2nd NYPD Officer Dies After Friday Shooting in Harlem

Wilbert Mora and Jason Rivera were both shot responding to a domestic disturbance call; Rivera died Friday night and the suspect, Lashawn McNeil, died on Monday

NYPD Officer Wilbert Mora has died after a days-long struggle, following his shooting in Harlem Friday night.

Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell announced Mora’s death Tuesday in a tweet, shortly after he underwent surgery to donate his organs.

[…]

Mora and Officer Jason Rivera were shot responding to a domestic disturbance call. Rivera died Friday night, and accused gunman Lashawn McNeil, who was shot by a third officer, died Monday.

Rivera’s funeral is set for Friday at St. Patrick’s Cathedral; details on services for Mora were not immediately available.

Rivera, Mora and another uniformed officer responded to a domestic disturbance call around 6:15 p.m. Friday on West 135th Street by a mother who said she was fighting with her son, according to police. She did not mention any injuries, or any weapons, on the call…

Biden Administration Withdraws OSHA Employee Vaccine Requirement Following Supreme Court Decision

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration on Tuesday withdrew its November 2021 order that mandated U.S. workers at companies with 100 or more employees receive a COVID-19 vaccination.

“Job Creators Network and American small businesses have defeated the Biden administration’s illegal vaccine mandate that threatened to burden job creators with new costs and exacerbate the historic labor shortage,” said Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of the JCN, the first to petition the Supreme Court to block the rule.

The withdrawal follows a recent ruling by the high court that blocked the vaccine mandate for big businesses, though allowed the administration’s mandate for healthcare workers to remain in place.

Big Tech is Ramping Up Its Lobbyist Funding Following Antitrust Proposals

Big Tech corporations are trying to further cement their position by spending more than ever on lobbying the US government, as they hope to kill proposed anti-trust and privacy bills.

Last year Apple, Amazon, Google and Facebook spent more money than ever, $55 million — up from $34 million in 2020 — in a bid to influence lawmakers, reports based on lobbying disclosures show. And these companies are linking the issues of antitrust reform and US national security, arguing that the former would undermine the latter.

Chicago Justice: Armed Home Invasion Nets a Few Weeks in Prison for Perp Who Was Shot in Butt

In the Land of Lincoln, prison sentences are a lot like dog-years, only in reverse. A home invasion conviction in Chicago proves the point. Christopher Johnson, 16-time felon fresh out of prison on parole, found himself a weapon (go figure!) and committed an armed home invasion in 2019. He forced entry on an occupied apartment in a ritzy neighborhood a couple blocks from Lake Michigan.

Cops caught up with him after the (legally) armed resident shot the home invader in the butt, narrowly missing Mr. Johnson’s Johnson.

DOJ Awards Anti-Crime Grants to Soros-Tied Groups Backing Anti-Cop Reforms Linked to Crime Explosion

The Department of Justice has awarded crime-reduction grants to some groups that back the same anti-police, soft-on-crime policies implemented by George Soros-funded district attorneys that critics argue have unleashed a surge in urban crime.

Those policies — including the defunding or restructuring of police departments, bail reform, less incarceration, decriminalizing and deprioritizing a broad range of criminal offenses — have been linked to skyrocketing criminal violence in many Democrat-led cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Chicago and New York City.

FDA Halts Use of Regeneron, Other Monoclonal Antibody COVID Treatment, DeSantis Says Move ‘Reckless’

The agency’s announcement Monday was followed by the Department of Health and Human Services stopping, at least for now, the distribution of the antibody medications made by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and Eli Lilly, according to The Washington Post.

Regeneron became well known in November 2020 after President Trump received it to treat his COVID infection while the drug was still in early clinical trials and praised its effectiveness.

Fox News Special Report Outlines Fresh Questions on What Fauci, Government Knew About COVID Origin

Fresh questions are being raised about what American scientists and federal health officials knew about the origins of the coronavirus and whether conflicting evidence was suppressed and hidden from the public.

Gov. Reeves Blasts Critical Race Theory, Touts Education Improvements in State of the State Address

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) — Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves delivered his State of the State address on Tuesday.

