Florida Job Growth Expected to Outpace Nation in 2022

Unemployment should continue to fall, housing market continue to rise.

Job growth in Florida will outpace the national economy, and unemployment will continue to decline in 2022, according to a new economic forecast for the Sunshine State.

Florida’s unemployment rate, which stood at 4.5% in November, is expected to continue falling in 2022, and housing starts will pickup, but not quickly enough to satisfy robust demand in the short run, according to the forecast released earlier this month by the Institute for Economic Forecasting at the University of Central Florida.

Denver Lakewood Shooting Spree: What Do We Know About the Gunman’s Victims?

At least five people were killed and three injured Monday in multiple shootings across Denver and Lakewood, Colorado. The attacker is among those killed, authorities said. Among the injured is a Lakewood police officer. His health status and the identity of the other victims are unknown. At the time of this publication, the name of one of the victims has been identified.

“We have every reason to believe that several incidents in Denver were related, which occurred prior to our Lakewood incidents,” Lakewood Police spokesman John Romero tweeted Monday night.

Authorities believe the suspect was responsible for four shootings in the city of Denver and then fled to Lakewood, where he was killed in a confrontation with police near a Hyatt hotel.

Two people were killed and one more was shot and wounded after the suspect shot them at a Denver intersection. Then there were two other shootings in the city in which a third person was killed. When police intercepted the man, a fourth shooting broke out in Denver in which the suspect managed to flee to Lakewood without causing more injuries or deaths.

There, another shooting occurred at 1500 Kipling Avenue, where another person died around 6:00 pm. Lakewood agents found the suspect’s vehicle near the Belmar Mall and tried to stop him. Then another shootout broke out. The suspect managed to flee again, but this time he was on foot and went to various establishments in the area, where he threatened people with a gun…

Denver, Lakewood Police Give Update on Fatal Shooting Spree; Suspect Was on Police’s Radar

DENVER (KRDO) — Following a violent shooting spree that started in the Denver area Monday evening, police are giving an update on the case Tuesday.

On Tuesday, the suspect was identified as 47-year-old Lyndon James McLeod. Police said McLeod knew some of the victims and also had a previous issue at the hotel where he shot a clerk.

The shooting spree started around 5 p.m. with the suspect shooting three people near E. 1st Avenue and N. Broadway in Denver — two women were killed, and a man was shot, according to police.

Later, police say the suspect shot and killed a man at E. 12th Street near N. Williams.

Following a third shooting at West 6th Avenue and Cherokee Street where no one was injured, officers exchanged gunfire with the suspect at West 8th Avenue and Zuni Street at the end of a pursuit, but he was able to escape. Police say the suspect drove to Lakewood after that and fatally shot the fourth victim at a business on Kipling Street.

Officers followed the suspect to a hotel, where he allegedly shot a clerk. A shootout happened, and the suspect died at the scene. One Lakewood Police officer was injured but is expected to survive.

A total of five people were killed by McLeod before he died, according to police. The fifth victim died on Tuesday.

Police said that two investigations had been conducted into McLeod’s actions before the shooting, but no charges were ever filed from those investigations..

Instagram and Facebook Block Quote From Thomas Paine for “False Information”

What if social media existed in the Dark Ages? Users posting a quote by an Enlightenment era figure, and getting censored for it, might have just gotten some idea of what that would be like.

Facebook’s “dumb algorithms” are most likely (or at least, hopefully) behind the decision to “fact check” and censor none other than a quote by Thomas Paine, an 18th century Anglo-American figure whose work was instrumental in inspiring the declaration of independence of the United States.

Even in the current climate of out of control online censorship, it would be a bitter pill to swallow if it turned out there was a human behind this particular decision.

Lyndon McLeod a.k.a. Roman McClay: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Lyndon James McLeod was named by police as the active shooter who went on a rampage throughout Denver and Lakewood, Colorado, leaving a trail of five deceased victims and a wounded police officer.

McLeod, 47, also died in the killing spree, during which he targeted people at two tattoo parlors, a personal residence, and a hotel across two communities. McLeod also went by the pen name Roman McClay, publishing a series of books called “Sanction” that involved a billionaire rewriting the DNA of violent people, including serial killers.

