Biden Issues Exploration of a US Digital Dollar

On Wednesday, President Joe Biden signed an executive order to establish a federal strategy on digital assets and cryptocurrency. The president also ordered the exploration of a US Central Bank-backed digital currency.

One of the objectives of the executive order is for the relevant federal agencies and regulators to identify the risk posed by digital assets to the economy and financial system, and mitigate them. It also calls for regulation of the crypto industry to prevent illicit finance and mitigate national security risks.

Only 18% of Americans Say Their Wages Are Keeping Pace With Soaring Inflation

Will Biden blame this on Putin too?

In the frenzy over today’s soaring CPI print which came in at a fresh 40 years high, many missed the other, far scarier, data point from the BLS which showed that while nominal wages keep rising at an impressive pace, on a real — or inflation adjusted basis — earnings have failed to keep up with inflation for 11 consecutive months, and in February real hourly earnings contracted by 2.6% compared to a year ago. This number will get far, far worse next month when the full impact of the biggest energy supply shock since the 1970s oil crisis hits front and center.

$1.5 Trillion Federal Spending Bill Allocates $2.6 Billion to Programs That Fight “Disinformation” and “Hate”

The huge $1.5 trillion US federal spending bill, that’s expected to be signed into law by President Joe Biden today, allocates over $2.6 billion to “Democracy Programs” and requires these programs to combat “the misuse of social media to spread disinformation or incite hate.”

This requirement is buried deep into the 2,741 page bill on page 1,408 and is part of the “Title VII General Provisions” of the “Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 2022.”

Alec Baldwin Claims No Liability for Fatal ‘Rust’ Shooting, Says Contract Keeps Him Safe

Actor-producer Alec Baldwin claims, in his most detailed account of the the fatal shooting of ‘Rust’ cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, that he is not responsible for the tragedy.

Since Hutchins died on the New Mexico set for the movie in October 2021, Baldwin has been named in several lawsuits seeking damages for the fatal incident.

However, in an arbitration demand filed Friday by Baldwin’s attorneys, the actor-producer’s legal team claimed their client’s contract insulates him from financial liability in Hutchins’ death. The filing also reportedly seeks coverage of his legal fees.

Democrats Would Lose Control of Congress if Election Were Held Today, New Polls Show

The latest polls out of Washington show that President Biden and his fellow Democrats are continuing to lose ground to the Republicans despite the president’s first State of the Union Address and his recent ban on Russian oil imports.

According to WSJ’s lastest poll numbers, just 42% of Americans said they approved of President Biden’s performance in office, which was virtually unchanged from the previous WSJ poll in mid-November. That’s also roughly in line with the Real Clear Politics average, which we’ll get to later.

But on the question of who would win control of Congress in November if the vote were held today, the Republicans have a commanding lead at 46% to the Democrats 41% of respondents.

FDA Approved Pfizer Vaccine Despite 42,000 Adverse Events in First 3 Months, Prominent UK Doctor Explains

(LifeSiteNews) — Dr. John Campbell, known in the U.K. for his public support of ivermectin as a medically proven, effective early treatment for Covid-19, went on YouTube yesterday to break down the newly released Pfizer documents concerning the safety of its Covid vaccine.

The documents were released after a Freedom of Information request was granted in a federal district court in Texas. They include records of adverse events associated with the Pfizer vaccine from Dec. 1, 2020 through Feb. 28, 2021, totaling 42,086 adverse events in the first three months of the vaccine campaign. Of these, there were 1,223 deaths. Countries reporting adverse events included the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, and 53 others.

The number of vaccines administered during the same period, however, seems to have been redacted in the published report, making it impossible to establish the ratio of adverse events to vaccines administered in the relevant time period of the first three months of the Pfizer rollout.

Jussie Smollett Sentencing: Kim Foxx Says ‘Kangaroo Prosecution’ Led to Actor’s Punishment

Cook County, Illinois, State’s Attorney Kim Foxx slammed the legal team behind the criminal prosecution of Jussie Smollett, writing in an op-ed that the “justice system failed” just hours after the disgraced Hollywood star was sentenced to jail time for his hate crimes hoax conviction.

“At its best, our justice system should make people safer, hold accountable those who seek to harm others and earn the trust of its citizenry. At its worst, the system can be easily manipulated in furtherance of thinly veiled political agendas,” Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx wrote in an opinion piece published in the Chicago Sun-Times on Thursday evening. “On Thursday, the damaging, costly, and disingenuous criminal prosecution of Jussie Smollett came to an end.”

