Hungary: From “Put on the Brakes” To “Full Speed Ahead” — Commentary

Hungary’s economic forecast for this year’s growth has improved to 7.6 percent, according to the International Monetary Fund. Compared to its previous forecast, the IMF has adjusted the possible pace of expansion upwards by 1.4 percent, which is a significant — albeit positive — deviation. If the figure in the forecast comes true, Hungary can achieve the second-highest growth among the European Union countries, far exceeding the EU average of 5.1 percent.

Baldwin Breaks Silence, Expresses “Shock and Sadness” After Killing Woman With “Prop Gun”

Update (1315ET): Issuing his first public statement since reportedly accidentally killing a senior production staffer with a “prop gun” on the set of his movie “Rust” yesterday, Alec Baldwin tweeted on Friday that he was “shocked and saddened” by the incident and that he was in touch with the victim’s family in what appeared to be a carefully vetted statement that offered no clues as to what actually happened, nor assigned any blame, simply referring to her as a “tragic accident”.

“There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours. I’m fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna.”

Baldwin said he’s cooperating fully in the police investigation.

Meanwhile, as speculation about the shooting intensifies, the Times of London has offered a few thoughts about how a prop gun might be used to accidentally kill somebody. It could be possible that a live round was placed in the chamber “by mistake”.

CNN Refuses to Apologize to Joe Rogan Over Ivermectin Smear

CNN has refused to apologize to Joe Rogan after falsely claiming the podcast host took “horse dewormer,” claiming that its erroneous reporting did nothing more than ‘bruise’ Rogan’s ego.

After Rogan became ill with COVID last month, “multiple doctors” told him to take Ivermectin, which is FDA-approved as an antiparasitic agent.

When Rogan recovered within three days, CNN launched a smear campaign claiming he took “horse dewormer” and that he was spreading dangerous misinformation about COVID.

COVID’s Lepers

The vaccinated are not just more likely to catch Covid, they are more likely to spread it. A study from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) done in Wisconsin showed that vaccinated people have the same high viral loads as unvaccinated people when they are symptomatic, but a much higher percentage of vaccinated people (82 per cent) had high viral loads while asymptomatic compared with unvaccinated people (29 per cent). This means unvaccinated people are less likely to spread Covid than vaccinated people because the former are more likely to stay home in bed whereas the latter are much more likely to go to work. Another CDC study done in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, found that 74 per cent of those infected were fully vaccinated and on average they had higher viral loads than unvaccinated people who were infected.

This is particularly important for people working in health or aged care. A study just released from Israel described an outbreak in a hospital where a fully vaccinated patient infected 23 per cent of the patients and 10 per cent of the staff, even though 96 per cent of the people exposed were fully vaccinated. All staff were fully vaccinated and remained asymptomatic or with mild disease but eight fully vaccinated patients became severely ill and five died, whereas the two unvaccinated patients had mild infections. As the authors of the study wrote, the outbreak ‘challenges the assumption that high universal vaccination rates will lead to herd immunity and prevent Covid-19 outbreaks’. Moreover, the transmission between patients and staff occurred when the latter were wearing masks and full protective clothing.

Halyna Hutchins Killed After ‘Horrifying’ Prop Gun Misfire; Joe Manganiello, More Pay Tribute

Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins died Thursday in New Mexico after Alec Baldwin discharged a prop firearm on the set of “Rust,” authorities confirmed. She was 42.

After receiving calls of a reported shooting, police officers arrived to the set of the Western movie to find both Hutchins and director Joel Souza, 48, shot. A helicopter transported Hutchins to the University of New Mexico Hospital, where she was pronounced dead by medical personnel, according to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office. Souza, was transported via ambulance to Christus St. Vincent’s hospital and has since been released, according to his rep Matt DelPiano.

The incident is still under active investigation and no charges have been filed, the sheriff’s office said. Detectives are continuing to interview witnesses…

Hours Before Fatal Shooting on Alec Baldwin’s ‘Rust,’ a Half Dozen Crew Members Quit to Protest Work Conditions

Hours before a shot on the set of the Alec Baldwin film “Rust” killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, a half dozen camera crew workers had walked off set to protest safety conditions on the film, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times.

