Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum is pushing a credit card that will track your carbon usage and cut you off when you’ve “used up all your carbon credits”.
Doconomy is a credit card backed by the World Economic Forum’s leftist authoritarians that tracks the “environmental impact” of everything you buy (including food) and refuses to let you buy items when you’re deemed to be a net polluter.
It doesn’t matter if you have a family at home and you need to put food on the table. The World Economic Forum will track you down and take away your hard-earned money if you’ve been a “bad person” and used too many carbon credits this week.

80-Year-Old Woman Stabbed Multiple Times in South Jersey Grocery Store Parking Lot
Altirik Higgins, 40, of Philadelphia, was arrested on Sunday afternoon and charged with attempted murder on Monday
An elderly woman was repeatedly stabbed in a grocery store parking lot in Audubon after she finished her shopping on Sunday afternoon.
The 80-year-old was attacked while loading her groceries into her car in front of the Acme at 608 Nicholson Rd., the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office reports.
Bystanders cared for the woman until she was transported to Cooper University Hospital, NJ Pen reports. She was still recovering there on Monday, authorities say.
Altirik Higgins, 40, of Philadelphia, was taken into custody in connection with the stabbing on Sunday afternoon.
He was charged with attempted murder and related weapons offenses on Monday and is currently incarcerated at the Camden County Correctional Facility.
The stabbing shocked residents of the usually quiet suburban town.
“This shopping area takes a lot of heat, but other than the random panhandler, maybe a shoplifter, that’s really all I’ve ever seen happen,” said Amy Paratore, a resident of nearby Audubon Park, told NJ Pen. “We live in a safe area; that’s what got me more than anything.”…

After SCOTUS Win on EPA Case, Patrick Morrisey Takes Aim at SEC
After the Supreme Court handed him a win on Thursday limiting the authority of the Environmental Protection Agency, West Virginia Republican Attorney General Patrick Morrisey next takes aim at the Biden administration’s effort to use its powers to regulate capital markets through the Securities and Exchange Commission to push its environmental agenda.
The Supreme Court on Thursday curtailed the EPA’s ability to restrict power plant emissions under the Clean Air Act. Morrisey, who brought the suit on behalf of his coal-dependent state, celebrated the ruling on the John Solomon Reports podcast.

Arrest Made in Shooting That Killed 6, Injured 30 at Chicago-Area Fourth of July Parade
A person of interest has been arrested in connection to a shooting at a Fourth of July parade in the Chicago-area suburb of Highland Park, Illinois, on Monday that killed six people and wounded at least 30 others.
Highland Park Police Chief Lou Jogmen said officers spotted 22-year-old Robert E. Crimo III less than an hour after he was named a person of interest. A brief police chase occurred before Crimo was finally stopped and arrested without incident.
Officials still need to interview Crimo before they can name him as a suspect in the shooting and pursue charges against him, officials said.

At Least 6 Dead, 24 Injured After Shooting at Highland Park, Illinois, July Fourth Parade
Officials in the affluent Chicago suburb confirmed that there’s “an active shooter incident” and said all “individuals are advised to shelter in place.”
Police launched a massive manhunt Monday for a rooftop shooter after at least six people were killed and 24 more were injured at a July Fourth parade in an affluent Chicago suburb, authorities said.
A high-powered rifle has been found and police are searching for a gunman, described as a white man between the ages of 18 and 20 with long black hair, who opened fire at about 10:14 a.m. CDT, Highland Park police Commander Chris O’Neill told reporters.
Police do not believe the shooter is holed up nearby and should be considered armed and dangerous, officials said.
The city of Highland Park confirmed that there’s “an active shooter incident” and urged all “individuals are advised to shelter in place.”
Police were spotted scouring rooftops around Central Avenue near Green Bay Road and Second Street in the aftermath of gunfire.

Disney could soon lose exclusive rights to its most iconic cartoon character as Mickey Mouse’s 95-year copyright is set to expire in two years.
Mickey will become available for the public domain in 2024 under U.S. copyright law that states intellectual property on artistic work expires 95 years after first publication.

