Teach Those Anti-Vaxers a Lesson!

A Green politicienne in Germany is opposed to the use of pepper spray and other extreme measures against protesters, EXCEPT when those protesters are demonstrating against “vaccine” mandates.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from PolitikStube:

Shame on you! Green politician “in case of doubt” for the use of pepper spray and baton

Sits in the Bundestag at the expense of the taxpayer and apparently has no problem with calling for violence: Saskia Weishaupt, a member of the Bundestag for the Green Party, is in favor of the police being allowed to use violence in “Querdenker” protests. Blaring against Lukashenko’s behaviour at the demos in Belarus, but cracking down on those who think differently and critics of the vaccination obligation in Germany. Actually, she should resign from the Bundestag immediately because of her perverse testimony. The country does not need such “fascists”.

Welt.de:

Saskia Weishaupt, Member of the Green Party, welcomed the use of pepper spray and batons after clashes between demonstrators and police officers at a Corona protest in Munich.

“The tactic of the Querdenker is to fight their way bit by bit along the road,” she wrote on Wednesday evening on Twitter. The police must act “and use pepper spray and batons in case of doubt. We can’t leave a millimeter to them!”

Weishaupt was state spokeswoman for the Green Youth in Bavaria for several years. In September of last year, she shared a tweet from the Green Youth in which the youth organization repeated its call for a ban on pepper spray and dogs at demos.

Afterword from the translator:

I had to tweak her German language “skill” quite a bit to make sense of it. How someone like her can manage to get into the Bundestag with a rudimentary skill in spelling and grammar of the German language is a mystery to me. But at the same time, it tells me all I need to know about those that want to rule over each and every aspects of our lives.

It’s always the same type of people who are attracted to power over others it seems. Under- or over-educated, and not fit to survive in a truly free world. Where is Darwin now?

Germany’s Brain Drain

Almost a million skilled workers leave Germany every year. Yet the population of the country is increasing, thanks to mass immigration. How many of the New Germans are “skilled”, in any meaningful sense of the word?

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Epoch Times:

Crisis on the job market — up to 900,000 skilled workers leave the country every year

The Federal Employment Agency warns of an unprecedented labor shortage in Germany due to demographic change. “There will be a clear cut in the labor market,” said BA board member Daniel Terzenbach to Zeit-Online. Up to 900,000 skilled workers could be leaving Germany every year.

In addition to Germans, there are many foreigners among them who Germany cannot hold onto because their home countries such as Poland, Bulgaria or Romania are also organizing targeted repatriation campaigns. In future, the gaps in the labor market can only be filled through immigration. “We need a targeted immigration policy,” said Terzenbach. “That is why we have to search all over the world.”

Germany is entering into real competition with China, Japan and the Anglo-Saxon countries, which have decades of experience with controlled immigration. In order to keep up, Terzenbach calls for a social change. “We need a real welcoming culture in Germany, otherwise we will lose this competition,” said the BA board. “A culture of acceptance like the one we currently have will no longer be enough to keep people in the future.”

There must be a real will in society as a whole that foreigners are welcome, “because only that contributes to the prosperity of all.” The coming months may be difficult because the corona pandemic continues to shape what is happening on the labor market. “Corona has driven a wedge into the labor market. On the one hand, there is a lack of skilled workers, for example in nursing or IT, on the other hand, a million people have been without a job for more than a year,” said Terzenbach.

It will not be possible to qualify everyone in such a way that they can easily find work again. “That is the bitter truth. We will always have a certain base of people who will not be able to keep up with the high speed of a digital society and ever-higher demands on all professions in the future.” Terzenbach therefore considers a social labor market for the long-term unemployed to be justified.

Afterword from the translator:

I wonder why most skilled workers avoid the colorful Republic with its incredibly high taxes and duties, bureaucracy and maneuvering? And those who arrive in Germany are anything but “skilled workers”. However, further immigration can also be justified with the flexible term “skilled workers”.

The simple truth is that those who are qualified or have money emigrate, and those who are not very qualified — except in cultural enrichment — and have no money… immigrate.

I wonder when that pitcher breaks?

