2 Statues of Jesus Christ Vandalized at Miami Shores Church
MIAMI SHORES, FLA. (WSVN) — An investigation is underway after two statues of Jesus Christ were vandalized a month apart at a Miami Shores church.
The first statue was vandalized on Aug. 29 at St. Martha’s Church. The second, located across the street at the parish office, was vandalized exactly a month later.
“Why the attacks on these statues exactly a month apart?” asked Mary Ross Agosta, the Director of Communications for the Archdiocese of Miami.
One statue was beheaded, while the other had its hand knocked off.

Amid Already ‘Catastrophic Shortages,’ Oregon Nurses Get Ready to Walk Over Forced COVID Vaccines
In August, Oregon Governor Kate Brown ordered all state employees and health care workers to get a Covid shot by October 18 or lose their jobs. Thinking she was done and dusted with the issue, the woman, who always has men with guns flanking her, couldn’t countenance anyone defying her.
Indeed, some of her own men with guns in the Oregon State Police troopers are suing Brown over forced vaccines. Brown apparently didn’t bank on lawsuits, sickouts, and blowback from real people who either don’t want, trust, or need the shot.
Worse, now she has exacerbated an already “historic and catastrophic” nursing shortage problem due in part to her tyrannical, illiberal orders.
Nurses have either walked out or been fired over Brown’s Covid shot mandate.

California Man Beaten to Death After Targeting Pedestrians With His Truck, Police Say
A Southern California man apparently attempting to crash into pedestrians was pulled from his truck and beaten to death, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department says.
The tumult began early Saturday morning when the man was asked to leave Rock It Sports Lounge and Grill in Hawthorne, a city of 90,000 people 15 miles south of Los Angeles, the Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.
The man left but soon returned, driving his truck onto the sidewalk and nearly striking several customers, the statement said. The driver then lost control of the truck and hit a tree.
“Surrounding patrons then attempted to take the driver out of his vehicle, but he accelerated and drove his truck into a nearby building,” the statement said. “Patrons again took the driver out of his vehicle, and a physical altercation ensued.”
Police then arrived on the scene.
“Hawthorne Police officers saw the driver lying on the ground, suffering what appeared to be blunt force trauma,” the statement said. “Paramedics provided life-saving measures, but he was pronounced deceased on scene.”

Central Florida Aerospace Workers Protest Federal COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate: Report
Federal, aerospace contractors of Central Florida are planning to protest Monday against the federal workers COVID-19 vaccine mandate, according to a report by Fox 35.
In September, President Joe Biden announced new vaccine requirements for federal workers, mandating employers with more than 100 workers to require their employees to get vaccinated or tested weekly for COVID-19. Biden also signed an executive order requiring members of the executive branch and contractors working with the federal government to receive the vaccine, allowing no option to test out.

Chicago Weekend Violence Left 3 Dead, 39 Shot; Mother With Young Kids Carjacked at Knifepoint
Chicago’s weekend crime saw at least 39 people wounded in shootings citywide. And as carjacking incidents continue to surge, one woman was held at knifepoint with her two young children present.
From 5 p.m. Friday evening until 5 a.m. Monday, at least three people were killed and another 39 people were wounded in shootings citywide, Fox 32 Chicago reported. Among those shot were five teenagers.

Days after an attorney general in Chicago refused to charge five men in a gang-related shooting that left one person dead, claiming that the individuals were engaged in “mutual combat,” Mayor Lori Lightfoot is asking for the federal government to step in and deal with the situation.
Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx refused to charge five men in connection with a gun fight in which one person died and two others were wounded. Foxx made her decision despite requests from police, who wanted felony charges for every suspect, including murder and aggravated battery.

DeSantis Columbus Day Proclamation Pushes Back Against Those Who ‘Defame’ The Explorer
Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., issued a Columbus Day proclamation Monday honoring the legacy of Christopher Columbus and claiming those who “defame” the Italian explorer are trying to portray the United States and Western culture negatively.

Driver Who Tried to Hit People With Vehicle is Attacked by Citizens and Dies
A motorist who drove onto a Southern California sidewalk Saturday outside a business that had just turned him away was attacked by customers and declared dead at the scene, authorities said.
His vehicle nearly hit several pedestrians, and when it came to a stop, customers pulled him out and “a physical altercation ensued,” the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.
The motorist, whose name was not released, crashed twice after driving onto the sidewalk, but no pedestrians were injured, the department said. His cause of death will be determined by the Los Angeles County coroner.