He started by speaking about how strong a position he believes Mississippi to be in.

“I can still stand before you tonight and declare, without reservation, and without qualification, that the state of our state is not only strong, but stronger than it has ever been,” he said.

He thanked educators and claimed Mississippi’s schools have made a “turnaround of historic proportions.”

He touted a graduation rate at 87.7 percent and an increase of students completing career and technical courses.

“For decades we were at the bottom, but now we are not. It takes time to go from last to first. But Mississippi kids are on the move, and it is revitalizing our state’s future.”

He also addressed critical race theory, an issue that has been a hot topic among legislators this month.

Wisconsin Lawmakers OK Tougher Penalties for Protesters

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin lawmakers approved bills Tuesday that would create tougher penalties for protesters who participate in riots and deface government statues.

The proposals come after protesters burned swaths of downtown Kenosha and damaged the Hans Christian Heg and Lady Forward statues at the state Capitol during demonstrations in the summer of 2020.

The protests figure to be a key talking point for Republicans as they try to paint Democrats as soft on crime on the campaign trail this year. U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson has already accused Democratic Gov. Tony Evers and Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, who is running to unseat Johnson this fall, of not acting quickly enough to stop the protests in Kenosha and spurring on protesters.

Conservative MPs Cheer on Trucker Convoy, Voice Opposition to Vaccine Mandates

OTTAWA — Conservative MPs are publicly cheering on the trucker convoy that’s making its way across the country with the intent of converging onto Parliament Hill this weekend, voicing opposition to the federal government’s mandatory vaccination policies.

The so-called “freedom convoy” was sparked by outrage over a vaccine mandate recently imposed on cross-border truckers, though the convoy has garnered support from anti-vaccine mandate groups who feel requirements to be vaccinated against COVID-19 curb their freedoms, and among those who dislike Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

“I wanted to give a shout out to all the truckers. I think what you guys are doing is incredible. You’re fighting for our rights and freedoms, and, right now, it feels like we’re a little bit at war and those rights and freedoms are at stake,” the woman in the video says.

‘So Many Angry People’: Experts Say Online Conversation Around Trucker Convoy Veering Into Dangerous Territory

As a growing group of truckers and supporters make their way to Ottawa in a protest against vaccine mandates, experts say the rhetoric online concerning the convoy is getting increasingly worrisome.

A group of truckers and concerned citizens began a cross-country trip to Ottawa over the weekend, in protest of vaccine mandates in the country. The groups expect to arrive in Ottawa this Saturday.

The movement has since gathered steam nationwide, as videos show highway gatherings in support of the truckers, but some experts worry the online conversation surrounding the convoy has veered into dangerous territory.

“There are people who genuinely believe that this is overreach by the federal government, but there are also a lot of other groups that are involved and individuals who are involved who have a long history of very overheated rhetoric,” Kurt Phillips, founder and former lead writer for Anti-Racist Canada, told CTVNews.ca in a recent phone interview.

Organizers for the convoy insist they are abiding the laws and intend for a peaceful rally in Ottawa this weekend…

“Anti-Vax” Olympic Gold Medallist Dies of COVID (But He Was Vaccinated)

British broadcaster Sky News breathlessly reported on the COVID death of “anti-vax” Olympic gold medallist Szilveszter Csollany, before admitting later in the article that he was vaccinated.

Well, this is awkward.

The 51-year-old Hungarian, who was the 2000 Sydney Olympics rings champion, had been hospitalised since December with the illness, a stay which included weeks on a ventilator.

Citing Hungarian media outlet Blikk, Sky News reported that Csollany had “expressed anti-vaccination views on social media.”

This led the news outlet to headline the article ‘Anti-vax’ Olympic gold medallist dies of COVID’, clearly suggesting that the athlete had decided not to get the vaccine and that this contributed to his death.

However, in the 3rd paragraph of the story, it is acknowledged that “the six-time World Championship medallist had been vaccinated to allow him to continue to work as a gymnastics coach.”

Businesses in Wales Demand Vaccine Passport Exemptions After Government Fails to Prove They Work

Businesses in Wales are demanding vaccine passport exemptions after the government failed to provide any evidence that the scheme prevents the spread of COVID-19.

