Gates of Vienna News Feed 8/27/2022

Three Dutch commandos suffered gunshot wounds in Indianapolis in the wee hours of this morning. The incident occurred in front of the hotel where the soldiers were staying. Two of them are in the hospital in critical condition.

In other news, at a press conference in Alberta, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that global warming makes it easier for Russia to attack Canada.

We’re From the Climate Police, and We’re Here to Help You

The New World Order is not going to build itself. And the cooperation of the lumpenproletariat cannot be assumed, so a robust force of trained uniformed thugs will be necessary in case truncheons have to be wielded or climate criminals need to be interrogated.

It least that’s the way it looks in France. Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Report24:

Interrogation rooms, weapons: France hires 3,000 police officers for “Climate protection”

French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin has announced that an Armed Climate Protection Force will be added to the French police force. However, it is not clouds or invisible gases that are to be fought, but people. Critics suspect that the new interrogation rooms are to be used to intimidate and re-educate those who think differently.

According to the public service broadcaster ORF, the message arrived to the effect that the “eco-police” should primarily investigate arsonists.

So that’s a good thing, isn’t it? The question is, why can’t these core tasks of regular police units be performed by the existing troops? They also have, undoubtedly, sufficient facilities for questioning suspects. If one remembers various ugly scenes from France, a special unit against migrant violence and parallel structures would probably be more appropriate. There is just one catch — foreign clans are fighting back in France with weapons of war, while people with wrong opinions, mostly as “lone fighters”, can easily be arrested and deported.

“It will be a revolution” — Hardship against “troublemakers”

The fact that it may not just be regular fire investigators may be inferred from the words of the Minister of the Interior, who told the weekly Journal du Dimanche that this represents “a revolution”.

Significantly, the article was headlined: “We Must Be Tough on the Troublemaker Minority”. Anyone who has the totalitarianism of green politics in mind can already roughly imagine what is to be understood by a “Green Revolution” by force of arms. At the same time, the minister simulates harshness against criminal immigrants, probably to appease all sides.

Brussels wants supremacy over eco-troops

In Brussels, meanwhile, they would like every EU country to have such a force. However, it should no longer be subordinate to the respective nation state but to the US-controlled globalists in the EU headquarters. The euphemism for the project is “Centralized Civil Protection Force to Combat Climate Change”. The climate will certainly change completely if dissenters are dragged into interrogation rooms at gunpoint in order to convert them there — right? The EU is citing the fact that “the impact of climate change on EU member states is increasing” — which, according to EU Crisis Management Commissioner Janez Lenarcic, requires intervention from Brussels. But there is also some criticism that the bureaucrats would now use any excuse they like to seize more power.

“These European bureaucrats are not the solution but the cause of many of the problems the EU is facing and the deeply damaging energy crisis is just one proof of that,” said Cristian Terhes, Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for Romania.”

‘Any Excuse to Grab More Power’: EU Wants a Centralized ‘Civil Protection Force’ to Fight Climate Change — Breitbart London (@BreitbartLondon) August 17, 2022”

Plans of the World Economic Forum (WEF) are usually implemented first by countries with leaders who have been trained in the Young Global Leaders program or are closely associated with it. Corresponding plans from Canada became known. Plans for the eco-police stations were also published there. There are secret service rooms and interrogation rooms.

Stop Waiting For WW3

The following essay by our Hungarian correspondent László is a follow-up to this post from last March.

Stop Waiting For WW3

It’s Agenda 2030.

by László

I was reading an article about WW2 in a Hungarian media outlet the other day, when I bumped into this paragraph:

“The mission of the US 15th Air Force was, among other things, to destroy and cripple the oil refineries and military installations in Hungary, as well as the transportation infrastructure, especially the railways. These objectives were maintained until March 1945. […]”

And it suddenly struck me that this is a common point in WW2 and Agenda 2030: the enemy targets oil supplies and the transportation infrastructure. The various air force(s) often bombed the oil refineries of their enemies in WW2, because oil was (and still is) the lifeblood of the economy and the army.

