A man carrying a handgun and a rifle entered a medical building in Tulsa, Oklahoma, told passersby he was looking for Dr. Phillips, and then started shooting. He killed three people before taking his own life as police arrived. It is not yet known whether a Dr. Phillips is among the killer’s victims.

25% of Americans Are Delaying Retirement Due to Inflation, Survey Finds
Americans’ finances are being squeezed as inflation pushes up prices on things such as rent, groceries and gasoline.
As a result, one-quarter of Americans will have to delay their retirement, according to the BMO Real Financial Progress Index, a quarterly survey conducted between March 30 and April 25.
Putting off retirement plans is mostly due to disrupted savings from increased prices, the survey found. Thirty-six percent of survey respondents have reduced their savings and 21% are putting away less for retirement in order to keep up with growing costs, according to the survey.

Poland: Inflation Breaks Records After Soaring to 13.9%, Economists Warn of Further Increases
In the biggest blow to the Polish economy since February 1998, inflation across the country reached 13.9 percent in May, as the continuing conflict in Ukraine and unfavorable weather led to huge increases in energy bills and food costs.
According to the latest data from Statistics Poland (GUS), prices of consumer goods and services increased by 13.9 percent compared to the same period a year earlier. This represents a serious acceleration compared to April this year when inflation was at 12.4 percent. Such a rate of price increases was expected by analysts, and it may determine the anticipated rise of interest rates to be determined by a meeting of the Polish Monetary Policy Council on June 8.

“Pretend to Work Somewhere Else”: Elon Musk Says All Tesla Employees Must Return to the Office
As some companies try and delicately walk the line between returning to the office and offering “work from home” benefits to their employees in a post-Covid world, Elon Musk has taken a stance without quite as much nuance.
“Anyone who wishes to do remote work must be in the office for a minimum (and I mean *minimum*) of 40 hours per week or depart Tesla,” Musk wrote in a company email that was leaked this week.

The Washington, D.C.-based PAC funded by billionaire George Soros has received another $1 million more to help re-elect incumbent Contra Costa D.A. Diana Becton and defeat her challenger, Deputy D.A. Mary Knox. According to two campaign finance reports on Netfile.com submitted by the California Justice & Public Safety PAC date May 28, Soros contributed $652,000, the Smart Justice California Action Fund contributed $300,000 and M. Quinn Delaney of Piedmont contributed $50,000.
According to their website, Smart Justice California is “an alliance of donors and funders…helping to change the belief that prosecutors must be incarceration-driven by engaging voters and establishing a statewide candidate pipeline of justice reform champions.”
The report lists Delaney as retired. But according to the organization’s website, she “is the Founder and Board Chair of Akonadi Foundation, which supports the development of powerful social change movements to eliminate structural racism and create a racially just society. The Foundation funds primarily in Oakland with a focus on ending the criminalization of people of color.”

California Votes to End Mandatory Reporting on Students Who Threaten Schools
The California State Senate voted Thursday to end a requirement that students who threaten violence against school officials be reported.
Before the California law was passed, existing law stated that whenever a school official is “attacked, assaulted, or physically threatened by any pupil,” staff was “required to promptly report the incident to specified law enforcement authorities.” The new bill repealed this requirement.

Doctor Pushes Back Against California’s Medical Misinformation Policy
As previously reported, the California legislature wants to pass a “medical misinformation bill,” aka Assembly Bill 2098. The law would ban doctors from giving medical advice and treatment not approved by the state.
Put simply, the bill bans doctors in California from criticizing vaccines and alternative treatments not approved for Covid like ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, particularly online.
One doctor, Syed Haider, has been forced to retain a lawyer because of his support of such treatments.

DOJ Asks Court to Reinstate COVID Mask Mandate on Public Transportation
The Department of Justice on Tuesday asked a federal appeals court to overturn a district judge’s ruling that ended the Biden administration’s transportation mask mandate, Reuters reported.
Shortly after the a Florida judge struck down the mandate in April, the DOJ signaled it would file an appeal if the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention deemed masks necessary.
The judge found in April that the transportation mask mandate, which applied to airline and train passengers as young as 2-years-old, was unlawful.
In an appeal filed hours before the deadline, the Justice Department argued that the CDC’s 2021 mask mandate was “within” the health agency’s legal authority.

