Bank of England’s Bailey Warns UK Faces ‘Very Big’ Inflation Shock, Defends Historic Rate Hike

LONDON — The Bank of England on Thursday defended its decision to hike interest rates at the fastest clip in 27 years, saying the U.K. faces a “very big” shock to inflation.

BOE Governor Andrew Bailey said that the risks of high inflation becoming persistent had risen since the Bank’s previous meeting in June, prompting it to take “stronger action.”

“We’re facing a very big shock to inflation,” Bailey told CNBC’s Joumanna Bercetche. “Our action today was very, very clearly [that] we feel we’ve got to take stronger action.”

The BOE on Thursday raised interest rates by 50 basis points, taking borrowing costs to 1.75% in an ongoing bid to curb soaring inflation.

Democrats Are Turbo-Charging the IRS to Go After the Middle Class

The reconciliation package proposed by Democratic Sens. Joe Manchin and Chuck Schumer includes $80 billion in new funding for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that will allow the agency to set its sights on middle-class Americans.

Increases in IRS funding are laid out in Section 10301 of the 725 page “Inflation Reduction Act.” and the lion’s share of the funding — $45.6 billion — is earmarked for “enforcement,” including “litigation,” “criminal investigations,” “investigative technology,” and “digital asset monitoring.” Proponents argue that the funding will allow the IRS to bring in more than $200 billion in additional revenue from those under-reporting income, but skeptics like The Wall Street Journal editorial board argue that much of this funding will come straight out of middle-class and upper middle-class Americans’ wallets “because that’s where the money is.”

Taxpayers with adjusted gross incomes below $75,000 would ultimately shoulder an estimated $136 billion of the IRS’ proposed revenue increase within the Manchin-Schumer package, according to estimates that the Heritage Foundation’s senior tax policy analyst, Preston Brashers, shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Rogan Slams Biden Admin for “Gaslighting” Americans About Recession

Having seen the mainstream media rush to defend a clearly weakening economy, closing the ‘Overton Window’ on any mention of the ‘r-word’ — to the extent that one senior economist was fact-checked by Facebook for daring to utter the ‘r-word’ — pocaster Joe Rogan blasted the Biden administration for “gaslighting” the American people about the meaning of a recession after two consecutive quarters of economic contraction were reported last week.

During a podcast with Chris Williamson, the pair turned to the topic of the recent quarterly gross domestic product (GDP) report and the efforts of President Joe Biden’s entire administration (and every mainstream media useful idiot and tenured ivory tower economist) to deflect the recession label.

UK Heading for Worst Fall in Living Standards on Record, Reports Bank of England

The UK is facing a recession that will last more than a year, with the economy forecast to shrink in five consecutive quarters beginning in autumn for the first time since the global financial crisis of 2008-09, the Bank of England has warned.

The bleak prospect of negative growth is set to continue at least until the end of 2023, said the BoE. GDP is predicted to fall by 1.25% next year and 0.25% in 2024, according to the bank’s baseline forecast.

Inflation is predicted to peak at 13.3 per cent in the final three months of 2022, according to the Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC). Earlier, the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) rose by 9.4% in the 12 months to June 2022. It is now expected to consistently remain above 10% until the middle of next year.

Unprecedented Culling of Poultry Exacerbating Cost of Living Increases

A ‘unprecedented’ bird flu outbreak has made the cost of living crisis even worse according to experts who warn that the number of poultry culled has almost doubled since last season.

According to figures from the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), over 22 million cases have been reported in wild birds and poultry so far this season in 68 countries.

Of course this couldn’t possibly have been expected or planned even….

The Telegraph reports: In an effort to curb the outbreak, 94.2m farmed poultry have been killed and disposed of, compared to 54.4m last season. Before 2020, the number of birds culled to stem the spread of avian flu worldwide has only topped 15m twice.

Experts say the surge — which comes amid a cost of living crisis and mounting food insecurity, triggered by war in Ukraine and extreme weather — has further disrupted supply chains, contributing to higher prices.

4 Killed in Butler Twp. Shooting, Police Searching for Person of Interest

BUTLER TWP, Ohio (WDTN) — Four people were shot and killed in a Butler Township neighborhood near Dayton, Ohio on Friday morning.