In general, targeting energy is an Agenda 2030 tactic. As SDG Report puts it:

“The war on energy is ramping up as the Davos crowd and World Economic Forum seeks to implement UN Agenda 2030 restrictions on oil, gas, coal and natural gas fuel sources all under the guise of climate change and green energy.”

Indeed. And also under the guise of “war” in Ukraine and the allegedly looming threat of “WW3”.

And if you have any doubts that oil is in “their” crosshairs, look at this post over at Vlad Tepes, where you can watch a far-left terrorist group called Just Stop Oil destroy petrol stations and vandalize an art gallery in London — apparently without fear of retribution.

No need to say that the war on oil is the war on life.

The globalist propaganda is trying to convince us that we are teetering on the verge of WW2-style kinetic warfare, in order to scare us and make us go along with Agenda 2030. We are expected to sign off on our own destruction. In other words, this is the end game of the assisted suicide of the West that has been going on for a long time.

This is probably an aim of the Soros-propaganda that I call “WW3 psyop”. “They” want to make us believe that we must anxiously be waiting for the horrors of WW2 to return — thus creating an excuse for making us accept the real WW3 that is ongoing.

Criminal Lunacy All Across the West

In the following video Paul Weston discusses the dramatic increase in excess deaths in the UK beginning in early 2021. The explosion in mortality stands in stark contrast to the “plague year” of 2020, which was much less deadly:

Party Like It’s 2015

The situation on the border between Hungary and Serbia has deteriorated to the point that it looks like we will soon be seeing a reprise of the Great Migration Crisis of 2015.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Report24:

Illegal migration: Hungary’s southern border “under siege” — soon scenes like 2015?

The number of illegal entry attempts into Hungary has increased by 90% this year compared to the same period in 2021. Apparently the Balkan route is moving again. Will we soon experience a reprise of scenes like in 2015?

In Hungary, “siege-like conditions” prevail on the southern border with Serbia, as Balázs Orbán, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s political director, said on his Facebook page. According to Balázs Orbán, the number of border violators in Hungary has increased by more than 90%. He explained that the food crisis caused by the war is already showing its effects and illegal migration is increasing. As early as June, Budapest reported that the situation on the Balkan route was deteriorating again.

[Twitter link]

Balázs Orbán also shared some research in his contribution, according to which no fewer than 36 million people have fled their homes in Africa this year due to worsening economic and political instability, and many of them have already made their way to Europe.

One of the main destinations for migrants is Germany, which, according to critics, is already experiencing a population exchange similar to Austria’s as a result of the mass immigration that has been taking place for decades.

[Twitter link]

The political director explained that the new wave of migration has now reached the borders of Hungary: they are trying to cross the border using increasingly violent methods, and armed clashes have already erupted on the Serbian side, resulting in one person’s death. He added that border guards have arrested more than 150,000 border violators in this year alone, a more than 90% increase from 2021. Orbán added that the government has already started strengthening the country’s southern borders and is building a border hunting system.

[Twitter link]

The training of 200 contract border guards has started in Nyírbátor, whose task it will be to ensure the inviolability of the Hungarian state border and prevent illegal border crossings. The director concluded his speech with the words: “In the long run, however, only restoring peace can provide a solution, because only then can food shortages in developing countries be ended and another migration crisis avoided!”

Thai Premier Placed on Non-Active

The political situation in Thailand has once again become very entertaining. H. Numan sends this report on the latest goings-on.

Thai premier placed on non-active

by H. Numan

Thai politics is something to behold. The unassailable leader of today can suddenly disappear in a puff of smoke. He may be a police lieutenant-colonel, a general or dumbocratically elected. It doesn’t matter. Nothing lasts forever. Not even ‘retired’ general prime minister Prayuth Chan-o-cha. His demise was sudden. He has been taken away by… no, not the Grim Reaper. By the Constitutional Court.

Thailand has a coup-o-cracy. The preferred way to change governments is not by means of elections, but by a coup d’état. Thailand became ‘democratic’ in 1932. Before that, it was an absolute monarchy. Funnily enough, the king of that time, Rama VII, was reforming slowly towards a more democratic form of government. But not fast enough for his nephews. Like young progressives today, they wanted it all, right now! A coup was organized, and the kingdom became a ‘constitutional’ monarchy. The king no longer ruled, but reigned. His nephews did the ruling, and kicked out their uncles.