“It does appear that the offender was targeting specific people in this case,” Denver Police commander Matt Clark said in a news conference. “The victims were known to the offender.”

ABC reported, through sources, that McLeod, who once owned a Denver tattoo parlor himself, “harbored extremist views and had a history of psychiatric episodes.”

Journalist Kyle Clark wrote on Twitter, “The shooting spree suspect’s business, Flat Black Ink Corp, published a novel in which a man, also named Lyndon, shoots and kills people at a tattoo shop on 6th Avenue.” The business was delinquent.

He appeared obsessed with genetics on social media as well, writing, “Moar journalism: Americans don’t understand their own history. Northern yankee fux are genetically different from southern rednecks. We are nothing alike.” He engaged in threats against another author that landed him a visit from the FBI.

World’s Largest ‘No Vax-Pass’ Christmas Party at Calgary City Hall

The vast majority of restaurants in Calgary bent the knee when it comes to vaccine passports, which has left many excluded from sitting down for a coffee or a nice meal in an establishment for months on end. While not being able to attend a favourite food spot or café may not in itself seem like the end of the world, it is just one example of an ever-growing list of ways that people are being excluded and segregated from participating in society.

Exclusion and isolation should not be sentiments we associate with Christmas, this should be a time of love and togetherness. Even if the inn is full, business owners should be able to find a spot in the manger for wary visitors. Everyone should feel welcome.

On Boxing Day, in reply to the Scrooge-like exclusion of those unwilling to participate in the discriminatory vaccine passport system, Pastor Artur invited folks to head down to Calgary City Hall where he would be serving AAA steaks for free to all. There would also be carolling, presents and good company with no segregation or exclusion.

A Law to Protect ‘Mental Privacy’?

Spain will follow the path of Chile and will regulate by law neurotechnologies that seek to cognitively extend the human being, such as those proposed by Elon Musk.

Chile is already finalizing the legislation that will regulate neurotechnologies, stating that to acquire these devices, in many cases, a prescription will be required. Spain will follow in its footsteps with a Charter of Digital Rights that regulates devices not intended to heal brain diseases, but to expand human cognition.

Business Insider reported on the BRAIN Initiative, a project that the Obama Administration launched in 2013 with the ambition of mapping the entire brain with funding amounting to $4.5 billion over 15 years. Its purpose is similar to the Human Genome Project that culminated in 2003.

The private sector has been betting on neurotechnology, especially with Neuralink, Elon Musk’s company, which plans to implant chips in human brains from 2022.

Petition: Say NO to Vaccine Passports in the United Kingdom

On 14 December 2021, Westminster politicians voted through one of the most discriminatory pieces of mandatory legislation to date: vaccine passports.

I’ve been covering the anti-lockdown protests and gatherings for several months now, and the message has never been more clear: the government’s reaction to COVID-19 has devastated countless people and businesses.

And now, discriminatory measures have been put in place to ban certain people from being included in social activities despite the government having no scientific data to back this decision up.

We can’t take this lying down. We must fight back.

If you agree that vaccine passports are discriminatory and not at all rooted in science, please sign our petition.

If we meet our signature goal, I will personally deliver this petition to Parliament.

Let’s end vaccine passports in the United Kingdom.

The government of the Australian state of Victoria not only decided to deliberately keep citizens in the dark about court rulings exposing the fact the privacy of their data collected by contact tracing apps can be compromised — but is now doubling down.

And the way the state’s Acting Premier Jacinta Allan, who has currently taken over while Premier Dan Andrews is being investigated for “concealing treason and fraud,” chose to defend the failure to inform people about matters pertaining to sensitive private information about them was to say the government was — shielding them from misinformation.

  1. “Mr. McLeod is said to have been an extremist and a white supremacist with a history of mental problems.”

The word construct “is said to have been…” is the MSM’s go-to explanation for anything apparently not worth the time and effort for the media actually to investigate.

  2. Italy will became Africa very soon , where is Salvini ? And Melone to protect the country, anyway it’s too late
