10 Dead in Buffalo Supermarket Attack Police Call Hate Crime

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — A white 18-year-old wearing military gear and livestreaming with a helmet camera opened fire with a rifle at a supermarket in Buffalo, killing 10 people and wounding three others Saturday in what authorities described as “racially motived violent extremism.”

The gunman wore body armor and military-style clothing during the attack on mostly Black shoppers and workers at Tops Friendly Market. For at least two minutes, he broadcast the shooting live on the streaming platform Twitch before the service ended his transmission.

Police said he shot 11 Black victims and two who were white before surrendering to police. Later, he appeared before a judge in a paper medical gown and was arraigned on murder charges.

“It is my sincere hope that this individual, this white supremacist who just perpetrated a hate crime on an innocent community, will spend the rest of his days behind bars. And heaven help him in the next world as well,” said Gov. Kathy Hochul, speaking near the scene of the attack.

The suspected gunman was identified as Payton Gendron, of Conklin, New York, about 200 miles (320 kilometers) southeast of Buffalo.

It wasn’t immediately clear why Gendron traveled to Buffalo to stage the assault. A clip apparently from his Twitch feed, posted on social media, showed him arriving at the supermarket in his car…

21 People Were Injured in Shootings in Downtown Milwaukee; Mayor Johnson Imposes Curfew Saturday Night

Mayor Cavalier Johnson Saturday afternoon imposed a curfew in the downtown entertainment district Saturday and Sunday nights after at least 21 people were shot in separate incidents Friday night.

The curfew will run from 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for people under 21 years old. The curfew area will include parts of downtown bordered by Knapp/ and State streets, Vel Phillips Avenue and Broadway. Police said the fine for violating it will be $691.

There were three separate shootings in Milwaukee’s downtown bar district after the Milwaukee Bucks playoff game, which drew thousands of people to the Deer District. One of the shootings, which occurred shortly after 11 p.m., left 17 people wounded. Five of the people who were injured were armed and taken into custody, police said Saturday.

The victims ranged in age from 15 to 47, and all are expected to survive, Milwaukee police said. Ten people, ranging in age from juveniles to adults, were arrested and nine guns were recovered.

Authorities have not released further information about the victims, the ages of the suspects and what they believe led up to the shooting.

The mass shooting occurred shortly after 11 p.m. Friday on North Water Street near Highland Avenue — just two hours after and blocks away from an earlier shooting that wounded three people, including a 16-year-old girl…

At Least 7 Dead in Buffalo Supermarket Mass Shooting: Police Sources

Investigators were looking into whether the mass shooting that claimed at least seven lives was racially motivated

At least seven people were killed in a Buffalo, New York, supermarket Saturday afternoon after a gunman carrying a rifle entered the store and opened fire, law enforcement sources said.

The shooter entered the Tops Friendly Market on Jefferson Avenue shortly after 2:30 p.m. and shot at least eight people, according to police sources. Seven of the people died and one person was said to be in critical condition.

The suspected gunman was arrested by police at the scene, the sources said, after officials initially reported that he died.

Sources said the shooter entered the grocery store wearing military-style gear or some type of body armor. Two rifles were also recovered, they added…

Baby Formula Shortage Could Drag on for Rest of 2022, Warns Major Manufacturer

The US baby formula shortage could drag on for the rest of the year, a major manufacturer warned Friday.

Perrigo Company, the maker of store-brand baby formulas for Walmart and Amazon, said its manufacturing facilities in Ohio and Vermont are now running at 115% capacity amid the nationwide crisis.

Even then, CEO Murray Kessler told Reuters, that shortages and heightened demand for baby formula could last for the “balance of the year.”

Food Truck Explodes at Florida Seafood Festival

VERO BEACH, Fla. — A food truck exploded during a seafood festival in Florida on Saturday, sending one person to the hospital with severe burns, according to authorities.

The Vero Beach police said state and local fire officials are investigating the cause of the explosion. The department posted photos of the scene on Facebook that showed the sides and roof of the truck blown off the vehicle.

