Ontario Premier Doug Ford declared a state of emergency due to the Freedom Convoy blockades, and a Superior Court judge ordered truckers to unblock the Ambassador Bridge between Windsor and Detroit. However, the truckers held firm, and as of last night the bridge was still blocked.

Inflation Costs American Households $276 More Per Month
We all know the toll that inflation is taking on our everyday lives. We can see it at the gas pump, at the grocery store, and just about everywhere else we spend money.
Inflation has hit 7.5%, and we’ve just seen the largest one-month increase since 1982.
“Shortages of supplies and workers, heavy doses of federal aid, ultra-low interest rates and robust consumer spending combined to send inflation leaping in the past year,” the Associated Press explains. “And there are few signs that it will slow significantly anytime soon.”
And we now know just what kind of impact this level of inflation is making on American households. Ryan Sweet of Moody’s Analytics has estimated that the average U.S. household is paying $276 per month more than it did before inflation soared so high.

Accused Waukesha Parade Killer Darrell Brooks Jr. Pleads Not Guilty
The Wisconsin man accused of fatally plowing his SUV through a crowd at the Waukesha Christmas parade pleaded not guilty to dozens of criminal charges Friday.
Darrell Brooks Jr., 39, is facing 77 charges for the vehicular rampage Nov. 21 that left six people dead and dozens more injured.
Brooks had his head newly shaved and wore a mask in a brief court appearance Friday that lasted less than five minutes. He is being held on $5 million bail.

Anti-Mask Protests Being Held Throughout Suburbs as Mask Controversy Continues
NAPERVILLE, Ill. — The debate over mask policies is causing disruptions for school districts all across the suburbs and parents as well as students have organized protests.
Some Neuqua Valley students plan to stage what they call a peaceful walk-in at 7:15 a.m. Friday. They say they are not happy with the school district’s decision to keep the mask mandate in place despite a downstate judge’s ruling.
Monday’s board meeting of the Indian Prairie School District 204 started, but the board never proceeded with its agenda because some people in attendance refused to wear a mask. The board met the next evening over Zoom.

California Considers Law to Require All Workers to be Fully Vaccinated Against COVID-19
California workers would be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 under new legislation introduced Friday by Democratic lawmakers.
Assembly Bill 1993, introduced by Assemblywoman Buffy Wicks, D-Oakland, would require employees and independent contractors to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 unless the employee obtains an exemption for a medical reason, disability or “sincerely held religious belief.” Those who received an exemption would be required to be regularly tested.

College That Banned Armed Police Calls for Backup During Shooter Threat
Brooklyn College banned armed police officers on campus, so they had to call for armed police from other campuses during an active shooter scare on February 3.
The Daily Mail reports that Brooklyn College administrator Michelle Anderson disarmed the campus police several months ago after a “school official said she was ‘triggered’ by the sight of a female campus security officer wearing a firearm.”
The officer was carrying a Glock 19 9mm for a duty gun at the time.
The Mail points out that the decision to disarm Brooklyn College officers came even though the college is located in an area where “gun crimes have risen a staggering 111.1 percent year-on-year.”
Then came February 3, 2022, when an “active shooter” scare made it necessary to call in armed police from other campuses in order to protect Brooklyn College students. On-campus security personnel were also allowed to go to their lockers to get their guns during the incident,

DHS Moves to Counter Truck Convoy in US Ahead of Super Bowl Sunday Amid Trucker Protests
White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Friday the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) had deployed 500 employees and is “surging additional staff” in coordination with California police forces to prevent disruptions at the Super Bowl in response to an international trucking protest.
The press secretary’s comments came just moments after President Biden spoke with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau regarding a two-week trucking protest that has disrupted transportation routes and supply chains between the U.S. and Canada.

Far-Left Activist Charged Over Vandalizing Slain Female Chicago Officer’s Memorial
On Wednesday, the Illinois State Police announced that authorities had arrested the far-left activist accused of vandalizing slain Chicago police officer Ella French’s memorial, which had been set up in the James R. Thompson Center.
In a press release, the Illinois State Police said that law endorcement arrested 26-year-old Anna Kochakian and charged her with the Class Four felony of Criminal Damage to Property — Defacement of a Police Memorial.