Police were called to the 7200 block of Hardwicke Place around 11:30 a.m. on reports of shots fired.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found a total of four victims at multiple crime scenes suffering from gunshot wounds, said Butler Township Police Chief John Porter. All four of the victims died on the scene.

According to a family member on the scene, officers found two of the victims dead in a home on Hardwicke Place. The two were reportedly a mother and her 15-year-old daughter.

Police are seeking a person of interest in the shooting.

The person is 39-year-old Stephen Alexander Marlow. He is described as being 5-foot-11 and weighs 160 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing shorts and a yellow T-shirt.

His vehicle is a 2007 white Ford Edge SUV with the license plate number JES 9806.

If anyone sees Marlow, they are encouraged to call 911 immediately and do not approach him, as he is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Porter said police do not believe there to be any continued threat to the community, however, crews will continue to monitor the area in case Marlow returns. The Dayton Police bomb squad has also been called to ensure there are no other threats to neighborhood safety.

Alex Jones Ordered to Pay $45.2M to Sandy Hook Victim’s Family

Infowars founder Alex Jones must pay $45.2 million in punitive damages to the parents of a first-grader killed in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, a Texas jury ruled on Friday.

The amount is less than the $150 million sought by parents Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis, whose 6-year-old, Jesse, was one of the 19 children and six staff members killed in one of the deadliest school shooting in U.S. history. However, it is significantly more than the $2 million Jones said it would take to “sink” him and his company.

Are Christians Being Persecuted in America?

A new study by Lifeway Research found that more than half (54%) of the 1,005 Americans surveyed believe that religious freedom is eroding in the United States. Even more, 59%, said that the treatment of Christians and intolerance for their beliefs is getting worse.

What does one make of these statistics? Relevant Magazine—a Christian publication the tagline of which is “God, lifestyle, and progressive culture”—is a good place to start. Responding to these findings in a recent article, it gets it right by arguing that, whatever Christians in America may be experiencing, they are certainly not being persecuted the way their counterparts are in other nations around the world…

The “extreme persecution” meted out to Christians in nine of the absolute 11 worst nations in the world comes from Islamic oppression, or is occurring in Muslim majority nations. Similarly, the persecution Christians experience in 39 of the 50 nations on the World Watch List is also either from Islamic oppression or is occurring in Muslim majority nations.

That said, the Relevant article gets it wrong, very wrong, by minimizing what is happening in America.

As the Left Drives Out Many Good Police With it’s Policies — Crime Rises & Society Suffers

Since the bail reform, crime has gone up, the NYPD has been vilified and there seems to be no end in sight.

According to NYPD data:

  • “Major crimes in New York City have skyrocketed 37% so far this year — driven by grand larcenies, auto thefts, burglaries and robberies.
  • Grand larceny has shot up 49% so far this year over last year as of Sunday — from 18,058 to 26,908. Auto theft has spiked by 46.2%, from 4,855 to 7,100.
  • Robbery is up 39.2%, from 6,530 to 9,091, and burglaries increased by 32.9%, from 6,251 to 8,305, the numbers show.
  • Felonious assault rose by 18.6% and rapes saw an 11% increase so far this year over 2021.”

In too many cases, violent crime has been committed by a suspect who was released from jail awaiting trial, who would have otherwise been sitting in jail…

Nearly 1,600 cops have retired or resigned from the NYPD in the first 5 months of 2022. That represents an increase of 38% over 2021 and 46% more the 2020 numbers.

Let’s pause for a minute to grasp what that means… the NYPD is poised to lose just over 11% of their department’s force this year, or 3,830 officers.

So, what is driving this mass exodus?

The New York Post discussed the opinion of one officer who left the NYPD to work at a different Long Island department.

“Anti-cop hostility, bail reform, and rising crime have fed into frustration among the NYPD rank and file.”

Mask Maker 3M Harmed 200,000 Troops

As American Prospect reported,

“Aearo and its parent company 3M had supplied millions of earplugs to nearly all troops who served between 2006 and 2015. Each pair of earplugs was faulty, due to a mechanical flaw discovered in 2000… and subsequently hidden. Now, more than 160,000 veterans, current service members, and civilians are suing 3M for hearing loss, in one of the largest litigations of its kind in U.S. history.”

