The Euro Slumps to Parity With the Dollar for First Time in 20 Years

The value of the euro sunk to parity with the U.S. dollar, the lowest level for the European currency since 2002, on Tuesday.

The euro has declined by around 12 percent against the dollar this year as investors worry both over a recession in Europe and further inflation eroding the currencies value. As well, investors around the globe fear that Europe’s economy could be hurt significantly if Russia retaliates by cutting off the west from its energy supplies.

“Time for Trump to Hang Up His Hat” For DeSantis 2024, Says Musk

Authored by Gary Bai via The Epoch Times (emphasis ours)

Elon Musk has taken to Twitter after former U.S. President Donald Trump criticized the Tesla CEO at a rally over the weekend

Trump called Musk “another bull—t artist,” saying that Musk had once told him privately he had won Musk’s vote in 2016, which would conflict with Musk’s public statement in mid-June about having just voted Republican for the first time in the midterm primaries.

“You know what he said the other day? ‘Oh, I’ve never voted for a Republican,’“ Trump said to a full house at the Alaska Airlines Center on Saturday. “I said, ‘I didn’t know that.’ He told me he voted for me. So he’s another bull**t artist.”

Bodega Trade Group Leader Urges NYC Members to Arm Themselves

Bodega trade group leader urged NYC members Tuesday to arm themselves — after meeting with embattled New York City District Attorney Alvin Bragg over his prosecution of clerk Jose Alba, who fatally stabbed a man in self-defense.

“We want to make sure every bodega owner in New York City that is law-abiding, that feels the necessity to carry a licensed gun, to go and apply for it. Why? Because you need to be able to defend yourself,” Fernando Mateo, co-founder of United Bodegas of America, said at a press conference outside the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.

Elon Musk: Rocket Test Explosion ‘Actually Not Good’

An explosion on the launch pad during a test of a massive SpaceX rocket prototype was “actually not good” and the company is assessing the damage, company CEO Elon Musk said on Twitter.

The rocket, an early version of the vehicle SpaceX is calling Starship, could be seen lighting its engines as it remained anchored to its South Texas launch pad in footage captured Monday by NASA Spaceflight, a media outlet with no relation to the space agency. Then, a blaze of uncontrolled flames erupted from the engines, followed by plumes of gray smoke. After the smoke cleared, no visible signs of external damage could be seen from NASA Spaceflight’s livestream.

Musk has long described Starship as the linchpin for SpaceX’s stated goal of getting the first humans to Mars. He’s talked about the vehicle for years, and laid out SpaceX’s evolving plans for its design through several public speaking engagements over the past decade.

Last year, SpaceX also won a $3 billion NASA contract to use Starship for the space agency’s plans to return astronauts to the surface of the moon for the first time in five decades.

Musk explained what he thought went wrong during the engine test in a tweet Monday.

“Cryogenic fuel is an added challenge,” said Musk, referring to the propellant that SpaceX plans to power Starship that must be kept at extremely cold temperatures, “as it evaporates to create fuel-air explosion risk in a partially oxygen atmosphere like Earth…More later.”…

Newspapers garnered a little more, but still only a measly 16 percent.

Hand Sanitizer, Fist Bumps and Gunfire: Key Moments in the Uvalde School Shooting Video

Criticism of the law enforcement response in Uvalde became sharper Tuesday after footage from the school’s hallway, published by the Austin American-Statesman and KVUE-TV, revealed shocking inaction by officers — including a break for hand sanitizer, a fist bump and a hug between officers.

The video, edited to remove children’s screams, is the first to be shown to the public, defying the Uvalde County district attorney’s orders to contain it. State Rep. Dustin Burrows, R-Lubbock, had vowed to release the footage Sunday afternoon after providing families and the Uvalde community an opportunity to see it first, leading many to express outrage over the leak.

The 82-minute video shows the moments between the first call to 911 and police confronting the shooter, who fired at least 142 rounds at Robb Elementary School, according to Texas Department of Public Safety director Steve McCraw. In that time, 19 children and two teachers were killed. At least 17 others were wounded. It was the deadliest school shooting school shooting in Texas history.

