“He Set Off My BS Detector”: Elon Musk Passed on Having Sam Bankman-Fried as Investor in Twitter

While Elon Musk is certainly busy dealing with his own set of problems in the world of Tesla and Twitter, one thing he doesn’t have to worry about is being entangled with the now-defunct FTX, or its founder, Sam Bankman-Fried.

That’s because, according to Musk, Bankman-Fried set off his “BS detector” when he approached Musk about a potential investment in Twitter, according to Musk and a new Yahoo! Finance article.

The crypto tycoon turned likely fugitive on the run reached out to Musk in March of this year, the report says, through William MacAskill from FTX’s Future Fund philanthropic arm.

Conversations between law-enforcement officials in the two countries have recently intensified, as they probe what led up to cryptocurrency firm FTX’s meltdown. He has reportedly been cooperating with Bahamian authorities, according to one source.

Poland’s Central Bank Forecasts Double-Digit Inflation Until 2024

Poland’s central bank (NBP) has forecast that inflation in 2022 will be 14.5 percent, fall to 13.1 percent in 2023, and decrease to 5.9 percent in 2024. The bank’s inflation target of 2.5 percent is only likely to be realized in 2025.

According to Statistics Poland (GUS), in September of this year, the rate of inflation in Poland reached 17.2 percent, while the October figure was 17.9 percent.

According to NBP’s November report on inflation, the current rise in the rate of inflation can be largely attributed to the increase in food and energy prices caused by the war in Ukraine and a massive increase in money printing by global central banks during Covid-19. The rise in these costs meant that input costs also rose, forcing companies to hike the prices they charge consumers.

Overall, the price of food has jumped 40 percent compared to last year, and certain products, such as milk and meat, have risen even more, according to the German Federal Statistical office.

Breaking: Antifa Member Found Not Guilty of Robbery in Andy Ngo Attack Case

A Portland, Oregon judge on Tuesday found Rose City Antifa member John Colin Hacker not guilty of violently stealing the phone of journalist Andy Ngo.

Hacker waived his right to a jury trial at the Multnomah County Circuit Court. He was facing a third-degree felony robbery charge for allegedly pouring water on Ngo and snatching his phone at a 24 Hour Fitness Gym on May 7, 2019.

Deputy District Attorney Maggie Burgess says Hacker’s actions were part of an ongoing harassment campaign targeting Ngo, who testified on the stand for more than an hour. She asked Ngo if he was nervous to be in the courtroom. Ngo responded, “Yes because I’m in the presence of Mr. Hacker,” who sat quietly next to his defense attorneys.

The encounter at the gym was recorded by Ngo on his cell phone more than three years ago, and was finally played in court. The shaky video is less than 30 seconds long, but prosecutors say it’s a key piece of evidence showing Hacker approaching Ngo, grabbing the device, and yelling, “I will break your f*cking phone.”

FBI Contractor Spied on GOP Congressman to Protect Muslim Brotherhood

by Daniel Greenfield

The death of Qatari operative Jamal Khashoggi has been the subject of front page headlines, press conferences, a documentary, and speeches by top figures including Joe Biden.

Qatar employing an ex-CIA officer who set out to spy on a Republican congressman to help protect the Muslim Brotherhood has received virtually no coverage in the media.

The Washington Post, which platformed Khashoggi and labored to turn the old friend of Osama bin Laden into a martyr, did not feel that Qatar spying on a congressman was worth more coverage than rerunning the AP’s wire story. The New York Times didn’t even do that much.

The AP’s story alleged that Qatar employed Kevin Chalker, a former CIA officer, and his company, Global Risk Advisors, to target opponents of the Islamic terror state which has ties to everything from 9/11 to Hamas to the Taliban. That included “pitching a sprawling covert influence operation to damage the reputations of U.S. officials perceived as Qatar’s enemies.”

One of those “enemies” of the Islamic terror state may have been Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart…

Ill-Exit? Movement to Create a New State in Southern Illinois Gains Momentum

A growing list of Illinois counties disenfranchised with the goings-on in Cook County have voted in nonbinding resolutions to leave Illinois and form a new state.

