Prison escape sets off a search in rural Leon County halfway between Dallas and Houston

A Texas prisoner serving a life sentence for murder escaped from a transport bus Thursday after stabbing the driver, setting off a search in a rural county between Dallas and Houston, authorities said.

Buffalo Mass Shooting: 911 Dispatcher Who Allegedly Hung Up on a Woman Inside Tops During Mass Shooting is on Paid Leave

Erie County confirms that the dispatcher was placed on administrative leave pending a disciplinary hearing. The county executive wants the 911 operator terminated

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A 911 dispatcher who allegedly hung up on a woman inside the Tops grocery store during Saturday’s massacre is now on paid administrative leave.

The allegation came from Latisha Rogers, an assistant office manager at the Tops supermarket on Jefferson. She called in during 2 On Your Side’s live coverage of the mass shooting on Saturday. Latisha said she could hear gunshots that wouldn’t stop and she pulled her cell phone out of her back pocket and called 911.

Rogers spoke with Channel 2’s Claudine Ewing about making the call.

“I called 911, I go through the whole operator and everything, the dispatcher comes on and I’m whispering to her and I said Miss, please send help to 1275 Jefferson there is a shooter in the store. She proceeded in a very nasty tone and says I can’t hear you, why are you whispering, you don’t have to whisper, they can’t hear you, so I continued to whisper and I said ma’am he’s still in the store, he’s still shooting! I’m scared for my life, please send help. Out of nervousness, my phone fell out of my hand, she said something I couldn’t make out, and then the phone hung up.”

Erie County officials were watching and made aware and had the 911 tape pulled for review.

Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz said, “On Monday the individual was put on administrative leave pending a hearing which will be held on May 30 in which our intention is to terminate the 911 call taker who acted totally inappropriately not following protocol. “

He said the 911 worker has been on the job for eight years…

In College? You’re About to Lose Your Due Process Rights

I must say, I feel bad for men on college campuses now. Good luck. According to a new report, Joe Biden’s Department of Education (DOE) is planning to roll back Title IX due process regulations after President Donald Trump’s administration restored them.

The Trump-era rule required schools “to respond meaningfully to every known report of sexual harassment and to investigate every formal complaint,” and “apply basic due process protections for students, including a presumption of innocence throughout the grievance process; written notice of allegations and an equal opportunity to review all evidence collected; and the right to cross-examination, subject to ‘rape shield’ protections.”

What’s wrong with that? Objectively, nothing is wrong with it, save for Orange Man Bad.

“It ultimately returns Title IX back to a guilty until proven innocent standard,” Sarah Perry, a senior legal fellow for the Heritage Foundation explained.

‘It Sounded Like a Bomb Going Off’: Officers and Neighbors Describe Moments After Explosion at Chadbourn Motel

CHADBOURN, N.C. (WECT) — The Budget Inn in Chadbourn went up in flames after an explosion inside early Wednesday morning. Fire officials determined the explosion was from a gas leak.

Chadbourn mayor Philip Britt and his wife Shannon live just across the parking lot from the Budget Inn. They say their house shook when the explosion happened, and Philip said his alarm clock fell off of his bedside table.

Around 430 this morning I woke up and I was getting ready to get out of bed and heard what sounded like an explosion. I came out onto the porch, looked over towards the building— when I initially looked over it looked like maybe there was one small fire, about the size of a basketball,” Britt said. “You could see a big hole on the side of the building. It looked like a vehicle had actually driven through the building.”

But minutes later, that all changed as Britt says the fire spread quickly and the building when up in flames.

“I was sitting on the other end of town and I heard a loud explosion. I [came] out on the street and I [saw] a bunch of smoke at that point,” Chadbourn Police officer Johnathan Driggers said.

Officer Driggers was one of the first people on the scene. As soon as he got there he searched to see if anyone survived the blast…

Wife Denies Shooting Co-Worker in Beheading Case

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The wife of a New Hampshire man accused of killing her co-worker after he discovered they were texting — and then forcing her to behead him — denied shooting him Wednesday, saying her husband choked and punched her and eventually put his gun into her mouth that night.

“You know that you’re going to die tonight, right?” Britany Barron, 33, testified her husband, Armando Barron, said in September 2020, not long before the two left the house to go to the park where he allegedly used her phone to tell the co-worker to meet her there.

“Don’t do anything stupid or the girls are going to walk into something (expletive) gruesome,” she testified he said as they were leaving. He had sent the couple’s three young children to go to their grandmother’s home next door.

She also testified that just a week earlier, she had told Armando she no longer loved him and wanted a divorce. When he heard that, he grabbed her throat and started choking her, saying, “Are you serious?”