One person was flown to a hospital burn unit in Orlando. There were no other injuries and the festival continued as authorities secured the scene of the explosion, police said.

Amazon boss Jeff Bezos said the nation’s newly formed Disinformation Governance Board should take a look at the White House after a tweet from President Biden which attempted to link skyrocketing inflation with the country’s corporate tax rate.

“The newly created Disinformation Board should review this tweet, or maybe they need to form a new Non Sequitur Board instead,” Bezos scoffed in tweet late Friday night. “Raising corp taxes is fine to discuss. Taming inflation is critical to discuss. Mushing them together is just misdirection.”

Karine Jean-Pierre Has Frequent History of Accusing Things of Being Racist

Newly installed White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has a long history of accusing policies and political enemies of “racism,” a review of her social media and TV news appearances show.

The Post looked at Jean-Pierre’s tweets between 2015 and 2020 and found a staggering 57 instances where she accused people, policies, ideas, or words of being “racist.”

And Jean-Pierre accused people and ideas she was opposed to as “racist” at least 43 times in TV appearances too, according to video clipping service Grabien, whose available analysis spanned just the first two years of President Trump’s term in office.

Midwestern States Endure Steep Rise in Drug Overdose Deaths in 2021

U.S. drug overdoses increased 15% between December 2020 and December 2021, according to data released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Health Statistics.

The two-year jump established new records for overdose deaths.

The Midwestern states took part in the nation’s upward trend. Minnesota, for example, recognized a 26.01% increase. Indiana jumped 21.26%, Wisconsin 13.97%, Iowa 12.41% and Michigan 9.31%.

The Associated Press reported the CDCP numbers on Wednesday, noting 107,622 drug overdose deaths occurred throughout the United States in 2021. This roughly translates into one drug overdose nearly every five minutes.

Mom Sues TikTok After Ten-Year-Old Dies Attempting ‘Blackout Challenge’

A mom is suing TikTok after her ten-year-old daughter died from attempting a challenge she saw on the video streaming platform.

Ten-year-old Nylah Anderson died on Dec. 12 2021, after attempting a social-media challenge in which participants force themselves to pass out by holding their breath until they pass out from hypoxia.

According to court documents, mother Tawainna Anderson came home on Dec. 7 2021, to find Nylah unconscious. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, but efforts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful. She died five days later.

More Than Three-Quarters of Likely Voters Oppose Protests at Homes of Supreme Court Justices, Survey

Nearly 79% of likely voters do not approve of protesting in front of the homes of Supreme Court justices as “an acceptable way to protest the High Court’s upcoming decision on Roe v. Wade,” according to a new poll from the Trafalgar Group in conjunction with Convention of States Action.

Among Democrats, two-thirds (66.6%) of likely general election voters said the protest at justices’ homes are unacceptable, and 12% were unsure.

New York: At Least 10 Reportedly Killed in Buffalo Supermarket Shooting

Buffalo police said earlier Saturday afternoon that the alleged shooter was also in custody

Multiple people were shot and killed Saturday afternoon at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York, authorities said, adding that the alleged shooter was in custody.

At least 10 have were killed in the shooting at the Tops Friendly Market, according to the the Associated Press, citing law enforcement officials.

Buffalo police said earlier Saturday afternoon that the alleged shooter was also in custody.

The two officials were not permitted to speak publicly on the matter and did so on the condition of anonymity.

It’s unclear how many other people may have been shot. The possible shooter was not identified.

The supermarket is in a predominately Black neighborhood, about 3 miles (5km) north of downtown Buffalo. The surrounding area is primarily residential, with a Family Dollar store and fire station near the market.

Police closed off the block, lined by spectators, and yellow police taped surrounded the full parking lot. Mayor Byron Brown was at the scene late Saturday afternoon and expected to address the media…

The federal government is weaponizing the law to target a media organization that’s critical of the Biden administration, according to the lawyer for a journalist who’s been the subject of a sweeping Justice Department investigation.