3M gave the troops earplugs that they knew failed to plug the ear — which is, like, their one job. So 160,000 former troops have hearing loss or tinnitus. And that 160,000 military personnel harmed is actually now up to 290,000. So how are those lawsuits going? Well, a few months ago Reuters reported 3M was ordered to pay $77.5 million to a single veteran in the latest earplug trial.

But 3M, like every major corporation, has a way to escape paying for their crimes.

“To reduce the spread of misinformation and provide more reliable information to users, we partner with independent third-party fact-checkers globally,” the Silicon Valley giant wrote, adding, “Facebook’s independent third-party fact-checkers are all certified by the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN). The IFCN, a subsidiary of the journalism research organization Poynter Institute, is dedicated to bringing together fact-checkers worldwide.”

The problem with this? At least five of the nine organizations are directly in the pay of the United States government, a major belligerent in the conflict. The Poynter Institute is also funded by the NED. Furthermore, many of the other fact-checking organizations also have deep connections with other NATO powers, including direct funding.

Perhaps the most well-known and notorious of the nine groups is StopFake. Established in 2014, StopFake is funded by NATO’s Atlantic Council, by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the British Embassy in Ukraine and the Czech Foreign Ministry.

San Diego Cops Negligently Kill Man — Lie to Family Saying He Died on Illegal Drugs

Jennifer Schmidt, Gil’s daughter says she became worried on February 12 when her dad didn’t show up at her home after he got off of work.

Because he has dementia, Schmidt had placed a tracking device on his keys and when she found him, he was miles away in another county where he wrecked his car. Gil had lost consciousness and drove off the road…

Schmidt said she checked to see if her dad had taken his insulin shots and she found that he hadn’t. She tried to tell police that his strange behavior was likely a combination of his dementia and diabetes but they arrested him and took him to jail instead of a hospital.

“I told him to just listen to what the deputy says. And I’ll see him in a little bit.”

The next morning, Schmidt went to the jail and picked up her dad. Deputies told her that he “never sobered up” and he was worse off than the night before. Schmidt told them that he was not drunk or high and that he suffered from dementia and diabetes and Gil was released shortly after…

Gil’s condition continued to worsen and they called 911 for an ambulance. Instead of an ambulance, police showed up and arrested Gil. And, instead of medical help, Gil received a jail cell.

When Schmidt finally found out that her dad was in jail, she went there the following morning to get him out. Tragically, however, she could not pick him up. He died the night before and officers left his dead body in the cell for 15 hours after he died — so long that rigor mortis had set in…

Police would tell her that Gil tested positive for methamphetamine and this likely contributed to his death. This was not true.

Schmidt had an independent autopsy carried out and the toxicology report showed that Gil did not have any drugs or alcohol in his system. The autopsy found that Gil died of asphyxiation likely due to diabetic shock…

Gil was the 15th person to die in the San Diego jail so far this year. Since 2006, 200 people have died while in the custody of San Diego police.

Sen. Menendez Pushes Bill to Designate Taiwan ‘Major Non-NATO Ally’

Authored by Dave DeCamp via AntiWar.com

In an op-ed for The New York Times, Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), the chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, called for a major increase in US support for Taiwan that would overhaul US policy toward the island.

Menendez said that the US can’t make the same “mistake” with Taiwan that it did with Ukraine. He argued that the US didn’t support Kyiv enough to prevent a Russian invasion, even though it’s clear that US meddling in Ukraine was one of President Vladimir Putin’s main motivations for launching the invasion.

The Real Russiagate: Indictment Exposes Ties Between Moscow, Black Nationalists and Antifa

After years of Russiagate conspiracy theories about how the Russians had somehow rigged the 2016 presidential election using Facebook ads, the Senate Intelligence report awkwardly revealed that the Russian operation had focused most of its attention on black nationalists.

The Senate report revealed that “most of the videos” put out by the Russian IRA troll factory on YouTube “pertained to police brutality and the activist efforts of the Black Lives Matter organization” and found that “no single group of Americans was targeted… more than African-Americans” around “race and related issues”.

But that was an understatement.

The Russians had created their own Black Lives Matter groups, activists and protests. It is still not fully clear where the dividing lines between black nationalists and Russian agents lie. And the media has consistently buried these revelations about the real Russian role in our politics to focus on the discredited smears targeting President Trump and his political allies.

And yet the true Russian agents were the black nationalists championed by the Left.

