Britain’s Inflation Rate Hits Decade High of 4.2%

Britain’s inflation rate jumped to 4.2 per cent in annual terms in October — more than double the Bank of England’s target and the highest level seen in a decade.

Inflation has risen sharply since the economy fully reopened, driven by surging consumer demand and supply chain glitches, the Office for National Statistics said, with the October rise a steep increase from the 3.1 per cent of the previous month.

BRUSSELS (Reuters) — Euro zone inflation surged to more than twice the European Central Bank’s target in October, the European Union’s statistics office Eurostat confirmed on Wednesday, with more than half of the jump due to a spike in energy prices.

Germany: Inflation Reaches 28-Year High Amid Surge in Energy Prices

The annual inflation rate accelerated for the fourth month in a row, hitting 4.5% in October. The record level of price hikes comes as energy prices soar across Europe.

Last month, consumer prices in Germany rose at their fastest pace since 1993, according to official data released on Thursday.

What’s behind the rise in consumer prices?

The annual inflation rate continued to soar for the fourth month in a row, rising to 4.5% in October, with energy prices shooting up 18.6%, estimates from the German federal statistics agency Destatis showed. It is the energy price hike that has been cited by experts as the main reason behind the overall increase in consumer prices.

In September, prices had risen in Germany by 4.1% year on year.

Justinflation: Prices Rise Again Under Trudeau, Highest Recorded Since 2003

Statistics Canada has said that although prices are increasing everywhere, transportation is becoming particularly expensive. The price of gasoline is said to be a major factor behind this.

France: For One Woman, Yellow Vests Protests Left a Legacy of Pain

With her rainbow-coloured peace flag and mild disposition, Genevieve Legay posed no obvious threat to public order when she joined an anti-government rally by the Yellow Vests in the resort city of Nice.

But what happened next, one Saturday in March 2019, made her an unlikely symbol of that French rebellion and resistance to the government and police response.

Although the details remain in dispute, Ms Legay fell during a police charge.

She believes she was struck from behind with a police baton but the officer said to have caused her to fall says this is untrue, and that he took part in a legitimate charge at a banned demonstration on a superior’s orders.

Ms Legay suffered five fractures of the skull and one of the coccyx. She has been left with no sense of smell and a limited sense of taste, and existing problems with her hearing and sight have worsened.

Those conditions have re-emerged in recent weeks and the presidency is anxious to avert a new mass revolt before the French president’s potentially tough campaign for re-election starts next spring.

Mr Macron has moved swiftly to nip new protests in the bud, pledging a €100 ($113) sweetener for six million people in lower income groups to offset the rising cost of petrol.

Germany Preparing to Impose Austria-Style Lockdown on the Unvaccinated

Germany is preparing to follow the example of Austria by imposing new lockdown measures that will exclusively apply to the unvaccinated.

As we highlighted yesterday, Austrian authorities are enforcing the new measures by having police patrol supermarkets and highways, stopping people and checking their vaccination status.

Similar scenes could now be about to unfold in neighboring Germany.

The Guardian reports that the COVID situation in the country is worse now than it was before the vaccine was introduced.

Gibraltar Cancels Christmas Despite Entire Population Being Vaccinated

Gibraltar has cancelled official Christmas events and urged people to avoid gatherings to combat an “exponential” spike in COVID cases despite its entire adult population being fully vaccinated.

Known as “the most vaccinated place on earth,” technically more than 118 per cent of the British Overseas territory’s population is fully vaxxed because Spaniards also enter the country to work every day.

That has done little to prevent what the health minister called “a drastic increase in the numbers of people testing positive for Covid-19 in recent days.”

Ireland: €110,000 of Public Money Was Secretly Used to “Combat Health Misinformation”

The “misinformation” fact-checking and identifying industry is thriving, along with censorship around a host of global and heavily politicized hot-button topics — whether or not on the face of it, those have to do with health or social crises.

