However, GiveSendGo responded by saying that the court lacks jurisdiction over it, and that it will ignore the order.

Meanwhile, a third border crossing, the one between Emerson, Manitoba and North Dakota, has been blocked by farmers and truckers.

In other news, police in Serbia intercepted hundreds of illegal migrants who were on their way to the European Union.

Inflation Reaches 40-Year High: January CPI Posts 7.5% Annual Gain

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics Thursday morning registered a 7.5% annual gain in January. AssangeDAO Concludes Raise With $53m to Help Julian Fight for Freedom

The Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) supporting Wikileaks founder Julian Assange’s legal plight has concluded its raise, generating a whopping 17,422 Ether (ETH), worth roughly $53.7 million.

As previously reported by Cointelegraph, the AssangeDAO intends to use the fund to bid on a one-of-one NFT from a drop called “Censored” by digital artist Pak in collaboration with Assange. The proceeds of the sale will go towards Assange’s defense fund and additional awareness campaigns as he fights extradition to the United States this month.

Assange has been languishing in a United Kingdom jail for the past three years, with U.S. prosecutors seeking to try him on espionage charges. Supporters say that Assange is a whistleblower, journalist and publisher.

Federal Judge Confirms Embedding Instagram Posts is Not Copyright Infringement

Instagram has come out victorious from a legal challenge launched against it by two photographers on copyright grounds.

The lawsuit, filed before a California federal court in the spring of 2021, revolves around Instagram’s embed feature and whether it facilitates copyright infringement by third parties.

Photographers Alexis Hunley and Matthew Scott Brauer sued on behalf of themselves and any Instagram user who had their photos embedded elsewhere on the internet since 2013, but a judge found no merit in their claims, granting Facebook’s image-sharing platform a motion to dismiss.

NPR Declares Using Wrong Colour Emojis is Probably Racist

In another example of the establishment left’s obsessive grift with race and social segregation, publicly funded NPR published a story claiming that if you use the wrong colour emoji in text messages in relation to your own skin colour, you are probably a racist.

In the article titled “Which skin color emoji should you use? The answer can be more complex than you think”, writers Alejandra Marquez, Janse Patrick Jarenwattananon, and Asma Khalid (it took three of them to take on this weighty subject) argue that choosing to use a yellow emoji, rather than a white, brown or black one is “the neutral option” that will leave the respondent free to “focus on the message” rather than race.

Of course, any rational person wouldn’t immediately see an emoji in a text and start thinking about race. Not these taxpayer funded hacks though.

Police Beating of Unconscious Trump Supporter Was “Objectively Reasonable, “ Department Rules

By Joseph M. Hanneman of The Epoch Times

The beating of an unconscious Trump supporter by a DC Metropolitan Police Department officer on January 6 was deemed to be “objectively reasonable” after an investigation by the department’s Internal Affairs Bureau, The Epoch Times has learned.

The Internal Affairs investigation was opened in September 2021 based on a complaint filed by a Texas man who assembled video evidence of the officer striking an unconscious Rosanne Boyland with a steel baton and a large wooden stick at the entrance to the West Terrace tunnel at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Boyland, 34, of Kennesaw, Ga., was pinned under a pile of protesters who fled the tunnel when police deployed a crowd-control gas. After several minutes of being crushed by the weight of other fallen protesters, Boyland lost consciousness and stopped breathing, witnesses have said.

Psychological Damage From Pandemic Lockdowns “Could Last a Generation”, Professionals Warn

At this point, the fact that the COVID pandemic has spurred an unprecedented mental health crisis shouldn’t come as a surprise to anybody. We have reported on the enormous impact on Americans’ mental health repeatedly, both here and here.

Aside from the obvious physical impacts of the pandemic, mental health professionals have told CNBC that many people have continued to struggle with the immense emotional and societal changes even as some of the restrictions on business and movement have started to ease. Because of this, many fear that the psychological impact from the pandemic could last a generation.

Even as mask requirements are beginning to disappear, millions of Americans are having a difficult time adjusting to the “new normal”.

One psychologist, Valentine Raiteri, who works in New York, told CNBC: “I have never been as busy in my life and I’ve never seen my colleagues as busy.”