A New Zeal for Repression

The new totalitarianism that has descended over the Western world in the last two years varies in its intensity and emphases. New Zealand has one of the most repressive Corona regimes, right up there with Australia, Germany, Austria, Greece, and Canada.

Even though New Zealand has almost no COVID cases, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has imposed a draconian and finely-tuned lockdown on the populace. The government is vigorously pushing citizens to get vaxed. Ms. Ardern has stated in no uncertain terms that the populace will from now on be divided into two classes, the “vaccinated” and the “unvaccinated”, with the unvaxed having a more restricted set of rights and privileges. The prime minister’s approach makes sense, given that she was groomed by Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum as part of the “Young Global Leaders” group (as previously reported here and here).

The following account comes from an unvaxed young man named Scott. As a pureblood in max-vaxed New Zealand, he is now feeling the chilly winds of repression on a daily basis.

This report concerns his experience with the country’s healthcare system. The medical establishment Scott visits is a medium-sized clinic with mostly female doctors, which has segregated its clientele and relegated him to the back of the bus — or rather, the back of the ambulance bay:

One incident, the most recent and certainly a pretty indicative event, sums up the situation well. Something fairly innocuous yet foreboding.

Sitting there in the ambulance bay out back waiting for my medical appointment — yes, that’s right, in the ambulance bay — I wasn’t terribly bothered. I’d made an appointment earlier in the week and was told over the phone that because I was unvaccinated, my doctor would see me out the back. Oh, OK, I said, thinking some sterile room at the back of the building. But no, it was actually outside at the back. Segregated, I guess. But still… OK, I said.

Still not really bothered. Not until I was there in the bay, in my designated spot, and had spent some time, no idea how long, maybe fifteen minutes or so. Well, I began to think how this could make some people feel. And also wondered if this was really for reasons of health, or was it psychological and done to deliberately exclude and probably humiliate and degrade people? Wear them down.

Jacinda certainly had said there will be two classes of people going forward, vaccinated and unvaccinated. So to degrade certainly fits in with her own words. It made me think further, though. How far will this go? How far can it go?

And although it really didn’t bother me much at all, should I let on to that fact? Or do I faux-scream out that this entire situation hurts too much?

I don’t know. I just don’t know.

If someone being tied up and tortured for information feels that the pain he’s feeling is actually really light and quite tolerable, and not near the breaking point, what should he do? If the torturer realizes it, then obviously the pain will be turned up several notches. So, quick — cry, scream and act as though you simply cannot endure any more of this, it’s so excruciating. And he thinks, any information the victim had would surely have been revealed. No? When actually it’s not much bother personally to this individual at the moment.

And the Glory of the Lord Shall Be Revealed

Merry Christmas, everyone!

The photo above was taken here at Schloss Bodissey, but not today. That was Christmas of 2009, possibly our most recent white Christmas. Today it’s very mild, almost like spring.

For your listening enjoyment, here is an excerpt from The Messiah by George Frideric Handel. Sir Colin Davis is conducting the London Symphony Orchestra, and Mark Padmore is the soloist, if I’m not mistaken.

The libretto is based on Isaiah 40:

4   Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
5   And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

The future Baron is here. He is the designated cook, now that his mother is gone, and will be preparing a nice London broil for our Christmas dinner.

Posting for the rest of the day will be light, possibly just the news feed.

I’m thankful that I live here in the Outer Boondocks, far from the full Coronamadness that people in most large cities have to endure this Yuletide.

For example, the governor of New York has just signed a new law that will make the forgery of a “vaccination” card punishable by up to a year in prison. Which I suppose will eventually lead to scenarios like this one:

But let’s not think about that right now — we’ll just enjoy the celebration of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.

And it’s OK if your Christmas is white.

Allahu Akhbar! Vehicular Jihad in Marseille

It seems that driving a vehicle into pedestrians has become a new Christmas tradition in the last few years. The custom in Europe is to target shoppers in Christmas markets, while Christmas parades are the favored venue in the USA.

The incident in Marseille described below is unusual in two respects: the driver who was targeting pedestrians and other vehicles was a woman, and she embarked on her Christmas revel on the open road.

Oh, and she’s mentally ill. What a surprise!