Residents in three more counties — Brown, Hardin and a portion of Madison County — voted in favor of a nonbinding resolution allowing their county board to explore the possibility of leaving the state, bringing the total to 27. In all three counties, close to 75% of residents were in favor of the idea.

The driving force behind the referendums was to allow the county board of each area to coordinate with other county boards to explore the possibility of leaving Illinois because of the influence that Chicago and Cook County have on the state’s political decisions.

Key House Investigator Fears Feds Used Grants as Hush Money to Keep COVID Origins Quiet

The top Republican House investigator says his team has uncovered evidence suggesting federal health officials used grant dollars to keep private scientists on script and have them deny COVID-19 originated with a lab accident despite scientific evidence to the contrary.

Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), the likely chairman of the House Oversight Committee if the GOP wins control of the House, told Just the News on Monday night that his investigators have evidence showing that even though Dr. Anthony Fauci was warned the virus likely originated from a lab leak in Wuhan, China, he constructed, with the aid of federally funded private scientists, a counternarrative that COVID-19 evolved naturally from animals.

“Everyone in the medical community backed up Dr. Fauci, and what we now know is they were receiving a lot of grant dollars,” Comer said Monday during a wide-ranging interview on the “Just the News, No Noise” television show.

Michigan Parents Sue District Over ‘X-Rated’ Sexually Explicit Books in School Library

Parents in a Michigan suburb are taking legal action against their children’s public school for allowing sexually explicit books into the school library, despite repeated calls for their removal.

The lawsuit comes one month after an October meeting was cut short by school administrators when a group of angry parents first confronted the board with their concerns, questioning the school’s process for determining if a book is appropriate for the school library.

Teach the Constitution: Democrat Attorney Who Halted Hochul’s Quarantine Camp Regulation

Authored by Jan Jekielek and Masooma Haq via The Epoch Times (emphasis ours)

In what she has called a David versus Goliath battle, New York real estate lawyer Bobbie Anne Cox sued Governor Kathleen Hochul for issuing directives mandating quarantine for people exposed to or infected with highly contagious diseases such as COVID-19. The directives, dubbed “quarantine camp regulations,” have been compared to laws that relocated Japanese during World War II without due process. Cox won the lawsuit on the grounds that Hochul’s regulation was unconstitutional.

In a recent interview on Epoch TV’s American Thought Leaders, Cox told host Jan Jekielek that it’s crucial Americans learn about the U.S. Constitution so that they can prevent similar acts by state and federal governments.

University of Idaho Homicide Victims Believed Stabbed to Death in ‘Isolated, Targeted Attack’: Police

No suspects in the University of Idaho attack are in custody as of Tuesday morning

The four University of Idaho students who became the targets of what police are now calling an “isolated, targeted” attack over the weekend were apparently stabbed to death, according to authorities.

Police in Moscow, Idaho, on Sunday initially responded to reports of an unconscious individual on King Road around noon and located the four deceased students upon arrival.

Their deaths have been ruled homicides, and while “no weapons have been located, based on preliminary information, investigators believe that an edged weapon such as a knife was used” in the attack, the Moscow Police Department said in a Tuesday morning statement.

Police do not have any suspects in custody as of Tuesday.

[…]

The students’ autopsies are scheduled to be completed later this week, at which point police will” hopefully provide more definitive information on the exact cause of the deaths,” MPD said.

Police added that “based on information from the preliminary investigation, investigators believe this was an isolated, targeted attack and there is no imminent threat to the community at large.”

Watch: DeSantis Punches Back at Trump: ‘Go Check Out the Scoreboard’

Fresh off his midterm election win, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) responded to recent comments made by former President Donald Trump saying he won more votes in the 2020 election than DeSantis received this time.

“One of the things I have learned in this job, when you’re leading, when you’re getting things done, you take incoming fire. That’s just the nature of it,” DeSantis said at a news conference in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, on Tuesday.