The king went to England for medical treatment, and wrote a letter back home to the government. “You know what you can do with your kingdom? Yup, and use some lubricant with that!” He remained in England until he died in 1941.

I’ve calculated that Thailand has had about the same number of coups from 1932 onward as The Netherlands has had elections. Roughly, one every four years. Some governments lasted longer, most lasted more briefly. Just about everybody has a go at it. The police (which in Thailand is a branch of the armed forces anyway), the army, the navy and the air force. Even civilians played the game of Junta once in a while.

I’ve been in Thailand for 25 years, and witnessed at least four coups and many more attempted coups. That’s excluding all the coup-by-court attempts that usually weren’t successful. Sometimes they are, and the result can be hilarious.

After a period of calm when Thaksin Sinawatra was democratically elected and coup-o-cratically removed from office, we had a bunch of somewhat democratic governments. One of them was led by Samak Sundaravej. His tenure was six months in 2008. His position seemed unassailable. He was utterly corrupt — a prerequisite in Thai politics — slippery as an eel, had the full support of the Democratic Party (they share the name, corruption and cronyism with your Democratic Party) and the army.

The opposition tried anything they could to get him ousted, in vain. It looked like he glued himself to his seat. However, Khun Samak had one weakness. He really liked cooking. That was his passion. A TV station invited him to do a cooking show on TV, and he accepted. The station paid him Bt. 2500 for it. That’s almost nothing, not even $70. However, it was a payment. The constitution (the 23rd, I think it was) clearly forbade government ministers to accepts any kind of monetary rewards outside his salary. Hey, said a backbencher. He’s accepting money. That’s illegal! The next day after the cooking show he was indicted and quickly forced to resign from politics. A prime minister forced to resign over cab fare to a cooking show!

Now we see something almost as hilarious. The current prime minister is Prayuth Chan-o-Cha. He couped his way into office in 2014. It was the usual same old, same old. A democratic government was too corrupt and hugely unpopular. The army had to move in to replace it. No other choice was possible. It was the first coup that got the support of the general population!

The Wayward Bus

As reported in last night’s news feed (see this InfoWars story, hat tip Reader from Chicago), a bus full of illegal migrants deliberately rammed a police car in Bulgaria, killing two policemen.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Salzburg24. The translator’s comments are in square brackets:

Smuggler bus crashes into police car in Bulgaria: two dead

Bus driver and passenger on the run

In the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Burgas, a man carrying 48 migrants crashed into a police car. Two officers were killed and the bus driver fled.

A bus packed with 47 illegal migrants crashed into a police car in the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Burgas early Thursday morning. Two officers aged 31 and 43 were killed. The refugees were unharmed, said Bulgarian Health Minister Assen Mejidiev. The driver of the bus is on the run. He and a passenger are being searched for, the minister said at a press conference on Thursday.

Traffickers with stolen bus on the way

“Initial investigations have shown that it was a deliberate collision with the police car,” said the chief prosecutor in the coastal city of Burgas, Georgy Chinev, about the course of events. The bus was stolen and was traveling with fake license plates. Before the accident, he sped past a traffic check twice without stopping. The passengers are mostly young men, but there were also women and children among them.

Two arrests in Bulgaria

The driver of the bus and another person who fled the scene of the accident were arrested around noon, the police in Burgas announced. Both men are Syrian citizens with refugee status in Bulgaria. Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev told the Bulgarian media that they organized the trip and traveled with them on the bus. At the scene of the accident, he declared that he would take decisive action against the gangs of people-smugglers. “They have declared war on us, and we will respond in the next few days with the full force of the law,” announced the minister. He wants to deport the smugglers by the end of next week and at the same time check all refugee centers in Bulgaria, because there are organized gangs of smugglers there. [No way, really? Now who would’ve thought?]

