1 Dead: 4 People Wounded in Strawberry Mansion Shooting as Gun Violence Continues in Philly

Five people — including a 15-year-old boy — were shot Tuesday afternoon in the city’s Strawberry Mansion section, with one dying later in the day, police said.

Police received their first report of a shooting just before 4 p.m. in the vicinity of 30th and Cumberland Streets.

Responding officers found an 18-year-old man who had been shot twice in the head. Police rushed him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:51 p.m.

Police also transported a 24-year-old man to Temple with gunshot wounds to his right hand and left arm. His condition was not immediately available.

The 15-year-old boy was reported in serious condition at Temple with a gunshot wound to his right leg.

Police said two other men, ages 20 and 21, also had been shot and were at Temple. No further information was available on them.

The gunfire came after a series of separate shootings were reported throughout Philadelphia during the day, as gun violence continued in the city…

2024 Watch: Trump Enters 2022 as Clear Frontrunner for Next GOP Presidential Nomination

Former President Donald Trump begins the new year in the same political position he ended the old year — as hands down the most popular and influential politician in the GOP.

With just over 10 months to go until the starting gun in the next race for the White House, Trump remains the overwhelming front-runner in the hunt for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

The most recent public opinion numbers come from a Reuters/Ipsos national poll conducted in mid-December and released a couple of days ago. Fifty-four percent of Republicans questioned in the survey said they’d back the former president as their party’s standard-bearer in 2024.

Democrats Look to Primary Biden in 2024: ‘He’s Old as S***’

As President Joe Biden’s approval rating continues to stay low, progressives are beginning to eye potential primary candidates for the 2024 presidential election.

According to FiveThirtyEight, Biden’s approval rating currently stands at 43.3 percent as America faces inflation and a surge of COVID-19 cases.

Speaking with Politico, Jeff Weaver, former presidential campaign manager for Sen. Bernie Sanders, said: “Will there be a progressive challenger? Yes.”

[Comment: My prediction: I expect Biden to step down between the mid-terms and 2024. The Democratic primary for President in 2024 will be competitive and Kamala Harris will not be nominated.]

Greenwald: NBC News Uses Ex-FBI Official Frank Figliuzzi to Urge Assange’s Extradition, Hiding His Key Role

Authored by Glenn Greenwald via greenwald.substack.com

Two of the television outlets on which American liberals rely most for their news — NBC News and CNN — have spent the last six years hiring a virtual army of former CIA operatives, FBI officials, NSA spies, Pentagon chiefs, and DOJ prosecutors to work in their newsrooms. The multiple ways in which journalism is fundamentally corrupted by this spectacle are all vividly illustrated by a new article from NBC News that urges the prosecution and extradition of Julian Assange, claiming that the WikiLeaks founder, once on U.S. soil, will finally provide the long-elusive proof that Trump criminally conspired with Russia.

The NBC article is written by former FBI Assistant Director and current NBC News employee Frank Figliuzzi, who played a central role during the Obama years in the FBI’s attempt to investigate and criminalize Assange: a rather relevant fact concealed by NBC when publishing this. But this is how U.S. security state agents now directly control corporate news outlets.

Indiana Life Insurance CEO Says Deaths Are Up 40% Among People Ages 18-64

(The Center Square) — The head of Indianapolis-based insurance company OneAmerica said the death rate is up a stunning 40% from pre-pandemic levels among working-age people.

“We are seeing, right now, the highest death rates we have seen in the history of this business — not just at OneAmerica,” the company’s CEO Scott Davison said during an online news conference this week. “The data is consistent across every player in that business.”

OneAmerica is a $100 billion insurance company that has had its headquarters in Indianapolis since 1877. The company has approximately 2,400 employees and sells life insurance, including group life insurance to employers in the state.

Davison said the increase in deaths represents “huge, huge numbers,” and that’s it’s not elderly people who are dying, but “primarily working-age people 18 to 64” who are the employees of companies that have group life insurance plans through OneAmerica.