DeSantis said he doesn’t think any other governor was attacked more during his first term by “corporate media.”

“All of that is just noise, and really what matters is, are you leading? Are you getting in front of issues? Are you delivering results for people, and are you standing up for folks? And if you do that, none of that stuff matters,” DeSantis added.

“At the end of the day, I would just tell people to go check out the scoreboard from last Tuesday night,” DeSantis said. “The fact of the matter is, it was the greatest Republican victory in the history of the state of Florida.”

DeSantis also pointed to the wins by Republicans statewide.

“We swept in supermajorities in the Florida legislature,” he said. “We have 85 Republicans out of 120 in our state House. We’ve never had that many before. We have 28 senators out of 40 that are Republicans.”

‘We Have Rewritten the Political Map’: How the GOP Turned Florida Into a Red State

Aaron Bean has seen a lot during his more than two-decade career in Florida politics. The Republican won his first state House campaign during Florida’s razor-tight presidential contest in 2000, and he went on to serve in the legislature under four different GOP governors before his election to the U.S. House last week.

But even a grizzled Sunshine State political veteran such as Bean had not witnessed the level of success his party enjoyed during Tuesday’s midterms. Republicans dominated up and down the ballot, a resounding success that cemented Florida’s transformation from the nation’s premier swing state to a conservative stronghold. “We not only won this election,” Governor Ron DeSantis (R.) said during his victory speech Tuesday night, “we have rewritten the political map.” That rewriting, top party officials and strategists say, is attributable to three primary factors: years of effective and popular governance, an influx of new residents seeking freedom from stringent COVID restrictions, and a large-scale minority voter outreach effort.

Day 23 Recap of Emergencies Act Hearings

RCMP had a plan to clear Convoy but did not communicate to government

On Day 23 of the Emergencies Act hearings, documents revealed that RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki had a plan to clear Freedom Convoy protesters from Ottawa without the use of the never-before-used Act but it was never communicated to cabinet prior to the invocation of the Act.

Commission lawyers focused their examination of Lucki on her communication with the federal government throughout the protest to determine whether the RCMP had exhausted all available law enforcement tools prior to the invocation and whether that had been clearly communicated to cabinet.

Austria: Klimt Gets Splashed With “Oil” In Latest Climate Protest

This morning, November 15, the climate emergency activism group Letzte Generation’s Austrian branch took to the Leopold Museum in Vienna for another demonstration in the recent wave of substance-based attacks on revered masterpieces. One activist splattered the protective glass covering Gustav Klimt’s “Death and Life” (1915) with a viscous, oily black liquid. The same group made the news last month after smearing mashed potatoes on Claude Monet’s “Grainstacks” (1890) in the Barberini Museum in Germany.

Despite strict security precautions at the Leopold Museum, activists of Letzte Generation were able to sneak in the black liquid through a hot water bottle hidden underneath their clothing. One activist was quickly apprehended by a museum guard after splashing the black substance over the painting, while another activist took the opportunity to glue themselves to the protective glass.

EU Admits Sanctions Didn’t Stop Russia, But They’ll Still Continue the Policy

The European Union never expected sanctions to stop Russia from waging its war in Ukraine, but the policy of sanctions will still continue, said EU foreign affairs head Josep Borrell.

Iranian Brothers Allegedly Spied on Sweden

Two Iranian-born brothers have been indicted for selling vast amounts of classified information — of an extremely sensitive nature — to the Russian intelligence agency GRU. For the Armed Forces and the Security Police, it will be extra embarrassing because the brothers held several important positions in the most secret parts of the Swedish security apparatus.

The two Iranian-born brothers Peyman Kia, 42, and Payam Kia, 35, have been in custody for a year after they were suspected of sharing large amounts of top secret information from the Security Police and the Armed Forces with Russia.

The two brothers, who were hired as a result of a “diversity investment”, are now charged with gross espionage after potentially making millions of kroner by selling out Sweden.