Gun Owners Sue D.C. to be Able to Carry Concealed Firearms on Metro
Residents of Virginia and Washington, D.C., are suing the nation’s capital to try to lift its ban on carrying concealed handguns on Metrorail and Metro buses within city limits.
The four plaintiffs argue in the lawsuit that many of D.C.’s current restrictions on where individuals can carry a concealed handgun — including schools, restaurants and government buildings — indeed have merit, but a ban on carrying while on public transportation is unjustified, the DCist reports.

More than eight hours after a man opened fire with a “high-powered rifle” on people attending Highland Park’s Fourth of July parade, killing six people and wounding dozens, the suspected gunman was pulled over peacefully on U.S. 41 in Lake Forest.
At 6:45 p.m. Monday, the Highland Park police said a “person of interest” identified “through investigative leads” as Robert E. “Bobby” Crimo III, 22, had been “taken into custody without incident” on U.S. 41 at Westleigh Road in Lake Forest. That came after he was spotted by a North Chicago police officer and followed a short chase.
Crimo was being taken to the Highland Park police department, police Chief Lou Jogmen said.
Christopher Covelli of the Lake County sheriff’s office and the Lake County major crimes task force said authorities were using the terms “suspect” and “person of interest” interchangeably.
As of 7 p.m., no charges had been filed, and the police gave no indication of what the motive for the shootings might have been.

Joey Chestnut Wins Hot Dog Eating Contest After Putting Eco Protester in Chokehold Mid-Bite
Legendary competitive eater Joey Chestnut was victorious on Monday after demolishing the competition at the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest for a record-setting fifteenth time, despite having to put an animal rights protester in a chokehold mid-bite.
Joey Chestnut, 37, scarfed down 63 hotdogs in 10 minutes, a number that eviscerated the second runner up, Geoffrey Esper, by 20 hot dogs, according to New York Post.
Chestnut’s record-setting win came despite the number-one-ranked competitive eater in the world having to put a disruptive animal rights protester in a chokehold during the competition.

LA City Council Votes to Ban Homeless Encampments Near Schools

A hearing to reconsider an ordinance banning homeless encampments within 500 feet of schools and daycare centers is set for July 27 after the Los Angeles City Council failed to give the proposal its unanimous approval.
The council voted 10-1 in favor of the ordinance, with Councilman Mike Bonin dissenting. Since the vote was not unanimous, the matter will return to the council for a second vote following the summer recess.
The vote on June 1 came during a sometimes-raucous meeting that was repeatedly interrupted by shouting from the audience.

LA Cop Beaten to Death by Fellow Cops During Exercise on How to Respond to Civilian Unrest
Los Angeles, CA — The mother of a Los Angeles police officer is coming forward this week alleging that her son 32-year-old officer Houston Tipping, was beaten to death by fellow cops during department training last month. Tipping was playing the role of a civilian and was beaten by fellow officers and suffered fatal head and neck injuries.
Shirley Huffman, Tipping’s mother filed a notice of claim against the city this month as part of a wrongful death lawsuit. Her son suffered a massive spinal cord injury during the event on May 26 and died three days later. He was buried last week…
Police in Los Angeles are notoriously corrupt and while this case may be unrelated, rogue cops in precinct gangs have doled out violent punishments like this one before. Ohio City Declares State of Emergency After Riots Over Police-Involved Shooting of Black Male
The mayor of Akron, Ohio, has declared a state of emergency in response to protests that turned violent after police released videos showing the death of Jayland Walker, a black male fatally shot by police officers following a car chase.
The city had already canceled its Fourth of July celebration but still planned to put on a fireworks display until the state of emergency was issued.
“Early yesterday, we had several peaceful protests,” Democrat Mayor Dan Horrigan said. “However, as night fell and others began to join, the protests became no longer peaceful. There was significant property damage done to downtown Akron. Small businesses up and down Main St. have had their windows broken. We cannot and will not tolerate violence or the destruction of property.”

