How Obama’s Big Economic Lie Caused Our Inflation Crisis

Conspiracy theories and lies have a unique power to reshape the human mind. The things that we believe, even when we initially know that they’re a convenient rationalization, become a part of us. And eventually we come to build our entire worldview around a lie that we told long ago.
That’s the story of Russiagate, a bizarre conspiracy theory invented by the Clinton campaign and allies in the Obama administration that virtually every Democrat now believes is true. And it’s quite likely that Hillary Clinton, whose people made it up, also came to believe it’s true.
It’s also the story of the inflation crisis.
To understand how we got here, it helps to remember the last time a Democrat took over the White House during a troubled time with a mandate to save the economy. Time Magazine clumsily photoshopped him into a picture of FDR on its cover. The messianic ecstasy however soon gave way to frustration because Obama’s economic triumph never arrived.
The misnamed Recovery Act was a corrupt disaster, but, more relevantly for Democrats, it didn’t deliver anything meaningful and foreshadowed Obama’s transformation from the chosen one to just another politician. While Obama still did a great deal of damage, the FDR moment never came, and without it there was no momentum for a New Deal or a grander economic agenda.
Democrats and their think tank and academic allies refused to admit that the Recovery Act was a mistake. Instead, like all leftists, they insisted that the experiment hadn’t been properly tried. Just as Communism can never fail because it’s never been truly tried, the massive stimulus had never been properly tried either. The only problem with the Recovery Act was that it wasn’t big enough. Had Obama and the Democrats pulled off a truly huge package, they would have gotten their New Deal, held Congress and completely transformed America.
That excuse became the big lie that most people forget, but that the media occasionally kept warm and that Obama administration veterans carried with them into the Biden White House.

“Atmospheric Chess Pieces Align”: Polar Vortex May Unleash Arctic Blast as Far as Deep South
Ever so often, the polar vortex dips south over North America from its usual perch in the Arctic and brings a blast of cold air. The next arrival appears imminent, potentially as early as the first week of December, over the eastern half of the US.

ATLANTA (WANF/Gray News) — A 12-year-old is dead and five others are injured after a shooting on the 17th Street bridge near Atlantic Station in Atlanta, WANF reported.
Police say a dispute Saturday night escalated to gunfire.
Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens said in a news conference Sunday that one of the five shooting victims is in critical condition.

Bar Association Votes to Abandon LSAT to ‘Enhance Diversity’
An arm of the American Bar Association voted on Nov. 18 to end the longstanding requirement that prospective law students take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) — a standardized test which gauges one’s logical reasoning skills, rather than a strictly knowledge-based test such as the SAT, GRE, and MCAT.
The ABA’s Council of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar voted in an overwhelming majority to do away with the testing mandate, voting against the objections of nearly 60 law school deans who warned that the move could actually harm the goal of diversifying the legal profession.
If adopted, it would make standardized testing optional for a career that notoriously demands a lot of standardized knowledge, WSJ reports.

Binance’s ‘CZ’ Says Half Billion WhatsApp User Records for Sale on Dark Web
Nearly half a billion WhatsApp users’ mobile phone numbers are allegedly for sale on a dark web community forum, according to multiple sources, including Binance’s billionaire Changpeng “CZ” Zhao.
“A new set of 487 million WhatsApp phone numbers for sales in the Dark Web,” CZ tweeted Sunday. He said a sample of hacked data “indicates the phone numbers are legit.”
CZ warned users on the Meta-owned platform that “threat actors downstream will use this data to conduct smishing (phishing messages) campaigns.”

Charter School Enrollment Soared Nationwide During Pandemic as Parents Sought Alternatives
The pandemic prompted a seismic shift in education as parents moved their children to charter schools and kept them there even after public school reopened, a new report shows.
More than 240,000 students enrolled during the pandemic in charter schools, a 7% increase, while public schools lost approximately 1.5 million students, or nearly 3.5%, the report by the nonprofit National Alliance for Public Charter Schools said.
The gains held steady even when public school reopened, the report noted.

FBI Waited Over a Year to Fully Investigate Jan. 6 Pipe Bombs: House Judiciary Republicans

As part of a gargantuan 1,050-page report detailing whistleblower findings from the FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ), Republicans found that the FBI waited over a year to begin a comprehensive investigation into the pipe bombs that were planted in front of both major parties’ headquarters on Jan. 5, 2021.
In the Nov. 5 report, Republicans argued that the FBI and DOJ have undergone “weaponization” during the course of President Joe Biden’s first term in office.