Poland Seizes Russia’s Gazprom Assets

Minister of Development and Technology Waldemar Buda has acted on advice of the Internal Security Agency (ABW) to take over the shares owned by Gazprom in the EuRoPol Gaz company. EuRoPol is the owner of the Polish part of the Yamal-Europe gas pipe network.

Up until now, Gazprom owned 48 percent of the shares, with 48 percent owned by PGNiG and 4 percent by PKN Orlen.

The government decided to take the assets belonging to Gazprom into receivership on the grounds of national security. This is a logical consequence of the fact that Gazprom is on the list of sanctioned companies; also, the Polish Ministry of the Interior had recommended freezing Gazprom’s assets in EuRoPol Gaz.

UK: William Warrington: Man Accused of Harassing Kate Moss Admits Stabbing Parents to Death After Fleeing Psychiatric Unit

The 42-year-old ran his mother over before cutting her throat. He then drove to his father’s home and stabbed him to death.

A mentally ill man, who was accused of harassing supermodel Kate Moss, has been detained indefinitely for stabbing his divorced parents to death after fleeing a psychiatric unit.

William Warrington launched the attacks on his father Clive, 67, and his 73-year-old mother Valerie hours apart at their homes in Gloucestershire on 2 March.

The 42-year-old from Cheltenham denied two counts of murder but admitted to manslaughter by reason of diminished responsibility.

He has now been made the subject of a hospital order without limit of time under Sections 37 and 41 of the Mental Health Act.

Warrington killed his parents after believing he had been sent messages from the government, the secret services and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Bristol Crown Court heard.

He had been voluntarily detained at the Wotton Lawn mental health unit in Gloucester after being arrested for attacking a housemate.

Unknown to staff, on the evening of 1 March he left the unit and got into a taxi he had booked that morning and went to Bourton-on-the-Water in the Cotswolds.

He was reported missing shortly before midnight.

Warrington broke into his mother’s home and attacked her as she slept — gouging her eyes with his fingers, dragging her body outside to the lawn and running her over with her car, before finally cutting her throat.

He then drove to his father’s home where neighbours were woken by shouting and called police.

“They heard Clive Warrington shouting, pleading for help and asking, ‘Why are you doing this?’,” said Anna Vigars KC, prosecuting.

“While they were making the call they heard the other man calling Clive Warrington a ‘c***’ and saying, ‘I am really going to enjoy this’.”

Police arrived at Mr Warrington’s home and found his body covered in blood and his son was arrested a short time later.

Wales: ‘You F***ing Headcase’: Angry Passer-by Clashes With Protesters Chained to Bank in Cardiff

A passer-by aimed angry criticism at Extinction Rebellion (XR) activists in Cardiff city centre as the climate protest group occupied Barclays bank. Seven XR members had chained themselves to the interior of the bank in St David’s Way at around 12pm on Monday to protest its funding of fossil fuels.

One man walking past the protest at 3.40pm stopped to criticise the demonstrators. He told David, a 36-year-old XR member from west Cardiff, that the group was causing “chaos”. By this point police had already used bolt cutters to remove all seven of the chained protesters and marched them into police vans.

David, who was supporting the protest with placards opposing Barclays’ investment in fossil fuels, told the passer-by: “The police have caused it [the chaos].” But the man replied: “No, you’ve caused the chaos.”

Pointing at the five police vans on the scene, the passer-by continued: “If you weren’t here, they wouldn’t be here would they? You f***ing headcase.” David responded: “They don’t need to be here.”

Biden Says “Unlikely” Missile That Hit Poland Was Fired From Russia

Update (2100ET): So much for Russia almost starting World War 3 (even if under the guise of a false flag). As we noted earlier (see below), even pro-Ukraine accounts noted that the S-300 SAM that fell in Poland was a Ukrainian one. And while Biden will never admit that Ukraine nearly started war with Poland (as much as the deep state via its AP connections or the Ukraine president would have wanted Russia to get the blame), moments ago Biden explicitly said that based on preliminary information, it is “unlikely” that the rocket strike in Poland originated in Russia. Oops.