Fed Up With Their County, Upstate Towns Consider Secession
MARILLA, N.Y. (AP) — Some towns in upstate New York opposed to mask mandates and other public health measures put in place during the pandemic are considering voting with their feet and switching counties.
The Buffalo News reported representatives from Marilla, Wales, Holland and Grand Island were among a group that met last week to discuss leaving Erie County for Wyoming or Niagara counties.
Marilla Supervisor Earl Gingerich Jr., whose town is about 8 miles from downtown Buffalo and hosted the meeting, said the effort is serious and that Erie County government directs more of its resources toward Buffalo and its close suburbs at the expense of smaller towns.

Federal Judge Stops Biden Admin’s Carbon Cost Executive Order
Afederal judge granted a preliminary injunction on Friday against President Joe Biden’s executive order to force a carbon cost on nearly every aspect of American life.
The executive order “established a ‘working group’ of federal appointees to establish a damage value, or ‘social cost,’ based upon global environmental damages from climate changes,” according to the attorney general’s office.

Five Phoenix Police Officers Shot, Wounded While Trying to Rescue Baby
Five police officers were shot, four of whom were trying to rescue a baby, early Friday morning in Phoenix, Arizona.
FOX 10 notes the first officer was shot when he responded to a shooting call at residence near 51st and Broadway. A barricade situation followed, with the shooting suspect holed up in the residence.

They couldn’t mask their excitement.
Adorable video shows young kids at a Las Vegas school jumping for joy when told they could ditch their face masks.
The footage, posted to Twitter on Thursday, captured the class of youngsters at an unnamed elementary school jumping up, dancing and cheering in glee when told Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak had rescinded the state’s COVID-19 mask mandate earlier in the day.

One US Education Dept. Supports BLM Activism Week Stressing End of Nuclear Family, Just 3 Reject it
Only one state department of education pledged support for the controversial “BLM at School Week of Action” program that has been implemented in schools across the country and which calls for the “disruption of Western nuclear family dynamics.”
Fox News Digital reached out to all 50 state departments of education asking if they endorse or support the program that was implemented in schools stretching from Washington state to Massachusetts last week. Washington state’s equivalent of the department of education was the only one to say it is “supportive of school districts who want to recognize Black Lives Matter At School Week in their schools.”
Three state departments of education told Fox News Digital they do not support the curricula: South Carolina, Georgia and Louisiana.

Phoenix Police Identify Man Suspected of Killing Woman, Wounding 9 Officers
A man was found dead after Phoenix police said he fatally shot his former girlfriend and injured five officers early Friday at a home near 51st Avenue and Broadway Road.
The man was identified as Morris Jones, 36, police said during a news conference on Friday afternoon. The woman was not identified.
Four other Phoenix police officers were wounded during the incident by bullet shrapnel, according to spokesperson Sgt. Andy Williams. Officials previously said only three officers were wounded by shrapnel.
The injuries to nine Phoenix police officers could possibly be the most to occur in a single incident at the department, Williams said.
Williams explained the investigation is “incredibly complex” and information is subject to change. As of 4 p.m., Williams said that of the five officers shot, four remained hospitalized and that all were expected to survive.
Mayor Kate Gallego, Chief Jeri Williams and other city leaders condemned the incident as a “senseless act of violence” and commended officers during a Friday news conference.

How did the shootings happen?
Phoenix police responded to the home at about 2:15 a.m. Friday after receiving a report of a woman who was shot.
The shooter invited the first arriving officer inside and then “ambushed” him as he approached the door and shot him several times, Sgt. Williams said. The officer was able to get to safety as backup arrived and called out the occupants of the home.
Then, another man from inside the home came out holding a baby girl, Sgt. Williams said. He placed the baby on the ground, walked toward police and was detained.
As officers attempted to take the baby to safety, four officers were shot, Sgt. Williams said. Another four were injured by bullet shrapnel.
Two officers returned fire and the shooter then barricaded himself in the home, Sgt. Williams said.
The scene was ultimately secured, police said. The suspect was found dead inside the home.
A woman was also found injured in the home, Williams said. She died Friday afternoon, Sgt. Williams confirmed to The Arizona Republic…

Senators: CIA Has Secret Surveillance Program That Collects American’s Private Data
The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has been secretly collecting data in bulk for years without a warrant and some of this data includes information about Americans, according to a newly declassified letter sent by the Democratic senators Ron Wyden and Martin Heinrich.
In the declassified April 2021 letter, Wyden and Heinrich alleged that the CIA has secretly conducted its own bulk data collection program which was authorized under Executive Order 12333 — an order signed by President Ronald Regan in 1981 that extended the surveillance powers of US intelligence agencies.
According to the senators, this authorization under Executive Order 12333 allows the CIA to conduct secret surveillance without any “judicial, congressional or even executive branch oversight.”

