SEC Alleges Market Manipulation, Charges 3 Men With Fraud, In $100 Million New Jersey Deli Scheme

Back in April of 2021, we highlighted when fund manager David Einhorn pointed out a single New Jersey deli that was trading with an insane market cap of over $100 million as one of the hallmarks of the bubble the market was in. Einhorn wrote:

“Strange things happen to all kinds of stocks. Last year, on one day in June, the stocks of about a dozen bankrupt companies roughly doubled on enormous volume. Recently, the Wall Street Journal reported a boom in penny stocks.

Someone pointed us to Hometown International (HWIN), which owns a single deli in rural New Jersey. The deli had $21,772 in sales in 2019 and only $13,976 in 2020, as it was closed due to COVID from March to September. HWIN reached a market cap of $113 million on February 8. The largest shareholder is also the CEO/CFO/Treasurer and a Director, who also happens to be the wrestling coach of the high school next door to the deli. The pastrami must be amazing. Small investors who get sucked into these situations are likely to be harmed eventually, yet the regulators — who are supposed to be protecting investors — appear to be neither present nor curious.”

And now, so goes the bubble, so goes the deli…

The Securities and Exchange Commission has officially put the kibosh on the fairly obvious scam, suing the deli and its related personnel for fraud in what is being called the “$100 million New Jersey deli scheme” by CNBC.

The Digital Dollar Will Not be Anonymous, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell Says

Despite privacy being one of the main concerns citizens have about central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), the heads of the United States (US) Federal Reserve and European Central Bank (ECB) have confirmed that their respective CBDCs will not be anonymous.

During an appearance at a Banque de France (Bank of France) event, the chairman of the Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell, said if the US were to pursue a central bank digital currency (CBDC), it would be “identity verified” and “not anonymous.”

Upwards of 1 Million Americans Could Lose Their Jobs Due to Interest Rate Hikes

The U.S. Federal Reserve’s efforts to combat inflation through interest hikes threaten to “destroy” at least 1 million jobs, economists warn.

Last week, the central bank approved the third straight 75 basis point rate hike and released quarterly economic forecasts showing that they anticipate unemployment to surge in the months ahead. Speaking at a press conference following the meeting, Fed chairman Jerome Powell said that higher interest rates could “give rise to unemployment.”

Facebook Censors Wife of FBI Whistleblower

Facebook may be actively snooping on private messages of select individuals, the New York Post alleges. The platform suspended the account of FBI whistleblower Steve Friend’s wife after she sent a message in response to a parent’s post asking if her husband needed support.

Friend made a whistleblower complaint with the Department of Justice inspector general, alleging that the FBI had been manipulating case-file management to inflate the threat of domestic terrorism and using excessive and illegal force against the Biden administration’s political opponents.

Fake Meat Sales Plummet on High Prices, Woke Messaging

A few years ago, life was good for the fake meat industry. Beyond Meat had been given vast amounts of real estate in grocery stores, and had scored a deal with Burger King to sell “Impossible” Whoppers. McDonald’s rolled out a McPlant burger (which was quietly shelved last month). Snarky woke advertisements permeated the airwaves and interwebs as plant-based ‘meats’ were on the rise. In fact, Beyond Meat waas valued at over $10bn in 2019, more than Macy’s or Xerox —with the most bullish investors claiming that plant-based meat would make up 15% of all meat sales by 2030.

Now, as Bloomberg reports, the fake meat industry is getting ground into hamburger — and that doesn’t include cannibalistic nose-biting execs, according to Deloitte Consulting, LLC.

Mayor Eric Adams’ Tent City Roundly Opposed by New Yorkers

New York is constructing its first set of tent cities for illegal migrants in the Bronx, with workers “getting stuff done” to lay out the welcome mat in an Orchard Beach parking lot, reports the New York Post.

Poles and beams were being erected by around 30 workers in what will eventually be five massive, heated tents to house 1,000 adults for as many as four days each while they are screened before entering the city’s shelter system.

Photos of Orchard Beach show rows of camping cots without mattresses, with some now wondering if it’s such a good idea to place migrants in the 1.1-mile strip along the Long Island sound. New York Mayor Eric Adams has said that the migrant influx could reach 75,000 people.

“Why send them to a low-income area?” Soto, 35, of Soundview, told the Post. “Why don’t they send them to the Hamptons? It’s elected people being petty and the people suffer.”