“There is plenty of information to contest that. I don’t want to say until we completely investigate. It’s unlikely in the minds of [sic] the trajectory that it was fired from Russia. But we’ll see.”

So if it was not fired by Russia, where was it fired from?

France to Expel 44 Migrants From Ocean Viking Rescue Ship, Says French Interior Minister

Forty-four of the asylum seekers on board the Ocean Viking rescue vessel that docked in the French port of Toulon on Friday will soon be expelled from the country, Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin told French lawmakers on Tuesday.

Speaking to France’s National Assembly, Darmanin revealed that of the 234 passengers rescued in the Mediterranean by the humanitarian ship, 44 had their asylum request refused and would be returned to their country of origin “as soon as their condition of health allows it.”

Victor Boiteau, a journalist at the Libération newspaper tweeted: “At the Assembly, Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin announced that among the 234 migrants received in Toulon, 44 were recognized as minors. 60 can apply for asylum, 44 cannot. Those who can will be relocated to 11 European countries.”

Remix News previously reported that of the 234 people on board the ship, just 21 were women. It was also initially reported that 81 minors were on the boat, with the revision suggesting that a number of those claiming to be minors were in fact over the age of 18.

    Are vaccines safe and effective?

We have examined the toxic content of vaccines, the dubious behaviour of the vaccine industry and government authorities, the many examples of serious harm caused to hundreds of thousands of people and the mediocre effectiveness of vaccines still administered and recommended today. In conclusion, can we say that vaccines are both safe and effective?

My personal answer to the question is no, and I do not intend to vaccinate my future children. However, despite all these factors, there are likely to be some situations where vaccination is the right thing to do, and I believe it is the right of each parent to make that decision for themselves.

I am deeply concerned about the efforts of the vaccine industry and the CDC to systematically erode our right to choose not to vaccinate. Lobbyists are working tirelessly to remove exemptions that allow children to attend school without receiving all of the vaccines recommended in the vaccination schedule, and there are plans to require adults to be vaccinated in order to board airplanes or even be in public places.

These attempts to force all US citizens to be vaccinated will only succeed because of a lack of information. If you found this information helpful,
please share it with anyone you care about.

  2. The missile in Poland We know exactly where it came from. Yugoslavia: people waiting to get bread from bakery. A missile hit them. Immediately a British expert in explosives lifted samples and examined them. The stupid soldier concluded that the writing on the missile belonged not to Serbian army but to Kosovars. What a horrible discovery. How can you make such a mistake. Bill Clinton after having a few minutes away from Lewinsky came on TV and ordered the stupid British soldier go home to be reeducated in telling Orwellian Truth.

We know who destroyed the Gas pipe. Dare anyone mention the truth. Say it and you are dead when cameras are not working.

Enmity with Russia is necessary to detract the general attention and to postpone the civil war just a few months.

No matter what eventually NATO will join not only send weapons. That is the ultimate goal. NATO wants Russia nay, lures and forces Russia to do sth. to justify NATOs anihilation war against Russia. The ultimate goal. Zelensky has no choice bu to obey.

  3. Sperm count issue I believe is related to all processed food containing soy which has phytoestrogens. They are called “soy boys” in Thailand for a reason. I read research a few years ago on the effect of soy on male reproduction and sent it to Health Dept. They replied that lots was eaten in Asia and they still have lots of children. That didn’t sound very scientific to me. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18650557/ Read the research papers on google scholar.
Don’t eat processed foods as they ALL contain soy to boost protein content.

Men need to eat red meat. That’s why the WEF, plant based diet and eating bugs is a bigger threat than you appreciate as it will make men sterile.

  4. It has been reported on the BBC (make of that what you will) that the missile was an S300. This is an anti-aircraft missile, but the Russians have been using them in ground attacks. The Ukrainians also have them, but use them in an AA role to shoot down Russian incoming. So we cannot know who fired it, but I think I am safe to say the target was not a village in Poland.