Senate Bills Protect Conservative Speech, Ban Critical Race Theory
A bill to prevent university administrators from stifling conservative speech, a bill to count classes on the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights as credit toward diversity and ethnic studies course requirements and a bill banning critical race theory from college campuses all received a public hearing on Thursday.
In the hearing of the Senate Committee on Universities and Technical Colleges, several conservative college students gave testimony saying they felt like they were unable to speak up about their views in a variety of classes while university professors said the bill banning critical race theory would have a chilling effect on campus speech and academic freedom.
Republicans in Wisconsin and across the country have spent the past year and a half working to ban critical race theory — a graduate school-level framework that states American institutions are shaped by racism — from universities, K-12 schools and trainings for government employees. The movement has resulted in school districts across the country banning books from libraries and school curricula.

Twitter has told Sen. Ron Wyden that it has finally severed ties with a Swiss-based tech company that was accused of exposing sensitive data. Several other companies have since stopped business with the tech firm.
Mitto helps telecom companies deliver text messages in bulk to billions of people around the globe. The company sends automated texts for things such as two-factor security codes, promotions, and appointment reminders.
Towards the end of last year, Mitto’s co-founder and COO Ilja Gorelik was accused of selling access to the company’s networks, allowing the clandestine access of people’s locations and even call logs, according to Bloomberg.

Virginia’s GOP-Led House Passes Seven Election Bills Including Ones on Voter ID, Early Voting
The GOP-led Virginia House of Delegates has passed seven election-reform bills this week, including one that will require photo ID to vote and another to shorten the commonwealth’s early voting period.
The measure would cut early voting from a month and a half to two weeks, and another, if passed, would require voters to submit absentee ballot requests for each election, according to The Virginia Star newspaper.

A group of Woodland students and community members protested the state’s mask mandate Friday.
About 80 students from fifth to eighth grade participated in an organized protest outside the middle school Friday morning, said Eric Jacobson, communications manager for Woodland Public Schools. Biden Urges Trudeau to Use Fed Powers to End Bridge Blockade
The White House has urged Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to use federal powers to get trucks in the ongoing blockade moving again as the fervent COVID-19 demonstrations continue to disrupt economies on both sides of the border.

Breaking: TD Bank to Hand Nearly $1.4m in Freedom Convoy Funds to Ontario Court
Canada’s Toronto-Dominion Bank struck a financial blow against the “Freedom Convoy” protesters in Ottawa on Friday, announcing that it plans to surrender $1.4 million in donations to the group to an Ontario court.

Manitoba is joining Alberta, Saskatchewan and Prince Edward Island in dropping its vaccine passports and mask mandate.

Canadian Judge Orders 7 P.M. End to Border Bridge Blockade
A Canadian court ordered a group of trucker protestors off of a border bridge between Ontario and Michigan Friday, giving the blockade until 7 p.m. to disperse.
The so-called “Freedom Convoy” has been blocking traffic from the bridge for five days in protest of COVID-19 mandates, forcing plant closures and work stoppages in Detroit, Michigan, and Windsor, Ontario, because materials can’t get across the border.

Justin Trudeau Promises ‘Quick Action’ on Trucker Blockade in Call With Biden
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau promised “quick action” in response to the so-called “Freedom Convoy” blockading a key border crossing on the Michigan border, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Friday.
The commitment came during a Friday call between Trudeau and President Biden over ongoing protests against Canada’s COVID-19 restrictions.
“The two leaders agreed that the actions of the individuals who are obstructing travel and commerce between our two countries are having significant direct impacts on citizens’ lives and livelihoods,” Psaki said.

National Defence Says Military Not Involved in Ottawa Convoy Protests
The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) has said it has no plans to intervene in the ongoing Ottawa trucker convoy protests that are entering their third week of demonstrations.
Ottawa Police chief Peter Sloly said he was looking at possible “military aid to civil power” on Wednesday, prompting military officials to shut down any speculation that they might assist in dispersing protestors.

New Poll Shows Half of Canadians Sympathize With Trucker Convoy
A new Ipsos poll shows growing support for the trucker convoy and freedom protestors.
The survey, which was commissioned by Global News, found that 46% of respondents said that the grievances expressed by the protestors are “legitimate and worthy” of sympathy.
When asked exclusively of 18 to 34 year-olds, support shot up to 61%.

