Condo Owner’s Suicide Caused Gaithersburg Building Explosion: Police

Montgomery County police say Juan Pablo Marshall Quizon recently bought the condo at the Potomac Oaks complex where the explosion happened

An explosion that ripped through two condo buildings in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and left at least 10 people injured was the act of a man who died by suicide, Montgomery County police said Friday.

A medical examiner identified a body search crews found in the rubble on Thursday as Juan Pablo Marshall Quizon, a man who recently purchased a condo at the Potomac Oaks complex on Quince Orchard Boulevard, Montgomery County Police Chief Marcus Jones said in a news conference Friday evening.

Marshall Quizon’s manner of death was suicide and the cause of his death was smoke inhalation and burns, the medical examiner ruled.

Jones said evidence, including a suicide note police found, supports the ruling that Marshall Quizon died by suicide. Police spoke to several people close to him and “know for a fact that he made statements that were indicative of intentions of suicide,” Jones said.

Someone reported Marshall Quizon missing to Montgomery County police on Wednesday, but they didn’t know he owned a condo at Potomac Oaks, Jones said. Land records showed that Marshall Quizon purchase unit #2 at that 826 building in August, according to Jones.

Jones said police don’t believe Marshall Quizon intentionally wanted to harm other people, but “if he was still living he would be criminally culpable for injuries and property damage.”

Another Sign Europe’s Conservative Alliance Between Hungary, Poland, And Czechia is Dead

Poland and Czechia are once again pressuring Hungary and putting the Visegrad Four (V4) alliance under threat over Hungary’s stance on the war in Ukraine — despite Hungary being one of the few countries that has backed them in the past on key issues like migration and national sovereignty. This time, Poland and Czechia canceled a meeting of the Visegrad Four countries’ parliamentary leaders in the Slovakian capital of Bratislava.

The move comes after a long series of hostile statements and gestures against Hungary from its former allies, which have led to an unraveling of the conservative alliance that once served as a counterbalance to the left-liberal establishment in Brussels, Paris, and Berlin.

Caroline Glick: The Biden Administration Weaponizes the FBI Against Israel

The Biden administration is feeding Israel to the wolves. That is the only reasonable way to understand Channel 14’s bombshell report on Sunday that the FBI has opened an investigation of IDF soldiers in relation to the death of Al Jazeera reporter Shireen Abu Akleh.

Abu Akleh died on May 11 in Jenin while she was embedded with Iranian-controlled Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists engaged in a gun battle with IDF soldiers. The battle took place in the midst of an onslaught of murderous terror attacks carried out by Jenin-based terrorists affiliated with the Iranian-proxy. On May 5, two PIJ terrorists from Jenin hacked three Israelis to death with axes and wounded three more in the haredi city of Elad, just as Israel’s Independence Day celebrations were ending. The soldiers that entered Jenin on May 11 were part of a counter-terror force tasked with breaking up the PIJ infrastructure in the city.

Immediately after Abu Akleh was killed, the Biden administration began demanding that the IDF investigate her death and accept the blame for it. In the ensuing months, every time senior Israeli officials came to Washington to discuss their concerns over the Biden administration’s peripatetic efforts to empower and enrich Iran while legitimizing its nuclear weapons program in the ill-conceived “nuclear talks,” they found they had no one to talk to. Everyone from Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan to Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman rebuffed them. All the administration officials wanted to discuss was Abu Akleh’s death, and how Israel was criminally culpable for it.

From the outset, the administration’s position was unhinged. The IDF’s operation was legitimate and necessary. Any reasonable observer—particularly one from an allied government—could have been expected to recognize this fact. Moreover, the Palestinian Authority refused to cooperate with the investigation into Abu Akleh’s death. Siding with the terrorists, the P.A. refused to permit Israeli medical examiners to examine her body or IDF investigators to look at the bullet that killed her. The P.A. and PIJ jointly scrubbed the battle scene and so blocked any investigation from reaching conclusive findings.

But again, no investigation was necessary. Everyone knew the IDF didn’t target Abu Akleh…

West Bengal: ‘Obscene Proposal’ to Hindu Woman, Muslim Si Suspended

Muslim Sub-Inspector of Haridevpur PS under Kolkata Police suspended for giving ‘an obscene proposal’ to a young Hindu woman in the trouble of domestic violence.

Sutapa Das | HENB | Kolkata | Nov 17, 2022:: A young Hindu woman received an obscene proposal from a Muslim policeman while seeking legal advice for domestic violence being faced by her. The incident created a lot of criticism in the police circles.

Accused Sub-Inspector Ainul Haque was posted at Haridevpur police station under Kolkata police. Haque was suspended based on the woman’s complaint. According to sources, a departmental investigation has been started against him. The way that policeman has tarnished the name of the department, some of the officials are really angry about the matter.

According to police sources, the young woman, a resident of Haridevpur, has been a victim of domestic violence for a long time. She has also been suffering from great family hazards. A few days before this mentally broken young woman went to Haridevpur police station to seek legal advice.

The woman said in her complaint that sub-inspector Ainul Haque was on duty at that time. The woman had a discussion with him on how to proceed in this matter and what are the legal procedures so far.

At that time the accused Sub-inspector wrote down the woman’s mobile number and home address.

The complainant claimed that the sub-inspector Ainul Haque went to her house on Monday afternoon. While opening the door, Haque said, he came to discuss the domestic violence allegations. But, during the discussion, the police sub-inspector gave obscene proposals in a perverted mind, as the young woman claimed in her complaint. Immediately she called 100 dial. When she was contacted by Lalbazar end, she narrated the whole incident to the police authority.

Lalbazar immediately intimated the matter to Divisional Deputy Commissioner of the South West Division. From primary investigation, it was found that Ainul Haque had gone to the woman’s house without informing anyone. The rules say that when an officer or staff goes outside the police station for an investigation, it must be mentioned in writing in the general diary register. But, Ainul Haque did not maintain those rules. For this gross defalcation and dereliction of duties, Haque was suspended immediately. A departmental investigation has been started against him. The woman may be called for the purpose of investigation. Until the charge is cleared against Haque, the suspension will be in force.

On this incident, a part of the police officials said, women approach the police if they have any problem. They trust the police. But if such irregularities and bad things happen, they will lose confidence in the entire police department. In that case, the credibility of the police will be questioned.

Does the Cultural Left Want to Destroy Tolkien’s Work?

The question of whether or not the cultural left wished to destroy the work of the famous J. R. Tolkien was asked by many after the mighty Amazon Prime Video started to stream a new series “The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power,” based on the works by the English writer.

The high-budget series is visually rich but fails to capture the spirit of Tolkien’s literature. Instead of metaphors and messages inspired by Christianity and a traditional world-view, which his literature is full of, the series offers political correctness and woke ideology.

Just part of the slow conditioning to 1984.

    Next it will be butter.

    Then bread.

If done carefully enough the next generation will look at the oldies askance and wonder what we are blathering on about.

Unless things go “snap” before then of course.