Representative Decries the FBI for Acting Like the Gestapo

Several NYC Election Sites Had ‘No Republican Ballots’ During Last Week’s Primary
Last week’s primary voting in New York City was a complete debacle — as the city’s Board of Elections botched everything from polling locations opening late because of ‘lost keys,’ to missing equipment, to unannounced relocations of voting sites, to a lack of Republican ballots across at least three Big Apple election sites.
“We showed up to the poll site in Brooklyn, we showed up at 5 a.m. … and there was no key,” Spencer Mestel, a freelance writer, told the New York Post on Tuesday afternoon, adding that he saw poll workers turn away an elderly woman with a walker because they couldn’t get in.
“The police officer on site didn’t have a key, the Board of Elections didn’t give [the site coordinator] a key, I watched her call the Board of Election multiple times … [but] no one helped us,” added the journalist who has served as a NYC election worker for the past decade.
The building was eventually unlocked at 7:30 a.m. by the building’s superintendent — more than 90 minutes after voters should have been able to start casting ballots.

The Two Gravest Threats to Our Liberties
No! Russia is not one of the two gravest threats to our liberties. In fact, a Russian threat is not even in the top ten—or twenty. While the U.S. Supreme Court last week handed down two laudable—and constitutionally powerful—rulings, overturning Roe v Wade and affirming the absolute right of the people to keep and bear arms by overturning New York State’s tyrannical gun control law forbidding New Yorkers from bearing arms, the U.S. Senate, with the assistance of 15 neocon Republicans, passed the most draconian gun control bill in decades: a bill that in effect creates a national Red Flag gun confiscation law.
Not only does the bill infringe upon the freedom of 18 — 20-year-olds to purchase and own a firearm without excessive government restriction, it provides millions of taxpayer dollars to BRIBE states to enact Red Flag laws.
Make no mistake about it: This is backdoor gun control of the most nefarious kind.
This law allows police personnel to raid your house and seize your firearms without you being accused of a crime, without you threatening to commit a crime, without you committing a crime, without an investigation as to why your firearms are being seized, without legal representation and without due process.
All that is needed to precipitate the confiscation of one’s firearms is an ACCUSATION. An unverified, unproven, unconfirmed ACCUSATION by almost anyone.

Twitter ‘Silenced’ Physicians Who Posted Truthful Information About COVID, Lawsuit Alleges

YouTube Censors Supporter of California’s Medical Censorship Bill
Californians for Good Governance, a nonpartisan group that says it’s dedicated to civil liberties, constitutional separation of powers and strengthening of democratic norms, has had one of its videos showing footage from a Senate committee hearing removed by YouTube.
The video contained testimony of a witness speaking in support of California’s AB 2098, otherwise known as “the medical censorship bill.” The bill takes aim at doctors who are seen as contradicting the state narrative on medical topics and seeks to strip them of their license in case they are found “guilty.”

100 Sikh Security Guards Fired for Not Adhering to Toronto’s Mask Mandate
Roughly 100 Sikh security guards were let go due to the City of Toronto’s mask mandate, which requires them to be clean-shaven. The World Sikh Organization (WSO) is now demanding the city change what it calls a “discriminatory” rule.
According to CBC News, the city has been mandating that security guards wear N95 masks while on the job at settings such as homeless shelters since January. The city confirmed that employees working within the Shelter, Support, and Housing Administration (SSHA) department must wear N95 masks at all times and be clean-shaven so that the masks provide effective protection against Covid-19.
For devout Sikhs, leaving their hair uncut is an important part of their faith. In a practice called Kesh, Sikhs allow one’s hair to grow out naturally out of respect for the perfection of God’s creation.

Health Minister Suggests Canadians Will Need to Get Vaccinated Every Nine Months
Canadians should prepare to get a Covid shot every nine months in order to be considered “up to date” on their vaccinations by the government, according to health minister Jean-Yves Duclos.
According to Blacklock’s Reporter, Duclos told reporters on Thursday that the previous definition of “fully vaccinated” is no longer effective in protecting Canadians against Covid-19 and that Canadians will “never be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.”