The Times spoke with three individuals Friday who were frustrated by working conditions and added that several non-union crew members were brought in to replace them. Hutchins was also among those to have raised concerns about safety conditions for her team.

Prior to the accident that killed Hutchins however, an individual who spoke with the Times also said that there were two misfires on the prop gun on Saturday and one the previous week, and that one person told the Times there were a “serious lack of safety meetings on set.”

The shooting that killed Hutchins ultimately occurred about six hours after the union camera crew left, according to the Times.

“The safety of our cast and crew is the top priority of Rust Productions and everyone associated with the company,” a representative for Rust Productions told TheWrap in response to the article. “Though we were not made aware of any official complaints concerning weapon or prop safety on set, we will be conducting an internal review of our procedures while production is shut down. We will continue to cooperate with the Santa Fe authorities in their investigation and offer mental health services to the cast and crew during this tragic time…

Patent and trademark attorneys Dr. Gal Ehrlich and Maier Fenster of Ehrlich & Fenster recently had a US patent approved for a technology that aims to surveil people via their digital activity, give them a score that defines “the potential level of super-spreading activity of each individual,” and then vaccinate people based on this score.

The patent proposes collecting a wide range of personal information from sources such as mobile devices, apps, social media web browsing records, payment records, medical records, employment records, the government, and surveillance cameras.

Police Chief: Bullying Played No Role in Timberview High School Shooting

ARLINGTON, Texas — Arlington’s police chief says he does not believe bullying played any role in this month’s school shooting at Mansfield ISD’s Timberview High School.

Shortly after the shooting, which injured two students and a teacher, Timothy Simpkins’ family said he’d been the target of bullying. They said that’s what led to a classroom fight and ended with the shooting.

The family of the injured student involved in the fight denied the boy had bullied Simpkins.

The police chief said Simpkins participated in “high-risk activity” leading up to the fight. That announcement was made at a town hall meeting held by Mansfield ISD.

Arlington Police Chief Al Jones said the only evidence of bullying he’s seen so far is a statement from Simpkins’ family. He believes the shooting stemmed from some sort of disagreement between the suspect and the victim..

Elections Alberta Determines NDP Candidate Was Communist, Rules No Wrongdoing by Rebel

A “notice of investigation outcome” was served to our legal team this morning after the election cops in Alberta concluded an investigation into nuisance complaints regarding a billboard truck that took to the streets of Calgary in April of 2019.

That truck was one of the funniest things we did during the last provincial election campaign in Alberta.

My colleague at the time, Keean Bexte, was just so passionate about telling the world what the mainstream media wouldn’t: that an actual communist was running for the NDP in a Calgary riding.

So, he rented a billboard truck that ran a video explaining the truth about Anne McGrath and her past as a federal Communist Party candidate back in the 1980s.

To add to the fun, the truck also played the Soviet national anthem, which naturally attracted interested onlookers.

McGrath lost and so did the NDP, and naturally the cry-baby complaints came as the losers tried to weaponize the elections bureaucrats to silence their critics, namely us here at Rebel News.

Quebec Kids Told Not to Yell ‘Trick or Treat’ On Halloween Due to COVID

This year, kids in Quebec have been told not to yell “trick or “treat” this Halloween, due to supposed worries about them spreading COVID-19.

“For those who don’t show symptoms and who participate in the gathering and distribution of candy, remember that caution is still in order to limit the risks of spreading the virus,” read the caution.

According to Global News, the province of Quebec, amazingly, hasn’t had a “normal” Halloween since the year 2018.

This is due to the fact that, there were warnings for heavy rainfall back in 2019, causing some people to wind up celebrating the occasion a day later, effectively splitting Halloween into two parts.

