Gates of Vienna News Feed 1/31/2022

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, after withdrawing to an undisclosed location when the Freedom Convoy of truckers converged on Ottawa, has tested positive for COVID-19. Mr. Trudeau said he would not meet with the organizers of the truckers’ protest, presumably because he does not want to infect them with the Wuhan Coronavirus.

In other news, last November’s asylum applications for the European Union approached the record levels recorded during the migration crisis of 2016.

Authored by Mimi Nguyen Ly and Jan Jekielek via The Epoch Times

Dr. Robert Malone, a virologist and immunologist who has contributed significantly to the technology of mRNA vaccines, issued a strong caution for those who seek to have their children vaccinated against COVID-19.

“Think twice before you vaccinate your kids. Because if something bad happens, you can’t go back and say, ‘whoops, I want a do-over,’“ Malone told EpochTV’s “American Thought Leaders” program in an interview, Part 1 of which premiered on Sunday.

Arrest Made in Investigation of Multiple ‘Suspicious’ Vehicle Explosions in Sacramento

A 23-year-old man has been arrested on felony charges linked to two potentially related incidences of “suspicious explosions” in unoccupied vehicles in California’s capital city, authorities said.

Sacramento police officials identified the suspect as Cody Wiggs, who was being held without bail Monday morning at the Sacramento County Jail, according to online jail records. Wiggs was arrested late Saturday night and booked at the jail on two felony counts of maliciously or recklessly possessing an explosive in public, which is a felony, according to the online records.

He is also facing a misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger, the records show.

Investigators seized two active pipe bombs along with additional undisclosed evidence linking Wiggs to a pipe bomb that was detonated in a residential neighborhood.

Police first responded to a report of an explosion on Sunday, Jan. 23, around 9:45 p.m. and “located an unoccupied vehicle with significant damage consistent with an explosion occurring inside the vehicle,” officials said in a statement…

Embalmers Discover Strange, Rubbery ‘Worms’ In Bodies of the Jabbed

Dr Jane Ruby spoke to embalmer Richard Hirschman for the Stew Peters Show on Thursday about “strange, rubbery” plugs found in the veins of deceased Americans. Hirschman took a number of photos of the “worms”, which were shown during the interview.

Many vaccinated people who end up on Hirschman’s cutting table have died of a heart attack or stroke. He took long, fibrous strings from one of the bodies. The red part looks like a normal blood clot, but the white fibrous material was not normal, Hirschman said.

The embalmer said a blood clot normally breaks apart easily when touched. “But this white stuff is pretty strong,” he explained. “It’s very pliable, it’s very hard. It is not normal.”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis Directs Millions to Funding State College’s Truck Driving Program

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is directing millions of dollars to truck-driving education at Florida State College in Jacksonville. The governor made his announcement to tap the state’s Job Growth Grant Fund on Thursday, in apparent light of the truck convoy that was making its way down to Ottawa, Canada at the time.

While the announcement may simply be a coincidence, DeSantis highlighted the supply chain problems and a desire to attract more businesses to use Florida ports, which have not experienced the same bottlenecks as ports in California and other parts of the country.

Italo-American, 22, Stabbed to Death in New York

Man, 19, arrested after fight outside Third Avenue eatery

(ANSA) — ROME, JAN 31 — A 22-year-old Italian-American, Anthony D’Onofrio, was stabbed to death in a fight outside a restaurant on Third Avenue in New York on Saturday night, local media reported Monday.

A 19-year-old man, Kevin Cuatlacuatl, has been arrested.

Born in Brooklyn of a Sicilian mother and a father from the province of Latina south of Rome, D’Onofrio dreamed of being a racing driver and earned his living driving tourist carriages in Central park, US media said.

It is the second fatal attack involving an Italian in New York in less than two months.

On December 2, Columbia University Italian student was stabbed to death not far from the campus of the elite New York university.

The dean identified the victim as Davide Giri, 30, a student doing post-doctoral research after graduating at the Politecnico University in Turin.

Giri was reportedly attacked at about 11 o’clock in the evening at the intersection between 123rd Street and Amsterdam Avenue, near Morningside Park.

He was reportedly on his way back home after a soccer match with his amateur team, the NY International FC.

His 25-year-old assailant, named by the New York Post as Vincent Pinkney, was arrested in Central Park. (ANSA).