No Dismissals at Public Health Agency After PPE Stockpile Screwup
The shocking admission was made during a House of Commons public accounts committee meeting on Thursday afternoon during an exchange between Ontario Conservative MP Philip Lawrence and Dr. Harpreet Kochhar, president of the Public Health Agency of Canada.
Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), tasked with the responsibility pandemic preparedness, emptied several strategic stockpiles, allowed others to expire and closed warehouses to save money — though PHAC’s own internal reports from 2011 warned managers to maintain a four month supply of masks, gloves and gowns.
Tossed in the landfill were 8,839,942 masks, gowns and other PPE the year before the outbreak of COVID. PHAC had an annual budget at the time of more than $600 million.

Police in Ontario have admitted to scanning Facebook Groups for those that support the Freedom Convoy protests, finding their addresses and turning up at their doorstep to provide “information” about peaceful protests.
A viral video from a woman has been shared around social media, showing an officer turning up on the doorstep after the woman was taking part in a freedom-focussed Facebook group.

Roadblock: Ambassador Bridge Protesters on Why They’ve Formed a Blockade
Earlier this week, we ventured to Windsor, Ont., to check out the latest — and most financially significant — trucker protest in Canada. On Monday evening, several truckers parked their 18-wheelers on the Ambassador Bridge, eventually forcing the bridge to close.

Truckers in Southern Alberta Hold the Line Despite RCMP Enforcement
The scene at the RCMP blockade just outside of Milk River, Alberta is truly something to behold. A group ranging from hundreds to at times thousands as rallied together and set up a makeshift village along the highway in support of the truckers down in Coutts, Alberta blockading the border.
For those unfamiliar with the situation, or perhaps those who have been misled about what is happening at this site, all vehicles are pulled off to the sides of the highway or parked in the ditch. The only vehicles impeding traffic at in fact RCMP and police vehicles. There are campfires, play areas, impromptu kitchens, coffee and snack stations, all of which is being shared for free. Aside from the fact that everything is set up alongside the highway, it feels entirely like a family reunion campout.

Trudeau Vows to Do ‘Whatever it Takes’ To End Freedom Convoy Protests
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is vowing to do “whatever it takes” to shut down the Freedom Convoy protesters who are blocking Ottawa streets and transportation arteries across the U.S.-Canada border.
The prime minister held a series of meetings with opposition leaders, cabinet officials and senior members of government about the ongoing protests that have effectively shut down the capital city’s downtown core, the Ambassador Bridge and several other border crossings connecting the United States and Canada.
In a statement late Thursday evening, the prime minister’s office announced that Trudeau is considering every option to break the protest — points that he reiterated in a press conference on Friday afternoon.

Dutch Parliamentary Committee Blocks Request for COVID Data
The Forum for Democracy party has been trying for months to find out what percentage of Corona patients in hospitals are vaccinated and unvaccinated. Both the Ministry of Health and RIVM refuse to provide this data.
“I can’t give them at all,” said RIVM boss Jaap van Dissel during a technical briefing to MP Pepijn van Houwelingen. “You will receive the longer answer shortly.” That answer never came.
Van Houwelingen again requested during a meeting of the VWS committee on Thursday that RIVM share the available Covid-19 data at hospital level with parliament within a week. A majority of the committee members refused to support the request. Van Houwelingen expressed his indignation: “What are your promises worth?”
“I can hardly believe what I’m hearing,” Van Houwelingen said. “It’s just a request for a reason why data can’t be given. If we, as a committee, already lie because of that — that to me is really unbelievable.”

France: Thousands of Cops Deployed in Paris to Block COVID Protest Convoys
Thousands of cops were deployed in Paris on Friday to try to prevent convoys from forming like the ones in Canada — as protests against COVID-19 restrictions spread across the globe.
Authorities in and around France’s capital stationed more than 7,000 officers at tollbooths and other key transportation sites in an attempt to stave off the scattered convoys of vans, cars and trucks that were en route to the city, despite a ban issued a day earlier.
Citing “risks of trouble to public order,” Paris police have banned the protests from Friday through Monday. Violators who block traffic can face up to two years in prison, more than $5,000 in fines and a suspended license, officials said.

France: Teens Lynched by Mob of Youths Over ‘Bad Look’
A pair of teenagers was brutally beaten by a large mob of very young suspects over a ‘sideways glance’ in France this week, according to reports.
The disturbing incident unfolded at around 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday at the Arsenal Concert Hall in Metz, a city in the department of Moselle in northeastern France.
A pair of 16-year-olds was skateboarding around the steps of the Arsenal when they were confronted by two suspects around the ages of 12 or 13.
The tweens were physically aggressive, outraged over a perceived ‘bad look’ they had received, Le Républicain Lorrain reports.