Britany, who asked a prosecutor in the Keene courtroom to address her by her maiden name, Mitchell, denied early in her testimony that she was the one who shot Jonathan Amerault, as a defense lawyer alleged during opening statements Tuesday. She pointed to her husband as the shooter.

Barron pleaded not guilty to killing Amerault, 25. He acknowledged in court Tuesday that he had struck Britany, broke her nose, attempted to strangle her, and kicked Amerault in the head.

Prosecutors allege that Armando Barron, 32, used his wife’s cellphone to lure Amerault to the park just north of the Massachusetts state line the night he discovered the texts, assaulted Amerault and tried to force his wife to shoot him. She refused. He also forced her to stand on his neck and slit his wrists, they said. Armando Barron eventually forced Amerault into the back of the victim’s car and had his wife drive it 200 miles (322 kilometers) to a remote campsite…

Alberta Premier Mocks Biden for Refusing Canadian Oil: ‘You Don’t Need the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet to Patrol the Great Lakes’

One of the most frustrating aspects of the Biden administration — and Lord knows there are a lot of things that infuriate people about them — is the way the U.S. went from a net energy exporter to record high gas prices and a reliance on oil imported from other countries.

The administration knows exactly what it’s doing. The White House has acquiesced to the environmental lobby, and the end game is a push for “green energy” that’s both infeasible and expensive, at least right now. But that hasn’t stopped the drive to punish Americans who haven’t followed the administration’s flippant advice to buy an expensive electric vehicle.

In the meantime, until all you rubes go electric, the administration is looking to nations that are hostile to American values like Venezuela and Iran. If we must import our oil, why not get it from North America? I’ve written before about one Canadian official who has invited the U.S. to buy oil from our friendly northern neighbors, and this week the premier of one Canadian province (like the governor of a state) spoke to a U.S. Senate committee to make the same offer.

Lest you read “Canada” and think of Justin Trudeau clamping down on free speech or Quebec making life a living hell for the unvaxxed, it’s worth noting that Premier Jason Kenney of Alberta is part of the province’s United Conservative Party, and his province is Canada’s heartland, far more conservative than the urban elites in Toronto and Montreal.

And Kenney didn’t just make the case for oil imports from Canada; he also slammed the Biden administration’s energy policies when he spoke to the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources on Monday.

Mr. Poilievre hopes to have a bill passed that would prevent further discrimination and restrictions over those who have been afflicted with the vaccine passports.

Exclusive: ‘The Federalists and Globalists in Brussels Do Not Accept Diverging Opinions, ‘ Says Vox Vice-President Jorge Buxade

Why did Vox not participate in the Conference on the Future of Europe, whose conclusions were presented in the European Parliament on May 9?

I am a member of the Committee on Constitutional Affairs and I asked at the beginning of the process to participate but I was unable to do so because of the gender rules. They needed me to be a woman, and I am of course a man, and that is why I could not participate. On May 9, we did not participate in this unacceptable spectacle that took place in the European Parliament because already last week, Vox, together with the entire European Conservatives and Reformists Group, rejected the conclusions of this Conference on the Future of Europe. Fundamentally, it is an anti-democratic process whereby the opinion of a few, chosen by globalist forces under pressure from lobbies, is passed off as the opinion of the citizens.

UK: George Monbiot Says Farming Should be Abolished to Save the Planet: Climate Change Activist Says Meat Can be Replaced With Lab-Grown Food Like Protein Pancakes

Environmental campaigner George Monbiot has claimed farming should be abolished because meat can be replaced with food made out of lab-grown bacteria.

Writing in his latest book, the Guardian columnist said the world must do away with meat and dairy production because it is a ‘phenomenally profligate’ way to produce food.

The writer, who describes farming as the ‘most destructive force ever to have been unleashed by humans’, argues meat producers will not be able to sustainably keep up with the increase in global food demand.

He suggests that the world should look at newer methods, including creating industrial quantities of protein powder using bacteria which can be used to make food such as ‘protein pancakes’ instead.

UK: Protests Disrupt Gala Dinner at Africa Energies Summit

Protests have disrupted the gala dinner at the Africa Energies Summit, with a group of Extinction Rebellion activists attaching themselves to Gordon Ramsay’s Heddon Street restaurant.

A statement from the activist group said that at 5:30 pm it had taken action to prevent the dinner.

Schlumberger sponsored the dinner. XR said the company provided “technologies and services to help fossil fuel companies increase their oil and gas extraction in over 120 countries”.

