Germany’s Top Banking Chief Warns of Bankruptcy Tsunami Amid Stagflation Threats

A tsunami of bankruptcies could batter Europe’s largest manufacturing hub as stagflation risks mount due to the conflict in Ukraine and resulting Western sanctions on Russian fossil fuels.

“The energy supply in Germany is at risk, supply chains are breaking down, we have high inflation,” said Commerzbank Chief Executive Officer Manfred Knof, who German newspaper Handelsblatt recently quoted.

The threat of stagflation in Germany is elevated as soaring energy prices increase inflation and wreak havoc on businesses. Germany could experience a downturn if an embargo on Russian fossil fuels, such as natural gas, crude, and coal, is enforced.

All age groups show similar perception of the decrease in the standard of living (ranging from 66 to 68 percent). In terms of income, almost all income groups point out to the worsening of their situation (66 to 71 percent).

Anti-CRT Candidates Win Dallas-Area School Elections, Say Former Teachers ‘In Disbelief’ Over Woke Curriculum

Parents who ran campaigns against teaching critical race theory won Dallas-area school board elections, telling “Fox & Friends First” Monday that residents are rejecting politics in classrooms and “sexualization” of curriculum.

“We knocked on 9,000 doors. So you can imagine we had literally hundreds of conversation with parents, whether they just moved here or lived here for a long time were empty-nesters. Choice Quotes From Bill Gates’s New Book

Imagine … a talkative guy… You gradually come to realize that he is actually crazy. His main point is wrong and so his solutions are wrong too…

In a nutshell, that’s what it’s like to read Bill Gates’s new book How to Prevent the Next Pandemic…

To him, the single goal of all public health is to keep the population away from as many germs as possible.

So yes, I’m sorry to report that the entire book is a study in mysophobia [an abnormal fear of dirt or contamination], more worthy of study by a student of abnormal psychology than a public health official, much less a scientist…

To be at such a dinner party with a person like this, … means breathing a huge sigh of relief once you are in the car headed home.

In any case, we all know that Gates is a main promoter and funder of lockdown ideology…

Here is what the book says [a dozen and a half quotes on lockdowns such as]

“The human suffering caused by these separations is incalculable, literally—no one can put a number on the pain of not being able to say goodbye in person. But the policy saved so many lives that it will be worth adopting again” …

He seems to be saying that in an ideal world, we would live with rolling lockdowns forever, on the say-so of experts in his pay. Indeed, he proposes the creation of a new division of the World Health Organization, staffed with 3,000 employees…

Just in case you think this is about helping sick people to get well, Gates corrects you: “You might have noticed one obvious activity that’s missing… treating patients. That’s by design.”

Cruz, Steel Lead Brief in Harvard Race Admissions Supreme Court Case: ‘Heavy Toll on Asian-American Students’

EXCLUSIVE: Senate and House Republicans joined together to file a brief in a closely watched case before the Supreme Court dealing with Harvard and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s (UNC) use of race in admissions decisions, which they argue is illegal.

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Rep. Michelle Steel, R-Calif., are leading a joint amicus brief signed by 82 Republican lawmakers in the case brought by Students for Fair Admissions. The Republicans write in the brief that Harvard and UNC’s admissions policies “intentionally divide applicants by race.”

“Race-conscious admissions decisions inflict a heavy toll on Asian-American students. Treating them differently because of their race is a stark departure from equal protection decisions issued early on by this Court, which guarded Chinese immigrants from racial prejudice. And the burdens imposed on petitioner illustrate a wider trend. Asian-Americans are increasingly victimized by discriminatory practices,” the lawmakers say in their brief.

Defiant GOP Mayor Whose Rally Was Attacked by Antifa Plans to Take Back Portland: ‘it’s Not Funny Anymore’

The Oregon gubernatorial candidate whose campaign event in Portland was disrupted last weekend by members of Antifa laid out to Fox News Digital his plan to help his state and restore order to its largest city, which has seen soaring rates of crime amid an exodus of police in recent years.