Interior minister sees problem with border police

Bulgaria’s interior minister sees the problem with the border police for allowing such a large group of illegal migrants to enter the interior of the country. Demerdzhiev did not rule out the possibility that border police officers were involved in the illegal migration business across the Bulgarian-Turkish border south of Burgas on the Black Sea. “We have relevant information,” said the interior minister. He again warned that migratory pressure on Bulgaria had increased “enormously” in recent weeks. He therefore demanded better technical equipment, including drones, for monitoring the border with Turkey. The border fence built in 2013/2014 is currently being renovated. Bulgaria’s border with Turkey is the only land route from the Middle East to Europe. Bulgaria is considered a transit country.

Jew-Hating Workers of the World Unite!

Jeremy Corbyn helped lead the Labour Party to ruin in the UK before resigning as party leader in 2020. In addition to being a hard-left zealot, Mr. Corbyn was a notorious Jew-hater. Having failed in the UK, he is now taking his act to Belgium.

Many thanks to Gary Fouse for translating this article from React Nieuws:

Labour Party Suspended “Anti-Semitic”* Jeremy Corbyn, main guest at Manifiesta hate festival

August 23, 2022

On September 17 and 18 the extreme left “Manifiesta” will take place in Ostend. This year the extreme leftist Jeremy Corbyn is the featured main speaker. Corbyn was the chairman of the British Labour Party from 2015-2020. He liked being photographed with the Stalin genocide flag a lot.

[Photo caption: Jeremy Corbyn with the Stalin genocide flag. Stalin murdered at least 25 million people.]

It is remarkable, however, that the PvdA [Dutch Labour Party] and other guests at the hate fest, such as, for, example, Tom Lanoye, present themselves as fighters against “anti-Semitism”. But let the latter be the reason why Jeremy Corbyn, after a thorough investigation, had to resign as Labour chairman.

Corbyn first became known through extensive collaboration with the Islamic Palestinian terror organizations, Hamas and Hezbollah. They conduct a political fight against Israel and the Jewish people, but also mix that fight with Muslim fundamentalism and the use of terror, including suicide attacks. The message is clear: All Jews must die. Parades are openly held featuring the Hitler salute. It can’t get any more clearly anti-Semitic.

[Photo caption: Palestinian supporters of Hamas giving the Hitler salute.]

No objection, however, for the Manifiesta guest Jeremy Corbyn. He invited supporters of Hamas to the British Parliament. Among them was a man who, in 2009, expressed full support for Hamas, and a man who, in 2004 declared that blowing yourself up in an Islamic suicide attack was “a noble thing”.

Within the Labour Party, Corbyn supported a culture of anti-Semitism between 2015-2020. People and elected officials of Jewish origin were bullied out of the party. Eventually, an official investigation was initiated by the “Equality and Human Rights Commission”, an independent organ set up by the Equality Act of 2006. After an extensive investigation, the commission determined in 2020 that employees of the Labour Party had, indeed, engaged in unlawful bullying and that 23 cases were proven involving inappropriate behavior in connection with anti-Semitism by Labour employees, including one by Corbyn personally. Based on that, Corbyn was suspended by Labour itself.

Tom Lanoye presents himself this week in HUMO (Belgian tabloid) as a fighter against anti-Semitism. Can we have a hearty laugh?

You Never Know When the Gun Might Go Off by Accident

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz seems to be following the Alec Baldwin playbook concerning the coming Long Hot Autumn in Germany. After all, nobody intends to shoot anybody, but we now know that guns sometimes go off, even when no one actually pulls the trigger…

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Report24. The translator’s comments are in square brackets:

Olaf Scholz: No one intends to give the order to shoot demonstrators

Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz was in Neuruppin (Brandenburg) yesterday evening [17 August] to answer questions from citizens. A question from the audience made it particularly clear how great the population’s fears about the coming Autumn and Winter are: a citizen asked whether there would be orders to shoot at demonstrators who were critical of the government.

Scholz’ answer was in no way reassuring: No one intends to… The Germans already know that.

Scholz was received in Neuruppin at the Citizens’ Dialogue with whistles and calls such as “Get lost!” and “Traitors!” Both the Left and the AfD had previously called for counter-demonstrations, according to media reports, around 300 protesters were said to have been present. However, the concerns of the population were also made abundantly clear in the dialogue. One of those present asked: “When people take to the streets again, will you give the order to shoot? Will the police who are here now be used against the population? We witnessed what close call it was here. The question is meant seriously.”

