Government Hails Hungary’s Unemployment Falling by Roughly Two-Thirds Since 2010

Based on the data of the National Employment Service (NFSZ), the number of unemployed persons in Hungary has fallen by two-thirds since 2010, said the State Secretary for Industry and Labor Market. Zsolt Kutnyanszky added that July’s figure of 231,000 registered jobseekers is the country’s second lowest number since the fall of communism.

In a statement made on Wednesday, the State Secretary for Industry and Labor Market emphasized that the government remains committed to reducing unemployment and defending a “work-based society.” The success of the employment policy is demonstrated by the steady decline in the number of jobseekers, while the government was able to handle the labor market difficulties caused by the pandemic. Hundreds of thousands of jobs have been saved and tens of thousands created thanks to well-targeted crisis management programs, Kutnyanszky underscored.

Hungary’s GDP in 2021 Surpasses Pre-Pandemic Level

In 2021, Hungary’s gross domestic product (GDP) already exceeded that of the year before the coronavirus outbreak, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) found in its latest analysis. As a result, Hungary’s economic performance is among the EU Member States with the highest output growth.

Last year, several sectors of Hungary’s economy were able to reach trends only seen before Covid-19, with GDP surpassing both the 2020 and the pre-pandemic 2019 figures, KSH revealed on Wednesday.

Following Hungary’s easing of restrictions imposed to contain the coronavirus outbreak last year, pre-pandemic trends have resumed in several areas of the economy, with GDP volume up 7.1 percent in 2020 and 2.3 percent higher than in 2019.

Hungary: Upward Course of Real Wages Unbroken for 113 Months

Real wages continued to increase despite the pandemic, according to the Ministry of Technology and Industry. Analysts say the full-year wage growth can climb a little over 16%.

The average gross wage has climbed 14.9% year-on-year to 495,900 forints (1,250 euros) in Hungary in May, according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH). For full-time employees at companies which have least five people on the payroll, the average net wage has risen to 329,700 forints. The gross median wage increased by 14.5% to 397,900 forints, KSH stated on Monday. The real wage growth was 3.8%, calculating with the May CPI of 10.7%.

Inflation Across the Eurozone Reaches New All-Time High of 8.9%

Inflation across the eurozone has reached a new all-time high of 8.9% in July, up from 8.6% in June.

A total of 10 states that use the single currency appear in double-digit territory: Belgium, Estonia, Greece, Spain, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Slovakia.

The data from Eurostat is yet another ominous sign for the bloc’s economy, which is gradually slowing down, raising the likelihood of a recession.

Majority of Canadians Losing Confidence in Bank of Canada

As the Bank of Canada (BoC) continues to raise interest rates, the majority of Canadians are losing confidence in the central bank’s ability to deal with the inflation crisis.

Following the BoC’s decision to raise interest rates by 100 basis points, the largest increase in 22 years, the Angus Reid Institute surveyed Canadians to see if they had confidence in the BoC to navigate the inflation crisis.

The poll revealed that 53% of Canadians were not confident in the Bank making the right decisions to combat inflation.

Poland to Prolong Anti-Inflation Measures

The Polish government will prolong its anti-inflation measures, which it calls ‘shields’, until the end of the year, Mateusz Morawiecki, the prime minister, has said.

Poland introduced temporary VAT and excise tax cuts early this year to help society weather high inflation.

“The anti-inflation shields will certainly be prolonged until the end of the year,” Morawiecki said at a press briefing on Friday.

Recently, the government extended the measures until the end of October. The shields cover fuel, electricity, heating, fertilisers and staple foods.

The CPI inflation reached 15.5 percent in July, unchanged from June, the Central Statistical Office reported earlier on Friday. Poland’s CPI is at its highest level in 25 years.

Anti-Meat Activist Bill Gates is Heavily Invested in Meat Alternatives

Last year, it was revealed that Bill Gates (Not a Scientist) had become the single largest farmland owner in America. While quietly amassing more American farmland than any other person on Earth, Gates has also positioned himself as one of the leading voices for “synthetic meat” and other meat alternatives — claiming they’re imperative in the fight against climate change…

For years, Gates and his ex-wife Melinda used a series of shell companies to hide their land purchases.

In 2018, for example, a company called Angelina Agriculture purchased approximately $171 million worth of farmland in Washington state. On the surface, Angelina was a small company based in a Louisiana town with 462 people. It had two employees…

“All rich countries should move to 100% synthetic beef,” Gates said during a conversation with MIT’s Technology Review.