Stan Pulliam, 40, is serving his second term as mayor of Sandy, Oregon, his hometown of approximately 10,000 people about 27 miles east of Portland. In the crowded field of 19 people vying to become Oregon’s first Republican governor in 35 years, he remains one of the leading candidates ahead of the May 17 primary.

On April 30, the resource-strapped Portland Police Bureau (PPB) reportedly took more than 20 minutes to respond to an emergency call after masked, black-clad members of Antifa allegedly assaulted Pulliam’s campaign event just blocks from police headquarters in downtown Portland.

But the following five prosecutors have earned notoriety as the worst in America based on vital criteria—public safety, fidelity to the rule of law, personal integrity, leadership, responsible innovations, community relations, office morale, and teamwork with other players in the criminal-justice system. (The list extends beyond just five individuals because some jurisdictions have suffered under the policies of multiple prosecutors.)

Trial to Start for Driver Who Ran Down Times Square Tourists

NEW YORK (AP) — The man behind the wheel of the car that barreled through crowds of pedestrians in New York City’s Times Square, killing a woman and injuring 22 other people, is finally headed to trial after various delays over five years, including pandemic-induced court shutdowns.

UNC Journalism School Downgraded to Provisional Accreditation in the Wake of DEI Concerns

The Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC) recently voted to downgrade the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill’s Hussman School of Journalism and Media to “provisional accreditation” status, according to an email written by Interim Dean Heidi Hennink-Kaminski to school faculty.

The change is due to the ACEJMC’s concerns regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) at the school, especially in the wake of journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones turning down a tenured position because of administrative controversy surrounding her hiring. In 2021, Hannah-Jones was hired as the Knight Chair in Race and Investigative Journalism but was originally only offered a five-year contract instead of tenure by the UNC Board of Trustees. Despite later receiving a tenure offer, Hannah-Jones decided to take the same position at Howard University instead. The ACEJMC determined that this high-profile incident was evidence of significant DEI issues within the school that warranted reevaluation of its accreditation.

Tacks were scattered everywhere; presumably, the vandals hoped to flatten the motorcycle and car tires of those visiting this place of worship. This was real crime; not a thought crime.

To add insult to injury, for several blocks around the church police had erected signs noting that the area was closed to street parking due to a “special event” (a.k.a., shutting down the rights and freedoms of citizens.)

Legal Victory! Calgary Protest Injunction Challenge Successful

For weeks, the city of Calgary was under a broad, sweeping injunction, acquired at the behest of activist Mayor Jyoti Gondek and city council, which limited park use, use of amplification, honking, the blocking of roads and sidewalks during marches, and a series of other freedoms.

Ultimately, the injunction sought to limit people’s capacity to protest vaccine mandates and government overreach.

U.S.-Style ‘Disinformation Governance Board’ Coming to Canada?

While freedom of speech and freedom of the press have long been considered hallmarks of American democracy, a new so-called ‘Ministry of Truth’ in the United States has created significant cause for concern.

On Friday’s episode of Rebel Roundup, Andrew Chapados joined David Menzies to discuss the Biden administration’s recently formed ‘Disinformation Governance Board,’ and to dive deeper into the ramifications that this could have on free speech in Canada.

Our own Rebel News reporter Andrew Chapados spoke with members of the public in downtown Toronto and surprisingly enough, most people seemed opposed to the creation of a similar board here in Canada.

What Happened During the Rolling Thunder Rally in Ottawa?

An emotion-filled colourful weekend that ended peacefully with a gathering in front of Ottawa’s Parliament Hill.

On Friday, April 29, the Rolling Thunder bikers’ arrival led many Ottawa citizens to create a counter-protest at Stathcona Park. Barricades were also set up by law enforcement around Parliament Hill, restricting access to all vehicles.

Later that day, a small convoy dared to venture onto Rideau Street, where they unfortunately got stuck — that’s when events escalated.

Czechia Will Push for Ukraine’s EU Membership, Says Foreign Minister

The topic of the Russian invasion of Ukraine will be important for the upcoming Czech presidency of the European Union, which begins in less than two months, and Czechia will advocate for Ukraine to join the bloc, Czech foreign minister Jan Lipavský confirmed in a recent interview for the iDNES.cz news outlet.