At this point, a “demonstrators will not be shot under any circumstances” would probably have been the least. Instead, Scholz seemed to prefer to model himself on the German Democratic Republic’s head of state Walter Ulbricht, who on June 15, 1961 made the memorable statement; “No one intends to build a wall!”. As a reminder: Two months later the Berlin Wall was up.

Literally, Scholz said: ”Nobody in this country intends to shoot demonstrators.” And that anyone who spreads such “horror tales” is a very bad propagandist. Time will tell. In any case, the response to his quote on social networks is anything but positive. At the latest, since his about-face in terms of compulsory vaccination, Scholz’s assurances — even if they are more convincing than those of yesterday evening — can be given little credence, as is well known.

The Revenge of the Moors

In Southern Europe the use of the “Moor’s Head” emblem or logo is widespread, for example in the flags of Corsica and Sardinia. The symbol refers to the centuries-long struggle to eject the Islamic invaders from the islands and littorals of Europe.

The following article from further north reports on the controversy surrounding a café in Germany called The Moor’s Head. The name is long-established, but has recently been targeted for cancellation by the woke brigades. Surprisingly, the restaurant is receiving widespread support from people who are sick of the ubiquitous PC bullying.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Junge Freiheit:

Despite hostilities: “Café Mohrenkopf” [Moor’s Head] sticks to the name

Ingolstadt

The host of the “Café Mohrenkopf” in Ingolstadt landed a viral hit with a Facebook post. His complaint about bad Google reviews from people who object to the name but have never been there has now been liked by more than 167,000 people. Almost 30,000 commented on the post and it was shared 10,000 times. And he affirmed: “For the umpteenth time: THE NAME STAYS!!!!

The innkeeper Claus Häring wrote about the bad reviews: “It annoys me. And it’s tremendous!!!” His employees did a “superb job, working their butts off for the café and our guests, cleaning, cooking, serving, keeping the café running, and they’re still in a good mood altogether “.

Now it’s raining 5-star reviews

The service is rated badly by some who “have never been to the café because the name is inappropriate.” He urges the whiners: “You’d better direct these negative things at me; after all I’m the bad guy, and not my employees.”

Google is now receiving masses of 5-star reviews for the “Café Mohrenkopf” — also from people who have never been there and openly write that they want to neutralize the negative reviews. One writes: “Please don’t give in to the hate-eating do-gooders who terrorize us!” Another formulates: “One would like to ban Karl May, the other the name Mohrenkopf. Even though it’s a nice café and a long-established name. The censorship is reminiscent of very bad times.” And another says: “Hopefully these brain-sick, red-green oafs don’t manage to get the name changed.” The café now has an average of 4.4 stars — an extremely high value, according to Google classified as “very good”.

Afterword from the translator:

I think it’s good that they didn’t fold and going to keep the name. Maybe these woke muddleheads should have a look where the name “Mohrenkopf” comes from? The term “Mohrenkopf” (also Othello or chocolate balls) is used for various small pastries. The term “Mohrenkopf” (head of a Moor) is a translation of the French Tête de Nègre and was first documented in Leipzig in 1892 . What a bunch of hopeless, deluded weirdoes they are, constantly looking for something to destroy because of their own prejudice.

Summertime

From across the pond — which is drying up now, and will soon be a puddle — our Dutch correspondent H. Numan sends a digest of the overlapping crises that current bedevil the political class in the Netherlands.

The government on summer vacation

Summertime

by H. Numan

Summertime, and the livin’ ain’t easy.
Fish are jumpin’ and the water is low…

I paraphrased George Gershwin’s song to fit our modern times. It’s summertime, and life behind the dikes is worrisome. I’ve got two news stories for you this time. Let’s start with the summertime scare.

We have to be scared into the desired global warming behavior. What used to be normal, a fun time, is now presented as a horror, evidence of global warming. Well, it’s just summer. A bit hot, that’s all. Nothing unusual. However, that is not how the Dutch media present it. Worry! Be afraid! The sky is falling!