It’s so important, he says, that government coercion could be necessary to catalyze the shift…

In a separate interview with CBS, Gates elaborated: “Unless we can make the cow zero emission, which I’m not sure we can, we do need to get rid of those emissions.” …

But how do you make synthetic meat? And what goes into plant-based alternatives?

Well, it just so happens that “plant-based” meat is typically created with a variety of lentils, potatoes, pea proteins, soy and wheat — all things grown on farmland owned by Gates. Over the last five years, Gates has also invested tens of millions of dollars into leading plant-based meat companies like Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods.

He is also among the single largest investors in “synthetic” or lab-grown meat, pouring tens of millions more into companies like Memphis Meats…

Over the last five years, climate activists — with Gates at the forefront — increasingly began claiming the meat industry posed an existential threat to the planet, and that our reliance on cows for food was accelerating climate change… despite the fact that beef cattle account for just 2% of America’s emissions…

But are the proposed alternatives — specifically synthetic meat — actually better for the environment?

Based on existing research, no.

In 2019, the University of Oxford conducted a study measuring the environmental impact of lab-grown meat as opposed to traditional cattle and found that real meat was actually better for the environment… It turns out, giant labs trying to “grow” meat take up quite a bit of energy.

Robb Wolf, a former Research Biochemist and author who has worked with the Navy’s Special Warfare Resiliency Program, agrees. “It is an outright lie that these plant-based alternatives are better for the environment, or are going to reduce carbon footprint or carbon emissions,” he told The Daily Wire.

Rumble’s Antitrust Lawsuit Against Google Will Proceed to Discovery

Google’s motion to dismiss the antitrust lawsuit filed by Rumble has been denied by a federal district court in California. The lawsuit will now proceed to discovery, creating a rare opportunity to learn how Google operates and how it works to stifle emerging platforms while favoring its own.

Rumble’s lawsuit alleges that Google uses its dominance in search to direct users to YouTube instead of its competitors, highlighting the Sherman Antitrust Act of 1890. The law makes it illegal to “monopolize, or attempt to monopolize any part of the trade or commerce among several States, or with foreign nations.”

Rumble is one of YouTube’s most significant competitors. Founded in 2013, it has grown rapidly over the past few years because it upholds free speech, while YouTube has been heavily censoring content, positioning itself as the arbiter of truth while banning, deleting, and demonetizing videos that go against certain narratives.

‘Scientists’ Change Name of Asian Murder Hornet Because it’s Racist

Known officially as Asian giant hornets, the insect has been called the “Murder Hornet” because its sting has been known to kill humans and large animals.

But on Monday, the Entomological Society of America announced that its new official name will be the “Northern Giant Hornet.” …

The society said in a press release… that the negative stigma attached to the hornets’ name could lead to future violence against Asians…

Jessica Ware, president of the society, added that the name is “scientifically accurate.”

“Common names are an important tool for entomologists to communicate with the public about insects and insect science,” said Ware. “Northern giant hornet is both scientifically accurate and easy to understand, and it avoids evoking fear or discrimination.”

“Scientifically accurate”? Uh, not really.

For “science” these folks sure aren’t very scientific. These hornets are descended from Asian hornets and have only been in the U.S. and Canada since around 2019.

How can they be identified as a “North American” anything?

The three suspects who allegedly beat 17-year-old Ethan Liming to death in Akron, Ohio on June 2 have been indicted on lesser charges for the teen’s death instead of a murder charge.

Fox News reports that a Summit County, Ohio grand jury indicted 20-year-old DeShawn Stafford on two counts of involuntary manslaughter, which are felonies in the first and third degree, plus one count of first-degree assault and fourth-degree aggravated assault. DeShawn’s brother, 19 year-old Tyler Stafford, was indicted on first-degree involuntary manslaughter and first-degree assault, while their cousin, 21-year-old Donovon Jones, was indicted on two counts of first-degree assault.

The Only Thing Hypocritical Dems Are Producing on Climate is Hot Air

Republicans are ruining the climate — right? Consider a few of the outrageous sins and stunts the party of evil perpetrated over the past few days, weeks and months. Oh, oops — all these planet-hating pols are Democrats.