In response to the Omicron outbreak, in December pubs were also restricted to the “rule of six” and table service only, while all nightclubs were ordered to close.

Despite restrictions supposedly being lifted later this week, nightclubs, cinemas and theaters will still be forced to demand COVID passports.

France: ‘The Vaccinated End Up More Infected Than the Unvaccinated’

Maligned French epidemiologist Didier Raoult expressed grave doubts about the current vaccination campaign.

“Why is Omikron vaccine resistant?” Prof Didier Raoult recently asked himself this question. The director of the IHU Méditerranée infectious disease institute in Marseille has doubts about the effectiveness of the vaccines. Referring to data from the Johns Hopkins University Covid-19 dashboard, Raoult examined the outcome of the global Corona campaign.

“We have administered nearly 10 billion doses of the Covid-19 vaccine worldwide and there are more cases than ever before. So the explanation that the Covid-19 vaccine controls the disease has become a bit complicated. By the way, we have the same problem in France. We don’t stop vaccinating and there are more and more cases,” he pointed out.

Klaus Schwab Welcomes European Chip Law to Advance ‘Physical Brain for Digitization’

The EU will unveil proposals early next month for new laws to boost its home-grown chip production, EU chief Ursula von der Leyen announced in an online speech to the virtual edition of the World Economic Forum. The law is actually a cover for a clique of corrupt globalists to take over total control.

Von der Leyen wants to claim a greater role for the EU in the worldwide production of microchips. The most advanced chips must be made on European soil, according to her. The legislation that should make all this possible is called the European Chips Act.

The act, which will be proposed in early February, aims to increase microchip production to reduce dependency on suppliers from outside Europe. “The European need for chips will double in the next decade,” von der Leyen explained. WEF boss Klaus Schwab is deeply involved in this endeavour. Schwab is one of 16 individuals who has been charged with serious human rights abuses and genocide in the ICC.

Deep digital transformation

The President of the European Commission spoke with Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum. He was particularly interested in the chip law, “because this is an important step towards creating the physical brain for digitization”.

Turns Out Schrödinger, The Father of Quantum Physics, Was a Pedophile

A recent investigation that resurfaced damning evidence that famed physicist Erwin Schrödinger was a pedophile is continuing to make waves in the academic community.

Schrödinger, widely cited as the father of quantum physics and perhaps best remembered for his 1935 thought experiment “Schrödinger’s Cat,” was widely revealed to be a pedophile by The Irish Times after the newspaper published a report detailing his record as a sexual predator and serial abuser.

It’s a stomach-churning revelation about a researcher whose work revolutionized the study of the natural world and even led directly to today’s international research frenzy into quantum computing — and which shows, once again, that even the powerful and brilliant can be monsters.

UK Gov Department Warns Online Safety Bill Fails to Protect Speech, Then Complains it Doesn’t Do Enough to Censor

The committee is one of several that have been tasked with reviewing and offering their opinion on the internet-regulating bill proposed by the government, before it can proceed to a vote.

Croatia to Withdraw Its Forces From NATO in Event of Russia-Ukraine Conflict

Croatia will withdraw its military from NATO forces deployed in the region in the event of a conflict between Russia and Ukraine, President Zoran Milanovic said on Tuesday.

“I follow reports, according to which NATO, not a separate state, not the United States, is strengthening its presence, sending reconnaissance vessels. We have nothing to do with this, and we will not have, I guarantee you this,” Milanovic told a national broadcaster, adding that Croatia will not send its military to the region.

“If there is an escalation, we will withdraw everyone to the last Croatian military. It has nothing to do with Ukraine or Russia, it has to do with the dynamics of the US’ domestic policy, [President] Joe Biden and his administration, whom I supported, the only one in Europe … but I see dangerous behavior in matters of international security,” he added.

“Danish Society Has Problems With Too Much Migration From the Middle East’ — Denmark’s Left-Wing Immigration Minister Defends Country’s Strict Asylum Policy

Danish Integration Minister Mattias Tesfaye, of the left-wing Social Democrats and the child of an Egyptian migrant himself, is defending the strict immigration policy of his country, and believes there are leftist reasons for doing so, including protecting workers and lower-class citizens from wage competition and integration problems. The minister made the remarks in an interview with the Neue Zürcher Zeitung.