Biden to Set Up Permanent Army Headquarters in Poland
The United States government is continuing to provoke a war with Russia. The Biden administration has now decided to set up a permanent Army headquarters in Poland, which Russia won’t see as anything other than a blatant war provocation.
The U.S. ruling class will significantly increase its military presence in Europe to “defend every inch of allied territory,” President Joe Biden said on Wednesday after arriving in Madrid, Spain for the annual NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) summit. The US 5th Army Corps will set up a permanent headquarters in Poland, while 5,000 additional troops will be deployed to Romania, according to a report by RT.
There are already around 100,000 US troops stationed in Europe. “We’re stepping up, proving that NATO is more needed now than it ever has been and it’s as important as it ever has been,” Biden said.
The Pentagon will also boost rotational deployments in the Baltic states, dispatch two additional squadrons of F-35 fighter planes to Britain, and station additional air defenses in Germany and Italy. The US Navy will increase the number of destroyers stationed in Spain from four to six.

The Army’s YouTube account was renamed Ark Invest, and multiple videos of Tesla CEO Elon Musk were uploaded discussing the prospects of the Bitcoin and Ethereum cryptocurrencies.
An Army spokesperson said they were aware “of a breach of the Army’s Twitter and YouTube accounts” and confirmed that “an investigation is under way.”
The British Army Twitter account appeared to have been secured late on Sunday, tweeting shortly after 9 p.m., “Apologies for the temporary interruption to our feed. We will conduct a full investigation and learn from this incident. Thanks for following us and normal service will now resume.”

Czech EU Presidency Will be Defined by ‘Crisis,’ Warns European Press Outlets
Czechia took over the presidency of the Council of the European Union on Friday, and the European press is already warning of a dire situation ahead. Czech Fighter Jets Will Soon Defend Slovak Airspace

The suspect in the Copenhagen mall shooting in which three people were killed and several others injured has been sent to a psychiatric ward for 24 days, Danish officials said Monday.
Ten people were shot and 20 people were injured in the chaotic evacuation from the mall on Sunday in Denmark’s capital, police said.
The suspect has been identified as a 22-year-old Danish man, who is in police custody.

From This Week, All New Vehicles in the EU With Have to Have a Surveillance-Based Speed Limiter
Tracking and surveillance tech is finding its use in yet another segment of public life in the West — road traffic.
Starting in 2022, cars in the UK will be fitted with speed limiters as a mandatory measure, and the most commonly used variety is the Intelligent Speed Assistant (ISA).
ISA works using GPS data alone, cameras for traffic sign recognition fitted to the front of the car, or a combination of the two. A speed limiter affects the engine power and in that way decreases speed.

German Government Charges Journalist for Interviewing Ukrainians in Donetsk
Independent reporter Alina Lipp, a German-Russian journalist who is living in the Donbas region of Ukraine, is facing three years in prison from the German government for interviewing Ukrainian citizens and reporting on what she’s seen and heard.
On top of the charges from German authorities, Lipp’s PayPal and YouTube accounts have also been shut down.
A video published on March 9, 2022 on the video platform Rumble titled “Journalist Inside Eastern Ukraine: People Here Are Extremely Grateful Russia Finally Did Something“ which showed Lipp in Ukraine reporting on how the citizens who lived in the contested Donbas region of eastern Ukraine were “extremely grateful that Russia had done something.”

Hungarian MEP Slams European Commission for Constant Attacks on National Conservative Governments

Netherlands: Polish National Suspect Arrested Over Slaying of Veteran Crime Journalist
THE HAGUE, Netherlands (AP) — Dutch prosecutors on Monday arrested a 27-year-old Polish man suspected of organizing the killing of well-known crime reporter Peter R. de Vries [pictured above], almost exactly a year after he was gunned down in an Amsterdam street in an attack that shocked the Netherlands.
The man, whose identity was not released, is suspected of “directing those who carried out the murder of De Vries,” prosecutors said in a statement. They released no further details. However, they said that their investigation into who ordered the hit and why continues.