German Court Rules Vaccine Mandate for Health Care Workers Can Proceed
Germany’s Constitutional Court on Friday ruled that a mandate requiring health care workers to present proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or recovery from the disease should go into force as planned.
Opponents had sought an injunction to postpone the mandate’s application while a legal challenge against its constitutionality is formally reviewed.
A decision on whether the vaccine mandate is constitutional will be ruled on by the court at a later date. The mandate is due to begin on March 15.

Telegram Begins Blocking Some Channels in Germany After Meeting With Government
After meeting with German government officials, Telegram has blocked several channels, one of which is run by Attila Hildmann, who has been labeled a Covid “conspiracy theorist” by the media.

The UK Wants to Police “Misinformation” Online. Its Own Health Service Was Caught Posting False Info
Less than a week after the UK proposed criminalizing the posting of some types of “knowingly false” information online, England’s National Health Service has taken down a social media video over inaccurate information.
Last week, NHS England posted a video on its Twitter account with more than half-a-million followers to promote vaccination in kids.
The video claimed that 1% of children will be hospitalized because of Covid, 136 kids in the UK had died because of Covid, and 117,000 children have “long Covid.”
The video went viral attracting comments and retweets from some of the most popular influencers in the health category.

Health authorities in Finland have admitted they have been forced to call back unvaccinated nurses due to worker shortages a week after Finland banned the unjabbed from frontline roles in healthcare.
Last week, Finland’s amendment to its Communicable Diseases Act that banned unvaccinated healthcare workers from jobs requiring interaction with patients and customers came into effect, but some health authorities say they are forced to call back unvaccinated professionals as they faced “great” staff shortages.

Luc Montagnier, the French virologist, Nobel laureate and vehement vaccine critic has died. He was 89. He passed away on February 8 at a hospital in a suburb of Paris.
The scientist from the Pasteur Institute in Paris shared the 2008 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with Francoise Barre-Sinoussi and Germany’s Harald zur Hausen. He will be remembered as a scientist who spoke the truth to power.

Caroline Glick: The Ayatollahs’ Men in Washington
Former Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif recently co-authored a book in Farsi about the 2015 nuclear deal that tells us a great deal about how we should be assessing the nuclear negotiations taking place in Vienna between Iran and the P5+1 (the U.S., Russia, China, France, Germany and France). Titled, The Nuclear Deal: The Untold Story of the JCPOA, Projecting Iran’s Security, Rights and Development, the book sheds light on a critical question. How did the U.S. come to accept Iran’s negotiating terms on all the major issues despite bipartisan opposition to Iran’s illicit nuclear program?
Iranian human rights activist Heshmat Alavi translated the relevant portion of Zarif’s memoir on his Twitter account. Zarif wrote that in 2014, the regime decided to send a copy of their draft agreement to the other negotiating teams through “an individual in contact with the U.S. delegation and an active International Crisis Group (ICG) member”
“The goal,” Zarif explained, “was to pave the path for lobbying for our draft agreement.”
Zarif wrote that the highly secretive move produced the desired result. After the ICG’s Iran desk officer Ali Vaez received Iran’s draft agreement, the ICG published its own policy paper, which he authored that reflected the contents of the Iranian draft. Vaez’s paper, “Iran and the P5+1: Solving the Nuclear Rubik’s Cube,” was embraced by Americans and became the basis for the 2015 nuclear deal.
Until 2014, Vaez’s boss was Robert Malley, who joined the Obama administration that year after serving as the ICG’s Program Director for the Middle East and North Africa. Shortly after joining the Obama administration as Special Assistant to the President and the White House Coordinator for the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf Region, Malley became a leading member of the U.S. negotiating team with Iran.
In 2017, Malley returned to the ICG as its head of policy and later became its president. Malley left the ICG again in 2021 when President Joe Biden appointed him to serve as his envoy for talks with Iran…

French President Emmanuel Macron Refused to Take Russian COVID Test

French President Emmanuel Macron refused to take a Russian COVID-19 test this week ahead of his meeting with President Vladimir Putin over fears of the Kremlin keeping his DNA, according to a new report.
Two sources familiar with Macron’s health protocols told Reuters that the French president was given two options for the meeting: Agree to a PCR test administered by Russia authorities to meet closely with Putin or abide by stricter social distancing guidelines.
“We knew very well that meant no handshake and that long table,” one of the sources told the outlet. “But we could not accept that they get their hands on the president’s DNA.”

