukrainian nationality and were therefore housed alongside Ukrainian women and children fleeing the Russian invasion.

Leicester and Birmingham Become First UK Cities to Have ‘Minority Majorities’
Leicester and Birmingham have become the first cities in the United Kingdom where ethnic minorities now form the majority of the population, according to new census data published by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) on Tuesday.
The data compiled during the last census of England and Wales, which took place on March 21, 2021, revealed that Birmingham, dubbed England’s second city, now comprises a minority of 48.6 percent who identify as White.