Leaving Illinois: Another Wealthy Chicago Entrepreneur Votes With His Feet

By Ted Dabrowski of Wirepoints

Illinois keeps losing people it can ill afford to lose.

I recently checked in on a prospective donor who I met in Chicago three years ago. I didn’t know him at all back then, but it was easy to get a sense he cared deeply about Illinois. His passion for fixing Chicago’s problems was obvious from the moment I met him.

He was everything Chicago should want from someone in the business community. An engaged and highly successful investor, tech entrepreneur and C-suite executive. Politically active yet still willing to get his hands dirty on real policy issues. Not scared to take on politicians. Paid lots in taxes, too.

Germany: Düsseldorf: Healthy Riot Squad Officer Suddenly Collapses and Dies

A 53-year-old police officer died on New Year’s Eve in Düsseldorf. He belonged to a unit of riot police from the Ruhr area. There has been no news on and no interest in his vaccination status.

“In the midst of the heavy workload at the turn of the year, the officers’ colleagues received the sad news from the hospital,” reported a police spokesman on request. They confirmed that he had not been assaulted or attacked and no outside force had been responsible for his sudden inexplicable death.

The cause of death is currently assumed to have been an “medical emergency”, the police said. “When he collapsed, he had not suffered from anything, but had been, as far as we know, healthy to be deployed,” said a spokesman.

Overall, the spokesman concluded that the police operation at the end of the year was more like a “normal weekend in the old town”. Fireworks were banned in the old town due to the Corona pandemic.

Hungarians, Czechs, Slovaks, And Poles Reject Federal Europe, Support Christian Values

Citizens of the Visegrad Group, consisting of Hungary, Czechia, Slovakia, and Poland are more likely to reject an expansion of EU power and remain more fervent supporters of traditional Christian values than those in the West, a 30-country study of the Hungarian Szazadvég think tank shows.

The research shows that the region’s citizens are more committed to retaining nation-state competencies than other countries, and only a small proportion of them would transfer more of them to the EU: 54 percent stand for a stronger nation-state, while only 30 percent want further centralization. On average, the same proportions are 48 and 36 percent in all countries surveyed.

All this is proof that the vision of an EU organized on a federal basis is less attractive to the V4 countries than to the old members. Another interesting fact is that of all the groups of countries covered by the research, the citizens of the V4 countries think that their countries face double-standards at the EU level.

Microtechnology in Pfizer’s Vaccine

La Quinta Columna has issued a new communiqué of special importance. This time, denouncing the presence of microtechnology in a Pfizer vial.

The observation of the objects detected in this vial to date has been carried out under optical microscopy throughout the most recent programs of the Spanish team.

Biostatistician Ricardo Delgado Martín has asked people all over the world to contact him to testify before a legal body about the content of the vaccine.

Orwell City brings the words of the founder of La Quinta Columna into English…

Ricardo Delgado: Hello. Very good evening to everyone. First of all, I wanted to wish everybody a happy new year. However, I’d like to share with you some chilling images.

Remember throughout this time, throughout this week, we’ve even done a live stream with what’s inside the Pfizer vaccine, and we’ve said that there’s graphene and some, let’s say artificial structures. But now I want you to see what we have on the screen. Precisely what’s seen under the microscope, and that, logically, has creeped me out.

We have to denounce this en masse. Everybody has to go out immediately to the streets and expose what the entire world population had been inoculated. All your neighbors, all your relatives have been jabbed with what you’ll see now. Circuitry. Microtechnology inside the body. I’m going to share with you, on the screen, what’s on the object holder.

This is one of the droplets that were discarded from last week. When the hydrogel has dried, it formed these images that we’re going to share. As I say, right now. Let’s see if it’s possible. Well. I think you’re seeing what I’m seeing on the screen, right? Let’s zoom in so you can see it. One moment, please. That’s it. Look at the object we found in the Pfizer vaccine…

  1. “Denmark to Make Domestic Flights Fossil Fuel Free by 2030”

…well, they do have a lot of wind over there, maybe some kind of kite pulled by a horse could do the trick?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Pocock_(inventor)

Although I am sure that they are thinking about powering the aircraft with some kind of Lithium batteries – you know – the kind that is guaranteed to catch fire on impact.