She added: “Smollett was indicted, tried and convicted by a kangaroo prosecution in a matter of months. Meanwhile, the families of more than 50 Black women murdered in Chicago over the last 20 years await justice.”

Parents Accuse Fairfax County School Board of Racism Over Admissions Policy Discriminating Against Asian Students

Sperry: Ukraine Worked With Democrats Against Trump in 2016 to Stop Putin — and it Backfired Badly

Authored by Paul Sperry via RealClearInvestigations

Six years ago, before Russia’s full-scale invasion of their country, the Ukrainians bet that a Hillary Clinton presidency would offer better protection from Russian President Vladimir Putin, even though he had invaded Crimea during the Obama-Biden administration, whose Russian policies Clinton vowed to continue

Working with both the Obama administration and the Clinton campaign, Ukrainian government officials intervened in the 2016 race to help Clinton and hurt Donald Trump in a sweeping and systematic foreign influence operation that’s been largely ignored by the press. The improper, if not illegal, operation was run chiefly out of the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington, where officials worked hand-in-glove with a Ukrainian-American activist and Clinton campaign operative to attack the Trump campaign. The Obama White House was also deeply involved in an effort to groom their own favored leader in Ukraine and then work with his government to dig up dirt on — and even investigate — their political rival.

WSJ Poll: U.S. Voters Following Ukraine News Closely

American voters are willing to accept some level of economic costs to help Ukraine, but there is little support for putting U.S. troops at risk, a new Wall Street Journal Poll finds.

The Journal survey, released Friday, found that Americans have been captivated by news and images of Ukrainian efforts to fend off the Russian invasion. An overwhelming 90% of voters in the survey said they were following the situation closely, including 54% who said they were tracking it very closely.

A plurality of 46% said the U.S. should do more to help Ukraine, compared with 35% who said the current level of assistance was about right. Only 6% said the U.S. was doing too much.

But the nature of the help that voters saw as appropriate had limits. Some 55% favored additional economic sanctions, and an equal share would send weapons and military equipment.

Yet the survey found little support for involving U.S. troops. Only 25% would send U.S. military personnel to European countries other than Ukraine, and 10% would send troops into Ukraine itself.

Canadians Still Rally After Freedom Convoy Protest Dismantled

Although the convoy ended on a bad note during the police intervention that took place on January 18th and 19th, this hasn’t stopped protesters from demonstrating every week for the past two weeks in support of the convoy and continuing to make their voices heard about their disagreement with the vaccine mandates.

On March 5, another demonstration was held on Parliament Hill, where many people gathered to march and form a human chain. A human chain was also held in Lévis, Quebec and other cities and provinces in Canada.

While people were demonstrating, the Ottawa police intervened with the demonstrators, proclaiming that according to the rules of Parliament Hill, any message that is obscene, offensive, or promotes hatred is prohibited. The question is, why didn’t the parliamentary protection service intervene?

On last night’s episode of The Ezra Levant Show, Ezra discussed how while the Trudeau Liberals have been cavalierly slandering their political enemies as “Nazis,” they’ve been arming and training and promoting actual paramilitary Nazi groups in Ukraine.

Trudeau’s National Security Adviser: Freedom Convoy Planned to ‘Overthrow the Government’

Canada’s top national security adviser Jody Thomas warns that Canadians have enjoyed living blissfully ignorant of the threats posed to domestic security, claiming that the “Freedom Convoy” organizers went to the nation’s capital of Ottawa “to overthrow the government.”

“We have a lot to unpack in this country in terms of understanding what’s going on and its impact on democracy, our institutions and our society,” said Thomas at a panel at the Ottawa Conference on Security and Defence on Thursday.

“This is a problem that is not going away,” said Thomas, adding that it will require “significant” work by the government to “try and understand and resolve.”

Vaccine Mandate for Cross-Border Truckers Raising Cost of Produce

The chair of one of Canada’s largest farmers’ groups has confirmed to Parliament that the Trudeau government’s vaccine mandate for cross-border truck drivers is raising the cost of fruit and vegetables.

Chair of the Trade and Marketing Working Group at the Canadian Horticultural Council (CHC) Quinton Woods told parliamentarians at the Commons agriculture committee on Feb. 28 that the border restrictions on unvaccinated truckers further reduced the supply of available drivers.

He said this had compounded the supply chain problems fruit and vegetable growers already faced, forcing them to pass on the burden to consumers.