“The FBI is using the legal system to harass a media company and its journalists who are critical of the current administration and to collect ‘evidence’ of a non-crime in order to amass a secret file on American journalists,” said attorney Paul Calli, who represents investigative journalist and Project Veritas Founder James O’Keefe. “J. Soros-Backed Group Donates $20k to Candidate in Washington County DA Race

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — For the second election in a row, out-of-state interests have put money into the race for Washington County district attorney.

This week, Kevin Barton’s opponent, Brian Decker received $20,000 from a New York organization supported by liberal billionaire George Soros who is a controversial figure.

Decker is a defense attorney trying to unseat Barton. State records show the $20,000 Decker received is from the group, Drug Policy Action in Manhattan. IRS records show it is tied to the Drug Policy Alliance.

Tech Advocacy Groups Appeal Texas Social Media Law

Pro-tech advocacy groups are calling on the highest court in the US to strike down a law they say is detrimental to online media platforms’ integrity.

Net Choice and the Computer & Communications Industry Association (CCIA), which represent clients like Google and Facebook, filed an emergency application with the Supreme Court on Friday afternoon.

They’re looking to overturn Texas House Bill 20 (HB20) which would allow residents of the state to sue platforms with 50,000 users or more if they believe they’ve been unfairly banned or had their account unjustly removed. The law would also require platforms to create an effective means for users to appeal the removal of their content.

What San Francisco DA Chesa Boudin Learned From His Terrorist Mom

Chesa Boudin was just 14 months old when his terrorist mom and dad went to prison. The experience left a lasting mark on the boy, who grew up to become the controversial, left-leaning district attorney of San Francisco, now facing a recall election over his soft-on-crime policies.

Chesa’s mother, Kathy Boudin, who was released in 2003, died earlier this month of cancer at 78. White Thomson Reuters Data Scientist Says He Was Fired From $350k Role by Woke Bullies for Sharing Data Showing Cops Kill More Unarmed White People Than Black People — and Claiming BLM Contributed to Deaths of Thousands

A former director of data science at Thomson Reuters said he was fired for sharing research on the company’s internal social media platform that showed police killed more unarmed white people than black people and that the Black Lives Matter movement allegedly caused the deaths of thousands.

Zac Kriegman, who worked at Thomson Reuters for six years before being fired last summer, claimed he was let go from his $350,000 job because he stood against the company’s reporting conventions on BLM in order to dispel what the ‘false narrative’ that black people were the largest victim of police violence.

In a piece first published on Bari Weiss’s Substack, Common Sense, Kriegman said he shared with collogues concerns that reports saying unarmed black people are killed by police at a disproportionately higher rate than their white counterparts was not accurate.

Wisconsin GOP Governor Candidate Says She’d Fire DA in Waukesha ‘Parade Massacre’ on ‘Day One’

Wisconsin GOP gubernatorial candidate Rebecca Kleefisch is running on a get-tough-on-crime agenda to unseat Democrat Gov. Tony Evers, saying Friday his “permissive culture” allowed the 2021 Waukesha Christmas parade tragedy to happen.

“The Waukesha parade massacre killed six people, injured 61. And it’s because of his permissive culture,” she said Friday on the “Just the News — Not Noise” livestream TV show on the Real America’s Voice network.

Kleenfish, who was lieutenant governor under GOP Gov. Scott Walker, also took particular aim at Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm who admitted that prior to the crime the suspect was out of jail on an “inappropriately low” bail, though he blamed the failure on a “mistake” made by a young prosecutor.

Jean Charest Says Convoy “Laid Siege” To Ottawa and Pierre Poilievre “Appeals to the Fringe Minority”

Conservative Party of Canada leadership candidate Jean Charest is claiming the Freedom Convoy “terrorized” and “laid siege to” Ottawa, and that his rival Pierre Poilievre “appeals to the fringe minority.”

The former Quebec Liberal premier made the claims in a campaign mail-out obtained by True North. It appears to have been sent exclusively to Ottawa residents, although Charest’s campaign team would not confirm — opting instead to say that “over 50,000 letters have been sent nationwide so far.”