Dystopian Viral Videos Stream Out of Decaying New York City
As the Big Apple rots, dystopian videos stream out of New York City almost daily. They range from disturbing to surreal, and like a bloody car crash, they are almost impossible to look away from.
A video of a man being held by one man and as others beat him on a New York subway platform has been making the rounds. But this isn’t merely your average clip of an Asian being attacked in Gotham. In a twist, the man holding the victim from behind told the videographer that his captive had attempted to sexually assault a female passenger on a subway. The videographer then called the police.
This would have been fine if the story ended there, but it didn’t.

Emboldened by Democrat Law, Criminals Won’t Pull Over for Cops as WA Crime Surges
Law enforcement agencies in Washington are reporting a high number of instances where criminal suspects refuse to pull over during investigations because of a Democrat anti-policing bill. Many times, the suspects are in stolen cars.
The sheriffs in Pierce, Snohomish, and Chelan counties say the problem is rampant. The Washington State Patrol says troopers encountered nearly 1,000 instances of suspects refusing to pull over, according to the Northwest News Network. Lakewood PD experiences daily refusals to pull over.

Mirsad Kandic Faces Up to Life Imprisonment for Becoming an ISIS Fighter, Recruiting Other ISIS Fighters, and Providing Weapons, Equipment, and Battlefield Intelligence to ISIS
A New York man was found guilty by a federal jury in Brooklyn, following a three-week trial before U.S. District Judge Nicholas G. Garaufis, of one count of conspiracy to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), and five substantive counts of providing material support to ISIS.
According to court documents and evidence presented at trial, Mirsad Kandic, 40, of Brooklyn, New York, and Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, was a high-ranking member of ISIS, a designated foreign terrorist organization. He had multiple responsibilities within the global terrorist organization, including recruiting foreign fighters, trafficking foreign fighters from the West through Turkey and into Syria, and obtaining weapons, military equipment, maps, money, and false identifications for ISIS fighters. In carrying out these responsibilities, the defendant worked directly with ISIS emirs and battlefield commanders, including Bajro Ikanovic, who commanded an ISIS training camp in Syria beginning in or around 2014. Ikanovic, in turn, reported to Omar Shishani, then the top military commander for ISIS, and a key advisor to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who was, at the time, the leader of ISIS and the self-declared Caliph of the Islamic State.

A gunman who stormed a medical building in Tulsa targeting a specific doctor killed three people before he turned the gun on himself.
At least four people, including the gunman by self-inflicted gunshot, were killed in a shooting at Natalie Building at St Francis Hospital in Tulsa, City Council Jayme Fowler told reporters on Wednesday.
An unidentified gunman, armed with both a rifle and a handgun, allegedly told multiple people to clear the medical center and that he was looking for a ‘Dr. Phillips’ at time of shooting.
Police confirmed that the gunman killed three people and left one person in critical condition before he turned the gun on himself.
It is not clear if the doctor the gunman targeted was among the victims…

Johnny Depp Wins Defamation Case Against Amber Heard in Split Decision
In a hell of a twist at 3 p.m. on Wednesday a jury in the Johnny Depp v. Amber Heard case teased the public with a verdict that wasn’t filled out properly. Judge Penney Azcarate sent them back to add damages to their verdict sheet, to the groans of spectators everywhere. But they were only gone for a few minutes and returned with a verdict in favor of Depp on all counts. The jury awarded Depp a total of $15 million (due to a cap on Virginia’s punitive damages, the award was reduced by the judge to a total of $10,350,000).

Judge Grants Reagan Shooter John Hinckley Jr. Unconditional Release
A federal judge on Wednesday granted would-be President Ronald Reagan assassin John Hinckley Jr. a full, unconditional release, roughly 40 years after he shot Reagan outside a Washington, D.C., hotel.
U.S. District Court Judge Paul Friedman said in granting the released that Hinkley’s journey from hospital detention to conditional release to now has been a “long road.”
The judge’s order takes effect June 15, according to Fox News.