The Wit and Wisdom of Kamala

Never has someone so empty of everything come this close to running everything.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris might be the single worst pair of communicators to occupy the White House. Both Joe and Kamala are wedded to teleprompters because he has too much to say and she has nothing to say. Teleprompters are there to keep Joe Biden from telling wildly inappropriate stories about his leg hairs or announcing an impromptu surrender to China, but they’re also there because in her natural state Kamala is incapable of saying anything at all.

Presidents and their veeps are supposed to be a balance of strengths and weaknesses like a good marriage, but instead Biden and Kamala are a bad marriage in which their weaknesses are mirror opposites, but also so far apart that they’re incapable of balancing each other out.

Neither Joe or Kamala have any real skills. They both got to where they are as a combination of political accidents by men who were attracted to their weakness and incompetence.

Tucker Carlson: Western Governments Rarely Fight Back When George Soros Interferes

When a Hungarian financier called George Soros shorted the English pound 30 years ago, back in 1992, the British government fought back. It did everything it could to preserve the value of its national currency. British officials raised interest rates all the way to 15%. The Bank of England then sold $40 billion of foreign currency reserves in a desperate effort to prop up the pound.

In the end, of course, it didn’t work. The Bank of England collapsed. Total cost to the population of Great Britain? Well, that’s hard to measure, but it was at least 3 billion pounds. This at a time when a pound was worth nearly 2-and-a-half dollars. It’s now at $1.20, which tells you a lot. The U.K. got poorer, but not George Soros. His fund made off with a billion dollars in profit — a billion dollars for creating nothing, only destroying things.

In the years since, Soros has become richer still, billions and billions of dollars richer. George Soros has become so rich that at this point Western governments rarely fight back when he interferes in their most basic domestic affairs, the most important domestic affairs. In 2015, for example, Soros decided that Europe had to resettle millions of penniless refugees from Africa and the Middle East. Relatively few Europeans wanted this to happen at all, but George Soros wanted it.

UN Agenda 2030 & the Great Reset: Democrats’ Climate Bill Could Pay Farmers to Not Grow Food

Farmers will be paid to implement agricultural conservation practices approved by the Biden administration to protect soil health and reduce carbon emissions, according to page 529 of the “Inflation Reduction Act.” Such measures could include plowing their soil less, implementing climate-friendly crop rotation techniques and planting cover crops that do not yield any food, according to The Associated Press.

“It’s a provision that will encourage farmers to pursue practices that will be meaningless for the environment, but like the rest of the bill, costly for taxpayers,” Steve Goreham, executive director for the Climate Science Coalition of America, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “In fact, there is no evidence that the passage of the bill will have the slightest effect on global temperatures.” …

For example, the bill will fund the USDA to regulate the diets of cows to decrease the methane emissions they produce. The proposed regulations on the farming industry come amid growing concerns about a global food crisis, according to a World Bank press release in May.

Current U.S. farming methods make the nation by far the largest exporter of agricultural products in the world; such exports generated roughly $177 billion in 2021, according to USDA data.

“Congress should pursue efforts to solve real environmental problems, such as real air and water pollution and plastic waste,” Goreham said.

The funding to target greenhouse gas emissions in the bill is strongly supported by environmental activist groups like the Environmental Defense Fund, the AP reported.

The roughly $370 billion climate and tax provisions in the Democratic deal aim to get the nation closer to cutting its carbon emissions in half by 2030.

Vox Senior Editor Fantasizes Over the Death of Justice Alito

Authored by Jonathan Turley

The rising threats against Supreme Court justices has been one of the most startling elements in our age of rage. When Nicholas John Roske was arrested for the attempted murder of Brett Kavanaugh, many of the left were muted in their response and one group went ahead with a campaign to offer a bounty for any information of a conservative justice’s location in public— with an added payment if there is time for a mob to find them at the location. Yet, Vox senior correspondent Ian Millhiser seemed to cut to the chase by penning an obituary for Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito. With people trying to kill justices, there seemed no concern how such “prewritten obituary” might fuel the fatal obsession of some like Roske in our society.

Don’t Ignore Canada’s Spike in Anti-Catholic Hate Crimes, Watchdog Says

Catholics in Canada suffered the largest spike in religion-based hate crimes last year, and government officials must take action in response, a watchdog group has said.