Many thanks to Gary Fouse for translating this article from Le Figaro:

Marseille: Woman tries to crash into several vehicles, then shouts “Allahu Akhbar” during her arrest

by Guillaume Poingt
December 24, 2021

The suspect, 34, was stopped by police with a copy of Koran in her hand. There were no injuries.

A 34-year-old woman, Asma B., was arrested Wednesday, 22 December around 14:30 after trying to deliberately collide with several vehicles on a pass in the Calanques massif, in the 9th district of Marseille, Le Figaro learned from a source close to the case.

Known to police (for destruction of private property) but unknown to national intelligence, the suspect — veiled — shouted, “Allahu Akhbar” several times during her arrest. Holding a Koran in her hand, she bragged of having “acted well” but also of being “in contact with terrorists”.

“If he approaches, you squash him!”

A few minutes before her arrest, several drivers called police to report the presence of this woman praying at the side of the road, close to a vehicle parked dangerously at the Gineste pass, a winding road connecting Marseille and Cassis.

Just after this prayer, the 30-something took the wheel of her vehicle then tried to deliberately crash into other drivers. Thinking that the woman driver wanted to kill herself, an individual got out of his car to try and establish a dialogue with her. But on approaching, he noticed that she was in a telephone conversation on speaker with a man who ordered her: “If he approaches, you squash him!”. The woman driver then attempted to crash into the pedestrian, missing him.

Taken into custody, Asma B. was brought to the emergency room after feeling ill. She was then hospitalized in the psychiatric ward. Formerly residing in Limoges, the subject had previously spent time in a psychiatric hospital in March 2019 due to a “delirious and paranoid” state. Investigations continue.

What Corona Crisis? Close the Hospitals!

While the Omicron variant is raging through Europe, the German government is… closing hospitals. Well, that should help generate the needed scare headlines about the “shortage of hospital beds due to Corona”.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from the German-language service of RT:

Corona crisis? — In Germany 34 hospitals will be closed

In the middle of the Corona crisis, 34 hospitals in Germany are being closed. This emerges from the final report of the RWI Institute for Economic Research. It concerns both complete closings and conversion projects.

With the money from the first hospital structure fund (KHSF), 34 hospitals and hospital locations have been or will be closed in the near future. This includes both complete closings, in which a location completely falls out of the supply network, as well as concentration projects and conversions. The Ärzteblatt reported on it earlier.

In addition, 36 departments were closed at a further 24 locations, almost half of which were gynecological or obstetrical facilities. This emerges from the final report of the RWI Institute for Economic Research. The RWI presented the report on the structural change brought about by the Hospital Structure Fund on July 19, 2021.

With the first hospital structure fund for 2016 to 2018, the federal government provided the federal states with funds of up to €500 million, with which the federal states can promote the reduction of so-called “overcapacities”, as well as the so-called concentration of inpatient care offers and of non-acute inpatient local care facilities. However, this would only be possible provided that the states raise the same amount as the federal government and do not reduce their investment subsidies.

According to the report, fewer hospitals tended to be closed in federal states with a high “hospital density” than in those with a low hospital density. In states with a high “bed density”, on the other hand, more beds had tended to be reduced, but the relationship in this case was not statistically significant. A total of 62 percent of the funding applications for such measures were approved and 96 percent of the funds intended for them were called up. 91 percent of the funding went to projects to concentrate inpatient care offers, which also include pure closings and conversions. As part of the funded projects, 3,099 beds have now been reduced across Germany. According to the report, non-profit hospitals were particularly affected by the funding projects. In the report, the federal government comes to the conclusion:

“The final report of the accompanying evaluation of the RWI (Leibniz Institute for Economic Research) makes it clear that the legislative purpose pursued with the KHSF, to improve the supply structures by means of concentration effects and the reduction of reserve expenses, has been achieved in principle.”

One of the most questionable decisions affected by these hospital closings this year is the closure of the lung specialist clinic at the research center Borstel near Hamburg, which will be finally closed at the end of the year. The closure took place for “economic reasons”. The board of trustees justified its decision in the summer with “considerable economic losses” and because talks with potential operators were unsuccessful. The future of the 80-bed clinic, in which 2,800 inpatients and 4,500 outpatients were treated every year, had been discussed since the summer. In addition to the proximity of larger clinics in cities such as Hamburg, the main problem was allegedly primarily economic: the need for staff increasingly had to be covered by freelancers, which led to high placement costs.