NASA’s New Telescope Expands Probability of Intelligent Life in Space, Expert Says: ‘They’re Out There’

Dr. Michio Kaku analyzed stunning new images of galaxies from NASA’s James Webb Space Webb Telescope on “Cavuto: Coast to Coast” Tuesday, arguing it’s a “little bit presumptuous” for humans to think they are the only intelligent creatures in the universe.

DR. MICHIO KAKU: I think these pictures are spectacular, they’re breathtaking. You realize there is a whole universe out there that we have not seen, even with the Hubble Space Telescope. This telescope, the Webb, is 100 times more powerful than the Hubble Space Telescope. If you look at the pictures each dot represents a galaxy. A galaxy of 100 billion stars. So when you look at the entire picture you’re looking at literally a trillion stars. This is incredible. When you look at the night sky, you have a pinpoint of light, a pinpoint of light in the night sky expanded gives you one of these pictures from the Webb space telescope. To think we’re the only intelligent creatures in the universe, looking at the majesty of the pictures is a little bit presumptuous I think.

Gardai arrested them on the afternoon of March 19th last year.

They were charged with criminal damage at Simon Coveney’s department building, Iveagh House, St Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2.

Netherlands Today, ‘Your Country Tomorrow’: German Man Explains Why He Stands With Dutch Farmers

The Dutch government is restricting the rights of its citizens and moving towards a more authoritarian style of rule, and the farmers are fighting back against this tyranny. That’s the reason one German man provided when he was asked why he was supporting the Dutch Farmer Rebellion.

“We see that the Dutch government is taking more and more away from our lives and it’s going toward a dictatorial system,” the man, identified only as Hans, said. “We have to draw a line in the sand and these days, the farmers do that. They take the initiative and that’s why I back them up, because if we don’t draw a line in the sand now, they will continue taking more and more of our property, of our land, of our houses and of our lives.”

Tour De France Protests: Bradley Wiggins Blasted for “Imbeciles” And “Great Scenes” Comments; ‘Teaching a Child to Punish a Cyclist?’

Stage ten of the Tour de France came to a screeching halt earlier on the road to Megève, as a group of protesters sat in the road, placed nooses around their necks, and lit pyrotechnics, forcing the race to be paused for over ten minutes.

The climate change protest group Dernière Rénovation, who also staged a demonstration at last month’s French Open(link is external), claimed the protest, writing on their website: “Non-violent disruption is our last chance to be heard and avoid the worst consequences of global warming.

“The reality is that the world to which politicians are sending us is a world in which the Tour de France can no longer exist. In this world, we will be busy fighting to feed ourselves and to save our families.”

As the French police attempted to clear the protesters, 2012 Tour de France winner Sir Bradley Wiggins, reporting for Eurosport and GCN from the back of a motorbike, described the scenes to viewers at home.

“There’s obviously been a demonstration, much like they had in the UK a couple of months ago with the imbeciles sat in the road,” Wiggins said.

UK: Car Thefts ‘Effectively Decriminalised’ In London as Less Than One Per Cent of Criminals Charged

Theft from cars have become “effectively decriminalised” in London according to experts after it was revealed that the Metropolitan Police made charges in less than one per cent of vehicle thefts in the capital last year.

Out of the nearly 55,000 thefts from vehicles in London last year, Scotland Yard only solved 271, representing just an 0.5 per cent success rate, according to an analysis of Home Office data conducted by The Telegraph. Due to the scale of the London metropolitan area and its relatively high crime rate, the number of vehicle thefts recorded by police represented nearly one in four of all those recorded in England and Wales.

‘We Want Truth, Not Revenge’ — Polish President Commemorates Anniversary of 1943 Volhynia Massacre of Poles by Ukrainian Nationalists

Polish President Andrzej Duda speaking at a commemoration of the 79th anniversary of the Volhynia massacre in Warsaw has appealed for truth as the basis for reconciliation.

He said that “the truth about this genocide must be clearly and forcefully stated” but not for the sake of revenge.

“We want truth, we want graves,” he added.

On July 11, 1943, Poles were killed en masse in the Volhynia area, which had been occupied by the Germans. The killings of civilians were, however, carried out by Ukrainian forces loyal to their leader Stepan Bandera. The killings are considered a genocide against ethnic Poles because the objective was ethnic cleansing of the Polish minority from that region. More than 100,000 people were killed, with 40,000 to 60,000 killed by their Ukrainian neighbors.