New Zealand Police Back Off as Freedom Convoy Protests Build
An estimated 1,500 pro-freedom demonstrators continued to rally outside the New Zealand Parliament on Friday in defiance of the police and the government. They gathered in what was described as a carnival atmosphere just 24-hours after some 120 of their number were arrested and removed.
After witnessing the shocking footage of how New Zealand’s police handled the protestors, who were initially supported by politicians and allowed onto the lawn outside the Wellington parliament, alongside the mass arrests — including a lady who was dragged naked by her hair across the lawn by the police — the freedom convoy crowd has now increased from 200 to 1,500.

North Macedonia: Indian Migrants Detained on New Route
SKOPJE, North Macedonia (AP) — Police in North Macedonia have detained 16 migrants from India who were allegedly trying to enter neighboring Greece illegally, as migrant-smuggling gangs try new routes in answer to pandemic travel restrictions and tougher border controls.
Three Pakistani men aged 21 to 31 but not further identified who were traveling with the Indian migrants were arrested on smuggling charges, authorities said Thursday.

Polish Couple Sentenced in Germany for Inhumane Transport of Migrants Through Belarus
A Polish couple has been sentenced by a German court to jail terms for stuffing 16 Kurdish migrants into a van and driving them to Germany from Belarus under inhumane conditions.
“You have made yourselves guilty of inhumane and degrading treatment of people,” the judge said on February 10.
The judge imposed a three-year sentence on the 39-year-old man, who was found to lack a driver’s license.
The woman received a sentence of two years and four months.
The couple had admitted transporting the Iraqi Kurdish group — 12 adults and four children — from the city of Bialystok on Belarus’s border through Poland to Germany, where they were discovered by police in what were called inhumane conditions.

Think of the Wildlife: NGOs Demand Poland Stop Border Wall Over Ecological Concerns
Several non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and others have called on Poland to stop the building of its anti-illegal immigration border barrier along the border with Belarus, claiming it could harm the local environment.

Terrorimam supports Muslim protest against Sweden

The terror-linked imam Abo Raad in Gävle supports the Arab wave of protests against Sweden and Swedish authorities. It appears from posts he wrote on Facebook. And now on Sunday a larger demonstration is planned in Gothenburg.
The Muslim dissatisfaction with the Swedish LVU law, where children who risk being harmed can be taken care of by the authorities, is growing. The protests have also received a great deal of international attention. Mainly among Muslims living in the Middle East and in other countries.
Now on Sunday, a larger demonstration is planned on Gustav Adolf’s square in Gothenburg. The dissatisfied Muslims claim, among other things, that Sweden is violating the Convention on the Rights of the Child by LVU-taking care of children.
Led by violent Arabs
Several of the leading figures in the Muslim wave of protests are Arabs who themselves have lost custody of their children. It appears from court documents that Samnytt has read.
One of them is a man from Lebanon who came to Sweden with his Syrian wife and their joint children during the refugee crisis. As soon as the family came to Sweden, she left her husband. According to her, the ex-husband has been violent towards both her and their joint children. The woman now has sole custody of the child and lives with protected personal data.
Another of the leading men in the protest movement lost custody of his child due to his wife’s drug abuse. After several attempts by the authorities to resolve the situation, it eventually became so chaotic that several police patrols had to be alerted to save the children from their drug-psychotic mother.

Supported by radical imam
Gävleimamen Abo Raad, who has a large following among radical Muslims in Sweden, is another person who supports the protest movement. In several posts and videos on his Facebook page, he accuses Swedish authorities of kidnapping Muslim children.
In the posts, the Raad urges Muslims to participate in the demonstrations that are organized in various places in protest against Sweden.

Acute threat to Sweden
The security police have classified Abo Raad as an “acute threat to national security” and requested that he be deported to his home country Iraq. The reasons for this are covered by secrecy, but the Raad has been able to link it to the financing of the terrorist group Islamic State.
In April 2019, Raad was taken into custody together with his son and placed in one of the Swedish Migration Agency’s detention centers. Six months later, however, they were released. Both the Migration Court and the Migration Court of Appeal considered that there was a risk that Abo Raad and his son would be harmed if they were deported to their home country.

Wants to “prevent assimilation”
The protests against Swedish authorities also receive support from the Islamist party Nyans. In posts on Facebook, the party worries that cared for Muslim children will be Swedishized if they are placed in Swedish foster families.
“Children belonging to another culture or religion must be guaranteed an upbringing in accordance with their original culture and religion at the placed family home to prevent possible assimilation,” the party writes, among other things.
