The Senate was on the verge of voting down Mr. Trudeau’s action, and his reversal was reportedly an effort to pre-empt a Senate vote.

In other news, the vaccine passports of four million French citizens have expired, due to their failure to get their booster shots in a timely manner.

CBS Earns Blistering Ratio for Trying to Blame US Inflation on Ukraine Situation

When legacy media outlets shill for an administration ahead of midterms, the propaganda is usually delivered in a semi-believable headline that doesn’t cause readers to immediately call bulls***.

Not CBS…

In a late Tuesday tweet, the network asserted that “The U.S. economy has been hit with increased gas prices, inflation, and supply-chain issues due to the Ukraine crisis.

7-Year-Old Boy Allegedly Choked, Put in Restraint Hold, Thrown Across Room for Not Wearing Mask in School

On February 18, Anthony Chavez received a call from the principal asking him to pick his son Chase up from school. A student who regularly began bullying Chase after he stopped wearing a mask in class destroyed Chase’s Lego creation during recess.

AP-NORC Poll: Most in US Oppose Major Role in Russia Strife

WASHINGTON — A new poll indicates there’s little support among Americans for a major U.S. role in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, even as President Joe Biden warns that Americans will pay a price when it comes to oil and gas prices.

Biden has acknowledged a growing likelihood that war in Eastern Europe would affect Americans, though he has ruled out sending troops to Ukraine. Gas prices in the U.S. could rise in the short term. And Russian President Vladimir Putin has a range of tools he could use against the U.S., including cyberattacks hitting critical infrastructure and industries.

TALLAHASSEE, Florida (LifeSiteNews) — Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis endorsed slashing $200 million in education funding from a dozen counties that defied the state’s ban on mask mandates in public schools, adding that parents deserve compensation for the harms done to children by such mandates.

‘Hero to Zero’: Daily Caller Documentary Tells Stories of First Responders, Teachers Persecuted for Refusing COVID-19 Vaccine

Daily Caller field reporter Jorge Ventura has released a new documentary, titled “Hero To Zero,” which tells the stories of first responders and teachers who were placed on unpaid leave or fired for refusing to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

During the height of the pandemic, the mainstream media praised police officers, firefighters, and nurses as heroes protecting society through a public health crisis.

Now that the COVID-19 vaccine is available to the general public, inoculation has become a term of employment, leaving non-complying laborers, educators, and healthcare workers vilified based on a personal medical decision.

California, demanding a vaccinated workforce, became the first state in early August to mandate vaccination for healthcare workers, after they’ve worked throughout the COVID-19 shutdown while residents were forced to quarantine.

Just 36% of Americans Approve of How Biden Has Handled Putin’s Ukraine Standoff and Only 40% Have Faith in His Foreign Policy, Another Dire Poll Shows

President Joe Biden continues to garner low marks for his tenure in the Oval Office as a new poll shows Americans’ faith in his foreign policy has dropped during the Russia-Ukraine crisis.

Only 40% of voters approved of Biden’s handling of foreign affairs, a new Gallup poll found, while a low 36% gave the president’s a thumbs up for his handling of Russia’s threat to Ukraine.

The numbers track with Biden’s low marks for his handling of the economy and the COVID pandemic — all of which have contributed to his a steep decline in his overall approval rating since he took office a little more than a year ago.

More Evidence COVID Was Tinkered With in a Lab? Now Scientists Find Virus Contains Tiny Chunk of DNA That Matches Sequence Patented by Moderna Three Years Before Pandemic Began

Fresh suspicion that Covid may have been tinkered with in a lab emerged today after scientists found genetic material owned by Moderna in the virus’s spike protein.

They identified a tiny snippet of code that is identical to part of a gene patented by the vaccine maker three years before the pandemic.

It was discovered in SARS-CoV-2’s unique furin cleavage site, the part that makes it so good at infecting people and separates it from other coronaviruses.

The structure has been one of the focal points of debate about the virus’s origin, with some scientists claiming it could not have been acquired naturally.

The international team of researchers suggest the virus may have mutated to have a furin cleavage site during experiments on human cells in a lab.

They claim there is a one-in-three-trillion chance Moderna’s sequence randomly appeared through natural evolution.

But there is some debate about whether the match is as rare as the study claims, with other experts describing it as a ‘quirky’ coincidence rather than a ‘smoking gun’.

Pritzker Continues Battle Over Masks in Schools, Appeals Case to Illinois Supreme Court

The state of Illinois has appealed a Feb. 17 decision from the 4th District Appellate Court which effectively rejected state rules requiring masks in schools.

The appellate court ruling left in place a temporary restraining order from a lower court that bars about 170 school districts around Illinois from enforcing COVID-19 mitigations required by the state. These include vaccination rules for teachers and staff, mask requirements and guidelines for “exclusion” — the practice of telling students and staff to stay home if they’ve been exposed to COVID-19.

The restraining order also voided several administrative rules governing these mitigations.

Soros-Backed Prosecutor Seeks Collaboration of Financial Sector to Push Gun Control

Why would someone who abhors the criminal justice system run for its highest office in the most populous county in the United States?