Federal Judge Rules Against Natural Immunity Claim Challenging COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate

A federal judge on Oct. 8 denied a request to block Michigan State University’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate on the basis of natural immunity.
An employee at the school, Jeanna Norris, filed a lawsuit against the mandate and asked a judge to intervene on the basis that she had already contracted COVID-19 and recovered. She presented two antibody tests showing her previous infection, and her doctors told her that she didn’t need to get the vaccine at this time.
Despite her natural immunity, Norris faces termination from the university for not complying with the school’s mandate that all students and staff get the shot unless they have a medical or religious exemption.
U.S. District Judge Paul Maloney, an appointee of former President George W. Bush, declined her lawsuit. The mandate, Maloney said, didn’t violate her fundamental rights and pointed to a 1905 Supreme Court ruling.

John Lott: Concealed Carry Licenses Jump 10.5% in 2020, 8.3% of Adults Now Have Carry Permits
Bad guys, listen up: John Lott has released a new report outlining the state of legal concealed carry in America. In it, he reveals a staggering 10.5% increase in carry licenses despite (because of?) COVID restrictions. Today, more than 8% of adult Americans have a license to carry a firearm. That number is 10% outside of restrictive, may-issue states.

Judge Orders Philadelphia to Remove Plywood Box Covering Columbus Statue

Common Pleas Court Judge Paula Patrick issued an order on Friday that Mayor Jim Kenney and the city of Philadelphia must remove the plywood box covering a statue of Christopher Columbus.
The 144-year-old statue was covered up due to protests that the explorer represents racial injustice and abuse. Other Columbus statues have been destroyed, including one in Baltimore. When asked about that destruction, Speaker Nancy Pelosi shrugged and said “people will do what they do.”

‘No Time to Die’ Tops Box Office With $56m: Why 007 Underperformed
To no one’s surprise, “No Time to Die,” the 25th entry in the James Bond series and the final feature with Daniel Craig as 007, was the top grossing film at the weekend U.S. box office. However, the film’s financial performance was weaker than many people anticipated.
What Happened: United Artists Releasing opened “No Time to Die” in 4,407 theaters and recorded $56 million in ticket sales. While that return would be respectable on its own terms, it was considerably lower than three of the four previous 007 epics with Craig as the lead: 2012’s “Skyfall” grossed $88.3 million in its first U.S. weekend in theaters, while 2015’s “Spectre” (the last 007 film prior to the new title) took in $70.4 million and 2008’s “Quantum of Solace” grossed $67.5 million.

University Suspends TPUSA Club for Criticizing Chinese Communist Party
Emerson College’s Turning Point USA chapter could be banned from campus after students reported them for handing out stickers critical of the Chinese Communist Party.
The sticker features a character from the popular video game Among Us with a hammer and sickle on its side and has a caption that reads “China kinda sus.”
“Sus” is an abbreviation for “suspicious” commonly used by gamers.
A number of students, organizations, and college officials have condemned Emerson TPUSA, claiming that the sticker promotes bigotry towards Asians.
William P. Gilligan, Emerson’s Interim President, called the stickers “disturbing” and claimed that they featured “anti-Chinese messaging inconsistent with the College’s values.” Per an email the president sent to Emerson’s student body September 30, an official investigation into the incident has been launched.

Wyoming Honor Student Arrested After Refusing to Wear a Mask on School Property
A Wyoming honor student and her father defied a school’s mask mandate to see how far officials would take it. Last week, the family discovered the staff were willing to call the cops and arrest her.
16-year-old Grace Smith is a junior at Laramie High School. On Thursday, police officers arrested her for what authorities said was trespassing.

New Brunswick Church Pastor Arrested, Church Ordered Closed for COVID Non-Compliance
After several days of harassment and the arrest of the associate pastor, His Tabernacle Family Church in Saint John was ordered shuttered by an order of the office of public safety under minister Dennis Landry. The church now faces fines of up to $20,400. The closure order locks the doors to the public until the church can be brought into compliance under section 3 of Preventative Measures — Public Health Act. Section 3 requires the church to enforce proof of vaccination to attend “indoor gatherings.” Section 15 of the Mandatory Order, also cited in the closure notice, requires the church to allow for police or public health officers to enter the premises to check for compliance.

Police Seize Picnic Tables From Calgary Pizza Shop Refusing to Enforce Vax Pass
Recently, Calgary chose to implement new bylaws mandating businesses to enforce vaccine passports. This has caused something of an uproar in Alberta.

Quebec Faces Nursing Shortage in Advance of Suspending Thousands of Unvaccinated Nurses
The Quebec Order of Nurses said it intends to suspend the nursing licences of those not fully vaccinated against COVID. The deadline to receive the first dose of a Health Canada-approved vaccine is October 15.

Austria: ‘Normal Marital Argument’: Muslim Tells Wife He’ll Behead Her if She Doesn’t Wear a Hijab
The German-language Exxpress reported Thursday that “a man of Turkish origin was sentenced today in Braunau to two years’ unconditional imprisonment for aggravated coercion. The Austrian citizen threatened to kill his wife if she refused to wear a headscarf.”
The man who issued this threat was in prison at the time: he is “serving a five-year prison sentence for aggravated assault.” But he was able to get his wife on the phone, and instead of spending his precious phone time telling her how much he missed her and assuring her that he would not run afoul of the law again, he told her: “If you don’t wear a headscarf from now on, I’ll break all your bones, kill you and cut your head off your body. I don’t care if I get 20 years for it.”

