“The People Who Died Were Vaccinated, at-Risk People”

Professor Andrea Crisanti, the Director of Microbiology at Padua University, is featured in the following video from the Italian TV talk show In Onda, hosted by Concita De Gregorio and David Parenzo. Prof. Crisanti is at pains to emphasize that recent deaths from COVID-19 are primarily among at-risk patients who have received the experimental mRNA treatment (commonly known as the “vaccine”) intended to mitigate the effects of infection with the Wuhan Coronavirus.

Video transcript:

00:00   Last week, on a plane, I was wearing the mask, but nobody else was.
00:04   So Concita was right to wonder what kind of message we are conveying, in terms of communication.
00:08   Because the mask is not mandatory on the plane, whereas in summer, in July,
00:12   I am supposed to wear it in Via del Corso [street in Rome].
00:15   Not only that, there may be people telling you, “take off that mask,” since it’s not mandatory.
00:21   Excuse me, David… —Yes? —One at a time. —May I say something?
00:25   The real problem is… —Let Sileri finish, professor.
00:29   No problem. —Please, go ahead, professor Crisanti.
00:32   I think there has been a communication problem here.
00:36   They failed to explain that saying that mask was not mandatory any more
00:40   did not imply that at-risk people didn’t have to wear it.
00:43   And even people taking care of at-risk patients need to wear it.
00:46   Because it is they who may transmit the disease to them.
00:49   It hasn’t been explained that well…but it doesn’t deal with a weather event, professor Crisanti.
00:55   The problem is that we haven’t had the courage to say from the very first that
00:59   the daily 160 deaths were not unvaccinated people, but vaccinated, at-risk people.
01:03   The entire anti-vaxxer controversy has created a communicative short circuit.
01:06   As if the people who died were all anti-vaxxers. And it was not true!
01:10   The people who died were vaccinated, at-risk people. And that was the real priority
01:15   in the very first stage of the epidemic. The vaccinated at-risk people. So I want to tell Sileri
01:20   that I guess it was wrong to send the at-risk people back to work,
01:25   instead of letting them work from home, in a safe space.
01:29   Because we have put them at risk. So, Sileri, today
01:32   we cannot consider Covid little more than a flu, as you used to say.
01:35   Wait, what Crisanti said is important.

  1. That guy bears a resemblance to Chevy Chase. Anyway, I got a haircut today and I asked about the barber who had been absent the last few visits. That led into comments on the number of vaccinated customers who have been having strokes, cancer and tumors, mental decline/personality change or get covid. They seem to get sick about 4 weeks after. That is the first person I know to have there own observation of this. I know of one person who was vaccinated who wound up in the hospital for over 6 weeks.
