Bidinflation: Americans Spending an Extra $175 Per Month on Food, Fuel, Housing

Supply chain shortages and government spending has taken a toll Americans’ wallets, with households on average having to shell out an additional $175 on average for essentials like food, fuel, and housing, and analysts have no prediction to when prices will stabilize.

Chief economist at Moody’s Analytics, Mark Zandi, told the New York Post that households earning the US median annual income of about $70,000 are having to spend $175 more due to the current inflation rate, which surged 5.3 percent in August compared to the same month last year.

“Proceed With Caution at Your Own Peril” — Merck’s COVID ‘Super Drug’ Poses Serious Health Risks, Scientists Warn

As it turns out, all the scientists and doctors who insisted that Merck’s “revolutionary” COVID drug molnupiravir is extremely safe weren’t faithfully adhering to “the science” after all. Because according to a report published Thursday by Barron’s, some scientists are worried that the drug — which purportedly cut hospitalizations in half during a study that was cut short — could cause cancer or birth defects.

So much for having a “strong safety profile,” as Dr. Scott Gottlieb claimed in an interview on the day Merck first publicized the research.

Biden Admin Faces Disappointing September Jobs Report

Another month of bad news for the economy as the Biden administration released their latest jobs report. The official numbers fell short by over 300,000 of what was expected.

The employment situation for September only added 194,000 nonfarm payroll jobs, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. The report notes that the sectors that saw the most growth were “in leisure and hospitality, in professional and business services, in retail trade, and in transportation and warehousing.”

Breaking: Federal Prosecutors Will Not Seek Charges Against Officer Who Shot Jacob Blake

On Friday, Federal prosecutors announced that they will not be filing charges against the police officer who shot Jacob Blake in Wisconsin last summer, according to NBC 4.

Officer Rusten Sheskey shot Blake seven times in the back by the officer while responding a domestic dispute on Aug 23, 2020. Blake survived the shooting, but is now paralyzed.

The shooting resulted in multiple nights of riots in Kenosha, with businesses being destroyed and burned down. It was at those riots that Kyle Rittenhouse shot three rioters, killing two of them.

Caroline Glick: Revolution Has Come to America

How does a nation lose its freedom? One way, of course is through foreign conquest. History is filled with examples of nations being subjugated and enslaved by foreign tyranny.

Today, in the United States, Americans are not losing their liberty to a foreign power, but to domestic revolutionaries. The revolutionaries are willing to use force, as they showed in the summer of 2020 when they burned and looted their way through U.S. cities. But generally speaking, their weapon is not the gun or the jackboot, but demonization and intimidation. And now, with the Biden administration firmly ensconced in power, they move forward with their revolution with the firm backing of the state, and its weapons of repression and criminalization.

Last month the revolutionaries and the administration converged before the cameras at meeting between Vice President Kamala Harris and students at George Mason University in Virginia.

A female student with the voice of a child used her audience with Harris as an opportunity to promote the revolution’s vicious hatred of Jews, and of America. She sniffed emotionally under her mask and told America’s second highest elected official that her feelings were hurt when Congress passed a bill for supplemental funding to Israel’s Iron Dome anti-missile system. The move, she yowled, “hurts my heart because it’s an ethnic genocide and a displacement of people, the same that happened in America, and I’m sure you’re aware of this.”

Harris might have been expected to call the student out for promoting anti-Semitic and anti-American blood libels. But she didn’t. Instead, Harris empowered the young bigot. She said she was “glad” the student shared her views. “This is about the fact that your voice, your perspective, your experience, your truth, should not be suppressed and it must be heard, right? And one of the things we’re fighting for in a democracy, right?”

There are two ways to understand Harris’s behavior, and they can both be true at the same time…

Cruz: “COVID Has Shown Democrats Are Authoritarian Jackbooted Thugs”

Texas Senator Ted Cruz charged Wednesday that the COVID crisis has revealed the real character of Democrats in power, calling them “jackbooted thugs” and warning that “There is no decision about your life that they will not try to control.”