Food Innovation Hubs (FUBs) are being set up all over the world for the “transformation of food systems”. In November 2020, the World Economic Forum announced that the European Food Innovation Hub will be located in Wageningen, in the Netherlands.

Poles Still Revere John Paul II But Have Doubts About Today’s Church
Saint John Paul II is still by far and away the most respected Church figure in Poland, according to an survey conducted by the CBOS research center on the Catholic Church. However, the number of Poles who revere him has fallen from 92 percent in 2009 to 81 percent today.
Neither of the popes who followed John Paul II, Benedict XVI nor Francis, come close to his ratings. Pope Francis’s ratings are now 57 percent, down from 83 percent recorded in 2014. The pollster noted there is little doubt that the current pope’s ambiguous statements about the war in Ukraine have affected his standing in Poland.

Ukraine War: Putin Presses on After Lysychansk Capture
Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered his defence minister to continue the offensive in Ukraine after Russia captured the city of Lysychansk.
Mr Putin was shown on Russian TV calling on forces on other fronts to pursue their aims according to “previously approved plans”.
The capture means that all of Luhansk region is now in Russian hands.
Earlier the region’s Ukrainian governor said the city was abandoned so Russians would not destroy it from a distance.
Soldiers have now moved to new fortified positions, Serhiy Haidai told the BBC.
Losing the city and ceding control of Luhansk to Russia was painful, he said, but added: “This is just one battle we have lost, but not the war.”

Japan Court Ruling Could Force Big Tech to Reveal Their Algorithms
Japanese legal experts say a recent court ruling involving a restaurant chain and reviews platform could set a precedent to force Big Tech platforms to disclose how their algorithms work.
Last month, a court in Tokyo ruled in favor of Korean-style BBQ restaurant chain Hanryumura in an antitrust case against Kakaku.com, owner of Japan’s largest restaurant review platform Tabelog.
Hanryumura successfully argued that a change in how user reviews are calculated in Tabelog harmed the scores of its outlets. Kakaku.com was forced to pay the chain restaurant ¥38.4mn ($284,000) in “abuse of superior bargaining position” damages.
During the proceedings, the court ordered Kakaku.com to reveal part of its algorithms. Legal experts in Japan argue the outcome might be used in other cases to force Big Tech platforms to reveal their algorithms.

TikTok Confirms Some Employees in China Can Access US Citizens’ User Data
A few weeks ago, BuzzFeed News published an article revealing that TikTok’s China-based employees have access to US user data. A group of Republican senators sent a letter to the company citing the BuzzFeed News report demanding answers.
In the letter, the Senators wanted to know: “Do China-based employees have access to US users’ data? What role do those employees play in shaping TikTok’s algorithm? Is any of that information shared with the Chinese government?”
In response to the letter, TikTok confirmed that indeed some China-based employees have access to the user data of Americans. Employees based in China with specific internal security clearances can access certain information on American users including videos and comments, TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew wrote in the letter, obtained by Bloomberg News.

More than 100 migrants crossed the English Channel by small boat today after a man was rescued by the French Navy in a kayak trying to make the 21-mile journey.
The first group of between 30 and 40 people was brought into Dover, Kent on board Border Force vessel Ranger shortly before 11am.

Polish Labor Market Absorbs Ukrainian Arrivals
More than 270,000 Ukrainians have already taken up paid employment in Poland, including 200,000 women, according to data produced by the Polish Labor Ministry.
Labor Minister Marlena Malag noted that the uptake of jobs took place shortly after the government simplified procedures for the employment of foreign nationals. “The situation on the labor market remains stable and unemployment is falling,” she said.
According to the minister, the data shows how buoyant the labor market is in Poland and how important a role is played by people from abroad who are filling the gaps in many sectors.