They trained for this day for a long time; particularly by quashing online dissent during the two years of Covid hell, and now the big day is here: once considered an aspirational beacon of democracy, the EU is deploying some of the most egregious-to-date acts of censorship and suppression of free speech and access to information — certainly, at least, for a Western democracy.

And once considered an innovative and exciting company that brings knowledge to the people, and along the way “do no evil” — Google — and its ilk — will be there to help make it happen.

Experiment Shows UK’s Pro-Censorship Politicians Have Their Own Past Comments Deleted by Facebook

Big Brother Watch is highlighting the problem with censoring controversial but legal speech, by showcasing comments previously made by UK politicians. The civil liberties group warned that the upcoming Online Safety Bill would make the censorship situation worse.

Big Brother Watch conducted an experiment, where it used dummy personal accounts to post quotes previously made by politicians, including PM Boris Johnson and Labour Party’s deputy leader Angela Rayner.

Rayner’s comment that police officers should “shoot terrorists and ask questions second” was blocked for “violence and incitement.” Johnson’s comment that Muslim women in burkas resemble “letterboxes” was removed for “harassment and bullying.”

Four Jailed Over Islamist Killing of French Catholic Priest During Mass

Four men have been sentenced over the terror killing of a Catholic Priest in France, an attack that was perpetrated by self-described Islamic State members.

Sentences between seven years and life in prison have been handed down to four men in relation to the Islamic terror killing of French Priest Father Jacques Hamel, who was murdered at the foot of his church’s altar while celebrating mass.

The brutal killing — which saw the 85-year old have his throat slit while worshippers were taken hostage — occurred only weeks after a Tunisian drove a truck through a crowd of French civilians celebrating Bastille Day in 2016, an attack that killed 86 people.

According to a report by Reuters, none of the men sentenced on Wednesday had been present during the attack, but all were found to have some involvement with the two terrorist killers — both of whom claimed membership of the Islamic State.

Poles Won’t Run Out of Food, Food Prices Will Rise Sharply Due to Ukraine War

Polish food security is not currently at direct risk due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, however disruptions in food supply chains have and will continue to lead to an increase in food prices on global markets, the Polish Economic Institute (PIE) has revealed.

The institute explained that Poland does not import much grain from Russia and Ukraine — just 65,000 tons of Ukrainian grain worth €15.4 million entered the Polish market in 2021, and just 10,100 tons of grain was imported from Russia.

However, PIE analysts believe that the war may contribute to the worsening of food security for the rest of Europe, with Ukraine a close trading partner of the European Union’s for certain produce.

Caroline Glick: Washington’s Betrayal of Israel Has Only Just Begun

Tuesday the Washington Examiner reported that Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, (IRGC) officers are actively plotting to murder former U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton. According to the report, late last year, Bolton joined former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as a former senior official who receives Secret Service protection due to “continuing, credible and specific” threats on their lives emanating from the IRGC.

The paper revealed that despite the fact that the U.S. Justice Department knows the identity of the IRGC officers leading efforts to murder Bolton, and has the evidence to indict them, the Justice Department is refusing to issue indictments “for fear that it could derail [the administration’s] drive for a nuclear deal with Iran, currently nearing completion in negotiations in Vienna, Austria.”

Under U.S. law, it is an act of war for a foreign power to attempt the assassination of U.S. citizens in the United States. So by rights, at a minimum, the Biden administration should be expected to pursue Bolton’s would be assassins with the full force of law. But in a testament to the obsessive-compulsive nature of the administration’s pursuit of a deal with Iran, not only are President Joe Biden and his administration not retaliating for this act of war. They are giving the Iranian regime a free pass to wage war against America, on its sovereign territory…

Latest Developments

In Ukraine: Ukraine killed a third Russian general since Moscow’s invasion began more than two weeks ago, officials said Friday, as Russia repositioned its beleaguered forces in the north of the country in what Western officials worry is a prelude to a renewed attack on the capital.

Russian airstrikes pounded Ukrainian cities far from the front lines as its military grappled for control over territory it nominally captured. Russian forces kidnapped the mayor of the occupied southern city of Melitopol, who had refused to cooperate with them and continued to fly a Ukrainian flag in his office, an adviser to Ukraine’s interior ministry said.

In the West: President Biden said the U.S. will move to revoke normal trade relations with Russia, joining Western allies in a coordinated action to further punish Moscow.

Markets: Technology stocks extended their declines, dragging broader indexes to weekly losses, as volatility reigned and inflation fears heightened.