Cruz made the comments during an interview with Sean Hannity, in which the Senator addressed the attempts of Biden’s Justice Department to paint up concerned parents in the U.S. as “domestic terrorists” for questioning vaccine mandates and radical critical race theory being made a part of their kids’ education curriculum.

Dems Use “Threat of Trump” To Justify Any Power Grab

If you oppose monitoring everyone’s bank accounts for $600 and $250,000 electric car chargers for Tesla owners, you’re “helping Trump’s next coup”. You’re either with us or with Trump. The binary demands total and immediate submission to the Left’s agenda. Anyone who dissents is, well as the Bolsheviks used to put it, a fascist. It’s the Bolsheviks calling socialists traitors if they didn’t sign on to their authoritarian program. The binary eliminates any options other than following party discipline or supporting the return of the Czar.

There can only be one party. And within that party, there can only be one correct viewpoint. Either you’re with us or with Trump.

Lawyers Who Allegedly Threw Molotovs at NYPD Cars Amid George Floyd Protests to Plead Guilty

Two attorneys arrested for allegedly throwing Molotov cocktails at NYPD vehicles during George Floyd protests in NYC in May 2020 are expected to enter guilty pleas, one of their attorneys said.

Colinford Mattis, a Princeton and NYU Law graduate who had worked at Pryor Cashman, and public interest attorney Urooj Rahman, who attended Fordham Law, will plead guilty tomorrow to one count of possessing a destructive device under a plea deal worked out with prosecutors, said defense attorney Paul Schectman.

The maximum potential prison sentence is ten years, but it is expected the two will receive far less time. The count does not carry any mandatory minimum sentence, unlike several of the other counts that will be dismissed under the plea deal.

Los Angeles County Sheriff Refuses to Enforce Vaccine Mandate

Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva has refused to enforce a local vaccine mandate, saying he would risk losing up to 10 per cent of his workforce if he did.

After his department’s budget was cut by $145.5 million in June 2020, partly as a result of the ‘defund the police’ movement, Villanueva says he already faces losing hundreds of officers.

Enforcing COVID vaccine mandates would further cripple the force at a time when homicides have surged 31 per cent in the first six months of 2021 compared to last year.

McConnell Slams Garland for School Board Memo, Says Parent Protests Are ‘Democracy, Not Intimidation’

FIRST ON FOX: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on Friday sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland asking him to clarify what his recent memo on “harassment” and “intimidation” of school officials by parents means, including whether recall election efforts amount to intimidation that should be investigated by the police.

The letter follows days of outrage over the attorney general’s memo, which came shortly after a letter from the National School Boards Association (NSBA) to President Biden that said some rhetorical clashes between school boards and parents may amount to “domestic terrorism.”

Garland’s memo told the FBI to take the lead on a task force to address threats against school officials, including creating a centralized way to report such threats.

Photos: Right Wing Protesters Turned Up at the Fairfax School Board to Rail Against… Everything.

Last night, several protestors converged outside of a Fairfax County School Board meeting at Luther Jackson Middle School in Falls Church. They were there to voice disapproval over two books that, until recently, were available in Fairfax County public school libraries. The works—Maia Kobabe’s memoir Gender Queer and Lawn Boy by Jonathan Evison—were recently pulled from the libraries after a parent complained about explicit sexual scenes in the texts, arguing that the literature includes portrayals of pedophilia. A review process will now determine whether the books, which both feature LGBTQ+ characters, will stay off the shelves for good.

However, books weren’t the only protest fodder. Demonstrators also voiced objections to vaccines, critical race theory, bathrooms, and mask requirements.

Trump’s Possible 2024 White House Run Giving Democrats Anxiety

The rising likelihood of former President Donald Trump mounting a bid for the White House in 2024 paired with President Biden’s falling poll numbers are giving Democrats anxiety, according to a report.