Last week, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer announced an “Inflation Reduction Act” whose $485 billion in spending is largely a giveaway to Big Auto. The bill will give families earning up to $300,000 as much as $7,500 in tax credits to purchase electric vehicles. Cars eligible for the credit can cost up to $80,000.

Electric cars emit less carbon than gas cars, yes. They are also cars (and with the eye-watering $80,000 price “cap” on tax credits, more likely large SUVs). They actually pose more danger to pedestrians, as they are quieter and heavier and accelerate faster than regular cars.

Democrats’ monomaniacal insistence on subsidizing EVs points up a truth about the party: It will do anything to maintain the fiction that the United States can substantially reduce carbon emissions without asking middle-class and affluent suburbanites to change their way of life…

University Instructor Charged in Shooting Death of Student

A college instructor in Georgia has been charged with murder in the Saturday shooting death of an 18-year-old student

CARROLTON, Ga. — A university instructor in Georgia has been charged with killing an 18-year-old student who was fatally shot while sitting in a car.

The Carrollton Police Department said in a news release that Richard Sigman, 47, is charged with murder and aggravated assault for the shooting death of Anna Jones, 18. Police said they believe Jones was killed when Sigman shot into a parked car following an argument with a man at a pizza restaurant. The shooting happened shortly after midnight Saturday.

Police said a man told security that Sigman had threatened to shoot him during an argument, and security then asked Sigman to leave. Investigators believe when Sigman left, he walked to the parking deck and started shooting into a parked vehicle, hitting Jones. Friends drove Jones to a hospital where she was pronounced dead, police said…

“The Paths of Poland and Hungary Have Diverged,” Says Polish PM

Russia’s war in Ukraine has caused the Polish and Hungarian governments, previously close allies, to take divergent paths, Poland’s prime minister, Mateusz Morawiecki, has declared in response to remarks by his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orban suggesting that the two sides actually “want exactly the same thing”.

Whereas Warsaw has been one of Kyiv’s strongest allies and advocates, providing large amounts of military and humanitarian aid and calling for tougher sanctions on Russia, Budapest has sought to maintain good relations with Moscow and has opposed some sanctions.

During a visit to Romania last week, Orban admitted that the war had “shaken Polish-Hungarian cooperation, which was [previously] the axis of cooperation in the Visegrad Group”, a Central European alliance that also includes the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Drone Explosion Hits Russia’s Black Sea Fleet Headquarters

KYIV, Ukraine — (AP) — A small explosive device carried by a makeshift drone blew up Sunday at the headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet on the Crimean Peninsula, wounding six people and prompting the cancellation of ceremonies there honoring Russia’s navy, authorities said.

Meanwhile, one of Ukraine’s richest men, a grain merchant, was killed in what Ukrainian authorities said was a carefully targeted Russian missile strike on his home.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the drone explosion in a courtyard at the naval headquarters in the city of Sevastopol. But the seemingly improvised, small-scale nature of the attack raised the possibility that it was the work of Ukrainian insurgents trying to drive out Russian forces.

A Russian lawmaker from Crimea, Olga Kovitidi, told Russian state news agency RIA-Novosti that the drone was launched from Sevastopol itself. She said the incident was being treated as a terrorist act, the news agency said…

Zelensky Frees Convicted Child Rapists, Torturers to Reinforce Depleted Military

After banning virtually his entire political opposition, publishing a blacklist of foreign journalists and academics accused of advancing “Russian propaganda,” and ramming through a law exempting 70% of Ukrainians from workplace protections, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenksy has freed from prison fascist militants convicted of some of the most heinous crimes the country has seen since World War II…

Back in February 2014, when the US-backed Euromaidan coup drove out Ukraine’s democratically elected president, the new regime in Kiev faced a crisis. All across the country, military units and local governments were still filled with ethnic Russians and other supposedly “unpatriotic” elements. Ethnic Russian politicians mostly from the east were branded as “radical deputies” and kidnapped, hunted down or otherwise forced to flee…

When the post-Maidan government refused to give these citizens either a referendum or meaningful representation in the government, two of the eastern regional Oblasts, Donetsk and Lugansk, declared independence.

