Non-Ukrainian Migrants Say: “Poor, Poor Pitiful Us!”

The following report discusses the efforts of Germany’s culture-enriching integration commissioner to prevent third-world migrants from being overlooked in preference for Ukrainians.

Now, there may be perfectly sensible reasons why one might prefer Ukrainians over Arabs or Africans — the former know how to use toilet paper, for example, and are far less likely to rape little kids in their host country. And unlike the standard-issue culture-enrichers, they’re probably eager to learn German as soon as possible. Nor will they be inclined to torch churches for being dens of blasphemy against Allah.

But those are aspects of migration that simply may not be publicly discussed in Germany. Diversity is our strength! Anyone who prefers Ukrainians over Somalis is a bigoted xenophobic racist Islamophobe, and probably a homophobe and transphobe to boot.

Non-Ukrainians feel like second-class migrants

BERLIN. The federal government’s integration commissioner, Reem Alabali-Radovan (SPD) [what a lovely traditional “German” name she has], warned against the disparagement of migrants who do not come from Ukraine. “I’m currently traveling a lot, and in my conversations with people seeking protection from other regions of the world, it’s a big topic that they feel like second-class refugees. That must not happen,” demanded the Social Democrat on Wednesday in an interview with Die Welt.

She emphasized that there must also be simplified access for migrants from other parts of the world for residence and integration in Germany. The Iraqi-born politician praised the work of volunteers in housing Ukrainian war refugees. “Volunteering enables what the state itself cannot do: personal encounters on site, individual support and the beautiful moments of helping. This solidarity is great.” However, she called for special reception structures for disabled migrants.

According to the German Press Agency, the politician recently complained that migrants are still too often asked about their origin. “You can tell why you’re being asked that,” she warned. It is difficult for people with a migration background to “constantly be made aware that you don’t belong here.”

Afterword from the translator:

I’m pretty sure that those “seeking protection” from other regions of the World are probably economic migrants, mostly young men who travel through dozens of safe third countries — more often than not with the help of expensive smugglers — and are supposed to serve as the vanguard for family reunification. Yes, all those grandparents, aunts, uncles and third cousins twice removed along with their entire brood are looking forward to a life without toil in the Land of Milk and Honey — Germoney.

I really do wonder when the bottom falls out and the money is gone, what will they do? I’ve got my suspicions, through experience and knowing somewhat the mindset of those people that are flocking into Germany and Europe. I guess living in South Africa gives you another perspective, without those rose-tinted glasses that seem to be so much in vogue in certain academented circles in Europe. Don’t worry — we have that type here too, thanks to Karl Marx, George Soros and Klaus Schwab.
