During his video address to the WEF conference in Davos, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger said that Ukraine should negotiate with Russia and be willing to surrender territory in order to reach a peace agreement. Mr. Kissinger expressed his opinion that Ukraine should assume a neutral status to act as a buffer between Russia and Europe.
In other news, an 18-year-old high school student walked into an elementary school in Texas carrying at least one gun and killed 18 pupils and a teacher before being shot dead by police.

18 Children, 1 Teacher Killed After Texas School Massacre; Biden to “Turn Pain Into Action”
Twenty people are dead, including 18 children, a teacher, and the suspected gunman following an “active shooter” report at Robb Elementary school in Uvdale, Texas, according to Gov. Greg Abbott, making this the deadliest shooting at an American elementary school since the attack at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn., in 2012.
The state police updated the death toll on Tuesday evening, announcing that four more children were among the dead, for a total of 18.
Additionally, and as yet unconfirmed, Texas Governor Abbot said that “it is being reported that the subject shot his grandmother right before he went into the school.”

30 Years With No Strategy Brought Us the War in Ukraine

Washington DC has not excelled in grand strategy; the art and science of cost-effectively employing the diplomatic, economic, and informational powers of the United States in combination with its armed forces to secure its national goals and interests. Most of the strategic decisions to use American military power that were made over the last 30 years resulted in one of two strategic outcomes: abject failure (Somalia, Haiti, Afghanistan, and Iraq) or a new regional status quo that is untenable without a permanent U.S. military presence far from America’s borders (the Balkans).
The reasons for the discouraging outcomes of the last 30 years can be traced to Washington’s failure to clearly define realistic, attainable goals for U.S. military power. That requires an acknowledgement that American resources and the electorate’s patience are not limitless, and a thorough understanding of the opponent’s interests and capabilities. It seems that regardless of party affiliation Washington approaches national strategy the way the British approach sex, “romantically remote from the distressing biological crudities.”

Alec Baldwin — who infamously shot dead an up and coming cinematographer on the set of his movie — has taken to social media to call out ‘workplace abuse’ after a viral video showed former NFL player Brendan Langley and a United Airlines employee brawling.

‘Back Off: Dude, I’ll Shoot You.’ Woman Recounts Shooting, Killing Intruder
AZALEA PARK, Fla. (WESH) — Life has not always been easy for 69-year-old Virginia Morrison, and these days she said it’s been hard.
She called her son over the weekend with news so shocking he thought it was a joke.
“And I said, ‘Oh, by the way — I shot and killed a guy in my driveway today,’“ Morrison said.
Deputies confirmed her story. Morrison said a stranger walked into her home Sunday afternoon.
She confronted the intruder, but he wouldn’t leave.
“I picked up a broom — a straw broom — I’d been out here sweeping with. I hit him in the face twice with it and nothing,” Morrison recalled, saying he just gave a blank stare.
Morrison said she called out to her partner, Charlie, in the other room.
“I had my cell phone in my hand, and I threw my phone at him. Nothing. I’m yelling at Charlie, ‘Shoot him! Call 911,’“ she said.
Morrison said Charlie shot into the ground, and the man soon moved out of the house but stayed on the property.
“I fired a shot above him. ‘Back off, dude, I’ll shoot you.’ He just keeps coming toward me. So I shot him,” Morrison said.
According to deputies, she shot and killed the man…

The NYPD has finally arrested the on-the-run suspect wanted for shooting dead a man on the subway on Sunday, according to police sources cited by ABC and CBS.
Andrew Abdullah was taken into custody today — some 48 hours after allegedly shooting dead Daniel Enriquez on a Manhattan-bound Q train on Sunday. It is not yet clear where he was arrested or what led police to him.
An NYPD spokesman could not confirm the reports.
Enriquez was on his way to brunch with his brother when he was shot in the torso in an unprovoked attack.
Abdullah — who was out on bail at the time- fled the train at the Canal Street station and was on the run for several days but is now in custody.
He is a known gang member who was multiple arrests for violent crimes…

A gas station in the San Francisco Bay Area is charging customers almost $8 per gallon for its higher octane supreme level of gasoline ahead of Memorial Day weekend.
A photographer at KGO News found a Chevron gas station in Menlo Park, California, offering regular gasoline to customers at a price of $7.25 per gallon, with its supreme-grade gasoline hitting a whopping $7.75 per gallon.