Baltic Pipe: Norway-Poland Gas Pipeline Opens in Key Move to Cut Dependency on Russia

Leaders from Poland, Norway and Denmark have attended a ceremony to mark the opening of the new Baltic Pipe, a key stage in the drive to wean Poland and Europe off Russian gas.

The pipeline will transport natural gas from the Norwegian shelf via Denmark and through the Baltic Sea to Poland. It is the centrepiece of a Polish strategy to diversify away from Russia that began years before Moscow’s February invasion of Ukraine triggered a global energy crisis.

The flows from Norway along with supplies via liquefied gas terminals are central to Poland’s plan. The country was cut off from Russian gas supplies in April, allegedly for refusing to pay in roubles.

Nord Stream: Explosions Recorded Prior to Discovery of Major Gas Leaks

Seismologists recorded what they think were explosions before gas began pouring out of two Russia-to-Germany pipelines under the Baltic Sea.

It’s unclear what caused the blasts but they are the result of “deliberate actions”, according to Denmark’s prime minister, Mette Frederiksen.

Her Polish counterpart, Mateusz Morawiecki, called it “an act of sabotage”.

Two leaks were discovered on Nord Stream 1, which Moscow shut down earlier this month in retaliation for Western sanctions over Russia’s war in Ukraine.

“This is not a small crack. It’s a really big hole,” said the Danish Energy Agency.

Norway, Germany, Brace for Insecurity After Nordstream Explosions

Norway will beef up its security at its oil and gas installations after three explosions rocked the Nordstream 1 & 2 pipelines, the country’s oil and energy minister said on Tuesday.

Germany’s economy minister also offered words of strength on Tuesday, saying that it knows how to—and can—defend its infrastructure.

This week, both Danish and Swedish authorities reported leaks from both the Nordstream 1 and 2 pipelines in the Baltic Sea. Neither pipeline was operational at the time, but contained gas, which is now leaking into the surrounding waters.

European officials and analysts say the leaks cannot be coincidental. A German official says evidence points to sabotage rather than a mere technical issue.

The Swedish National Seismology Center said that measurement stations in Sweden and Denmark had registered powerful subsea blasts.

Seismograph Spiked Twice on Day of Baltic Pipeline Leaks — Germany’s GFZ

BERLIN, Sept 27 (Reuters) — A seismograph on the Danish island of Bornholm twice recorded spikes representing earth tremors on Monday, the day on which the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines underwent dramatic falls in pressure, German geological research centre GFZ said.

The seismograph recorded near-silence until 0003 GMT (2am local time) when there was a spike representing a tremor in the earth followed by a continuous hissing waveform. The pattern repeated itself at 1700.

European politicians and security experts have suggested that the pipeline rupture near Bornholm could have been caused by sabotage. GFZ declined to be drawn on whether the tremors recorded could have been the result of an explosion.

“There was a spike and then regular noise,” said GFZ spokesperson Josef Zens. “We cannot say if that could be gas streaming out.”

Nord Stream 2 was first reported to have depressurised on Monday afternoon. The depressurisation in the Nord Stream 1 pipeline was reported in the early evening, shortly after the second of the two spikes.

India: Mumbai: An Angry Muslim Husband Killed His Hindu Wife as Refusing to Wear Burqa

Fanatic Mohammad Iqbal Sheikh kills his Hindu wife Rupali for refusing to wear burqa and not following the Muslim customs; arrested by Mumbai Police.

Preeti Chapalgaonkar | HENB | Mumbai | Sept 27, 2022:: The fanatic Muslim husband killed his Hindu wife by slitting her throat with a knife for not following Muslim customs and wearing a burqa. Then absconded from the scene. But soon the Tilak Nagar police of Mumbai arrested him. Currently, the police are interrogating the accused husband.

In Mumbai, Maharashtra, a Muslim husband killed his 23-year-old wife by slitting her throat with a knife in public. The case happened in the Tilak Nagar area. It is being told that Rupali was Hindu, whereas, her husband Mohammad Iqbal Sheikh is Muslim. Both had a love marriage three years ago. Both have a son. Iqbal and his family always forced Rupali to follow Muslim customs and wear burqa etc. But Rupali did not agree to it.

There was often a fight between the two on this matter, due to which Rupali started living apart from Iqbal. However, the two often talked on the phone. On Monday, Iqbal called Rupali to meet as usual. But, the two began to quarrel again about many matters. In anger, Rupali talked then about getting a divorce.