Ukraine War Round-Up: Kyiv’s Rocket Attack and US Says Iran to Give Russia Drones

Claim and counter-claim have followed a Ukrainian rocket attack on a city in the occupied Kherson region of southern Ukraine, apparently involving US-supplied missiles.

Ukraine’s military said it had destroyed a Russian ammunition depot in the city of Nova Kakhovka, killing dozens of soldiers.

However, Russian occupation officials say homes and warehouses storing fertiliser were hit, leaving five dead and up to 80 wounded.

It was not possible to verify the extent of damage or casualties.

Reports from both sides indicate a US-made Himars rocket system was used in the attack.

Unconfirmed footage of several powerful explosions was shared on social media.

A Russian-installed official in the southern Kherson region, Katerina Gubareva, accused Ukraine of bombing “peaceful cities with American weapons”.

Himars is far more accurate than Russia’s equivalent systems and is already being credited with a string of recent attacks deep into Russian-held territory…

India Projected to Surpass China as World’s Most Populous Country During 2023: UN Report.

Muslims will cross the 25% mark of total population in India by 2025 if the Population Control Law is not enforced. Otherwise, the Jihadi menace will put more pressure upon majority Hindus!

Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | July 12, 2022:: In a revealing report of the UN (United Nations) on global demography it is exposed that the population explosion in India will surpass the population of China by 2023. Experts in India say that such increase of population in India will put enormous trouble on safety, security and prosperity of the country including a Jihadi rise to harm the majority Hindu population in many respect if the Population Control Act is promulgated on urgent basis.

In this UN report as published on Monday, India is projected to surpass China as the world’s most populous country next year, which said that the world population is forecast to reach eight billion by mid-November 2022.

The World Population Prospects 2022 by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Population Division, said that the global population is projected to reach eight billion on November 15, 2022.

Specifically, the report warns that “More than half of the projected increase in the global population up to 2050 will be concentrated in eight countries: the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines and the United Republic of Tanzania”.

Such ‘Growth concentrated in eight countries’ obviously hints the huge Muslim population increase in global perspective and obviously India which will be a play ground the Jihad proliferation in the connected fields pushing out the majority Hindus incidentally.

The global population is growing at its slowest rate since 1950, having fallen under 1% in 2020.

The latest projections by the United Nations suggest that the world’s population could grow to around 8.5 billion in 2030 and 9.7 billion in 2050.

It is projected to reach a peak of around 10.4 billion people during the 2080s and to remain at that level until 2100…

World Economic Forum Calls for the Metaverse to Have Rules and Standards

It’s no secret, and the World Economic Forum (WEF) certainly isn’t trying to keep it a secret, that this Davos-based group has a special interest in the development of the metaverse, and in making sure the key role in shaping it should be had by the elites.

This has been clear at least since this spring’s WEF summit when a lot was said and written about the metaverse, and now a fresh blog post on WEF’s site, titled, “The metaverse paradox: Why the industry needs better standardization,” revisits this topic.

Like the title suggests, the main point here is metaverse standardization — in other words, the push to position elites as those defining and directing standardization efforts, in that way seizing control over an emerging technology early on, and, like one in their position does, never letting go of it again.

  1. Once in 2014, in LiveJournal with an educated Kievan, I discussed the topic of the murder of Polish professors by Ukrainian students. To which he said that the Polish professors deserved it because of their arrogance towards the Ukrainians.

In general, it all started when, after the collapse of the USSR, Ukrainians began to look for a new identity. They abandoned our common victories and achievements, called it oppression and genocide, and made Bandera a hero even in those territories where he was hated and considered a criminal.

  2. Continuing my comment.
You know what’s the funniest thing? That only a small part of the Ukrainians are guilty of crimes against the Poles in Volhynia. The part that previously belonged to the Russian Empire has nothing to do with this. But EVERYONE will repent before the Poles. Because they shouted “Bandera is our father.”

The government and C intend to break immigration records this year

    https://www.friatider.se/regeringen-och-c-tanker-sla-invandringsrekord-i-ar

Published 12 July 2022 in Fria Tider

The government is lying when it claims to be conducting immigration at the “EU minimum level” and is in fact planning a subsidy immigration which, under the name of “labour immigration”, will make immigration as a whole break records this year. This as a result of an agreement between the S and Annie Lööf (C) [the Centre Party].