And what that censorship and the businesses it has spawned have in common is their lack of transparency.

Italian Governors Call for Unvaccinated to be Put Under Lockdown

Five Italian Governors have called for lockdown measures to be imposed on the unvaccinated, following the example of Austria, while Czech Republic and Slovakia are also moving to enforce similar measures.

As we previously highlighted, after Austria placed the unjabbed under lockdown, preventing them from leaving their homes for anything other than “essential reasons,” police were seen patrolling supermarkets and highways checking resident’s vaccination status.

Several states in Germany also announced that they would ban the unvaccinated from numerous venues.

Now Italy’s unvaccinated population, which stands at around 7 million, could be about to face the same form of medical apartheid.

Likely Merkel Successor Sholz Says Mandatory Vaccinations Should be on the Table

Lefty Scholz stated on Monday at an economic summit that making vaccines mandatory should be on the table, saying: “I think it’s right that we have started a discussion about whether this should be done.”

Sweden’s Elevated COVID-19 Death Toll Connected to Its Large Migrant Population, State Epidemiologist Says

Swedish State Epidemiologist Dr. Anders Tegnel, the architect of Sweden’s unorthodox coronavirus strategy, has defended his no-lockdown approach to the pandemic, attributing the country’s death toll — which is considerably elevated compared to its Nordic neighbors — to its large migrant population.

During an interview with The Financial Times, Tegnel discussed what he sees as the main factors which have contributed to Sweden’s COVID-19 death toll of more than 15,000, which at this point in the pandemic is higher than the combined death tolls of Norway, Finland, and Denmark.

The Future of France? Civil War and Then Islamist Dictatorship, Says Famed Algerian Writer

“Strike hard and fast, that’s what the living and the dead are calling for,” said famous Algerian writer Boualem Sansal in an interview with Le Figaro, calling on France to take decisive, hard, and politically incorrect action.

According to him, only a “big reversal” gives a chance to save France from “Lebanonization” or “Algerization.” Sansal, who won the Arab Literature Prize, shared his opinion on the anniversary of the terrorist massacre at the Bataclan Club in Paris.

On Nov. 13, 2015, individuals sworn to the Islamic State terrorist group burst into the Bataclan club in Paris, where a concert was taking place, and shot 80 people with automatic weapons. These terrorist attacks, committed six years ago, were, according to Sansal, “an act of unimaginable violence, to which the French President (Francois Hollande) responded with tears and lamentations.”

As a result, the French were humiliated, as were the French army and police.

“In the face of Islam, France has lost all ability to think, rule and act. It submits and is about to submit again,” he warned.

Privacy Researchers Are Raising the Alarm Over Moscow’s “Face Pay”

Last month, Russia introduced a facial-recognition payment system in the Moscow Metro, one of the world’s most efficient mass transportation systems. The payment system, which does not require a transit card, ticket, smartphone app, or contactless bank card, has raised privacy concerns.

On October 15, Face Pay was usable in 240 stations of the Moscow Metro. City officials praised the system that, in theory, cuts time spent at the turnstiles to about three seconds.

“There are no analogues of Face Pay in terms of quality and ease of use for a passenger anywhere in the world,” said Maksim Liksutov, deputy mayor for transport, NYT reports.

Media Declares ‘Climate Lockdowns’ a “Conspiracy Theory” as India Prepares to Impose Climate Lockdown

While the media declares the notion of ‘climate lockdowns’ to be a fake news “conspiracy theory,” India is preparing to impose a climate lockdown to reduce pollution.

Yes, really.

NPR reports the details of the lockdown under the headline ‘New Delhi’s air pollution is so bad, officials are calling for a citywide lockdown’.

“India’s Supreme Court is calling for a lockdown in the capital, New Delhi. It’s because of a health emergency, but it’s not about COVID-19. It’s about air pollution,” states the piece.

Authorities are set to ban all nonessential travel on roads in the national capital region while ordering tens of millions of people to work from home.

