3 Teens Killed in Sunday-Night Shooting at Garland Gas Station, Police Say

A motive and details of what led to the shooting are still being determined, investigators said.

Three teens are dead after a shooting inside a gas station in Garland on Sunday evening, police said.

Officers responded to a shooting call about 7:30 p.m. at a Texaco in the 700 block of West Walnut Street, near downtown Garland.

Police said that surveillance footage showed the gunman get out of a white Dodge pickup, open the doors of the store and fire a gun, striking the victims. The gunman then got in the passenger side of the truck and left, police said.

Police said the shooter was a man wearing a baseball cap, blue surgical mask and dark-colored athletic shorts. He was not wearing a shirt, police said…

India: Hindu Seers and Saints Gave a Call of United War Against Jihad

Open calls for genocide and use of weapons against Muslim Terrorists made at Dharma Sansad organised by Yati Narasimhanand; clamour for police action grows out of misinterpretations.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | Haridwar | Dec 27, 2021:: Controversial calls for annihilation of Islamic terrorism and use of weapons against Muslim terrorists were made at a religious event in Haridwar in Uttarakhand last week. The organizers of the event urged a broad spectrum Hindu unity for the cause.

As recordings of the speeches at the conclave made their way to social media, scores of people demanded action against the speakers, who have flaunted their links with the BJP and have said they stand by their ‘hate speeches’, reported in some electronic media. Many of the selective secular media India coloured the conclave as ‘anti-Muslim’ and a ‘call of genocide of Muslim’ in a blatant lie. But, most of the nationalist people in India pledged their support initiatives by Hindu saints and seers to curb the growing Islamic fundamentalism in India.

While the event was held between December 17 and 19, no FIR had been registered against the alleged ‘hate speeches’ till Thursday evening. If one of the speakers invoked Godse, another said he felt like pumping six bullets into former prime minister Manmohan Singh at one point in time. The office of Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar reportedly said he had directed Haridwar DIG/SSP Yogendra Singh Rawat to take cognizance of the videos regarding the event and take action “in case a complaint is filed”.

The conclave or Dharma Sansad was organised by Yati Narasimhanand Saraswati, a religious leader who has been threatened and attacked by Islamic goons in the past for his uncompromising version against Islamic Jihad. According to a police complaint filed by a RTI activist Saket Gokhale, others associated with the gathering are Hindu Raksha Sena’s Prabodhanand Giri, BJP women’s wing leader Udita Tyagi and BJP leader Ashwini Upadhyay, who is out on bail in hate speech case. “Like Myanmar, our police, our politicians, our Army and every Hindu must pick up weapons and conduct a Desh Virodi Safayi Abhiyan [clean-up the anti nationals]. There is no other option left,” Giri can be heard in a video. Giri has said he stands by his statement in the interest of vulnerable majority Hindus in India under the threat of Islamic Jihad and havoc increase of Muslim population.

The next such conclaves against the Islamic Jihad are about to take place with one in Kurukshetra in Haryana, and two others in Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh and Ghaziabad to discuss the topic “Shastra meva jayate (warrior power alone triumphs)”.

700 Illegal Migrants Arrive in Italian Port of Crotone in 24 Hours

Almost 700 illegal migrants arrived over the weekend to the Calabrian port of Crotone in southern Italy, local media reports.

The first group of 90 people arrived at dawn on Sunday on a sailing ship intercepted by a vessel by the Italian Coast Guard off the coast of the Calabria region in southwestern Italy.

The second group of 400 arrived late in the morning on a Russian-flagged merchant ship that took the migrants on board off the coast of Crotone. Their landing proved to be a difficult task, given that the ship, due to its size, was unable to enter the port. The migrants were eventually transported by the Italian Coast Guard in groups of 90.

There were many Afghan and Syrian citizens with unaccompanied minors among them. Several children arrived with their mothers, and there were also pregnant women, one of whom was taken to a local hospital.

With the two new groups, the number of illegal immigrants arriving in Crotone in the last 24 hours has risen to 700.

EU Rejects Calls to Fund Border Defense

In December, Greece renewed its demands towards the European Commission to help with the financing of their rapidly extending land wall on the borders with Turkey. As Takis Theodorikakos, a public order minister, had explained during a parliamentary session, there are a number of countries willing to use migrants to exert political pressure on EU member state, pointing at Belarus, which has recently sent thousands of Middle Eastern migrants towards their regional rivals, Poland included.

“We have every reason to expect that these kinds of threats will continue,” confirmed the Greek minister.

More than 11,000 illegal migrants have entered Germany this year after transiting through Poland from Belarus, German police said on December 27.

The EU accuses Belarusian strongman Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s regime of funneling mostly Middle Eastern migrants to the borders of Poland and fellow EU members Latvia and Lithuania as part of a “hybrid attack” to retaliate for Western sanctions.

Most of the illegal migrants are seeking to reach Germany, which has stepped up police checks along the passport-free border with Poland in recent months.

Tumblr Introduces New Censorship Techniques on iPhone

Tumblr, once a social media powerhouse, is apparently not done with its censorship war started some years ago, that many think, along with other less than prudent decisions, contributed to its slow downfall.

The current controversy is discussed on Twitter by iOS app users, who have been noticing that a more strict tag filter is allegedly now being used — unofficially, since those noticing the change have been discovering what’s on that blacklist themselves.

  1. The article about the ‘Delta Karen’ said this:

“The FAA has received more than 5,000 complaints about unruly passengers so far this year… five times more than in 2020…

Through November 1, there had been 5,033 reports of unruly passenger incidents, including 3,642 related to pandemic face covering regulations.”

This seems to collaborate the Pew Study on mental health that found that over half of white liberal women in the U.S. have mental health issues, and over 56% of liberal white women 18-29 have been given a mental health diagnosis, more than double that of conservative white women that age, which still had a frighteningly high 27% diagnosis rate. Society is messed up.

    • And of course Jazz, there were less flights n 2021 than 2020.

How do blokes get married over there. Most women look like they won first prize at the local cattle show. Given that they are also mentally challenged it must be a real crapshoot finding a chick that doesn’t cost you a fortune in terms of food or psychiatry bills!

The skinny ones almost always appear to be complete loons.

Ukraine. A huge banner with Bandera was hung on the building of the Ternopil regional council (this is the one who staged the Volyn massacre for the Poles)

This was done to attract the attention of the population to the 113th anniversary of the birth of Bandera. Also in memory of Bandera on January 1, they intend to hold a torchlight procession in Ternopil.

In Ukraine, a decision was made to celebrate at the state level the 80th anniversary of the creation of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA, recognized as an extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation). The corresponding resolution was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the press service of the parliament said.

In 2022, the 80th anniversary of the foundation of the organization will be celebrated with solemn events across the country. Recall that the UPA (recognized as an extremist organization and banned) was created in October 1942 by Ukrainian nationalists, operated against Soviet troops in Western Ukraine, collaborating with the Nazis.