The post-Maidan government’s crisis of legitimacy grew when Ukrainian military units sent to Donetsk to quell the rebellion ended up defecting… The Ukrainian military remained obstinate, largely refusing to follow Kiev’s orders…

Unable to rely on the Ukrainian military, nor the current police force, which they deemed to be “infiltrated by pro-Russian separatists,” Kiev officially deputized the fascistic paramilitary forces that functioned as street muscle during the Maidan coup…

Along with total impunity, the right-wing paramilitaries were provided with a seemingly endless store of weapons by the US. Then-comedian Zelensky made light of the trend in one of his nationally televised comedy routines. In one especially notable bit, Zelensky played a cop in the post-Maidan police whose sole qualification for the job was being the nephew of the police chief.

In Zelensky’s routine, a hapless unit of rookie cops accidentally blows up an expensive tank. “Don’t worry, America will replace it,” they declare with a casual shrug…

In March 2015, Yuri Birukov, one of the advisors to then-Ukrainian President and billionaire oligarch Petro Poroshenko, stated on Facebook that Ukraine managed to recruit a large number of “alcoholics, dodgers, drug addicts and morons.”

Hindu Schoolgirl Kidnapped, Murdered in Bangladesh; Muslim Murderer Posts Her Death News on Facebook.

Atul Das | HENB | Dhaka | July 31, 2022:: A horrifying incident involved the kidnapping and murder of a girl student from Bangladesh by a suspected jilted Muslim stalker who afterward posted her picture on Facebook, announcing that she had been killed. Anuradha (alias Sima) Sen, a member of a minority Hindu group living in the Bangladeshi district of Sherpur’s Nalitabari Upazila, has been identified as the victim.

As per reports, the kidnapped girl was murdered by the accused, who later shared her picture on her Facebook account with the caption, “there is no need to look for her, She is dead.” Bari Mehdi, the suspected Muslim stalker, who had previously threatened Anuradha’s brother, is thought to be the accused.

The victim who attended Bankura High School had just finished her 10th board examination this year. The criminal who claimed to be calling from her school to provide government funding for her future education abducted her.

On Sunday, July 25, the alleged event took place when the accused allegedly called Anuradha’s mother and requested that she send her to the school to collect the money. Anuradha was one of few unique students who were receiving funding from the government, according to the person who answered the phone.

Radharamn Das of International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) tweeted the matter on July 29, 2022 accordingly. Das raised the question about the World’s silence on Hindu Genocide.

Before murdering Anuradha (Sima), the murderer perhaps took the control of the facebook account of the victim.

Later, the victim girl’s family learned that someone had lured her to the school under false pretenses in order to trap her and kidnap her. The victim girl’s father went to the school and made an attempt to find her. At the Nalitabari police station, he subsequently made a police report.

The girl’s brother then stated that he had recently got a similar call from a man by the name of Bari Mehdi. Anuradha came up in the conversation on the other end. He said that he had fallen in love with the girl after meeting her on Facebook.

Bari Mehdi said to Anuradha’s brother on phone, “Your sister and I connected on Facebook. Afterward, we got close. My mum, your sister and I spoke a lot. I’ve since learned that your sister is involved with someone else. This is unacceptable.”

The victim’s brother told the police that the call he had received that day and the one his mother had received from the same number. According to the sources, it is believed that the accused killed the girl because he thought she would have a relationship with someone else. The investigation is underway into the murder case.

This is another end of the life of a Hindu girl in Islamic Bangladesh by a heinous conspiracy of murdering her under the grip of a Muslim beast so jilted not to get her marry after conversion. If the non-Muslim girl is not availed at ease, the murder is the only way of Muslim peace lovers.

The situation of the minorities in Bangladesh is inexplicable under the rule of Jamati people there.

South Africa: 82 Suspects Arrested After a Mass Rape

Dozens of black men ambushed a film crew at an abandoned mine near Johannesburg on Friday. They raped eight models between the ages of 19 and 35. As they fled, the police shot dead two suspects and 82 other people were arrested.

After a mass rape of eight women, the police in South Africa arrested 82 suspects. Officials were investigating at least 32 rape cases, police in the northern province of Gauteng said on Saturday. Americans Are Moving to Mexico and Mexicans Are Furious

U.S. citizens are moving south of the border because they can’t afford to live here, and Mexicans hilariously are getting tired of it.

One of the new stories sweeping the interwebs is the tale of Californians fleeing the land of plenty and moving to Mexico because California has become too expensive. They are buying cheaper homes down south, and working electronically.

France Defies EU Open Borders Agreement, Renews Border Controls

France has extended border controls that have been in place since 2015 in defiance of the European Union’s open borders Schengen Agreement and a European Court decision that hinted the French policy was unlawful.