Stoking more speculation is Trump’s campaign-style rally Saturday at the state fairgrounds in Iowa, the key early voting state where a recent poll found that voters view him more favorably now than they did when he was president.

The former president hasn’t said whether he will run for another term in 2024, but Jason Miller, a longtime aide, said he believes the chances are “between 99 and 100 percent.”

“He has not said the magical words to me, but if you talk to him for a few minutes, it’s pretty clear that he’s running,” Miller told Cheddar News in an interview last month.

Coupled with Biden’s tanking job approval ratings, which have fallen into the 30s following the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan and his sputtering legislative agenda, Democrats are anxious.

Hundreds of AA workers and allies protested outside the company’s Fort Worth, Texas headquarters on Thursday. The protesters told The Dallas Morning News that they are skeptical of the vaccines’ effectiveness and their unreported side effects.

Netherlands: Eindhoven Terror Suspects Discussed AK-47 Attack, Beheading Geert Wilders: Report

Conversations intercepted by domestic intelligence service AIVD led to the arrests of nine men in Eindhoven on allegations that they planned to carry out a terrorist attack. The men, all Dutch citizens, discussed the possibility of targeting Prime Minister Mark Rutte, PVV leader Geert Wilders, FvD leader Thierry Baudet, and Health Minister Hugo de Jonge, according to an investigative report by RTL Nieuws.

The men were watching a Denzel Washington film, and had the discussion late at night on September 18, and into the early hours of the following morning, sources told the broadcaster.

They were arrested three days later. They suspects in age from 18 to 31. One was born in Afghanistan, while the other eight were born in the Netherlands, the Public Prosecution Service (OM) previously disclosed. The OM also said the men support jihadist ideology and sympathize with ISIS…

Spain: Six Madrid Police Officers to Testify for Breaking Into an Alleged Illegal Party

Judge Jaime Serret, presiding in Madrid’s Court of Instruction No28, on September 19, issued an order in which he claimed six police officers had possibly broken the law by breaking in the door of an apartment in the city.

This incident had occurred on March 21, 2020, at the height of the pandemic. The officers had responded to a call informing them of an illegal party taking place in a building on Calle Lagasca. When the occupants of apartment No19 refused the officers entry, they proceeded to break the door in with a battering ram.

The occupants of the apartment testified before the court in September, and in his ruling, the judge maintained that there were “solid” indications of a crime of trespassing on behalf of the policemen. He ordered the six officers to appear before a jury in court, and the hearing is today, Friday, October 8.

Increases in COVID-19 Are Unrelated to Levels of Vaccination Across 68 Countries and 2947 Counties in the United States

At the country-level, there appears to be no discernable relationship between percentage of population fully vaccinated and new COVID-19 cases in the last 7 days (Fig. 1). In fact, the trend line suggests a marginally positive association such that countries with higher percentage of population fully vaccinated have higher COVID-19 cases per 1 million people. Notably, Israel with over 60% of their population fully vaccinated had the highest COVID-19 cases per 1 million people in the last 7 days. The lack of a meaningful association between percentage population fully vaccinated and new COVID-19 cases is further exemplified, for instance, by comparison of Iceland and Portugal. Both countries have over 75% of their population fully vaccinated and have more COVID-19 cases per 1 million people than countries such as Vietnam and South Africa that have around 10% of their population fully vaccinated.

In locked down Victoria we can now travel 15km from our home, but one side of the city to the other is close to 100km. We have been locked down for 250 days. I have been going to work with a permit, but now we have a case I can’t go to work or leave the house until I get my test result back. I can’t even go out to buy food even though I have been vaccinated. I think my work may be closed for 2 weeks! I have forgotten what it is like to go to the shop. I have started buying old DVD’s to watch on TV as nothing else to do and I refuse to sign up to streaming. We still can’t leave the country. 2. Update on Polish Constitutional Tribunal decision..
Eric Zemmour issue oficial statement regarding Poland Constitutional Court decision.
..” France has to learn lessons from this federalist coup that the European Commission tried. I fully support the Polish nation and its government in enforcing their legal order ” .. wrote the French columnist Eric Zemmour, apparently, Emmanuel Macron’s biggest counter-candidate in next year’s presidential elections in France.