Lipavský revealed that the Czech Republic will support Ukraine’s European ambitions during its presidency, noting that it will be a long journey for Ukraine as it must complete all the procedural steps and gain approval from all the members of the European Union, however, he maintained that bringing the country closer to the EU is the most sensible course of action.

Germany: Cologne’s ‘Green’ Bicycle Fleet Destroyed in TikTok Challenge

The German climate youth in Cologne have apparently become bored with skipping school. In a fit of blind destructiveness, thousands of “green” KVB rental bikes were destroyed after a Tiktok-Challenge.

A mirror has been held up to the local leftist ruling SPD municipality when the matter of damaged “green” transport was raised in the city council. More social workers and street workers are now supposed to fix what decades of questionable policies have caused in the city. The left-green revolution has destroyed its mode of transport, literally.

With an appropriate mixture of serious criticism and biting irony, AfD parliamentary group leader Stephan Boyens wrecked the credibility of the city’s climate fanatics.

KVB bicycles parked on a site on Vitalisstraße in Cologne (on 4 May 2022), apparently had locks which were defective. The city’s striking youths subsequently demolished a large part of the 3,000 or so rental bicycles of the Cologne public transport system in the course of a “Tiktok Challenge”. In the end, according to the Kölner Express, only 200 of the environmentally conscious vehicles are still ready for use.

Italy: MPS Manager in Hot Water Over Allegedly Sexist Remarks

‘Selling policies like pulling girls’ says bank official

(ANSA) — ROME, MAY 3 — A top manager at Siena bank Monte dei Paschi di Siena (MPS) is in hot water after making remarks slammed as sexist to staff while discussing how to boost their sales of insurance policies.

The bank’s chief commercial officer, Pasquale Marchese, allegedly repeated what he had heard from a top performing salesman in saying selling policies was like “pulling girls”.

He allegedly said “it’s like when you have to pull a girl, I try it on with them all, then one of them agrees”.

The Tuscany rep of the women’s section of Italy’s largest and most leftwing union CGIL, Barbara Orlandi, said “the MPS manager was wrong and it was absolutely useful to denounce his words, they sadly won’t be the last such ones but we hope that other cases receive the same treatment”.

Latest News in the Russia-Ukraine War

Russia: Russian President Vladimir Putin used the annual commemoration of the country’s victory over Nazi Germany in World War II to justify the Kremlin’s attack on Ukraine, saying it was the only way to prevent what he said was a planned assault on Russia.

In Poland, protesters doused the Russian ambassador with red paint as he attempted to mark the day at a Warsaw memorial.

One Identical Twin Raised in South Korea, One in USA: Which One Turned Out 16 IQ Points Smarter?

Nancy L. Segal at Cal State Fullerton is a leading expert on twins. She is the professor to call if you have some crazy twin story of scientific interest, like her 2015 account of two pairs of South American identical twins who got switched in the hospital and grew up believing themselves to be fraternal twin pairs, one in the city and one in the country, until being reunited in their 20s.

Now she’s done a case study of a pair of South Korean identical twin girls, one of whom got lost at age 2 and wound up adopted by an American family and raised in the U.S. That’s a pretty huge difference for identical twins raised apart studies, since they usually stay in the same country, often with relatives of one or the other parent (and generally middling income folk who can afford to take one child but not two children).

Mentions of Website Blocking Are Found in the UK-Australia Trade Agreement

There is a paragraph about website site blocking in the new free trade agreement between Australia and the UK. The trade agreement could set a precedent for other trade agreements with other countries.

Website blocking is one of the solutions to fight piracy. Like most forms of censorship, it was controversial initially but over the past decade it has been increasingly normalized. Several countries, including Australia and the UK, have laws allowing rights holders to request the blocking of piracy sites. Both countries have a list of domains that ISPs should block and the list is regularly updated.

    ABOUT TO GO TO HELL

Police Commissioner: All of Sweden is becoming like Rinkeby

    Published 9 May 2022 at 19.26
The whole country is heading towards “Rinkeby’s problem”. This warning comes from Peter Torstensson, police commissioner in the western region, in an opinion piece in Expressen.