“Undoubtedly, this increase can be attributed to attacks on Catholic churches in Canada in 2021 including the deliberate burning down of churches,” the Toronto-based Catholic Civil Rights League said Aug. 4. “Mainstream media has reported the overall 27 percent increase, but the most staggering of all increases, the 260% rise in anti-Catholic hate crimes, has been largely ignored.”

The number of incidents targeting Catholics increased more than 260% between 2020 and 2021, according to crime figures from Canada’s national statistical office, Canada Statistics.

Fighting Trudeau’s Travel Mandate in Court Part. 1

This week, Rupa broke a bombshell story that proves the vaccine mandate imposed on Canadians was not based on science as the government claimed, but rather on politics.

An ongoing court challenge to the travel vaccine mandate has exposed the inner working of Covid Recovery — a government coordinated panel that was tasked with implementing the mandate. Not only did Rupa’s report highlight the fact that not a single member of the Covid Recovery panel have a science or medical degree, but the group was panicking to have scientific and medical justification for the mandate they imposed on Canadians that was never given to them.

However, that rule doesn’t seem to apply to Trudeau himself.

Russia vs. Israel… Tensions Rising

Yair Lapid, assuming the role of interim Prime Minister of Israel until the general election due on November 1, 2022, has coincided with rising tension between Jerusalem and Moscow. Vladimir Putin, the Russian President, has deemed Lapid as pro-Ukraine and anti-Russian. While Lapid’s immediate predecessor, Naftali Bennett, was careful of not crossing the line of neutrality, Lapid, already as Foreign Minister, positioned himself as pro-Ukraine. Whether in response to western pressures for outright support for Kyiv, or to ingratiate himself to the Biden administration, Lapid has shown little diplomatic savviness in dealing with Russia…

Lapid, as foreign minister, condemned Russia for its invasion of Ukraine, a step Bennett never took. Russia, for its part, rebuked Lapid for denouncing the Russian war crimes in Ukraine, and Israel voted to expel Russia from the UN Human Rights Council.

Tension between Russia and Israel arose earlier this year when Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made an antisemitic statement, alleging the falsehood of “Hitler’s Jewish blood,” and blaming the Jews of being “the worst anti-Semites.”

When Outnumbered Christian Defenders Destroyed a Muslim Horde

On July 27, 1192, Saladin, the great sultan-hero of Islam, surrounded and besieged the tiny Christian-held town of Jaffa. According to contemporary chronicles, the Muslims numbered as much as 20,000 and “covered the face of the earth like locusts.”

Messengers were instantly dispatched to King Richard I, who was then in Acre, preparing to sail back to England. Before the battered and bruised men had finished relaying their message, “With God as my guide,” Richard declared, “I will set out to do what I can,” and instantly disembarked on his fleet with slightly over 2,000 fighters.

Jaffa, meanwhile, was fighting for its life. According to Saladin’s court historian, Baha’ al-Din, who was present, after one of its walls collapsed, all the Muslims rushed into the city, “and there was not an enemy heart that did not tremble and shake.” Even so, the Christians “were more fierce and determined in the fight and more eager for and devoted to death.”

When the main gate was finally battered down and an adjoining wall collapsed from the bombardment, a “cloud of dust and smoke went up and darkened the sky.” Once it cleared, the Muslims saw that “spear-points had replaced the walls and lances had blocked the breach.”

North Korea Offers Russia 100,000 ‘Volunteers’ For War on Ukraine, Russian State TV Says

The reports come as Russia’s military force is depleted after its unsuccessful attempt to take key parts of Ukraine, including the capital of Kyiv.

Some estimates put the number of Russian soldiers killed as high as 15,000 to 25,000. Accounting for over five months of the war, that puts Russia’s casualty count to about 100 soldiers a day.

Atul Das | HENB | Dhaka | Aug 3, 2022:: Police recovered the naked body of a Hindu woman from a paddy field in Bherbheri Union of the Khansama upazila in the evening in the Dinajpur district of Bangladesh on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Opo Rani Roy, 23, wife of Milon alias Mission Chandra Roy.

Police sources said Opo Rani along with her daughter was returning to her husband’s house from her parents’ house in Tangua Kumarpara Village in the afternoon, but did not return to Milon’s home on time.

Later on, locals spotted her naked body in a paddy field in the evening and informed police. Her daughter was found unconscious beside the body.

Being informed, police recovered the body from the scene and sent it to Dinajpur M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.