The French Council of State gave the go-ahead to renew the border controls — which have been renewed every six months since 2015 — on Wednesday, allowing France to continue to patrol its borders with other European Union (EU) member-states despite France being a party to the controversial open borders Schengen Agreement.

Half of Ukrainian Refugees Seek Jobs in Poland

About half of all Ukrainian refugees who arrived to Poland were looking for jobs, a National Bank of Poland (NBP) survey has found.

About 30 percent were already working or had found a job at the time the survey was carried out and 50 percent were still looking for work. For more than 50 percent of the refugees it was their first visit to Poland.

More Than 800 Migrants Fled Lithuania in July, Up From 500 in June

More than 800 foreigners registered in Lithuania failed to return to their places of accommodation in July after Lithuanians lifted movement restrictions for irregular migrants. There were some 500 such cases in June, the country’s Interior Ministry said on Thursday.

The ministry points out that migrants registered in Lithuania are issued alien registration certificates that do not give them the right to leave Lithuania or to apply for asylum and residence in another EU country, but the majority of irregular migrants who leave accommodation centers in Lithuania try to reach other EU countries.

If they are detained in another EU country, they are then sent back to Lithuania.

Interior Vice Minister Arnoldas Abramavicius says the fact that foreigners fail to return to migrant centers only confirms Lithuanian institutions and services’ prior insights that their main goal is not getting asylum in Lithuania, but traveling to richer Western European countries.

UK Plots Facial Recognition Tech for “Contactless” Border Crossings

The UK is working on facial recognition technology for border screening, under a broader effort dubbed “Permission to Travel.”

The idea is to have contactless border screening.

Once the technology is implemented, people traveling to the UK, including those from EU countries, will be required to upload a selfie on the Home Office’s website. On arrival at a border checkpoint, their face will be scanned for identity verification. The technology eliminates the need to interact with a border officer but raises new privacy concerns.

Biden Admin State Department Hiring Rules & Practices Exclude White Men and Christians

A new rule came down from Joe Biden’s State Department saying that Christians and white men are no longer eligible for open jobs there. And Senator Ted Cruz is furious.

The rule seems to be outlined in the State Department’s new “Equity Action Plan” which recently changed the department’s hiring practices. The changes are so outrageous, that Cruz called it “nothing more than brazen discrimination.”

(The URL to the original news article which was probably in English is not given also in the further link on the page above, although it said the source was dpa in New Delhi. I could not find it with mainstream search engines and various keywords I could come up with. There may be a range of reasons for this.)

      • Lol, that’s funny.

I’ve been using a search engine lately I’ve been very impressed with. When I ran across it I tested it to find a video that had been deleted from YouTube and Brighteon that I had searched for with every other search engine without success. It found it, first on the results list. So far for MY searches, it has been superior to any other.

        It is: neeva.com

They also say they have no tracking and are ad free. I don’t know what their business model is to survive or thrive. But they are fast, at least where I’m at.

When looking up scientific info, kensaq.com has given me good success better than the mainstream search engines. I’ve noticed kensaq is not useful for getting the latest update for the day’s news or events. But it does seem to do a good job on collecting and reporting more static info.

I personally have a ranking of search engines I prefer. Google is last on the list and one I rarely use. But there are some other good ones I like and use a lot, though I’m migrating more towards neeva right now.

PS – I decided to test neeva in searching for an English version of the article you mentioned.

It came up with this, which was published one day before the further link, and had more detail:

  2. Re. Pelosi trip: The above claims that a visit to Taiwan was dropped because of Chinese pressure, but even the accompanying press text does not contain wording which would allow such a deduction. The omission is suggestive, but not conclusive. In a news channel on Telegram it is claimed that she definitely will travel to Taipei on August 2.

We live in interesting times, and we should know by tomorrow how much more interesting it might get…

  4. Regarding the renamed ‘Northern’ Giant Hornet :

The author of the article (Warner Todd Huston) has it wrong – the entomologists didn’t rename it the ‘North American‘ Giant Hornet.

    That’s beside the point, though.

What evokes the fear (but not ‘discrimination’) is the MURDER and the HORNET bits !

Call ’em ‘Martian Murder Hornets’ for all I care … I WILL continue to fear – AND discriminate.

    Wokery induces stupidity and cowardice.