Peter Torstensson worked as a police officer in the immigrant ghetto of Rinkeby about 20 years ago.

Today, he has a feeling that “history is repeating itself”.

“Now I work in Dalsland and for a few years now I have seen things I recognize from the past. There are several poor municipalities here that took a very big responsibility during the migration crisis in 2015 where the number of new arrivals in some cases amounted to almost a thousand per municipality. Social services, schools and leisure activities are now under strain, unemployment and benefit dependency are high,” writes Peter Torstensson.

    He continues:

“It looks more or less the same all over the country.”

Despite daily gun murders and shootings, senior police chiefs tell us that “we are on the right track” and “we are seeing improvements”, writes Torstensson.

“Through this, politicians are leaning back when the truth is that, in principle, across the country we are heading into the same problems as in our larger cities. Now it’s about Sweden’s smaller towns, communities and rural areas.”

“We must not continue to darken. We who work out here see it coming,” concludes Peter Torstensson.

  2. HOW TO SOLVE IT!

Immigrants go home voluntarily for fear of social

    Published May 9, 2022 at 3:17 p.m.
Information that social authorities in Sweden kidnap Muslim children now causes immigrants to move home to the third world again completely voluntarily.

“There are families in Sweden who are so afraid that the social services will take their children that they give up their whole lives and flee the country,” reports P4 Gothenburg.

The radio channel has spoken to the father of four, Samir, who “in a panic” sent his children and his wife to the Middle East when he received a letter from the social worker. Even though he did not know what the letter was about.

    – It starts with a letter and ends with them taking your own child from you, says Samir to P4 Gothenburg.

Samir states that he knows a dozen other families who are also planning to leave Sweden, or have already done so.

    – If social security does not guarantee that we can keep our children, we will never return to Sweden, Samir threatens.

    – And if they guarantee it, we will still change municipality to get away from this racist social worker, he continues.

According to P4, an “international drive” is underway against Sweden with “fake films” that describe how Muslim children are kidnapped by Swedish social. According to the Swedish Agency for Psychological Defense, this is an “organized advocacy campaign”.

    • Who woulda thunk that Child Protective Services would be more of a threat to invading barbarians than the Police or Immigration?

  3. The number of people diagnosed with intellectual disabilities in Sweden is skyrocketing.

Increase of almost 150 percent since 2008. “Need to look at this more”

The number of adults diagnosed with mild intellectual disability is increasing rapidly. The number of children diagnosed is also increasing. In one region of the country, the number of cases has increased by over 600% since 2008. This is the result of a review by Psykologtidningen.

Psykologtidningen has reviewed statistics from the National Board of Health and Welfare that show that the number of adult patients with mild intellectual disability has increased by 143 percent between 2008 and 2020.

No common explanation for the increase is yet available. However, it is agreed that the figures need to be looked at more closely.

    – Clearly, there has been an increase. It is important to look at this more closely,” says Peter Salmi, an investigator in psychiatry at the National Board of Health and Welfare.

READ MORE: New study finds diversity makes society weaker

The Örebro County region stands out with a 617 percent increase since 2008.

When it comes to children, the proportion of pupils receiving special education in Stockholm County has increased by more than 3+ percent since 2016, from 0.9 to 1.2 percent.

    IQ also falling
Last September, Kyösti Tarvainen, PhD, associate professor emeritus of systems analysis at Aalto University, Helsinki, warned that Sweden’s average IQ will fall below 90 in the next century if current trends continue. This, in turn, would make it difficult to maintain a democratic society.

READ MORE: Scientists warn: Sweden’s falling IQ threatens democracy

Tarvainen’s research has previously shown that with unchanged immigration, ethnic Swedes will be a minority by 2065 and that there will be as many Muslims as ethnic Swedes by 2100.

In 2017, another study showed that IQs are falling in Sweden’s neighbouring countries as well as in nations such as the UK, Germany and the Netherlands.

      • Strictly speaking, it’s a tribal rather than religious custom. Apparently First Millenium Christians discouraged tribe and clan loyalties, of which consanguinity is a consequence, so we’ve largely been spared it.

        • But a religion can forbid cousin marriage.