Australia’s Newcastle Coal Port Blocked by Environmental Protesters

A group of protesters seeking to highlight their concerns that Australia is not doing enough to combat climate change is disrupting the coal operations in and around the Port of Newcastle, the world’s largest coal exporting facility. Calling their organization Blockade Australia, they are entering their second week of ongoing random demonstrations and actions disrupting the train lines and now one of the loading operations in the port.

The Port of Newcastle located on the southeast coast of Australia and coal mining are among the largest industries in Australia, both fueling domestic industry and providing a significant source of export income to the country. The coal trade is estimated to contribute more than A$26 billion (US$19 billion) annually to the economy. The port currently handles 4,400 ship movements and 164 million tons of cargo annually.

Belarus Brings Some Migrants in From Cold at Polish Border

WARSAW, Poland — Hundreds of migrants who were camped in the cold on the Poland-Belarus border have been moved to a nearby warehouse in Belarusian territory, reports said Wednesday, with some still harboring hopes of entering the European Union.

The move came a day after a melee broke out in the border crisis, with migrants throwing stones at Polish forces massed on their side of the razor-wire fence, injuring 12, and they responded with water cannons and tear gas. Warsaw accused Belarusian forces of instigating the conflict, while the government in Minsk denounced Poland’s “violent actions.”

Britain Returns Only Five Out of 24,000 Small-Boat Refugees to Europe This Year

Britain’s struggling immigration strategy has been exposed with only five of 24,000 small-boat refugees returned to Europe, a government minister has said.

Despite spending millions on preventive measures including £54 million ($72.7m) to enlist the help of French border police, the UK’s post-Brexit migrant policy is under severe pressure, members of Parliament were told in Wednesday.

A record number of asylum seekers are crossing the English Channel from France, some willing to pay €4,000 ($4,526) to people smugglers to make the hazardous boat trip.

Despite Britain introducing drones, reconnaissance aircraft, more patrol boats and paying for 200 French police officers to help prevent the crossings, the policy appears to have failed, the Home Affairs committee heard.

Church of England Says There is No Evidence of Asylum Seekers Faking Conversions to Christianity to Abuse the Immigration System and Avoid Being Sent Back to Muslim Countries as MPs Demand Probe

The Church of England today denied there is any link between their vicars converting Muslim migrants and systemic abuse of the asylum system after it was revealed the Liverpool suicide bomber had found Jesus and then appealed his own case.

Emad Al Swealmeen lost his first bid to stay in Britain in 2014 but appealed again in 2017 after he was confirmed at Liverpool Cathedral and his case was still outstanding when he blew himself up in a taxi on Sunday.

Vicars have been accused of aiding asylum seekers to ‘game’ the immigration system by helping hundreds to convert from Islam and ‘pray to stay’ in the UK as it emerged people smugglers are using Instagram to urge migrants to follow Jesus to help them gain British citizenship.

Farage Slams UK Govt’s Generous Handouts as Pull for Mass Migration

Brexit leader Nigel Farage has slammed the British government for using British taxpayers’ money to give generous benefits to asylum seekers, which he says are a pull for illegal mass migration.

She emphasized that the EU court had ruled out what we “would never have thought” that Hungary should practically support human trafficking.

The November incident immediately sparked questions about new migration routes to Europe.

Polish MEP: Poland Was Right Once Again This Time Concerning Migrants

“May you live in interesting times,” is a Chinese proverb which gains a special meaning today during the coronavirus pandemic, which started in China. Indeed, we live in interesting times, at least because the European Union is behaving like a child which is telling its mother that it won’t do something “just because,” and later is forced to change its opinion anyway because it clashes with reality.

The EU has treated Poland, the Baltic states and in some cases other countries in our region as Russophobes who were exaggerating their “prejudices” towards Moscow. Years later, quietly at first and then increasingly louder, they admitted that we were right.