Italian Police Use Water Cannon on Port Protesters

Following a three-day demonstration against Covid pass

(ANSA-AFP) — ROME, OCT 18 — Police in Italy on Monday used water cannon and tear gas against protesters at the northeastern port of Trieste following a three-day demonstration against a new mandatory workplace Covid pass. Dozens of police in riot gear faced off against hundreds of remaining demonstrators and port workers who began blocking one of the port entrances Friday in protest against Italy’s so-called Green Pass. “Liberty, liberty!” shouted protesters, as others yelled “We’re not violent, put down your shields”. Police managed to clear the entrance after a few hours of standoff, pushing demonstrators to a nearby parking lot. Trieste dock workers had called a strike Friday despite being offered free Covid tests, and their protest attracted demonstrators from out of town. The Green Pass, which offers proof of vaccination, recent recovery from Covid-19 or a negative test, became mandatory in all workplaces on Friday throughout Italy. The new regulation spurred a wave of protests across the country, although most were small and not disruptive.

More than 6,500 people demonstrated at the Trieste port, however, at the height of the protest Friday. Although more than 85 percent of Italians over the age of 12 have received at least one vaccine jab, qualifying them for the pass, there remain up to three million workers estimated to be unvaccinated.

Liberal-Left Media Encourage Future Czech Government to Abandon Visegrad Group

The UK’s Fundamental Transformation Through COVID Restrictions

So many diseases have mostly been vanquished that were horrific scourges even in my lifetime — polio, leukemia (which was virtually always a death sentence when I was young, and struck a considerable number of children), and mumps and measles (the latter of which had the possibility of significant and highly serous complications such as encephalitis). These advances are great, but they have made the younger generation less willing to shoulder any health risks, and that makes them more susceptible to advocating restrictions on liberty in the name of health.

UK: Disproportionate Focus on ‘Far-Right’ Stopping Anti-Terror Programmes From Preventing Islamist Extremism: Report

A disproportionate focus on the far-right has taken away the necessary resources from confronting Islamist extremists in the UK’s battle against terrorism, a report has claimed.

A report from the Henry Jackson Society claimed that political correctness has resulted in a “fundamental mismatch” between the terror threat posed by Islamic extremism and the focus paid to it by Prevent and Channel — the government’s main anti-extremism programmes.

With Both UK’s Biggest Parties Supporting the “Online Harms” Bill, Britain Faces a Chilling Blow to Free Speech

Utilizing the killing of MP Sir David Amess, Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer asked PM Boris Johnson to bring the second reading of the Online Harms Bill by the end of the year. Starmer made the request during the PMQs (Prime Minister’s Questions).

“It is three years since the government promised an Online Safety Bill but it is not yet before the House — meanwhile the damage caused by harmful content online is worse than ever,” the Labour Leader said. He added that if the Conservative government brings the bill before parliament before the end of the year, his party would support it.

Supporters of the bill claim it will protect people from online abuse. The bill also addresses misinformation and terrorism. But critics maintain it would have a chilling effect on free speech.

Yellow Vest, Fuel Price and Health Pass Protests Planned in France on Saturday

Dozens of protests against rising energy prices and the health passport are planned in towns and cities across France this weekend.

The ‘yellow vests’ are leading the protests against increasing fuel prices, the cause that started the protests three years ago. A call has gone out for a ‘return to the roundabouts’, the movement’s favoured protest site when their demonstrations began in late 2018.

The first new ‘yellow vests’ protests last week were limited in scope, police said, and authorities do not expect a large increase in the scale of demonstrations this week — despite mounting anger on popular activists’ social media.

Can Israel Trust a New U.S. Nuclear Deal With Iran?

Regrettably, at a time when this radical Iranian regime is vulnerable domestically, the Biden administration is eagerly pushing for a deal with Iran that would give this hateful regime a great deal of leverage. With demonstrations occurring regularly in spite of intimidation by the regime’s paid goons, ordinary Iranians are going to the streets to protest shortages of water and electricity. Growing voices are speaking out, accusing the Ayatollahs regime of corruption, and blaming it for their suffering. While Raisi was hand-picked by Ali Khamenei, the Supreme leader, the Iranian people voted with their feet, scoring the lowest voter turnout in recent history.

Caroline Glick: Israel’s Post-American Strategic Challenge

A report this week about the discussions Israel and the U.S. are now holding regarding the Iranian nuclear program was nothing short of an earthquake. Tuesday, Israel Hayom ran a red headline on its front page: “Frustration in Jerusalem: U.S. Passive Against Iran.” The story, by military correspondent Yoav Limor told us two deeply alarming things about the state of American-Israeli coordination on Iran’s nuclear program. First, the Americans are not working with Israel to block Iran from becoming a nuclear power. They are working against Israel.