Denmark’s policy on immigration is much discussed in the German media, mostly in a negative light, and the Swiss newspaper began the interview asking a question about German press coverage: “Maybe you don’t know it, but for many German-speaking media and left-wing politicians believe you are evil personified: a social democrat with a migration background who criticizes Islam and wants to force poorly integrated foreigners to do dirty jobs. How do you deal with being called a traitor and a racist by your own comrades?”

Famed French Intellectual Says Great Replacement is ‘Obvious’

While it is debatable whether the moniker “Great Replacement” should be used, the demographic changes in France are very real and “obvious,” philosopher Alain Finkielkraut said in a political talk show on TV channel Europe 1.

“This is in fact a fragmentation and yes, this risk does exists and in any case, I think the demographic change of Europe is extremely spectacular. The historical peoples in certain municipalities and regions are becoming a minority,” Finkielkraut said. “A whole part of French people now live not in the suburbs, but beyond the suburbs, because they are no longer the cultural reference they used to be, because all the butchers are, for example, Halal.”

The term “Great Replacement” was coined by French author Renaud Camus to describe the phenomenon that the indigenous French population is being gradually replaced by Ara, Berber, Turkish and Muslim populations.

Eric Clapton Says He Sees Mass Formation Psychosis ‘Everywhere’

Legendary rocker Eric Clapton appeared on the Real Music Observer YouTube channel last week, to discuss vaccination and mass formation psychosis, the theory made popular recently by Dr. Robert Malone.

In the interview, Clapton discusses how he himself took the vaccine, but now regrets it. Clapton says that he was tricked into getting the vaccine early on by subliminal messaging, and warned the public not to fall for the same tricks

Clapton then discusses mass formation psychosis, a form of mass hysteria, which is described as “a phenomenon that transmits collective illusions of threats, whether real or imaginary, through a population and society as a result of rumors and fear,” saying that he initially missed out on the memo for mass formation psychosis, saying that he later realized that there was a memo.

  1. A motorist passing saw a woman being stabbed. He drove at the assailant to stop him. He has been arrested (the impact killed the assailant).
A bicycling skateboarder saw a woman being stabbed and went to her rescue with his skateboard. He was stabbed to death. He was posthumously awarded a medal for bravery.
What would we do in an emergency?

  2. An example of history distortion.
Just watched the Russian version of the Euronews channel. The speech in the program was about Babi Yar.
The journalist compared the Nazis who shot Jews and Gypsies with Russian troops on the other side of the border.
(This is some kind of psychosis in the world media in connection with the “coming war” – I generally don’t see anything inside Russia and don’t even hear militaristic rhetoric)

Let’s get back to Euronews. The Nazis were helped by “some local residents” – so it is said in the program. Yes, there half of Ukraine rejoiced.
These are not Belarusians who resisted and lost 1/5 of the inhabitants.

My grandmother’s ancestors (Belarusians) saw the beginning of the war in Ukraine. Belarusians are well-known anti-Semites, but my grandmother could not remember without tears what the Germans did to the Jews.
The Germans gave my relatives Ausweisses and sent them to their historical homeland. I asked why. To which the grandmother said that in the village where they lived, they simply did not find a place. “This was my dad, and this one was mine, before the Soviets,” Ukrainians said.

And now Euronews is saying that in addition to Jews and Gypsies, “Ukrainian nationalists” were shot at Babi Yar. Well, yes, how. Because they shot these Jews.

    • It’s a tragic, and horrific story, Elena. Shostakovich’s Thirteenth Symphony, which is based on poems by Yevtushenko, begins with “Babi-Yar”; I have the recording of the premiere, conducted by Kondrashin in Moscow on 20th December 1962, but only issued on cd in 1993. Shortly after the concert, the same forces recorded it in the studio, but with an amended text incorporating a reference to the Soviets’ part in defeating fascism; this was issued in the UK by EMI in 1970, and I expect elsewhere.