Florida A&M University Police, Tallahassee Police Investigating Fatal Shooting
Incident occurred Sunday afternoon
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Florida A&M University Police Department and the Tallahassee Police Department are is investigating a shooting incident.
FAMU said in a news release Sunday night that it is working with the Tallahassee Police Department on the incident that occurred at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the basketball courts located on the 2100 block of Wahnish Way.
FAMU and the Tallahassee Police Department confirmed that an adult male died from injuries sustained in the incident.
The report notes that four other people were injured. Among the injured is a juvenile male and three adult males.

Restrictions to AirDrop were enacted exclusively in China earlier this month after it was used to share posters opposing President Xi Jinping and the Chinese government, and just weeks before widescale protests against the state’s strict zero-COVID policies began this weekend.

China Cracks Down on Internet Discourse as Biggest Protests Since Tiananmen Square Break Out
Videos shared on Chinese social media first showed protests against Covid restrictions in Urumqi, the capital of the western province of Xinjiang, after a fire at a locked-down apartment building killed 10 people. Now, the protests have swept nationwide.
The Chinese Communist Party, in conjunction with tech platforms, are rapidly trying to take down videos and comments about the protests that have already swept across the country, with anti-lockdown protesters at rallies openly calling for President Xi Jinping to resign.
China is one of the few remaining countries to crush civil liberties and keep draconian lockdown policies.
Several hundred students at Tsinghua University in Beijing have joined the growing mass of demonstrations across the country as social platforms like Weibo and WeChat are desperately trying to remove all evidence.

COVID Lockdown Protests Erupt in Beijing, Xinjiang After Deadly Fire
Protests have erupted in Beijing and the far western Xinjiang region over COVID-19 lockdowns and a deadly fire on Thursday in a high-rise building in Urumqi that killed 10 people (with some reports putting the number as high as 40).
Crowds took to the street in Urumqi, the capitol of Xinjiang, with protesters chanting “End the lockdown!” while pumping their fists in the air, following the circulation of videos of the fire on Chinese social media on Friday night.

Crowd Angered by Lockdowns Calls for China’s Xi to Step Down
SHANGHAI (AP) — Protesters angered by strict anti-virus measures called for China’s powerful leader to resign, an unprecedented rebuke as authorities in at least eight cities struggled to suppress demonstrations Sunday that represent a rare direct challenge to the ruling Communist Party.
Police using pepper spray drove away demonstrators in Shanghai who called for Xi Jinping to step down and an end to one-party rule, but hours later people rallied again in the same spot. Police again broke up the demonstration, and a reporter saw protesters under arrest being driven away in a bus.
The protests — which began Friday and have spread to cities including the capital, Beijing, and dozens of university campuses — are the most widespread show of opposition to the ruling party in decades.
In a video of the protest in Shanghai verified by The Associated Press, chants against Xi, the most powerful leader since at least the 1980s, and the Chinese Communist Party sounded loud and clear: “Xi Jinping! Step down! CCP! Step down!”

Australian Company Directors Have Just One Week to be Forced Into Mandatory Digital ID
About one million Australians are not aware of, or are ignoring, a digital ID tax office requirement with only one week to go before the deadline, Sky News Australia reported.
For every person covered by the Corporations Act, the Australian Tax Office requires them to apply for digital director IDs. The corporations act covers those running most small businesses, major entities, charities, and nonprofits. Those who do not sign up for the director IDs could face fines of up to $13,000 and be deemed ineligible to operate a company.
So far, fewer than 1.5 million of the 2.5 million company directors in the country have registered for the director IDs. Some have blamed the slow roll out on poor messaging by the ATO, but the agency disagrees.

Jacinda Ardern’s Air Travel Reaches an All-Time High
New Zealand government MPs spent $1.2m on international flights in the three months from July to September.
Flight costs for Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern in that period were $329,000. It was the most spent by one minister on flights in a quarter since the expense releases began in 2009.
Ardern said the “significantly higher” costs were incurred due to airfares rising after Covid-19.
The Prime Minister, who continually warns about the dangers of human induced climate change, has travelled extensively since borders reopened, including to numerous trade summits, the Queen’s funeral, and meetings at the United Nations.
The leader responsible for harsh lockdowns during the pandemic said it was important to connect with international businesses and other leaders face-to-face.

The Muslim Slaughter of Christians
Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC): On Oct. 1, machete-wielding militants of the so-called “Allied Democratic Forces” (ADF), a wing of the Islamic State, slaughtered 14 men and women in a surprise attack on a village in the Christian nation (96% Christian, 1% Muslim). According to another report, the bodies of those hacked to death “were found bearing signs of torture.” Before leaving, the militants had torched the village, destroying the survivors’ livelihoods, and had abducted two children.
Again, on Oct. 5, the jihadists slaughtered between 10 and 20 Christians, including a pastor, during a raid on another village, which they also torched before leaving. An additional 20 villagers were also reported missing.