California Bill Would Allow Parents to Sue Big Tech for Children Becoming ‘Addicted’ To Social Media
A new California bill will give parents the ability to sue social media companies for up to $25,000 for their children becoming addicted to their sites. The bill, currently awaiting passage by the state Senate, seeks to lead the way to hold social media companies accountable for their predatory methods of user engagement.
“The bill defines ‘addiction’ as kids under 18 who are both harmed — either physically, mentally, emotionally, developmentally or materially — and who want to stop or reduce how much time they spend on social media but they can’t because they are preoccupied or obsessed with it,” ABC reports.

City of Staten Island? Borelli Renews Borough’s Secession Bid
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Over 30 years ago, Staten Islanders voted in favor of secession from New York City, but were ultimately stymied by then-Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, who blocked a vote in the Assembly.
But City Council Minority Leader Joseph Borelli still believes it’s worth considering, according to a new bill he introduced this week.
Borelli, a Republican, brought forth a bill on Thursday that would create a task force to study and report on the feasibility of an independent city of Staten Island. The task force would then produce a report addressing the financial cost of secession, the legislative and political considerations necessary for secession, the service demands, allocation of resources, and the overall cost to the city of New York and to Staten Island of creating an independent and self-sustaining city of Staten Island.

A federal judge in Texas has blocked a university from re-implementing an anti-discrimination policy and sided with a conservative group who argued it was a violation of the free speech protections of the First Amendment.
The ruling by U.S. District Judge Lynn Hughes, a Reagan appointee, was a victory for the nonprofit group Speech First in its lawsuit against the University of Houston after it implemented a policy that stated students could face disciplinary action ranging from probation to suspension or expulsion for subjecting other students “to unlawful severe, pervasive, or persistent treatment” on the basis of their race, color, gender, age, religion or sexual orientation.
Speech First had argued that the university’s definition of harassment was too broad and included “denigrating jokes” and “negative stereotyping” which they say is protected by the First Amendment.

Georgia Republicans to Vote on Buckhead Secession
The upcoming Georgia primary election will attract attention for David Perdue’s challenge of incumbent governor Brian Kemp, but a down-ballot, nonbinding advisory question in the state may have its own implications for cities nationwide. Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp on Tuesday night won the state’s GOP primary for governor’s seat, sending him to the General Election to seek a second term.

In Rebuke to Pentagon, Navy Board Finds 3-0 for Vax Objector Amid Questions of Mandate’s Lawfulness
In a stinging rebuke to the Pentagon, a Navy administrative separation board voted unanimously to retain an officer who refused to comply with the military’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
Navy Lt. Billy Moseley, who has been an officer for 22 years, could have chosen to retire from the military when he was ordered to receive the COVID vaccine. He also could have submitted a Religious Accommodation Request, since he objected to the vaccine for religious reasons.
Risking his retirement, Moseley chose instead to take his case to the administrative separation board after learning “that the Navy and the other services intended to implement a blanket denial policy,” according to a press release from his attorney, R. Davis Younts.

Jewish Woman Charged With Hate Crime for Painting Swastikas at Brooklyn Bus Stop
A Jewish woman was charged with criminal mischief as a hate crime for drawing Nazi symbols over an antisemitism ad and elsewhere on a bus stop in Brooklyn, New York.
45-year-old Farnoush Hakakian was arrested last Wednesday for spray-painting a pair of swastikas at the bus pick-up area in Borough Park, according to the New York Daily News.

Pennsylvania Court Upholds Counties’ Right to Inspect Electronic Voting Equipment
The Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania on Tuesday upheld the right of Pennsylvania counties to inspect electronic voting equipment, an authority granted to them by the state Legislature.
The court sided with a brief filed by conservative election integrity watchdog The Amistad Project on behalf of Fulton County, Pa. The county had conducted an inspection on two Dominion voting machines in an attempt to determine whether they had functioned correctly during the 2020 election.
The state’s top election official, the secretary of the commonwealth, then retroactively banned the practice and decertified both of the machines without providing the county with state funding to replace them.
The ruling establishes a precedent that counties have the statutory authority to inspect electronic voting equipment to ensure safe and honest elections are taking place.

The Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) has announced it is leaving its membership with the National School Boards Association (NSBA) following a letter the group sent to the Department of Justice asking it to crack down on “threats of violence and acts of intimidation” at local school board meetings which “could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.”

Trump-Backed Herschel Walker Wins Georgia’s GOP Nomination for Senate
Former NFL star Herschel Walker is the projected winner of the GOP nomination for a U.S. Senate in Georgia.
The race was called Tuesday by the Associated Press at about 8:15 Eastern time.
The Trump-backed Walker will face incumbent Democrat Sen. Raphael Warnock in the general election.

Video: CNN Host Stelter Sad Over Demise of ‘Ministry of Truth’
After CNN’s potato headed weirdo Brian Stelter declared he was sad about a literal Ministry of Truth being put on hold by the Biden administration, Tucker Carlson mocked his ‘paralyzing stupidity’ and compared him to a character from George Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984.
Carlson played clips of Stelter expressing annoyance that conservatives outed the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Disinformation Governance Board and its leader Nina Jankowicz as authoritarian, leading to it being mothballed.
“By far the most entertaining person Joe Biden has appointed to anything was that Nina woman he put in charge of the Ministry of Truth,” Carlson said, adding that “She was so ridiculous and provably so that she’s out.”
“But at CNN, they are sad. They wanted her there forever,” Carlson continued.
Carlson asserted that Stelter “loved the idea of a Ministry of Truth,” because the CNN clown is himself “basically lifted directly from the pages of 1984, the Orwell novel.”

The higher the energy bills in Europe become, the higher the chances are for a windfall tax on energy companies and utilities, as governments will be forced to ease the growing pressure on household finances, Citigroup says.
Europe as a whole could see a utility bill rise of over 3 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) through 2024, Citigroup Global Markets analysts Piotr Dzieciolowski, Jenny Ping, and Antonella Bianchessi wrote in a note on Monday carried by Bloomberg.
Gas and electricity bills in Europe could jump to 4.5 percent of household disposable income in 2023, up from 3.5 percent in 2021. The utility bills could further rise to 4.8 percent of household disposable income in 2024, according to Citi analysts.

Hungary Declares Wartime State of Emergency
Hours after taking total control of Hungary by pushing through a constitutional amendment allowing his government to rule by decree when war breaks out in a neighboring country, Prime Minister Viktor Orban declared a wartime state of emergency.
According to Bloomberg, Parliament approved the state of emergency earlier Tuesday which will take effect at midnight. It will give Orban’s government “maneuvering room and the ability to react immediately” to the ongoing war in neighboring Ukraine, Orban said in a Facebook video message.

The legacy media is doing everything it can to defend the World Economic Forum (WEF) from attacks by Conservative leadership frontrunner Pierre Poilievre.

Survey: Vast Majority of Finns Willing to Fight for Country in Case of War
A survey of residents of Finland has revealed that a majority would be prepared to fight for their country if a war were declared as Finland looks to join the NATO alliance.
The survey, conducted by the Worldwide Independent Network (WIN), found that just 12 per cent of Finns say they would not want to fight for their country in the event of a war, while 62 per cent said they would fight in any potential future conflict.

Sweden Rolls Out Fifth COVID Shot
STOCKHOLM (AP) — Sweden is recommending a fifth COVID-19 vaccine dose for people with an increased risk of becoming seriously ill, including pregnant women and anyone aged 65 and over, authorities said Tuesday, adding that the country must “be prepared for an increased spread during the upcoming autumn and winter season.”
“The vaccine is our strongest tool for preventing serious illness and death,” Swedish Social Affairs Minister Lena Hallengren said, adding the pandemic is not over.

