Giorgia Meloni Confronted by LGBTQ Activist

Giorgia Meloni, the leader of the anti-immigration party Fratelli d’Italia and likely the next Italian prime minister, has demonstrated that she is a class act. When she was confronted on stage at a campaign rally by an LGBTQ activist, she didn’t duck for cover and hurry off the stage while her bodyguards hustled the interloper away, which is what you would expect from most politicians. Instead she motioned to the bodyguards to hold back while she engaged the fellow calmly and respectfully.