Gambia Refuses to Take Back Illegal Migrants With EU Deportation Orders

The African country of The Gambia, headed by President Adama Barrow, is refusing to take back thousands of its citizens currently living in Germany and elsewhere in the European Union who have been issued deportation orders, blocking their repatriations back to West Africa.

As a result of Barrow refusing to issue landing permits for deportation pilots from European Union countries since 2019, the bloc’s authorities have and continue to be powerless to deport 6,000 of the 16,000 Gambians currently residing in Germany who have been ordered to leave the country, Die Welt reports.

The Gambia — where 95 percent of the population is Muslim — claims that it cannot take back its citizens who are residing illegally in Europe because they are “unable to be reintegrated back into society” — and if repatriated — would bring social unrest to the country. Thus, the government is refusing to comply with international law, which obliges country’s to take back their deported nationals.

  1. From the telegram channel. https://t.me/russ_orientalist/10336

What does the statement about the conscription of 16,000 “sadiks” for military operations in Ukraine say?

Firstly, that the forces of the RF Armed Forces are not enough to hold significant territories. The shock columns passed, and in the rear they had shock groups and DRGs. Diverse “wild divisions” began to be involved in the cleansing.

And secondly, it will dramatically increase the motivation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and volunteer battalions. As happened after the active PR of the Chechen National Guard, which participated in the cleansings. On the same day, the number of Russian supporters in Ukraine dropped sharply.

I don’t know what the combat effectiveness of the Syrian warriors will be, but I have no doubt that after this news, the number of people wishing to join the ranks of the territorial defense will increase, certainly more than the indicated 16 thousand.

I think flexible Ukrainian propaganda will quickly pick up this case. Now Ukraine will remember Russian roots, that Kyiv is the mother of Russian cities, which is fighting the invasion of Asians. Videos will appear where Kyiv will be proclaimed the new center of the Russian world, Ukrainians will invite Russian volunteers to go to fight for Ukraine against the Horde. Here you will see!

I think this will lead to fermentation in the minds of Russia itself. After all, the Syrians are being recruited for the war with Ukraine, but there are no Russian volunteers. The most active and militant Russians rush to the Donbass, stand on the border of the LDNR, and they are answered “no, stay at home, Chechens, Buryats and Syrians will go instead of you.” On the other hand, the Ukrainians are inviting.

P.S. they write that a propaganda campaign of the described plan has already begun in Ukraine: “we are Slavs, Europeans against Asians.”

    • It’s been widely reported that Russian soldiers in Kherson, and other conquered areas have been attacking the local population, in various ways… I have my suspicions, as to who those “Russian soldiers” are.

And similarly, wonder what the motivation is, for the Syrians to come to fight.

  2. Comparison of financial, humanitarian and military, officially declared, US and EU aid to Ukraine
    USA > 13,6 mld $
    UE > 2,2 mld € [1,2 + 1]
Proposed by EP , EU Economical Sanctions on Poland and Hungary :
    Poland, 2.5 mld. Euros
    Hungary 1 mld Euros

    • EU is being its usual, pathetic self. But if they hate the Polish government, maybe at least they could transfer some of the funds directly to the liberal/leftist-run cities…
Many of which are struggling now, with the sheer number of arrivals.

      • No Regionalization of Poland ! No LGBT or Soros Green NGO-s..
Poland Sovereignty is not for sale..

  3. Of the $ 13.6 billion from the US, 4 are support for EU’s neighbors,
    to accept refugees …
Out of € 2.2 billion from the EU, 1.2 is macroeconomic assistance to the EU countries and 1-one is for military supplies to the EU countries

EU countries receiving refugees can use their money from the EU Cohesion funds for this, as long as they are not blocked .
Poland and Hungary money from Cohesion funds are blocked..

    • In 2015 EU gave Turkey 6 billion for breakfast migrants. euro (4 + 2).
I guess to cover up German own Wilkommen policy.

  4. In yet another example of mass hysteria psychosis, the EU has voted to impose sanctions on Hungary and Poland EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE DEALING WITH 1.6 MILLION REFUGEES from the ongoing war.

No doubt this has something to do with their unique positions on the invasion of the sub-human culture enrichers.

EU imposes sanctions on Hungary, Poland despite their accepting 1.6 million refugees

European Parliament votes 478 to 155 in favor of imposing sanctions on the two countries that have taken in the overwhelming majority of Ukrainian refugees.

The European Parliament voted on Thursday morning in favor of imposing sanctions on Hungary and Poland, its two member states that have received the largest number of Ukrainian refugees following the invasion by Russia.