Conference organiser Frontier Energy cancelled the dinner as a result. The organiser said the decision had been taken after discussions with the Metropolitan Police, the restaurant and sponsor.

“It is with great regret that we have been strongly advised to cancel the Gala dinner this evening as we cannot guarantee the safety of the delegates due to protestors at the dinner venue,” Frontier said.

Six members of XR glued themselves to the doors and windows of the restaurant.

The XR statement cited one protester, Amelia Halls, as saying Africa was responsible for only 2% of global emissions.

At the same time, the continent “is experiencing some of the worst impacts of climate and ecological breakdown”.

Halls went on to say: “Companies such as Schlumberger are profiting from the death and suffering their actions are causing, and we cannot stand by and watch this happen.”

Second day

This is the second day that protests disrupted the Africa Energies Summit. On Tuesday, as the conference opened, a group of protesters stood across the doors. Some members of the group climbed the façade, setting off smoke and daubing fake oil on the front of the hotel.

US Pushes EU to Bypass Nations Blocking Ban on Russian Oil

Those following current European politics will be familiar with a number of recent examples for the currently dominant liberal elite’s approach to changing rules, if rules prevent them from getting their way.

One of the most recent and still ongoing examples is the attempt to abolish the institution of the veto in almost all policy areas, which would in turn enable the European Parliament’s left-wing majority to essentially reshape the continent’s political landscape in their own progressive image without any opposition. Yet, there are signs that Brussels not only has the full support of the current Biden administration on its way to achieving a left-dominated superstate, but its policies are directly shaped in line with Washington’s geopolitical interests.

According to a Reuters report, the White House may have found a way to bypass some member states’ opposition to the Russian oil and gas embargo that Brussels is trying to implement in order to starve Moscow of vital income.

‘Go to Hell,’ ‘Utter Filth’: Abortion Advocates Left Hateful Messages After Firebombing of Pro-Life HQ

MADISON, Wisconsin (LifeSiteNews) — Radical pro-abortion advocates shared their hatred for the pro-life cause by leaving a series of rageful voicemail messages for the pro-life Wisconsin Family Action pro-life headquarters that was defaced and set ablaze over Mother’s Day weekend.

  1. After the triumph of feminism, women are looking for real men
By: Lars Hedegaard 16 May 2022

It was 2004. My translation of Ibn Warrak’s book Why I Am Not a Muslim had just been published and I had managed to get Fay Weldon to write a foreword. She also came to Copenhagen to speak at the launch of the book.

Something she said has stuck in my mind: for women, being dominated by men is sexually appealing. However, this statement was not published in the media, even though Weldon was a world-famous writer.

Weldon had allowed herself to refer to what she apparently perceived as biologically determined behaviour. Women want men who are men, not creatures with male genitalia, but who try to make themselves feminine and allow themselves to be guided by emotion when life demands logic, empiricism and consistency.

Feminism began as a revolt against power structures that an intellectual elite of women found intolerable. No one should prevent them from showing their naked breasts on the beach or in the park. And who can blame them for wanting to be free? It didn’t take many years, however, for feminism to go from being a fringe position – a new and welcome rebellion against something that deserved to go under – to becoming society’s dominant ideology. Today, there is no political party that does not profess feminism. Feminist rulers are frantically looking for misogynistic injustices that must be punished with state subsidies, but the more oppression there is, the more vehement they become.

Meanwhile, generations of men have been trained to become cowards, adopt feminine behaviours and suppress their instincts as best they can. They have learned to be cowards.

To these men’s surprise, they do not impress women who praise them for their femininity but do not want to have sex with them. They will do the same with tough men from the Arabian desert, whom they therefore – by voting for humanist parties – import in abundance.

Whether women will be happy with their choices is unknown. Having mourned male domination and biology, you will hear no more from them. They will live a life as if they were women in the Middle East and Africa, and there will no longer be men to defend them. They have spent decades eliminating such men.

I am reminded of a sergeant from the Danish forces on Kypros whom I met in 1964. He had no diplomas, but a wisdom that transcended miles of customs: when a woman meets a man, she begins to change him. And if she wins, she is lost.

    • This has already started a long time ago. Even in the last century, Yin-Yang was out of balance.
Somewhere I read that in the East they believe that if we have more Yin, we incarnate in this world as girls, if Yang, as boys.
When I was young, I was probably too Yin – a very uninitiative girl. But there was a problem… Young men looked at me, but did not come up, everyone was waiting for some lively girl to “throw a lasso on them.” By some miracle, I managed to get married – I met an pushing young man. July marks 30 years since the wedding.
Something has been wrong for a long time. It is necessary to “reboot” the whole world.