The manager of a suspected radical mosque, along with three others, was arrested this week in northern France over allegations of fraud and embezzlement of hundreds of thousands of euros of foreign cash.

Ukraine’s general staff said the Russians were pulling back from the northeastern city of Kharkiv (Kharkov) and focusing on guarding supply routes, while launching mortar, artillery and airstrikes in the eastern Donetsk province in order to “deplete Ukrainian forces and destroy fortifications.”

Watchdog Group Seeks Communications Linked to Medical Journal Letter on COVID

Watchdog group Empower Oversight is seeking documents related to the authorship of a February article in medical journal The Lancet insisting that COVID-19 had a natural origin.

The letter from the group highlights the study’s claim of “no competing interests” and the fact that the article “was orchestrated by the director of an organization that is reported to have funded research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology,” the now-notorious laboratory widely labeled the origin of the pandemic.

“Among other things, the statement provides that its signatories ‘stand together to strongly condemn conspiracy theories suggesting that COVID-19 does not have a natural origin,’“ Empower Oversight asserts, “And, thus it is reported to have played a role in suppressing early debate—and, thereby, the advancement of knowledge—regarding COVID-19’s origin. Moreover, the U.S. State Department has noted that a true understanding of the origin of the pandemic is important to the prevention of future pandemics.”

Breaking: Texas to Donate Razor Wire to Bolster Mexico’s Border Security

In an act of trans-national cooperation, Texas will provide Mexican law enforcement with razor wire for border security.

According to Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin and independent reporter Ali Bradley, the wire will be given to the Mexican state of Coahuila.

According to Melugin, the Texas Department of Public Safety will train Mexican personnel at Eagle Pass, a city in the Maverick County of Texas, in cooperation with the Texas Military Department. There, Mexican law enforcement will also receive the razor wire supplies.

Police in North Macedonia to Deport 44 Migrants to Greece

SKOPJE, North Macedonia — Police in North Macedonia said Saturday they have detained a group of 44 Pakistani migrants and will return them to neighboring Greece from where they are believed to have entered.

Police spokeswoman Suzana Pranik said the migrants were discovered late Friday in a southern region near the Greek border. They were sent to a shelter pending deportation.

Police say the migration route to central and northern Europe through North Macedonia has been all but abandoned in the past few months, as migrants have been using alternative ways, mainly through Albania, to reach wealthier Western countries.

Border Force brought 50 more migrants to UK shores today from two boats they picked up in the Channel.

The latest arrivals, which included women and young children, attempted the dangerous crossing despite Boris Johnson’s scheme to process asylum seekers in Rwanda being designed to discourage them.

Clarence Thomas Says Abortion Leak Has Changed Supreme Court

WASHINGTON — Justice Clarence Thomas says the Supreme Court has been changed by the shocking leak of a draft opinion earlier this month. The opinion suggests the court is poised to overturn the right to an abortion recognized nearly 50 years ago in Roe v. Wade.

The conservative Thomas, who joined the court in 1991 and has long called for Roe v. Wade to be overturned, described the leak as an unthinkable breach of trust.

Trans Craziness Has Ruined the Credibility of Gay Activism, Says Stonewall Founder

One of the co-founders of the far-left LGBTQ charity Stonewall has accused the group of discrediting equal rights activism by embracing far-left ideology on transgenderism, such as claiming there is no difference between the bodies of men and women.

LGBTQ activists at Stonewall have lost the plot, according to Simon Fanshawe OBE, who was one of the six founders of the group in 1989. Fanshawe, an openly gay man who spent decades campaigning for equal rights in Britain, said that he and others made gains by engaging with others of differing opinions.

Wisconsin Sen Johnson Asks AG Garland Why Madison Anti-Abortion Center Attack Not Domestic Terrorism

    I first found the present shooting on conservative NY Post. When I scrolled down to vote for or against the 18 year olds crime…there were over a thousand upvotes and maybe a few hundred down vote. Seems that conservatives are tired as hell of the black criminal rates and do not care about whites shooting blacks because it is so rare.\