At first Iqbal started convincing him by referring to his son. But when Rupali insisted on divorce, Iqbal dragged Rupali to the street. Then he cut his throat with a knife, which killed Rupali on the spot. Hearing Rupali’s scream, people started gathering there. In a moment, Iqbal ran away from the scene as soon as he saw the people coming around.

When people informed the police, the police reached the spot as soon as the information was received. Rupali’s body was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. The police immediately started looking for the accused and arrested Iqbal after a while.

In the police interrogation, Iqbal told that this was his second marriage. Before this he had a marriage. But Iqbal divorced him when he did not have children from his first wife. Then three years ago he married a Hindu girl Rupali. Rupali had a son with Iqbal. But Rupali separated from him a few days ago. She often fought him. On Monday he went to convince her. Even then she started fighting him, which angered him and he killed Rupali by slitting her throat with a knife. This was the cool narration made by the accused before the police.

On the other hand, Rupali’s sister says that Iqbal has killed Rupali because he was forcing her to follow Muslim customs and wear burqa and Iqbal and his family used to torture upon Rupali on a regular basis.

Tilak Nagar police inspector Vilas Rathore said that the incident happened on Monday night around 10 o’clock. Accused Iqbal Sheikh killed his 23-year-old wife by slitting her throat with a knife. At present, the accused is being interrogated. Also, the real reasons for the murder are also being investigated.

It’s not any another exception to reveal the end result of a Hindu woman’s fate who loved and married a Muslim man. Marriage to a Muslim man always bears a high risk to be separated through triple talaq, immense torture according to Quranic dictum meant for the women and finally to meet a horrific death matured by her dangerous counterparts.

Excusive Interview: The Russians Gained Control of Several African Countries ‘Because France Shot Itself in Both Feet, ‘ Says French Expert on Africa

Born in Morocco during the French protectorate, Bernard Lugan worked at Rwanda’s University of Butare from 1972 to 1982. After moving back to France in the 1980s, he held a chair at the Jean Moulin University in Lyon and until recently, before his retirement, he taught at the École de Guerre officers’ school and the Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan military academy. He was an expert witness for the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda from 2002 to 2012, producing several reports. He is the author of an online monthly magazine called “L’Afrique Réelle” (The Real Africa) and has written a number of books, the latest of which, published in 2022, is entitled “Comment la France est devenue la colonie de ses colonies” (How France has become a colony of its colonies).

How did the Russians manage to replace the French in Mali with their Wagner Group?

The truth is the French have put themselves out of Mali on their own, just as they had already done in the Central African Republic. There has been an accumulation of French political errors and this is what I have been explaining for years on my blog and in my books. Nature abhors a vacuum and in Mali, as in the Central African Republic, the Russians came up because the French shot themselves in both feet.

IQ levels in Sweden are currently falling sharply, according to the results of recurring PISA measurements.
Citizens’ IQ best predictor of countries’ prosperity

Published 20 September 2022 in Fria Tider

    SCIENCE.
A country’s average IQ level has an “extremely strong” correlation with its GDP per capita, a new British study shows.

About 70 percent of the differences in wealth between the world’s countries can be linked IQ level as the sole explanatory factor.

    – We found that IQ level was the most reliable predictor of economic growth with the highest impact, compared to more than 70 other variables drawn from the growth literature, says researcher Emil O. W. Kirkegaard of Ulster University.

“Low IQ explains why immigrants don’t integrate”

According to the study, there are also other indicators that correlate with high prosperity, such as access to natural resources, social institutions, cultural development and so on. Several of these indicators were strongly correlated with prosperity, but none was as important as the IQ level of the population.

Perhaps surprisingly for the general public, there are strong doubts about whether democracy improves or worsens economic growth in a country. This study does not answer that question either, but it has long been known among researchers that the situation is highly unclear.

    – As early as 1993, about half of the studies showed that democracy led to higher economic growth, while almost as many argued the opposite, says Kirkegaard.

In recent years, IQ levels in Sweden have fallen sharply, as evidenced by lower maths and other skills in the country’s PISA results, but according to a study by the Institute for Business Research, this is entirely due to immigration, i.e. the very high levels of subsidised immigration from low-IQ Third World countries.

    • The Bell Curve is real and it shows exactly what happens when you bring in the 3rd world, it dumbs down the population to it’s lowest common denominator.

  2. We west is mentally ill. “low-IQ Third World countries”. “We don’t need no stinkin’ you name it.

  3. The world has become so far left and unhinged that any position that is remotely reasonable is considered “far right.