UK: Extinction Rebellion Activists Storm Meeting Held by Oil Giant Shell
Extinction Rebellion (XR) activists stormed a meeting of energy giant Shell in London on Tuesday morning forcing it to be put on hold.
Shareholders from the oil giant had gathered at Methodist Central Hall in Westminster for their UK annual general meeting.
XR said they wanted to prevent the meeting from taking place, while Shell UK confirmed it had been temporarily put on hold until the activists had been ejected.
Chairman Sir Andrew Mackenzie was forced to call off the meeting after it was continuously interrupted by protesters who staged a flashmob and glued themelves to chairs.

American conservative journalist Jack Posobiec was detained in Switzerland while he was covering the summit of globalist elites in the ski resort town of Davos, with commenters noting the Swiss local police wearing “World Economic Forum Police” patches on their uniforms.
Heavily armed Swiss officers, appearing to be from the Ordnungsdienst police force, allegedly “frisked” and detained Human Events Daily host and Turning Point USA contributor Jack Posobiec on Monday afternoon.

Veteran US statesman Henry Kissinger has urged the West to stop trying to inflict a crushing defeat on Russian forces in Ukraine, warning that it would have disastrous consequences for the long term stability of Europe.
The former US secretary of state and architect of the Cold War rapprochement between the US and China told a gathering in Davos that it would be fatal for the West to get swept up in the mood of the moment and forget the proper place of Russia in the European balance of power.
Dr Kissinger said the war must not be allowed to drag on for much longer, and came close to calling on the West to bully Ukraine into accepting negotiations on terms that fall very far short of its current war aims.
“Negotiations need to begin in the next two months before it creates upheavals and tensions that will not be easily overcome. Ideally, the dividing line should be a return to the status quo ante. Pursuing the war beyond that point would not be about the freedom of Ukraine, but a new war against Russia itself,” he said.
He told the World Economic Forum that Russia had been an essential part of Europe for 400 years and had been the guarantor of the European balance of power structure at critical times. European leaders should not lose sight of the longer term relationship, and nor should they risk pushing Russia into a permanent alliance with China.

Governor Greg Abbott said Monday that Texas has been forced to ‘fight’ against the Biden administration regarding border security and said he wants to flood Washington, D.C. with 450 buses of migrants so the nations’ capital can experience what his state’s communities are facing.

Greece: Gov’t Says it Won’t Allow Illegal Entry of Migrants by Land or Sea
A government minister warned on Tuesday that Greece would not allow the illegal entry of migrants by land or by sea, after a sharp increase in attempted entries through its Aegean islands and land border with Turkey over the past few days.
About a dozen vessels with hundreds of migrants on board have attempted unsuccessfully to cross from Turkey’s coast to the Greek islands in the past 48 hours, according to police data. On Tuesday, the coast guard said more than 590 people had tried to cross into the country by sea within a few hours.
“We won’t allow anyone to enter Greece illegally either from Evros or through the islands. Let everyone realise this,” Civil Protection Minister Takis Theodorikakos said on the ANT1 TV channel.

More than 2,600 migrants have landed in the UK by small boat this month so far, with 252 men, women and children making the perilous journey across the Channel yesterday.
Official figures released by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) reveals that 2,637 have reached British soil in 87 boats so far this month. So far today it appears that none have crossed the Channel.

Two Migrants Wounded After Shooting in Northern France Makeshift Camp
Two migrants at a makeshift migrant camp in the city of Grande-Synthe were injured after gunfire broke out early Sunday afternoon, with one volunteer describing it as sounding like a “machine gun.”

Indiana Lawmakers Override GOP Governor’s Veto of Transgender Sports Bill
The GOP-led Indiana House of Representatives and Senate voted to override Republican Gov. Eric Holcomb’s veto of a bill banning biological males from competing in girls’ sports.
The House voted 67-28 early Tuesday. The state’s Senate voted in favor of the override 32-15 to overwhelmingly defeat the governor’s veto.
“Biological males have an inherently stronger physique, and this bill assures there are not any unfair advantages,” Republican state Sen. Jeff Raatz said in a statement following the governor’s April veto.
“Biological females have the right to participate on an even playing field against their peers, and ensuring this fairness in female sports is a critical part of providing our youth with meaningful experiences and opportunities beyond the walls of the classroom,” he added.