The EU legislative body supported the call for the European Commission to place immediate sanctions on the two countries by a vote of 478 to 155, despite the humanitarian crisis from the Russo-Ukrainian conflict spilling over into Hungarian and Polish territory.

In a press release published shortly after the Thursday vote, the European Parliament insisted it was “high time” for the European Commission to start taking steps to protect the EU budget from member states who ignore the bloc’s rule of law.

EU lawmakers insisted that taxpayers’ money must be protected “against those who undermine the EU’s values,” Remix notes.

    EXPLAINER:

The parliamentary vote means that the European Union has diverted its attention and resources towards sanctioning two of its own members at a time when the wider European continent is in disarray and Russia is seeking to flex its muscles and assert its dominance in Ukraine, Remix comments.

It also means that the Hungarian and Polish governments must divert their own time and resources to confronting the hostility from Brussels, as both countries seek to contain the humanitarian crisis is unfolding on the European Union’s external border and take in hundreds of thousands of refugees.

    https://citizenfreepress.com/breaking/eu-this-is-freaking-insane/

    • If the Hungarian army would swoop down into Brussels and arrest the top EU cadres, everybody could breathe a sign of relief.

  5. Connect the dots folks. Russia has submitted evidence to the UN of the presence of Biolabs in Ukraine that are operated by the US. Those labs are for producing bioweaponry for use in germ warfare. Russi is right next door in and in the line of sight of what those labs are producing. Under those circumstances Russia’s attack on Ukraine was an act of self-defense against what the perennial Nazi George Soros, with the help of Mdme. Hilarity, John Kerryied away, and O’Bama have planned, built, and intended to be used in the very near future. Now the ice-cold dish of revenge for what we did to Russia in Cuba is being served up to us.
May the Lord God help us all who were not party to this iniquity.

  6. If anyone has access to Dmitri Orlov blog, you can see first hand the hatred that Russians heap on Ukrainians. Mr. Orlov, instead of talking of denazification (as promised in the title) lets loose his inner demon.

    Here is an excerpt:
“Disconnected and cast adrift, badly mistreated by its new colonial masters, this population steadily degenerated. It was not helped by widespread idiocy caused by iodine deficiency: the soils of the region lack the iodine necessary for normal human development. It was largely illiterate and its language drifted away from mainstream Russian and formed a separate set of often mutually incomprehensible village dialects. Then, in 1818, Alexei Sosnovsky formalized his native Sumy Region dialect in a book he published in St. Petersburg, titled “A Grammar of a Little Russian Dialect.” It was as much a description as a concoction (I could write “A Grammar of a Western Virginian Dialect” if somebody paid me enough) but it was then used to make largely spurious claims about a separate Ukrainian national identity.”

“Thus we had a ne’er-do-well population that was used to being discriminated against, despised and excluded by every occupying power they came into contact with, permanently angry at the world and hell-bent on revenge but perpetually too weak and disorganized to carry it out.”

“the uniquely Ukrainian cultural elements limited to ethnic outfits, elements of cuisine and a few poems and folk songs”

See? Their language is just a silly dialect, their culture non existent, and they are congenital idiots besides, with a chip on their shoulder. This attitude on the Russian side is a big part of the problem.

    • First time I hear this name. Even more than that, this name is not heard in the press or social networks.
      ————-
Now everyone is like mad dogs off the chain.

      • Orlov is a Russian engineer who lived in America for many years. He was running an obscure blog that got more popular as he likened the downward spiral of America to what happened in the Soviet Union towards the end. He was also notable for living in a small boat with his wife and child in the Boston harbor, and then sailing away for the winter.

He now lives in Russia. He is an able observer and writer, and often a pleasure to read. This is not his better work, however.

  7. And now this:

The public is waiting for the statements of the famous businessman Bill Gates, especially if he decides to announce a new step that the future will witness. After he predicted the spread of the Corona virus two years before this happened, he is detonating an unexpected surprise on the world.
And Gates expected this time to develop a modern technology by Chaotic Moon that focuses on software, design and development of mobile devices, in the form of electronic tattoos on the skin, in which medical and sports data are collected and allow making calls and messages.

This plan will not be implemented overnight, but Gates hopes that it will arrive as soon as possible and replace the current mobile phones, noting that this invention has advantages that this tattoo will be placed on the skin with built-in microprocessors that help to integrate it into the body as it will replace mobile phone location.

    # Now I believe satan is in charge.