Masks on Planes to Become Permanent Like Anti-Terror Rules

Budget airline Ryanair says that mask mandates on planes will become as ingrained as post-9/11 rules about liquids in carry on bags, suggesting they will basically become permanent.

The comments on face coverings were made by Neil Sorahan, the airline’s finance chief, who suggested rules put in place to fight COVID-19 will become fixed in a similar way to measures introduced after the terror attack on America in 2001.

“Masks will be something that will be with us for a while longer to come. If that is the price we have to pay for the next few months, into summer — it’s a small price to pay,” said Sorahan.

Prosecutors: Clark County Deputy Mistook Vancouver Officer for Suspect Before Fatally Shooting Him

The 20-year-old man whose chase through Battle Ground, Washington, on Saturday culminated in the fatal shooting of an off-duty Vancouver police officer by a Clark County sheriff’s deputy is being held in jail on $5 million bail, court officials decided on Monday.

Julio Cesar Segura may face charges of first-degree attempted murder, attempt to elude, possession of a stolen vehicle, first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary. Segura made a first appearance in Clark County Superior Court on Monday.

The most serious of those charges stem from what occurred after the chase, when Segura reportedly tried to enter the home of Vancouver officer Donald Sahota, 52. He fought with Sahota in the officer’s driveway, according to investigators, then stabbed him and ran into Sahota’s home where his wife remained.

A Clark County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to the scene and mistook the officer, who was carrying his service weapon, for the suspect, prosecutors said in court Monday.

The deputy, who has not been named, fired several shots from a rifle, striking Sahota, investigators said. Sahota died at the scene and Segura was taken into custody…

Border Blockaders Settle in as Tensions With Police Rise at Coutts, Ab Crossing

The nation’s capital isn’t the only place being ground to a halt by trucks. The Coutts, Alberta border crossing with Sweetgrass, Montana is being blockaded by Canadian truckers opposing COVID-19 restrictions.

Sunday night Rebel News sent a two men crew, Kian Simone and Sydney Fizzard from Calgary to gather first hand reports from the scene as police and tow trucks mobilize to clear the blockade. The two reporters have been the only media allowed in to witness police negotiations with the blockaders who have been prevented from receiving supplies and medicine from supporters. Police, however, have been allowing mainstream media into the site of the blockade.

Due to the way the police are kettling the truckers into one location, Syd and Kian are cut off from their car. If they leave, they won’t be permitted to come back.

Everything We Know So Far About the Nazi Flag Guy

The Freedom Convoy has arrived in Ottawa, and their positive and hopeful message has inspired freedom-loving people all over the world.

Unfortunately, much of the legacy media coverage has not focused on the optimistic story about the truckers, the groundswell of support they received and the many communities across Canada who have united and rallied behind their cause. Instead, the media has chosen to focus on two or three men flying egregious flags.

Two or three men flying racist flags should not taint an entire movement. But actual Nazis should be named, shamed and driven out of the Freedom Convoy movement. We need to know who these individuals are and why they are trying to harm the reputation of hard-working Canadians using their democratic right to hold a peaceful protest.

Ezra on Glenn Beck: ‘Freedom Convoy’ Eyewitness on Canada’s Shocking Anti-Protest Tactics

But the anti-protest tactics used by both Canadian police forces and government officials (like Castro super-fan President Justin Trudeau) are just like the tactics used in Venezuela today, Levant says. Truckers with all kinds of backgrounds are tired of their overbearing government mandating rules that just don’t make sense. Levant explains how their stand against that government has formed a new coalition of Canadians — onetime Trudeau voters included — who are tired of the ‘bully state.’

Interview: Maxime Bernier Calls Out Gov’t Leaders During Ottawa’s Massive Freedom Convoy Protest

On Saturday January 29, 2022 the Canadian truckers’ Freedom Convoy — consisting of tens of thousands of transport trucks from all corners of the nation — began to converge on Canada’s capital city of Ottawa, while hundreds of thousands of supporters came out to protest in the city’s downtown, centred on Parliament Hill.

There was an incredible degree of non-stop noise on the scene (honk).

The message from truckers and protesters was clear: End the COVID mandates. Lift the restrictions. Respect the people’s rights, return their freedoms and let them govern their own lives.

The truckers with whom I spoke all vowed to remain parked blocking the streets of Ottawa “as long as it takes” until their demands of an end to restrictions are met.