    • Looking at a map it appears the maximum extent of Denmark is about 150 miles. They have trains, correct? How many domestic flights are there? How many that do not go on to other countries?

Fossil free by 2030? I plant to go on a diet in 2023.

      • Danmark is small, but its completely flat, with many airports all over the place. They must be talking about small propeller planes, given the green deal hysteria, it probably means “all small planes”.

  2. Re: Denmark to make domestic flights fossil free by 2030.

Denmark’s a pretty small country. Why not hike the tax on fuel for domestic flights and use it to make the trains cheaper? Other short-haul flights too, and not only there, come to think of it.

(Which is not to enter into the debate over anthropogenic climate change, but for those governments which accept the agument in favour, it seems more logical and could be adopted immediately, with the tax, and the train subsidy, increasing gradually to allow time for the necessary adjustments to air and rail services.)

    • Typical socialist thinking, rob Peter to pay Paul and end up broke. What a bloody good strategy there Marky! There is no way in Hell these green so called policies are going to make things better, there will be energy poverty everywhere you go. I mean what a great idea where 6 months out of the year you need bloody heat. Great way to turn a former 1st world country into a 3rd world one.

  3. The other day I made a comment about the New Year’s rapist.
    =============
Instagram removed post about racist migrant rapist

Muscovite Pavel Molokanov published a post on Instagram with a story about how he saved a woman in Troitsk from being raped by an Asian man. According to Pavel, the migrant attacked a 38-year-old mother of two in a parking lot on the night of January 1, threw her to the ground and had already pulled off his pants.

In his post, the Muscovite called on those who can identify the rapist to respond – in order to bring him to criminal responsibility.

“I want to live in a city, a country without rapist migrants, for whom traffic on Gorodskaya is blocked every Friday. Who decided that they can do whatever they want with us here! ” – Readovka is quoted by Molokanov’s post.
A couple of days later, Instagram deleted the Muscovite’s post for “hostile statements or symbols”: “encouraging violence” and “swastikas or bandages of the White Power movement.” Judging by the surviving reposts, neither one nor the other was in Pave’s post.

    • Seems to me there will soon be vigilante committees dealing with the 3rd world scum. What exciting times we live in.

  4. Microcircuits in Pfizer’s Vaccine.
No thanks, I’ll remain a pure blood.
I don’t want my blood polluted with all the nanotech and micro circuitry, and other junk they stick in them.

  5. Basal wood planes powered by twisted rubber bands for the “common people” the elite still get their private jets flying one or two of them at a time to climate changing meeting at 5 star hotels.

  6. Denmark to Make Domestic Flights Fossil Fuel Free by 2030- Frankly suggest the Government of Denmark are certainly not thinking sensibly-cloud cookoo comes to mind-never will they or Europe be free from using Fosil Fules for many years yet. Where do they imagine the electricity is to come from? Other possible alternatives are years away from being considered useable.

  7. UK: Petition to Revoke Blair’s Knighthood Smashes 220,000 and Rising-Simply the honour given is incomprehensible considering his deep unpopularity. It is little noted that this man Blair went to one of the top private schools in Scotland (Fetes) and knowing that he would be unlikely to reach the top of the Conservative party transfered his allegiance to the British Labour Party. He became leader of that party and extraordinarily Prime Minister of the United Kingdom-but when the going got hot he promptly left the post to galavant around the Middle East and elsewhere, making a fortune for himself-apart from a his Prime Minister’s life pension he also receives as a past Prime Minister the allowance of a Private Detective paid for by the British Tax payer. This man is not one that should be honoured, it makes a mockery of the ancient custom, which as it happens I would prefer to see disbanded.

  8. Baron,
I hope you are well. I noticed no new comments or updates the last few days. No new comments were listed under the articles but some comments seem to have come through as late as today but below the article it lists none. I have had an uneasy feeling.