Spain: Migration Crisis Spirals Out of Control

Prosecutors in Spain have charged a dozen North African migrants with sedition for illegally entering the country by forcing a commercial airliner to land on Spanish territory.

The plot, months in the making and unmatched in audacity, has demonstrated that commandeering airliners is a cheaper and safer way to reach Europe than paying people-smugglers thousands of euros for perilous sea crossings.

Spanish authorities, notorious for closing a blind eye to illegal immigration from North Africa, fear that the plot has set a precedent that will be repeated, not only in Spain but at other airports in Europe.

Watch: Migrant Children Made to Cry, Paraded for Waiting Cameras on Poland Border — Claim

The Polish government has released footage purporting to show child migrants being “prepped” to provoke sympathy for the waiting cameras of the media, with at least one having cigarette smoke blown in their face to make tears.

While women and children appear to make a small fraction of the thousands bussed to the EU’s eastern frontier by the regime in Minsk, nevertheless those present appear to have been prepared to evoke pathos for the waiting cameras of the media this week. Further cameras on the other side of the fence caught footage which the Polish government claims unveils the charade, however.

JK Rowling Excluded From Harry Potter 20th Reunion Special

JK Rowling, who created the Harry Potter character, the universe he inhabits, and whose imagination spawned a publishing and entertainment empire, will be left out of the franchise’s 20th anniversary reunion and special. The actors who made their names, and their careers, off of Rowling’s creativity will be included, however.

Rowling’s exclusion is likely entirely because she believes that biological sex is an immutable reality and that women are something more than a feeling. She has stated this publicly, in support of women who lost their employment for also believing the science instead of fiction.

  1. Oh no. Now my peanut butter has to be politically correct.. Bye-by Kraft.
As for “immigrants” … just [intemperate recommendation redacted]. They will get the message very fast once we start doing that.
    Problem solved.

  2. Poland – Trump could see the Russian problem coming that’s why he complained about Germany agreeing to Nord Stream 2 and shipped some gas to Poland so Russia would think Poland and Ukraine had an alternative gas supply if cut off. Biden unlikely to help anyone.
The Britney Spears thing is mass hysteria for what? If she has any money left in 4 years I will be very surprised. Her toy boy will be spending it as fast as he can but not in 12 months as that would be too obvious. He will make it last until the media “eye” has moved on and no one is interested. Only people who have some experience of schizophrenia know what is involved. The frontal lobe functions and cognitive ability are affected and they make poor decisions. I’m not surprised they were monitoring her closely as people with mental health issues make an effort to hide it and it is only when they are alone and their auditory hallucinations become louder that you can get a real assessment of how well they are doing and if their meds should be increased. When the auditory hallucinations become louder the patient vocalises the voices they hear in their head. The hallucinations talk through them as if they are possessed. All this hoohah is from people who have no idea what goes on.

  3. Eric Zemmour is being tried “on charges of “public insult” and “incitement to hatred or violence” against a group of people because of their ethnic, national, racial or religious origin”.

    What of the Koran?
Will the French judiciary consider the Koran?
It describes Jews (like Zemmour) as “filth ….the vilest of beasts” (8:22), “apes and pigs” (5:60), “the most despicable” (98:6), and instructs “between us and you enmity and hatred forever” (60:4).

Those kinds of “public insult” and “incitement to hatred or violence” are given out daily in the mosques.

  4. So they the are destroying the economy of their provinces and the lives of their people over a disease with a 99%+ survival rate?
COVID fear truly is a cult.

maim, rape, murder and get money 10 million for violating jihadis rights.

These excellent rights exist only in the west.

Why invaders are welcomed when they arrive in Italy, Greece, Spain, Britain, just from anywhere anyhow they arrive. . .

    BUT NOT THROUGH BELARUS

Every word, every action every law in the west over the past 30 years conveys to invaders / soldiers of allah and urges them to just arrive anywhere in eu and Schengen is there to help “reverting to colonization or rather extending the mercy of islam to the kuffar areas and liberating them from their sins.