    – The unreasonable system remains in place because the Center Party is standing in the way, says LO economist Torbjörn Hållö to Fokus.

The year after the asylum chaos of 2015, when Sweden received 162,788 illegally entered immigrants seeking asylum, the latest record was broken.

According to Morgan Johansson, Sweden has since shaken things up and now has “one of the tightest refugee laws in the EU” and is pursuing “the tightest migration policy in 40 years”, writes the magazine Fokus.

However, these are all lies, and in fact the population change has continued unabated, with around 100,000 residence permits issued since the record years of 2015 and 2016.

“Since Sweden ‘tightened’ its migration policy, we have thus received more than 700,000 immigrants, which is roughly equivalent to Gothenburg and Jönköping combined. And what does it look like so far in 2022? It looks like we’re heading for a new record,” Focus notes.

In the first half of 2022, 86,685 residence permits were granted, which means 173,370 residence permits by the end of the year if the current pace continues. This is a new record and far surpasses the peak year of the asylum chaos in 2016, when most immigrants in 2015 were granted residence permits.

Only 37,000 of the new arrivals this year are from Ukraine. The rest, i.e. the majority, are so-called labour migrants (24,586 people) and family migrants (12,045 people) – two categories entirely dominated by low-skilled individuals from the Third World.

In practice, this is subsidy immigration on a large scale,” says Focus expert, Samira Aqil, an investigator at the National Board of Health and Welfare.

    – Foreign nationals who have a residence permit or the right to stay may be entitled to financial assistance, he says.

LO economist Torbjörn Hållö also gives his opinion in an interview with the magazine. He recalls that the system of calling subsidy immigration “labour immigration” came about when the Green Party and Fredrik Reinfeldt (M) agreed on this arrangement in 2008. Today, the Moderates do not want to know about the deal and most parties want to fix the problem – but Annie Lööf and the Center Party are blocking all attempts from right to left.

    – The unreasonable system remains because the Center Party is at odds. Their liberal labour immigration policy was included as an important point in the January agreement and they are sticking to it, says Torbjörn Hållö to Fokus.

  4. Odessa has always been a Russian city. In which there was a place for everyone – both Russians and Ukrainians and Jews and Greeks …
    ——————–
In Odessa, the monument to Catherine the Great can be replaced with a sculpture of a porn actor

More than 25,000 votes were received by a petition whose author proposes to replace the monument to the Russian Empress Catherine II with a monument to the American pornographic actor Billy Herrington.

“A monument project is being proposed where actor Billy Herrington will sit at the bar with a bottle of beer. In this way, we will win on several points at once,” — The text of the petition says published on the website of Zelensky’s office.

The appeal noted that Catherine II (who at the end of the 18th century, 228 years ago, signed a decree on the construction of Odessa. Editor’s note) is a debatable historical figure who caused great damage to Ukrainian statehood and culture. According to the author of the petition, the installation of a monument to the porn actor will mark a “clear signal” about Ukraine’s support for the LGBT community. In addition, this sculpture will become a popular tourist attraction.

The author of the petition explains that Catherine II is a controversial figure who caused great harm to the statehood and culture of Ukraine.
“The very fact of erecting this monument was a terrible mistake, and every day of its further existence signals that Odessa is in the zone of Russian cultural influence. It’s time to change this,” says Matveev and proposes to install a sculpture of Gerrington, an actor, on the site of the monument to Catherine II. who starred in porn movies in the 90s.

…There is another petition on the President’s website regarding the monument to Catherine II. The author Stefaniya Tsegelnyk proposes to demolish it: “Stop allocating millions of hryvnias for the maintenance of the monument to the one that contributed to the genocide of the Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar peoples

    https://en.rua.gr/2022/07/12/in-odessa-the-monument-to-catherine-the-great-can-be-replaced-with-a-sculpture-of-a-porn-actor/

This is very funny, because for the most part Ukrainians were driven into slavery by the Crimean Tatars, and their women were made into sex slaves.
Catherine the Great put an end to this state, which brought so much grief to the Ukrainians themselves.

Moreover, the Ukrainians themselves fought on the side of the Russian army.