Judge Hands New York Man Longer Sentence for ISIS Support, FBI Attack
A federal judge on Tuesday increased her sentence for a New York City man who planned to join Islamic State and attacked an FBI agent to 25 years on Tuesday, after a federal appeals court called the original 17-year sentence “shockingly low.”
Fareed Mumuni, 27, pleaded guilty in 2017 to discussing plans to travel overseas to join the militant group also known as ISIS and trying to stab an FBI agent after authorities arrived at his residence in the New York City borough of Staten Island in 2015 to execute a search warrant.

According to a new poll, the majority of Americans believe that having armed, properly trained teachers would make schools safer.

New Lancet Study Destroys the CDC’s Justification for School Mask Mandates
The Lancet, a world-renown medical journal, is out with a new study debunking a highly-cited CDC study that was used to support mask mandates in schools.
Specifically, the study not only replicates the CDC study, which found a “negative association” between masks and pediatric cases of Covid-19, it also extends the study to include more districts over a longer period of time. In the end, the new study had nearly “six times as much data as the original study.”
“Replicating the CDC study shows similar results; however, incorporating a larger sample and longer period showed no significant relationship between mask mandates and case rates,” the study finds.

Seattle Police Stopped Investigating New Adult Sexual Assaults This Year, Memo Shows
Seattle police’s sexual assault and child abuse unit staff has been so depleted that it stopped assigning to detectives this year new cases with adult victims, according to an internal memo sent to interim police Chief Adrian Diaz in April.
The unit’s sergeant put her staffing crisis in stark terms.

Shocking Moment 16-Year-Old Girl is Stabbed in the Shoulder While Entering a Deli in Brooklyn
A 16-year-old Brooklyn girl was stabbed in broad daylight while entering a deli, as crime soars in New York City.
Shocking footage from the May 22 incident released by the NYPD on Wednesday shows the teenager entering the Urban Juice Bar & Grill in Brownsville.
A man dressed in gray sweatpants and a black shirt with a white lion in the back can be seen pulling over a knife and stabbing the victim in the left shoulder.
The perpetrator then fled the scene. The girl was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center and has since been released, the New York Post reported.

Supreme Court Temporarily Blocks Texas Social Media Anti-Censorship Law

The Supreme Court voted 5-4 late on May 31 to temporarily block a Texas law that prevents social media platforms from censoring users based on their political views.
Known as HB 20, the state law makes it unlawful for tech platforms to restrict or remove content based on “the viewpoint of the user or another person” or “the viewpoint represented in the user’s expression.”
The statute also requires the platforms to establish procedures users can use to appeal a platform’s decision to “remove content posted by the user.” The law applies to platforms that have more than 50 million active monthly users in the United States.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, signed the bill in September 2021.
The case is Netchoice v. Paxton, court file 21A720.
The applicants are two trade associations representing big tech—Netchoice and the Computer and Communications Industry Association (CCIA). The respondent is Ken Paxton, a Republican who is the attorney general of Texas.

Suspended Disinformation Board Chief Says it Could Have Helped Reduce Mass Shootings
Speaking after the recent Uvalde school shooting in Texas, The DHS’ Disinformation Governance Board’s former executive director Nina Jankowicz has suggested that the board, colloquially dubbed by many the “Ministry of Truth,” could have helped address mass shootings in the country. The DHS paused the board’s work three weeks ago, just three weeks after it was announced.
“I think another example that’s important, that’s also within the Department’s portfolio, especially given the events of the past few weeks, is that disinformation plays a role in radicalizing people to violence,” Jankowicz said during an interview on NPR’s podcast “Fresh Air.”

Video: White House Says Executive Action on Gun Control Coming
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre declared Tuesday that “executive actions” on gun control are being looked at by the Biden administration.

‘White Identified’ WA College Staff Joined Radical Anti-Racist Political Workshop
A group of far-left educators hosted high-level college staff for a two-day workshop on dismantling racism and becoming anti-racist educators. It was geared towards “white-identifying folks with European ancestry and people who benefit from white privilege.” When one staff member chided the workshop, the educators mocked her.