The weather maps — you may have noticed it elsewhere, too — are intentionally rigged. In the past a weather map showed sea in blue and land in green. The weather was shown with symbols, plus the temperature. Nothing scary about it. That won’t do in our global warming times. So the weather map today is different. The map is red with temperatures as gradients of red, from light red to black. That’s better! Now people will be worried sick.

Next, a lot of attention is given to the Rhine River. It’s going to run dry, we’re told. Sorry to disappoint. Remember geography in 6th grade? Allow me to refresh your memory. “There are two types of rivers: glacier- and rain-fed rivers. Glacier-fed rivers tend to have less fluctuations. Whereas rain-fed rivers run highest in spring and autumn, after the melt and rains. During summer and winter they tend to have much less volume. Examples are the Rhine (glacier-fed) and Meuse (rain-fed) rivers.”

In other words: nothing to worry about. It’s completely normal for rivers to run low or dry during a warm summer. There is nothing unusual with the unusual. During summer, the Rhine always runs lower. The Meuse occasionally runs dry, or close to it. That’s not a sure sign of global warming. Just a hot summer.

The media also acts as an overly protective mother. People are warned to stay indoors. Which is fun, because Dutch houses are not designed for really hot weather and don’t have airco. Relax, take it easy. As long as you stay indoors. You’ve been locked up during Covid, you know the drill by now. Wear insanely strong sun blockers, if you have to go outside. Don’t forget to hydrate. Because global warming!

I’ve got (real) news for you, folks. Yes, the climate is changing. Nothing usual, it always does. But not as globalists tell you. The KNMI (Dutch weather bureau) keeps weather data religiously. Nothing will ever be deleted. But… they are more than happy to exclude what they don’t like, and sanitize the remainder so it fits the desired narrative. For example, they exclude temperature readings before 1890 in their calculations ‘as they are irrelevant’, that sort of thing. They don’t delete it, they merely ignore it. What’s left is data that proves global warming.

A Dutch scientist, Syp Wynia, had a look at KNMI data, but from a different angle. He looked at the prevailing wind direction over the last century and the consequences. His conclusion? The prevailing wind direction is now south-west most of the year. It used to be the prevalent direction during spring-summer-autumn. In autumn-winter, the wind changed to the northeast, bringing cold fronts from Russia.

Over the last 40 years, he found much less wind comes from the northeast. What are the consequences? Northeasterly winds bring cold dry weather. Southwesterly winds bring warm wet weather. During summer not much changed, but our winters are about 20% wetter than 40 years ago, and not as cold. Cold winters with snow and ice are now rare. Temperatures hover around freezing or a few degrees above zero. And it rains a lot more in winter. That raises the annual temperature considerably in coastal Europe. As you can see, no carbon emissions are involved. Actually, we have no idea why this happened. Even if we eventually discover why, that doesn’t mean we can change anything about it.

The next piece of news is our very wobbly cabinet. There isn’t just one crisis they have to survive. A plethora of crises has to be managed, right now. Tossing money at it or looking the other way won’t work this time. I doubt prime minister Rutte and his cabinet can do that. Here’s a selection of the most urgent problems. Not all of them, mind you. That list would be way too long:

1. Inflation is sky high and consumer trust at a record low.

Inflation is at the highest level in four decades, and consumer trust is completely gone. Everybody now realizes the worst is yet to come. Winter is coming!

2. Gas prizes are crazy high.

Not for the reason you think. Gas prizes are high everywhere; that’s not it. The reason is how the Dutch government charges for it. The Dutch natural gas rates are the highest in the world. But for Dutch consumers only. Belgians pay half the price the Dutch pay for natural gas. Where do they buy that cheaper gas? In Holland! The government hitched the prices for natural gas to the international oil prices. For Dutch only. Internationally they’re more than happy to give a very steep discount. That worked when the prices were low and we had plenty of gas. Now that we’re running out of it, and prices are higher than the Eiffel tower, it doesn’t. More than a million Dutch are staring at real poverty.

3. Not enough houses.