The deceased’s family members alleged that Opo Rani might have been killed after gang-rape. They demanded justice over the killing. Local people suspected that a gang of Muslim hooligans did the heinous act.

Tagging a video of the unbearable ordeal made by the daughter of late Opo Rani Roy; Radharamn Das of ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) tweeted, “Let the cries of this helpless girl ring in your years. She is saying “Amra ki apraadh koray chiloom” What crime did we commit? These 2 small sisters have lost their mother. Raped & killed by radical’s. This fake world is cruel & biased. It’s survival issue Hindus. WAKE UP.”

In another tweet Radharamn Das expressed his concern, “This 10 year old girl crying is the daughter of Rani Roy. She was found unconscious along with the nude dead body of her mother who was r@ped & killed. The crying girl is asking “What crime did we commit?” Their only crime is they are Hindus in an Islamic country Bangladesh @UN”

Veteran journalist and India TV Director Rajat Sharma covered the news with importance and reported the ulterior persecution on the Hindu minorities in Islamic Bangladesh by the Islamist radicals. The reporting also highlighted the severe imbalance of population in the country, including rapid decrease of Hindus in Islamic Bangladesh.

In this reporting, Radharamn Das also condemned the silence of Amnesty and other human rights forum seeing all these brutal attacks, rape, murder and eviction of Hindus in Bangladesh on regular basis.

China: Biden’s White House is Lying, Joe Never Brought Up Genocide and Forced Labor With Xi

It’s a sad state of affairs when the Chinese Communist Party is more trustworthy than the U.S. president.

Faux-president Old Joe Biden spoke with China’s President Xi Jinping for over two hours on Thursday, but what they talked about is a matter of some dispute. The White House, understandably given Joe’s marginal grasp on the English language and rational discourse these days, released no transcript, instead giving us a terse one-paragraph “readout” on the call. Then Karine Jean-Pierre told the assembled Leftist media sycophants and Peter Doocy that Tough Old Joe called out Xi for genocide and forced labor in China, and China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) was annoyed: Joe, the Chinese said, did no such thing. Now, who are you gonna trust? The Chinese Communist Party, or Lyin’ Joe Biden? …

The record of Joe Biden’s lies goes all the way back to 1965, when the future corrupt kleptocrat was a callow law student. On Dec. 1, 1965, the faculty of the Syracuse College of Law published a report about Young Joe, stating that Biden “used five pages from a published law review article without quotation or attribution” and recommended that he fail a legal methods course because of his plagiarism.

Biden stumbled through law school, finishing 76th in a class of 85. Since then, he has shown repeatedly that the primary lesson he learned in Syracuse was how to be a serial liar. For years, he claimed the accident that took the life of his first wife Neilia was caused by a drunk driver. The real story was that Neilia drove into the path of the oncoming truck. The driver’s daughter repeatedly asked Biden to apologize for lying about her father, who was driven into a deep depression by Biden’s public lies. The cheerful grifter never, of course, did so.

In September 1987, Biden delivered a speech that mixed class warfare rhetoric with his own experiences and those of his family. “Why is it that Joe Biden is the first in his family ever to go to a university? Why is it that my wife… is the first in her family to ever go to college? …”

It’s gripping, right? At least until you realize that those weren’t really Biden’s family’s experiences at all. He had lifted all this from a speech by British Labour leader Neil Kinnock.

That lie torpedoed Biden’s 1988 presidential campaign. But that was a long time ago; when Biden claimed in February 2020 that he had been arrested in South Africa while trying to visit Nelson Mandela in prison, the establishment media yawned, and his presidential campaign, such as it was, went lumbering on.

Foot and Mouth Disease Found in 450,000 Cattle

The hits keep coming for the once-free nation of Australia. In the neighboring country of Indonesia, more than 450,000 cases of foot and mouth disease have been detected in livestock. Now, Australia’s farmers and ranchers are on high alert. Authorities have suggested they may respond to the disease with even more intensity than Covid. If even a single case of FMD is found in Australia, they say, it could lead to a lockdown of both animals and humans…

For Australia’s left-wing government, a pandemic for ranchers is another chance to blame every problem on climate change. It’s a chance to put a bunch of farmers out of business and further their plan to eradicate meat entirely. And speaking of eradicating meat, in the state of Victoria, where Melbourne is, the left-wing government is pursuing legislation that would ban hunters from sharing the meat obtained through hunting, an obvious prelude to just banning hunting itself.