He referred to Thursday’s judgment of the Polish Constitutional Court and believes that it is time to restore the primacy of national legislation over European law in France as well.

The journalist criticised the reaction of the European Commission and the possibility of imposing sanctions on Poland, which he called “a blackmail” and “a serious violation of political freedom”.

Mr Zemmour noted that the statement by Brussels indicated the possibility of imposing financial repercussions on Poland. “These barely veiled threats represent a serious attack on the country’s Democratic and political freedom,” he assessed.

In his opinion, the European Commission does not hesitate to use threats as their targets are always the same countries, “those that are considered ideologically disobedient and that should be brought to order by means of coercion and blackmail “.

Poland Military reporting that Germany secretly is massing own military on Poland border..Will be a III World War Again ?

    • After the threats made by the European Commission against Poland, Eric Zemmour says it is about time to end the primacy of European law on French law. .. declared :
“The EC is leading a violent legal assault against the peoples who reject its ideological line. It is urgent that France join these nations in their fight for freedom.”
      Full statement below :
      https://twitter.com/ZemmourEric/status/1446366892541816844/photo/1

    • The Germans can’t field a fully equipped division, they have new Leopard Tanks but no fuel and no ammo and no one to drive them, they have 3 aircraft that barely function, only 1 can fly, a navy that can’t put to sea, so the chances of Germany putting their military on the border to invade Poland is next to zero. .

  3. The Council of State verified that the application of European law did not violate the requirements of the French constitution as regards the collection of telecommunications operators’ data. After clarifications from the CJEU, the Council of State examined the compatibility of the French legal framework with European law.

However, the Council of State refused to verify whether the bodies of the European Union, and in particular the CJEU, did not exceed their powers (the so-called “ultra vires” control). It is a decision of the CJEU, which indicated that EU countries cannot impose on operators the obligation to store data concerning, inter alia, location of all users. The only exception is the real and concrete threat to national security.

“The Council of State recalls that the French constitution remains the supreme norm of domestic law.”
As a consequence, it is necessary to check whether the application of European law specified by the CJEU does not violate constitutional requirements in practice, ”wrote the Council of State on Wednesday in the justification of the decision supporting data collection by telecommunications operators due to the threat to national security and terrorism.

“The framework for data collection in European law does not undermine constitutional requirements for national security and the fight against crime,” stated in the explanatory memorandum. The Council of State stated that the constitutional requirements for the protection of the fundamental interests of the nation, the prevention of violations of public order, the fight against terrorism and the search for perpetrators of crimes cannot be resolved by EU law “equivalent” to what is guaranteed by the constitution. The Council of State concluded that the generalized data collection that French law imposes on operators today is well justified by the threat to national security as required by the CJEU.

“In the case of the crimes identified by the CJEU, the solution of targeted data collection is neither materially possible nor – operationally effective. In fact, it is not possible to pre-establish who will be involved in a crime that has not yet been committed or where it will be committed, ”the Council of State added. However, the government will be required to “regularly assess the threat to French territory to justify data collection,” decided the Council of State, the equivalent of the supreme administrative court.

“France is living in a serious, real and present threat to national security,” Vice-President of the State Council Bruno Lasserre said on Wednesday. In France, judges and investigators each year authorize around 2.5 million uses of data collected by telecommunications operators. According to the State Council’s decisions, investigators will no longer be able to use data from operators in cases of ordinary crimes such as drug trafficking, theft, burglary or robbery.

With regard to the use of data by intelligence services, the Council of State requires that the authorization issued by the Prime Minister be approved by the National Commission for the Control of Intelligence Techniques.

    • But the European Commission reaffirms the primacy of EU law.