Woman Injured in Brooklyn Subway Shooting Sues Gun Manufacturer Glock
Lawsuit says Glock should be held liable because it ‘endangered the public health and safety’ with marketing and sales of its guns
A woman wounded in last month’s mass shooting on a New York City subway car filed a lawsuit Tuesday against Glock, the maker of the handgun allegedly used in the attack.
Ilene Steur, 49, was one of 10 people hurt by direct gunfire when she was hit by a bullet in her buttocks during her commute to work on 12 April.
Her lawsuit against the Austrian gun manufacturer, filed as a federal lawsuit in Brooklyn, claims that Glock should be held liable because it “endangered the public health and safety” with the marketing, distribution and sales of its guns. It accuses the firearm manufacturer of “reckless disregard for human life”.
A man charged in the attack, Frank James, is described a “Black nationalist” in the complaint. He has pleaded not guilty to terrorism and other counts after turning himself in.
Prosecutors allege James set off smoke canisters and then fired a 9mm Glock handgun at least 33 times inside the crowded subway car. In addition to the 10 people wounded in the attack, 13 others were injured by smoke inhalation and in the ensuing chaos.
Steur’s lawsuit accuses Glock of “marketing that emphasizes firearm characteristics such as their high capacity and ease of concealment, that appeal to prospective purchasers with criminal intent”…

1,600 Soldiers Sideswiped by Military Vaccine Requirement

CRTC Confirms Internet Bill C-11 Will Regulate User Content
The chair of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has confirmed that the Trudeau government’s Bill C-11 would crack down on user content — contrary to the government’s own testimony.

NDP Push for Nationwide Drug Decriminalization After BC Given Go-Ahead
Jagmeet Singh and his party are pushing for a nationwide solution to the drug crisis after BC was given the federal go-ahead to try a health-based approach.
On Tuesday, BC announced that it had received an exemption from Health Canada, allowing the province to decriminalize drugs and treat the crisis as a health issue.

Toronto Police Revokes Vaccine Mandate for Serving Members
The Toronto Police Service (TPS) is rescinding its Covid vaccination policy for members currently on unpaid leave and inviting them back to work on Jun. 21.
TPS spokesperson Allison Sparkes confirmed the removal of the policy to True North in an emailed statement.
“The Service’s decision to rescind its COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Requirement was made in response to the current public health and occupational health context of the pandemic and the unique nature of its work and workplaces. Approximately 99% of our members are fully vaccinated and new hires are required to be fully vaccinated.”

French Police Ambushed by Violent Mob While Arresting Teen Suspect
Police in France were attacked by a large mob hurling projectiles while attempting to arrest a teen suspect last week, according to reports.
The harrowing incident unfolded at around 4:15 p.m. on Thursday afternoon in Bron, a commune in the Lyon metro region.
Officers spotted a young male riding a scooter erratically and attempted to pull him over.

Fuel Rationing May be Coming to Europe
The current energy crisis could be one of the worst and longest in history and Europe could be hit particularly hard, the head of the International Energy Agency, Fatih Birol, said on Tuesday.
In an interview with German magazine Der Spiegel, Birol said that the fallout from the events in Ukraine is likely to make the current energy crisis worse than the crises of the 1970s.
“Back then it was all about oil. Now we have an oil crisis, a gas crisis and an electricity crisis at the same time,” Birol told the publication, adding that before the ongoing events in Ukraine, Russia was “a cornerstone of the global energy system: the world’s largest oil exporter, the world’s largest gas exporter, a leading supplier of coal.”

Hungary Was Right to Demand Oil Embargo Exemption, Says Dutch PM
A day after member states approved the European Union’s sixth embargo package against Russia, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte acknowledged that Hungary, Czechia and Slovakia cannot function without the crude oil they receive from Russia via pipelines.
“It is true that [Orban] very much pleaded for an exemption temporarily for Hungary, but also for the Czechs and Slovaks. But at the same time, they have this issue where we always acknowledged that there was a problem with the fact [that] they are very much dependent on Russian oil,” Rutte told Politico.
Only a few days prior, Rutte had told journalists during an interview with CNBC that although Hungary was opposed to the sixth EU sanctions package, it would eventually adopt it.

The NGO HateAid developed an app called “ReportHeroes” that can be used by the public to report instances of “digital violence,” including “hate speech,” defamation, and racism.