Brazil: Millions Protest Against Socialist President-Elect Lula da Silva, Reject Communism
The entire nation of Brazil is in a citizen uprising over allegations of a rigged presidential election. Millions have taken to the streets in protest of President-elect Lula da Silva, a far-left socialist and convicted criminal who was sentenced to 12 years in prison on corruption charges.
But because of the country’s corrupt Supreme Court, the case was annulled and Lula was freed from prison to seek another presidential term after previously serving for eight years before Bolsonaro was elected. Brazilians from across the country have been peacefully protesting for more than 20 consecutive days. Rain or shine the citizenry is rejecting communism, and living in South America, they know the dangers that communism brings all too well. They say that they are ready to go to war if the election is certified.
But if you don’t pay attention to world politics, you might not even be aware of the protests happening in Brazil…since journalists are being jailed and mainstream media refuses to report on the uprising, running cover for the globalists. Even conservative congressmen are being put in prison for speaking out against Lula.

Hungary Sets EU Borders Protection Example
Hungary said at the start of the migration crisis in 2015 that the external borders of the European Union must be protected, and proved that it is possible, Balazs Hidvéghi, Fidesz MEP, said at a conference on illegal migration in Strasbourg on Wednesday.
Viktor Orban was the only prime minister in Europe to make it clear that refugees and economic migrants must be distinguished and not confused. Later on, the categories of migrants and refugees were deliberately confused, which led to many conflicts in Europe, the Hungarian politician said.

Italy’s Black Pro-Migrant MP Suspended on Suspicion of Mistreating Migrants
Italian pro-migrant lawmaker Aboubakar Soumahoro has decided to withdraw from his parliamentary group, the Alliance of the Greens and the Left (Alleanza Verdi Sinistra), due to ongoing investigations against his wife and mother-in-law for tax fraud and mistreatment of migrants.
Soumahoro’s wife and mother-in-law are suspected of corruption, evading taxes and allowing migrants to live in precarious conditions in facilities financed by public funds.
The investigation started after 30 former residents in the structures managed by the family, including minors, had complained to the press and the relevant trade union.
The former residents reported “unacceptable living conditions” due to poor hygiene, lack of electricity, clothing, food and water, and the absence of pocket money, which should have amounted to 10 euros per day. Karibu and Consorzio Aid claimed they were waiting for payments from the local authorities.

New Segment of Surveillance Fence on Belarus Border Ready for Action
Another section of an electronic surveillance system on Poland’s border fence with Belarus is set to become operational, the deputy interior minister said on Friday.
The first section of the surveillance system near the Polish village of Kuznica is 21-kilometres long and has been in operation for a week. It features more than 300 day-night cameras, thermal-imaging cameras and an electronic telecommunications station.
PAP has learned that the next segment of the system, set to be in operation on Friday, will be 16-kilometres long and have 250 cameras, and that yet another section would be activated within the next few days.

Cambridge Trinity College Dean Defends Sermon on Jesus Being ‘Trans’, Having ‘Vaginal’ Side Wound
The dean of Trinity College at the University of Cambridge defended a junior research fellow who gave a sermon leaving worshipers in “tears” after claiming Jesus had a “trans body,” and that his side had a “vaginal appearance.”
Trinity College Dean Michael Banner said fellow Josua Heath’s sermon last Sunday “suggested that we might think about these images of Christ’s male/female body as providing us with ways of thinking about issues around transgender questions today,” the U.K. Telegraph reported.

Canada: Edmonton School Board Conducts Woke Student Survey
The Edmonton Public School Board (EPSB) is conducting a student demographic survey focused on gender identity, sexual orientation — similar to a controversial Toronto one that was recently shelved.
The survey, ongoing from Nov. 1 to Dec. 16, pledges to advance anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion. According to the EPSB, the survey is meant to “identify barriers and inequities and inform actions the division will take to enhance student success.”
The website listing what the survey will probe students on includes a student’s gender identity, racial, ethnic and religious identity, and the sexual orientation of students in grades 7-12. Some voices think this goes too far.

Disney’s ‘Strange World’ To Lose $100 Million in Theatrical Run
Disney’s “Strange World” bombed at the box office over Thanksgiving, leaving the studio to mop up oceans, mountains and terrains of red ink.
The animated feature debuted dramatically behind expectations with $11.9 million from 4,174 North American theaters over the weekend and $18.6 million over the five-day holiday frame. Dutch Football Reps Won’t Wear Onelove Armband During Match Against Qatar

Education advocacy organization Parents Defending Education (PDE) has launched an initiative to expose “progressive education policies” in private schools.