Ambassador Bridge Blockade Makes Political Waves

The Ambassador Bridge, which connects Windsor Ontario with Detroit Michigan, is the busiest international crossing in the world.

Coming in at 1.5 miles long, more than 40,000 people including commuters, tourists and truck drivers cross each day, carrying an average of $323 million worth of goods.

The bridge plays a substantial role in both the Canadian and U.S. auto industries, as it is a key conduit to transport motor vehicle components and parts.

So when things come to a grinding halt at that border crossing, as has occurred recently amid the Canadian freedom convoy and protests making headlines, it is bound to make waves.

Protesters Troll Cops With Empty Jerry Cans in Ottawa

In the wake of the events surrounding the Freedom Convoy protests in Ottawa, the mayor decided to declare a state of emergency to prevent people from providing fuel to the truckers, as well as an injunction that made it illegal to honk your horn in the city. Even before this all came into effect, there were already several reports of police seizing gas cans.

Several images made the rounds on the internet and confirmed that Ottawa police officers were indeed confiscating jerry cans. For many, this measure was unacceptable and cruel, so the idea was launched to walk around the city with empty gas cans to troll the police in a peaceful way in support of the truckers.

France: The Trogneux Mystery

The First Lady of France could end the suspense of the disappearance of Jean-Michel Trogneux in the blink of an eye, by appearing in the simplest of clothes: A birth suit. Especially since the French are not overly sensitive about nudity.

Obviously, in the case at hand, it would be a less appealing prospect, but the only effective one to put an end to the gossip.

In order to pay tribute to the unexplained disappearance of Jean-Michel Trogneux, the “brother” of Brigittte Macron, a promotional operation has been launched: That of the Perruques Jaunes, the Yellow Wigs.

Rumours persist that the French Head of the State who wants to “piss off” his fellow countrymen, had been the object of statutory rape by his drama teacher at the age of 14. On Saturday, February 12, 2022 and during the whole campaign, freedom demonstrations will be marked by Yellow Wigs.

  2. “Czech Government to Lift Most Coronavirus Measures by March, But Face Masks Will Remain”

Honestly? Barely anybody is wearing them anymore anyway. Most people wear it under their nose or chin, many others have opted for a surgical mask, and there are more and more who don’t wear a mask at all and security workers at malls or public transport drivers just don’t care about checking anymore. Of course, there’s some people who still wear it the moment they step out their home, to the moment where they come back (who knows, maybe they even wear it indoors), but that’s their choice.

  6. What’s ” cooking ” in Poland..Two years ago, crowds of young people took to the streets of Polish cities, denying the right to life to children with Down syndrome (pre-natal Abortions) and trying to enforce the lawfulness of murder on the state (Abortion). It was then that postontological devastation and conceptual distortion in teenagers manifested themselves. What we call the departure of young people from the Church is in fact the breaking of conceptual continuity. We don’t understand each other because the basic concepts mean something completely different to us. It is precisely the restoration of their true meaning to concepts that is the best response to what we associate with the departure of young people from values.

The concepts I am writing about are derived from classical knowledge protected by realistic philosophy. While we have Marxism on the one side, the alternative to it is Realistic philosophy. There is no other way but to allow young people to confront these two sources: Marxist and realist. We no longer have the same conceptual apparatus that would connect the generations. If we are to meet our children and not lose them, we must find communication with them, that is, establish the same concept apparatus, so that the definitions remain valid. The devil is afraid of this confrontation, because it will give young people a tool to recognize manipulation. Hence the postulate that bishops as soon as possible initiate interdisciplinary research institutes on neo-Marxism and neoliberalism, their connections and their use in an atheoretical imperial order. The greatest difficulty is to recognize post-Marxism and its connections with neoliberalism in the field that cannot be explained in the course of logical reasoning, because both doctrines abolish the process of freedom, relationality in the community, and win mutual recognition from different starting points for one goal, which has the character of destructive destruction. The apparent contradiction and their mutual relationship arouse the greatest surprise and surprise – they must be thoroughly analyzed by the theological and anthropological instruments of Christianity.