By the looks of things in Los Angeles, the answer is to pursue a radical political agenda and to turn the full weight of a very large and powerful bureaucracy against its principal’s political and ideological enemies.

Earlier this month, Los Angeles County Prosecutor George Gascón sent letters to American Express, Visa, and Mastercard, urging them to ban use of their platforms for the online purchase of what the letters called “ghost gun kits.” The letters did not define this term in detail, but the effort is clearly aimed at products that allow consumers to make their own firearms for personal use, a practice that is lawful under federal law and dates back to the founding of the country.

Soros Donated $250,000 to Fiscal Sponsor of Louisville Group Who Bailed Out Attempted Murderer

The legal fund responsible for bailing out a Black Lives Matter activist charged with attempted murder in Louisville has financial ties to liberal billionaire George Soros, who has donated hundreds of millions of dollars to Democratic causes.

The Louisville Community Bail Fund, which is a “fiscally sponsored project” of the Alliance for Global Justice (AFGJ), bailed out Quintez Brown, 21, after he was arrested and charged for the attempted murder of Jewish Democratic mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg last Monday. Brown was released two days later after the fund posted the required $100,000 to bail him out, where he will be kept on house arrest.

The Alliance for Global Justice, a liberal advocacy group that has received scrutiny for aiding Palestinian terrorism and supporting the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, received $250,000 in 2020 from the Foundation to Promote Open Society (FPOS), a grantmaking arm of Soros’s Open Society Foundations (OSF), according to the group’s 990 tax forms. The $250,000 contribution was designated to “catalyze Black communities into the global movement for climate justice.”

During a monologue on his Fox News show, Tucker Carlson wondered why Americans should hate Vladimir Putin, asking if he was responsible for problems such as the fentanyl crisis, creating a global pandemic, or jobs in the U.S. being shipped abroad.

Doubling down on his ‘why should I care?’ narrative, Carlson explained how the “patriotic duty to hate Vladimir Putin” was just another left-wing elitist obsession.

A Look Inside Trudeau’s Militarized No-Go Zone in Ottawa

The Trudeau government used excessive force and violence to remove a group of peaceful and unarmed protesters in Ottawa. They created a No-Go Zone.

How is any of this legal? It isn’t.

The Canadian Civil Liberties Association has condemned this behaviour, saying that: “time and time again, Canadian courts have ruled against exclusion zones and other limits on the press.”

B.C. Now Firing Government Employees Put on Leave Over COVID Shots

It’s a week of reckoning in British Columbia as hundreds of health-care workers and public employees are now being terminated after being forced onto unpaid leave last year by provincial COVID vaccine mandates.

B.C. is now the only province that has not signalled definitively when any of its vaccine policies will end. The province — which does not allow rapid testing — has among the most stringent vaccine mandates in the country, if not the world.

Leaked: Canadian Border Services Agency Monthly Newsletter Decries White Fragility

The February iteration of the Canadian Border Security Agency’s newsletter was penned by the organization’s Forward Together team: Johanne Charest, regional director general of Canada Border Service Agency’s Atlantic Region; Charlotte Demers-Doiron, champion, employment equity, diversity and inclusion; Kim Beals, Atlantic representative of the CBSA anti-racism task force; Taylor Olie, anti-racism ambassador.

This edition of the newsletter is all about race: white fragility, white saviourism and white solidarity. Though the newsletter promises to be “anti-racist”, it makes some sweeping statements and broad assumptions about the psyches of all white people based on skin colour, like these excerpts below:

  • “when confronted about race, white people are highly fragile because one will feel that their sense of decency and moral good — not to mention the deeply-engrained sense of superiority — is being threatened.”
  • “White fragility often looks like anger, fear or guilt bubbling to the surface, or behaviours such as argumentation, silence or withdrawal from the situation.”

Ottawa Protester: Tyrants Mandating Deadly COVID Vaccines Will ‘Stand Before God and Give an Account of What They’Ve Done to Innocent People Throughout the Land’ (Video)

The countless number of healthy young people have died after receiving a Covid vaccine and everyone responsible for their deaths “will stand before God and give an account of what they’ve done to innocent people,” warns Alvin, a demonstrator supporting the Freedom Convoy in Ottawa.

After posting a photograph of a family member on a light pole, Alvin explained how the 39-year-old healthy, woman died within four days of receiving a Covid vaccine.

“This woman here is my sister’s son’s ex-wife. She took the shot on Oct 13 and by Oct 17 she was dead,” he told the Gateway Pundit. “She took the shot. Why? Because she wants to travel. So, she comes home. She sleeps all day Friday — all day sleeping.

“Saturday she gets up and she’s stumbling around. She is going, ‘I need to go to the hospital, I need to go to the hospital.’ Her boyfriend said, ‘Nah. whatever.’ That afternoon they had to rush her in by ambulance. By Sunday morning, she was dead — 39-years-old.”

After the heavy-handed law enforcement to dismantle the demonstration on Friday and Saturday on Parliament Hill, police officers went after other supplies sites around the city.

They had warned demonstrators that by 4:30 pm, if people and trucks were remaining on scene they would move in, and this is what happened. Police did block the main road and a lot of resources of police came to the site for towing trucks and arresting the few people who were still present. Most of them had left already.