The Americans and Israelis agree that Iran is on the verge of becoming a nuclear breakout state, which can assemble nuclear weapons at will. But whereas they agree on the status of Iran’s quest for military nuclear capability, they disagree about what the response to the current state of Iran’s nuclear program should be. Israel’s position is that the U.S. should take diplomatic and economic action, and at a minimum threaten military action if Iran refuses to reinstate the limitations on its nuclear activities set out in the so-called Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or JCPOA, from 2015. The 2015 nuclear deal permitted Iran to enrich limited quantities of uranium to 3.67 percent enrichment. Iran is currently enriching massive quantities of uranium to 60 percent enrichment — just a step away from weapons grade.

President Joe Biden and his advisors are unwilling to consider placing additional economic sanctions on Iran. Indeed, the administration is turning a blind eye to Iran’s export of massive quantities of oil and gas to China and other states, in breach of the sanctions.

Military action, the Americans told their Israeli interlocutors, isn’t off the table.

The Americans say they may be willing to consider taking diplomatic action of some form or another. But in exchange, they demand Israeli concessions to the Palestinians.

In short, Limor’s article reported that the U.S. has made clear to Israel that it will take no effective action to block Iran from becoming a nuclear power…

Hang Ikbal Hossain Who Placed Quran on Hindu Deity to Create a Communal Attack on Minorities in Bangladesh

As there are dog squads to manage the mad dogs everywhere, we must form such squads to control mad Jihadi dogs.

Abhay Ambarish Das | Mayapur | HENB | Oct 21, 2021:: Every Municipal body, local authority, City Corporation, even in village level units has a dog squad to catch the mad stray dogs for the safety of the civilians. Though it appears a bit inhumane, they catch the infected dogs, mad and problematic stray dogs and neutralize them with lethal injection or electrification or by other means to save the human beings from the dangerous dog bites. Such dogs are really dangerous.

Now a mad dog named Iqbal Hossain aged 35 was caught by Bangladesh Police on Thursday from Coxbazar who placed a Quran on the lap of a Hanuman idol in a Durga Puja Pandal at Nanua Dighir Par in Comilla on 13th Oct at the fall of night. Instantly, the herd of mad dogs in Bangladesh came out furiously in the streets of every corner of Bangladesh and stared barking in the name of Allah ho Akbar, Islam in danger, cut the infidels and blasphemy in all.

As a result Bangladesh witnessed a semi genocide of Hindus in a process of ethnic cleansing in which over a dozen of Bangladeshi Hindus have been killed, hundreds of Durgapuja deities and pandals vandalized, countless Hindu temples (including ISKCON Temple, Ramakrishna Mission Temple and Ram Thakur Samadhi Mandir) business and households plundered. Common Hindus were ruthlessly attacked, their womenfolk raped and brutalized.

As per a report of Dhaka Tribune, A man named Iqbal Hossain, 35, son of Nur Ahmed Alam from Sujanagar area of the city, had kept the Holy Quran at Nanua Dighir Par Puja Pandal in Comilla on October 13.

Police identified Iqbal’s involvement after analysing the video footage of surveillance cameras at the puja venue, Comilla Superintendent of Police (SP) Farooq Ahmed confirmed on Wednesday.

It has been surfaced from CCTV footage, it was seen that Iqbal took the Quran from a mosque and walked to the Puja venue. He was later seen walking away with the Hindu God Hanuman’s club (gada) in his hand.

Iqbal was absconding, but arrested from Coxbazaar on Oct 21.

It is now said that Iqbal Hossain is a drifter and has some mental imbalance and is drug addicted also…

“We Are in a Cold War, “ Niall Ferguson Says

Our future will be decided by U.S.-Chinese competition, further waves of the coronavirus pandemic and the battle between states and multinationals, Niall Ferguson told Mandiner.