While MPs were instructed by parliamentary security to hide (from the incredibly peaceful and polite crowd of protesting Canadians) and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau himself fled to an “undisclosed location,” only a handful of politicians were on scene to speak with the people and hear their concerns.

One among them was Maxime Bernier, leader of the federal People’s Party of Canada, who gave a speech to the colossal crowd Saturday afternoon. I caught up with him immediately after he concluded his remarks for a quick interview.

As with previous elections, Le Pen struggled to find money to fund her campaign, as every French or European bank refused to lend to her. Although it remains unclear at this time which bank lent the money this time around to Le Pen’s National Rally, the move comes after she was forced to take out a loan from a Russian-owned bank during the last election.

Germany Backs Down on Threat to Ban Telegram

A German minister’s crusade against Telegram seems to be over before it ever really started; not so long ago, Interior Minister Nancy Faeser threatened to ban the encrypted messaging app in Germany because it was used as a tool of communication by anti-lockdown activists.

Even though this may not be getting widely reported by mainstream media in Germany, and elsewhere, anti-lockdown gatherings are quite frequent, and those behind them like to use independent and secure apps like Telegram to organize and coordinate.

Most French Consider Themselves Right-Wing

French people are interested in but suspicious of politics, want more democracy, and are an increasingly right-wing electorate. This is the landscape in which the candidates for the April presidential election evolve according to the barometer of political confidence, carried out by the Center for Political Research of Sciences Po (Cevipof) from a large panel of 10,500 people questioned by OpinionWay, which Le Figaro published exclusively.

The main takeaway? The French political climate remains weighed down by mistrust. After two years of a major health crisis, “weariness” and “distrust” are the two words that best express the state of mind of the population. From the memory of a political scientist — this barometer has existed since 2009 — the French have never said they are so suspicious of politics (37 percent), which equals a 14-point increase compared to May 2021.

Poland Faces Challenge of an Ageing Population Combined With a Declining Birth Rate, 2021 Census Reveals

The 2021 Polish census showed a slight decrease in the country’s population compared to a decade ago, the head of Statistics Poland (GUS) Dominik Rozkrut has revealed.

According to the 2021 census, 38.2 million people lived in Poland at the end of March 2021. This is a 330,000 decrease — just shy of 1 percent — on the results of the 2011 census.

The Polish population was split between 48.5 percent of men and 51.5 percent of women, a similar gender split to that shown 10 years ago. The slightly larger female population has been attributed to women having a longer average lifespan in Poland.

Statistics Poland warned however that there had been significant changes in the age structure of Polish population.

  1. Hatred of whites makes the professor resign

    Published 31 January 2022 at 18.14
Canadian psychology professor Jordan Peterson has left the University of Toronto. This is because he no longer sees any future for his white students – no matter how talented they are.

In an article in the National Post, the acclaimed professor has now announced the decision to leave his university position.

He explains that the dominant “diversity ideology” is destroying the education system and, by extension, society as a whole.

“My qualified and highly educated heterosexual white male doctoral students have almost zero chance of being offered research positions, despite outstanding scientific credentials,” writes Jordan Peterson.

Instead, these services go to “minorities”, in accordance with the current diversity program.

Jordan Peterson also notes that there are not enough qualified non-white people to fill the need for “diversity” that universities consider themselves to have. This leads to a large proportion of new researchers actually being unqualified, which hits hard on the quality of the scientific work.

“This, combined with the abolition of objective testing, has compromised the universities so much that it can hardly be overestimated. And what happens at the universities eventually colors everything,” writes Jordan Peterson.

  2. Dear Baron, I received a security warning upon accesing GoV today, you might wanna look into that.

  3. The truckers seem to be in the situation of the dog that managed to catch the car. Now that he has caught it, what is he going to do with it?

    • They really need to play up the cowardice of Baby Doc. Ridicule is a highly effective weapon against such a buffoon, and should try to make such a fool of him for his refusal to face his countrymen that a vote of no confidence is brought.

Baby Doc wants to turn the protesters into a bunch of fascists and racists, so there should be every effort made to turn him from a “leader” of the country into a laughingstock and humiliate him for running away.

  4. Trudeau is acting like another cowardly weasel British Lord Cornwallis at Yorktown who refused to come out of hiding claiming he was ill. HA HA