Former CBP Commissioner Mark Morgan said Monday that border agents are “demoralized” with the border “wide open.” He added that “every aspect of our public health, safety, national security is being jeopardized.” Over 7,000 migrants cross the border every day as it is, and once Title 42, a Trump administration attempt to control the wave of migrants, is ended as Biden’s handlers plan to do next month, that number is expected to jump to 18,000 per day…

Former Trump Aide Sues Va. School District for ‘Psychologically Abusing, Sexually Exploiting’ Kids
A Virginia school district is forcing parents to give up a guaranteed public education if they object to officials “psychologically abusing and sexually exploiting the children entrusted to their care,” according to a former Trump administration official.
Stephen Miller’s America First Legal, whose board includes former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, filed a state lawsuit against Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS), board members, Superintendent Scott Ziegler and several officials on behalf of a dozen parents with children in the district.
The complaint seeks at least $1.5 million in damages for a cornucopia of culture-war grievances: secretly facilitating “gender transitions,” requiring children to share bathrooms and locker rooms “with the opposite sex against their will,” providing “sexually explicit and pornographic materials” and practicing “overt racial discrimination,” Miller tweeted Wednesday.

Reuters, Google’s Jigsaw, And Twitter Team Up on Tool to Limit “Harassment” Towards Journalists
The Thomson Reuters Foundation, Google’s Jigsaw, and Twitter have collaborated to create TRFilter, a new tool that allows journalists to collect and manage incidents of “online abuse and harassment.”
According to AdWeek, the tool “syncs with a journalist’s Twitter account and uses machine learning technology to automatically recognize and flag harmful comments, and it offers users the options to block, mute, or save comments at scale, without manually reviewing them.” TRFilter also allows the creation of reports that users can download and send to third parties, like law enforcement.

Same-Sex Couples Can Now Get Married in Switzerland
A law allowing same-sex couples to marry came into force in Switzerland on Friday; it also provides these couples with new rights in relation to adoption and artificial insemination.
The law was approved by an almost two-thirds majority of voters in a referendum last September, although participation in the vote was not very high, according to Swiss media.
Since 2007, same-sex couples have been able to enter into a registered partnership in Switzerland, however, marriage will bring them new rights. For example, they will be able to adopt a child, and if one spouse is a foreign national, they will be able to acquire Swiss citizenship more quickly; same-sex female couples will also have greater access to artificial insemination.

An employee of Universal Music Group says he has been fired for “speaking up” about abortion rights after explaining how he refused to work because he was in “mourning” over the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, the New York Post reported.
Michael Lopez, a production coordinator at Universal Music Enterprises, lambasted the company as “anti-gay” for firing a “queer brown person,” apparently referring to himself, for “speaking up in defense of abortion rights,” according to a message posted last week by Lopez on LinkedIn account.
“Last Friday, like countless other folks, I was devastated by the news of the Supreme Court’s attack on abortion rights,” Lopez wrote. “Paired with the flood of anti-queer and anti-trans legislation, it’s been hard to process how [companies] expect us to be productive while our rights are being stripped away.”
Last month, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the 1973 decision that established a constitutional right to an abortion. The ruling leaves it to the individual states to determine the legality of abortion.
Lopez explained that each Friday “one of my tasks was to process reports for upcoming releases” and to email his work to 275 people.
After the Supreme Court struck down Roe, however, he didn’t do his work and explained why in an email to coworkers.

Anonymous prepaid cards banned in August

Internet surveillance will be tightened considerably on 1 August when the sale of anonymous prepaid cards will be banned. The change will make it impossible to make calls or use the internet without the authorities being able to see who is doing what. Cards that are not registered within a certain time will be suspended.
The rules, introduced on 1 August, mean that users who opt for a prepaid mobile or mobile broadband prepaid card will have to register certain subscriber information before the service can be used.
Prepaid cards or similar prepaid services purchased before 1 August can be used without registration until 1 February 2023 or until a new prepayment is made.
If a user wishes to transfer their prepaid card to someone else, the new user must be registered. There are some exceptions, including for close relatives. Otherwise, the mobile operator will have to suspend the service, under the new rules, which are similar to the banks’ “customer due diligence” requirements for using bank accounts.
Basic subscriber data to be recorded are name, postal address, personal identity number, coordination number, organisation number or other identifying number and the number or other designation of the service in question.