Anger, Protests and Clashes Follow Gang Rape Arrests in South Africa

Protesters in South Africa beat suspected illegal miners with sticks and set fire to their camps after the arrest of more than 80 men in connection with the gang rapes of eight women last week.

Residents of Krugersdorp’s Kagiso township — on the western edges of Johannesburg — also barricaded roads with rocks and burning tyres during a protest against the presence of the miners.

They said they were frustrated with high levels of crime that they blame on the illegal miners as well as the alleged failure of police to deal with it.

Some suspected illegal miners were stripped of their clothes and whipped by residents, who also chased others out of their camps and beat and kicked them before handing them over to police.

Police responded by firing rubber bullets and stun grenades to disperse the protesters, who also clashed with police officers.

UK: Radical Common Sense: Elder Stateswoman Says Migrants Should be Detained While Asylum Claims Processed, Not Left at Large

Conservative elder stateswoman Ann Widdecombe has suggested a radical common sense approach to deterring illegal immigration to Britain — namely detaining asylum seekers while their claims are verified rather than letting them wander where they will.

“It isn’t a question about whether we’re welcoming or not, our problem is that we’re just not taking any realistic action to deter them from coming in the numbers that they’re coming in,” said Ann Widdecombe, a John Major-era government minister who defected to the Brexit Party and being elected a Member of the European Parliament in the last EU elections Britain participated in.

Pennsylvania Moms React to Education Dept Suggesting Kids May Use ‘Ne, Ve, Ze/Zie and Xe’ Pronouns

Fox News Digital spoke with people from Pennsylvania, including mothers, about the education department’s webpage.

“In addition to the traditional pronouns (he/him, she/her, they), some people prefer to use gender-neutral pronouns, such as ne, ve, ze/zie and xe. If you don’t know a student’s preferred personal pronoun, it’s always best to ask,” the Pennsylvania DOE said.

  4. Almost £500m of Taxpayers’ Money Has Been Spent on Preventing Migrants From Crossing the English Channel in the Past Seven Years, Research Reveals, Including Huge Sums Handed to the French- well my goodness that’s a laugh-seemingly not one penny of that £500m has appears to have been used to divert Migrants from landing on British shores. It quite incomprehensible that the invasion from peoples from well ouside our shores, and whose existance is completely incompatible with indigenous British. Enoch Powell was so right in what he said and predicted all that time ago.

  5. Regarding the article on Alex Jones being sued by the gun control advocates: Neil Heslin, of the lawsuit, is not just a parent of a murder victim, he is also an advocate for strict gun laws and prohibitions who believes among other things, that owning a normal capacity firearm magazine should result in fifteen years in jail. He describes those who do not want to be so jailed, or sacrifice their freedom to gun control as ‘stubborn’ and ‘ignorant’ (https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/article/neil-heslin-father-of-newtown-victim-something-has-to-change/).
In the context of the crime that killed his child, this man Heslin is a victim; but in the broader context of how that crime has been exploited to try and violate the rights of the innocent, he is a villain.
In the context of the legal case, he is far worse than the supposed villain, Alex Jones – as his lawyer argued for such a massive financial penalty not as justice or recompense for harm, but to censor Mr. Jones, saying the idea was to bankrupt him so he couldn’t speak out on issues of the day (https://www.foxnews.com/us/alex-jones-ordered-pay-45-2m-sandy-hook-victim). This is a deliberate misuse of the courts to censor.
It is not the purpose of a civil lawsuit to censor critics of government policy or the exploitation of crimes to violate constitutional rights – no matter how uncouth the critics. If the critic does in fact slander someone, as was alleged about Jones, the purpose of the resulting lawsuit is to address any harm, not censor him in future. This is abuse of the legal system. It is the action of a bad guy – not a ‘victim’.
Yet this gun control advocate is being paid over $40 million dollars and rewarded for it.
And while Jones’ words may have embarrassed or caused problems for the parents, the parents’ words, and the agenda of which they are a part, have caused problems for millions of Americans facing new intrusive laws and injustice.

Sorry but gun control advocates, no matter their personal misfortune, are not victims, they are villains, as are people who abuse the courts to silence others. In this case they just happen to be the same person.