Thousands of People, Hundreds of Trucks Ignore Emergencies Act to Convoy in Edmonton

The Saturday afternoon anti-COVID-19 mandate protesters also ignored the local honking ban brought in by Edmonton mayor Amarjeet Sohi, Trudeau’s former natural resources minister.

The Liberals announced Monday the feds would be invoking the Emergencies Act, an extreme measure supposed to be reserved for 9/11 level attacks or natural disasters beyond the level of provincial authorities to respond. The EMA gives authorities extraordinary powers to outlaw peaceful protests, and seize assets, bank accounts, and trucks of those involved or supporting in the demonstrations deemed illegal.

Banks across Canada have frozen Canadians’ accounts to the tune of nearly $8 million after the Trudeau government ordered a crackdown on the freedom convoy’s financial support.

According to Blacklock’s Reporter, the Department of Finance said during a Commons finance committee meeting that even a $20 donation could lead to consequences.

“It would be unlikely that someone who gave $20 three weeks ago or even $20 post-February 15 would have been captured by a freeze. It’s not impossible,” said assistant deputy finance minister Isabelle Jacques.

All of that has been squashed due to indiscriminate mandates at her campus and clinical placement, Health Sciences North, which is a local hospital in Sudbury.

Vaccine-Injured Woman From B.C. Breaks Her Silence

Remember the catchy Big Pharma-loving phrase, “the first shot, is the best shot?” Well, that certainly wasn’t the case for many who took the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, including a B.C. woman named Celeste Pennington.

Pennington, a mother of two, small business owner and wife, suffered from multiple adverse reactions after “doing her part” by taking her first shot for AstraZeneca. Now she’s suffering more so, due to the province’s vaccine passport which has segregated her from parts of society due to not being able to take a second dose. She has now finally broken her silence about what she went through.

Germany: Scientists Call for an Immediate End to ‘Gain-of-Function’ Research

The dangerous experiments with pathogens with global pandemic potential should stop, said Prof Roland Wiesendanger from the University of Hamburg in Germany and organiser of the call to end gain-of-function research.

“The current pandemic has taught us what devastating effects it can have when pathogens become extremely easily transmissible from person to person, even if the mortality rate due to the virus is only in the range of one percent or less. For at least ten years, dangerous pathogens such as avian flu viruses or SARS-like viruses have been adapted to human cells within the framework of so-called ‘gain-of-function’ research, which involves an enormously high risk for the outbreak of worldwide pandemics. Such research projects continue to be financed — partly with public money — and this with much more dangerous viruses, some with lethality rates above 50 percent,” the authors said.

A virologist at a respected US research institute recently summed up the potential danger succinctly in one sentence as follows: “This pandemic is nothing compared to what comes next when we get airborne Nipah or Ebola.”

It is the responsibility of scientists and the media worldwide to point out this huge potential danger and to sensitise politicians as well as society as a whole. A group of scientists from various disciplines as well as from numerous countries in Europe, America, Asia and New Zealand are therefore now addressing the global community with the following “Hamburg Declaration 2022” with the aim of immediately ending the “gain-of-function” experiments with pathogens that are dangerous for humans.

Why I Blame the Arrogant, Foolish West: Our Response to This Crisis in Ukraine Has Been to React With Mistrust and Abuse, And With Blatant Attempts to Worsen the Situation, Writes Peter Hitchens

We have been utter fools.

We have treated Russia with amazing stupidity. Now we pay the price for that. We had the chance to make her an ally, friend and partner.

Instead we turned her into an enemy by insulting a great and proud country with greed, unearned superiority, cynicism, contempt and mistrust.

I have to endure, often several times a day, listening to people who are normally perfectly sensible and reasonable, raging wildly against Russia and Russians.

Once, I was just like them. I had the normal anti-Russian prejudice of so many Western people.

But, by great fortune, I am not like them now. I lived in Russia, I knew Russians as friends. I learned to distinguish between what was Russian and what was Communist.

And I saw something most people will never see — a pivotal event in history, when we could have changed the world for the better…

India: Blast at Hetero Drugs’ Nakkapalli Unit, Two Killed

Talking to the reporters, Vizag collector V Seshadri said that the blast, which took place in plant’s chemical reactor, injured four other people.

Two killed in Hetero Drugs, one of the leading pharma companies headquartered in Hyderabad, unit near Vizag on Saturday after a blast in the bulk drug unit. The blast occurred in its unit in Nakkapalli, about 100 km from Vizag a little after 5 pm.

Speaking to Business Today, Vizag collector V Seshadri said, “there was a blast in the chemical reactor and there were two causalities and four others were injured.”

On what would have caused it, he said: “One of the reasons that being suggested is that the steam that is to be used for the reaction has to be supplied in a regulated manner but because excess steam was supplied the reaction got accelerated and there was a blast.”

He clarified that “it is an accident and there will be no domino effect. It is a blast which is confined to a particular reactor and that reactor has been fully shut down now and there will be no other consequences.”

He also said that the two casualties seem to have been a result of burn injuries and not on account of inhalation of gas or chemicals…