Spain: Marriages Plummeted by Nearly 50 Per Cent During First Year of Pandemic
In 2020, the first year of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic, Spain saw its marriage rate fall by nearly half, a decrease significantly higher than many other European nations during the same period.

wo young men have been stabbed to death in separate incident in London as the capital prepared for the four-day Platinum Jubilee bank holiday.
Police were first called to reports of a stabbing in Neasden, north west London, at around 6.30pm.
A man believed to be in his mid-20s was found injured in the street and, despite the best efforts of paramedics, was pronounced dead at the scene around 45 minutes later.
A police cordon has been erected around Henderson Close and a number of local roads have been closed to traffic.
The man’s next of kin has not been informed and no arrests have been made as of yet, police have said.
A large presence of emergency services and a police cordon are also in attendance at an incident in Woolwich, south east London, this evening…

WHO Suffers Defeat as Countries Massively Oppose Globalist Plans
Last week the World Health Assembly was held in Geneva. The member states of the World Health Organization (WHO) met on controversial amendments to the International Health Regulations, among other things.
Countries such as Australia, Britain and the United States expressed support for the amendments and called on other countries to do the same, effectively giving away their sovereignty, writes Australian MP Stephen Andrew.
However, countries are massively opposing the plans of the globalists. “Great news!” announced Andrew. On May 25, Africa Day, Botswana read a statement on behalf of 47 African member states. The country said it would not support the “reforms”, which Africans are very concerned about.
Other countries also expressed reservations about the amendments and expressed no support, including Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Iran and Malaysia. Brazil said it would rather leave the WHO than subject its people to the new amendments.

Israel and UAE Sign Historic Free-Trade Agreement
Israel and the United Arab Emirates signed a free trade agreement on Tuesday in Dubai. The deal is the first of its kind between Israel and an Arab state.
Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid hailed the agreement, calling it historic, and thanked Israel’s Economy and Industry Minister Orna Barbivai for her contribution to achieving it. Barbivai attended the signing ceremony in Dubai, together with her UAE counterpart Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri and UAE Minister for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.
Barbivai said on Monday that customs duties will be eliminated on 96 percent of products, including food, agriculture, cosmetics, medical equipment and medicine, according to Reuters.

Blinken Warns of “Many Months” of Russia-Ukraine Conflict Ahead
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the United States was arming Ukraine in anticipation of a long conflict ahead.
Washington: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Wednesday that Ukraine had promised not to use new long-range missiles to strike inside of Russia as he warned of “many months” of conflict ahead.
“The Ukrainians have given us assurances that they will not use these systems against targets on Russian territory,” Blinken told a joint news conference with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg.
“There is a strong trust bond between Ukraine and the United States, as well as with our allies and partners,” he said.
The United States said Tuesday that it will supply Ukraine with advanced missile systems, including the Himars multiple-launch rocket system that can simultaneously launch multiple precision-guided missiles.
President Joe Biden said that the United States would not support attacks inside of Russia, which quickly warned of greater risks of conflict between Washington and Moscow.

Czechia: 85% of Ukrainian Refugees Have Stayed in the Country
Approximately 1,000 Ukrainian refugees are leaving Czechia every day, but still around 300,000 of the original 350,000 asylum seekers to arrive during the conflict in Ukraine remain in the country, according to Interior Minister Vit Rakusan.
Rakusan, who is also the country’s deputy prime minister, also revealed that a similar figure was still arriving in the country on a daily basis, and explained around half of the 50,000 that have departed the Czech Republic actually went home to Ukraine, with others traveling on to other countries, mostly Germany.
The Czech interior minister stated that 80-85 percent of refugees have stayed in Czechia while the numbers of arrivals and exits are balanced. It is, however, hard to ascertain an exact number of people leaving because the Czech Republic does not lie on the external Schengen border.

Liberty Tech Charter School announced that SEL would be mandatory for all students in the 2022-2023 school year in a May 16 email from a guidance counselor after allowing them the previous year, according to a Tuesday release by Parents Defending Education (PDE), a national grassroots organization dedicated to “promoting the restoration of a healthy, non-political education.” The school sent emails about the implementation of SEL over the course of the 2021-2022 school year and said it would be selecting one of three SEL courses.

The Fairfax County school board has attracted droves of outraged parents after postponing their vote on proposed changes to school sex-ed classes until June 16th.