“I think we are in a kind of Cold War between the United States and China, and I feel that the development of this Cold War will be a great story for the next few years. It is possible that China will conclude from the withdrawal from Afghanistan that the United States has weakened drastically and it could therefore risk a Taiwan invasion. It may not be this year, but I can imagine it happening in the next two to three years,” Ferguson said, adding that Europe will ultimately have no choice but to side with the United States.

German Minister Holds Russia Responsible for Belarus Migrant Surge

German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer has stated that Moscow is ultimately responsible for Belarus sending thousands of migrants to the EU, with over 3,000 arriving in Germany since the start of the month.

Mr Seehofer said of the ongoing migrant crisis on the Belarus-Poland border that Belarus was engaging in “hybrid warfare”, a term previously used by London-based think tank Chatham House in August.

The German minister went on to accuse Russia of being responsible for the surge of migrants, which started over the summer, saying the key to the crisis was not in Minsk but in Moscow, a reference to the influence of Russian President Vladimir Putin over puppet Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Bild reports.

Greece: Surveillance System Ready to Go in Evros

The trial operation of the automated border surveillance system on the Evros land border with Turkey formally started on Wednesday.

The system consists of a network of cameras and long-range radar that has been installed along the border, transmitting images and data on the conditions in the area in real time.

According to the project’s contract, the trial period will last one month and the system is expected to be fully operational on November 20.

More specifically, the network consists of a total of 11 cameras and radars with a range of 3.5 to 15 kilometers inside Turkish territory, ensuring what officials call “timely border detection,” as they will from now on be able to identify and record the movements of, among others, illegal migrants before they approach Greek territory.

      • I would be more concern about 350 000 greeks living in Germany..They don’t fit this part of Europe genetically..as theirs Turkish grandparents..

        • Why do your remarks remind me of some obscure racist theories of the 1930 ies?
Back then, there were masterraces and untermenschen. And you know where you ranked in that order, don’t you? I was expecting more sensitivity from someone coming from a potential victims group.
          Very shallow thinking…

          • ..”And you know where you ranked in that order, don’t you? ”
I don’t know..Please educate me, where as a Pole i/m ranked in that order ? Will you ?
..”Back then, there were masterraces and untermenschen”..
            Back ” than” ?..When ?
We Poles never fill to be a ” untermenschen”..and never know what is it..
            Who is asking ?
You know very well ” that” order is still present in the mind of offspring use to be a ” west european”, “masterraces..Nothing change since ,beside decor..and name of the spectacle..
We Poles dosen’t need to change , for you to prevail and continue to exist, it’s yours imperative..

          • Well as much as I hate to agree with ole Mohooey, you are mostly Turkish and Mohooey is a Pole with a very stiff backbone and calls it the way he sees it without apology. When the SHTF, we will need the Poles when all is said and done. You Greeks still haven’t gotten off your backsides and thrown those GD 3rd worlders into the sea yet?

          • I have never dealt with the Poles, but for some reason here I observe some kind of incomprehensible aggression on the part of them. For some reason, they are trying to humiliate me and pour out the pain of their small proud people on me. HM. Funny. As if I have something to do with it.

  2. @G
    So we are mostly Turkish.
Please tell me how do you reach in this conclusion?
Is it because you do not like the Greeks,as Nitcze writes in the 15th chapter of his work “the birth of Tragedy”? read it is very enlightening, and many Greeks have read it and so it became obvious how much the Europeans dislike us. Not that we care!
    But i will disappoint you.
A few years ago imminent geneticists,Cavalli Sforza,Menozzi ,Piazza and Triantaphillidis, found out that 20% of the Greeks come from Palaiolithic era and the rest fron Neolithic, that they have 85% the same DNA with the south Italians and that the non Greeks in the country are only o,05%.
They also clearly state that Greeks are some of the earliest contributors of genetic material to the rest of the Europeans as they are one of the oldest populations in Europe .
You should also know that the Turks in Ionia(Asia Minor) are Greeks who turn to Islam by force.Erdogan is Greek Pontios(Greek of the black sea).
So some Turks are of Greek descent.
Learn history and not be a malaka like your Polish friend.
Europe is a Greek word and this continent is based on Athens,Rome and Christianity you like it or not.