A follow-up from the translator:

Tweet from Karl Lauterbach, German Minister of Unhealth: “Everyone knows that we should close at least every third, actually every second, clinic in Germany. Then we would have enough staff for other clinics, lower costs, better quality, and not so much superfluity. Countries and cities are blocking.”

The UN Pays Protection Money to the Taliban

I’ll bet the citizens of Belgium are shocked — shocked! — to learn that the UN is funneling some of the money sent to them to the Taliban.

Many thanks to Gary Fouse for translating this article from the Vlaams Belang website:

Belgian money goes through UN to the Taliban

December 23, 2021

The United Nations is making $6 million (€5.3 million) available for the Afghan Muslim extremists of the Taliban for “protection of UN personnel”. The money serves as salary for the Taliban extremists from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who guard the UN facilities in the country.

The head of the Afghan Ministry of Internal Affairs is Sirajuddin Haqqani, the second-ranking leader of the Taliban and the leader of the so-called Haqqani Network, which during the war carried out several bloody attacks in the country.

“Every year, several million euros in tax money flows from Belgium to the UN, and so this country is indirectly a co-financier of the Taliban in Afghanistan,” says Vlaams Belang Member of Parliament Ellen Samyn. And naturally, for Vlaams Belang, that is not acceptable. Samyn will also question the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sophie Wilmes (MR [Mouvement Réformateur, Reformist Movement]). “I will demand that not one euro cent of tax money flow to the Taliban, and that Belgium bang on the table at the UN to strongly condemn this unauthorized cooperation and support for the Muslim extremists of the Taliban.”

The FDP Protests the Mandatory Vax, Sort Of

It’s hard to classify Germany’s FDP (Freie Demokratische Partei, Free Democratic Party). It’s somewhat more free-market oriented and less totalitarian then all the other parties except for the AfD, but it’s hardly conservative by American standards. That fact is highlighted by the report below, in which some members of the FDP — which is part of the new governing coalition — state their opposition to the proposed federal “vaccine” mandate. It’s a weak dishwater sort of opposition, however — saying, in effect, “We need to put out lots of propaganda information pushing citizens to get vaxed, and vax people in hardware stores, sports clubs, etc.”

If this is the best Germany can do to resist the jab mandate, I don’t think there’s much doubt that the entire population will be eventually forced to get “vaccinated”.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from the German-language service of RT:

There is rumor in the FDP about compulsory vaccination

One week after the start of the “traffic light” [Red=Socialists, Yellow=FDP, Greens] coalition of the federal government, there is already rumbling. More than twenty members of the FDP parliamentary group still seem to remember liberal promises made before the election and reject the introduction of a general vaccination requirement in a motion.

Just one week after the formation of the “traffic light” coalition for a new federal government, the three governing parties are now facing a dispute on the central domestic issue, the Corona crisis, after initial disagreements in foreign policy. More than twenty deputies of the FDP oppose the introduction of a general compulsory vaccination, as the Berliner Zeitung reported, citing dpa.

In their application, the FDP MPs demand that the German Bundestag must affirm “that there will be no general compulsory vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 in the Federal Republic of Germany”. However, the liberals combine their demand “with the appeal that as many people as possible continue to protect themselves against COVID-19 in the best possible way by taking advantage of the recommended offers of a Corona vaccination”.

Celebrity support

The FDP Bundestag Vice President Wolfgang Kubicki, who is likely to be one of the most prominent supporters of the proposal, is also a co-signer of the draft. However, Kubicki himself voted last week in favor of compulsory vaccination in the health service and in the nursing professions.

However, the federal government is now being called upon to “intensify efforts below the encroachment on fundamental rights of mandatory vaccination or so-called 2G measures.” The MPs obviously assume that there is still a need for information in society and propose “multilingual awareness-raising and advertising spots” as well as “a broad campaign for vaccination, supported by relevant social actors such as churches, Muslim associations, trade unions and sports clubs”.