Germany could move closer to its green, emission-free future even faster than currently planned. The local German Environment Agency (UBA) calls on politicians to be more radical in their plans. According to the so-called European Green Deal, carbon emissions are to be reduced by 55 percent compared to 1990, but the agency is pushing for up to 70 percent. German industry should then move away from using coal as early as 2030. Environmentalists also propose very strict requirements for internal combustion engines or for meat and milk consumption, which they want to reduce radically, reports the German Der Spiegel.
According to the European Commission’s plan, European states have committed themselves to produce no net greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 or to separate economic growth from resource use. To combat global warming, the EU executive wants, among other things, to end the production of petrol and diesel cars, to charge for emissions from transport or heating buildings, and to increase the share of renewable sources in energy consumption.

Climate Activists Block Intersection Near Dutch Parliament
‘Citizens decide’: Climate protests near Dutch parliament
THE HAGUE, Netherlands (AP) — Hundreds of protesters from climate group Extinction Rebellion blocked a busy intersection Monday near the temporary home of the Netherlands’ parliament, marking the start of a week of protests the group plans in The Hague before a U.N. climate conference that opens on Oct. 31.
The demonstration started when protesters wheeled a yellow boat emblazoned with the Dutch words meaning “citizens decide” into the middle the road. Other protesters walked to another nearby intersection and began sitting or lying down in the road as police looked on.
Police later said they arrested more than 60 activists who ignored police orders to leave three different locations in the city, saying in a tweet they were causing a dangerous traffic situation.

The winner of the Friday and Saturday elections to the Chamber of Deputies is the SPOLU (Together) coalition, which consists of Civic Democrats (ODS), TOP 09, and Christian Democrats (KDU-CSL). Second place ended up being the ANO movement of Prime Minister Babis, which gained only six-tenths of a percent of the vote less. The coalition of Pirates and Mayors and Independents (STAN), also called PirSTAN, placed third, followed by Tomio Okamura’s Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD). On the other end of things, Social Democrats (CSSD) and the Communists (KSCM) are out of the Chamber of Deputies, and the leaders of both parties have resigned.
The SPOLU coalition gained 27.7 percent, the ANO movement 27.1 percent, the so-called PirSTAN coalition 15.6 percent, and the SPD 9.5 percent of the vote. The two coalitions will put together an absolute majority of 108 seats in the Chamber of Deputies.

Czech Elections: Victory of Right-Wing Parties is Good News for Poland

Professor Maciej Szymanowski, the director of the Waclaw Felczak Polish-Hungarian Cooperation Institute commented on the election results and explained what they will mean for Polish-Czech relations.

Czechia: ‘Total Fiasco,’ Says Former President Klaus About the Pirates Election Result
Former President Vaclav Klaus is pleased with the failure of the Pirates in the elections to the Chamber of Deputies. In a discussion on CNN Prima News, he described their result as a fiasco. The coalition of Pirates and Mayors and Independents (STAN) won a total of 15.62 percent of the vote, but voters used preferential voting to help the candidates of the Mayors, and the Pirates thus won only four seats.
According to Klaus, the Pirates’ result is positive. “They are the ones who lost the most in the election. The voters showed a certain sense of understanding and did not succumb to the Pirates. Pre-election coalitions should not be formed,” added Klaus. However, another pre-election coalition, Spolu (ODS, KDU-CSL, and TOP 09), won the election.

On Friday, he said he was endorsing the conservative Peter Marki-Zay, a provincial city mayor, in the runoff round that starts on Sunday and will run through October 16. Hungary’s famously bickering opposition this year for the first time organised a primary election to decide who will take on the nationalist Orban and his Fidesz party in a general poll expected in April 2022.

Hungary Joins in Imposing Global Corporate Tax
One of the last countries to do so, Hungary announced on Friday that it will join almost 140 countries in application of the 15% minimum global corporate tax rate proposed by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
Hungary — along with another European Union member state, Ireland — was among the last hesitants, but eventually it agreed to the tax after bargaining a ten-year transition period.
“We have managed to make a breakthrough on the issue of the global minimum tax agreement, so Hungary can join in the matter with a good heart,” Finance Minister Mihaly Varga announced on Friday.

Italy: 2 Priests Cleared of ‘Pope’s Choirboys’ Abuse
Judges not liable for some charges, other charges timed out
(ANSA) — ROME, OCT 6 — A Vatican court on Wednesday acquitted two clerics of sexually abusing preseminarians known as ‘the pope’s choirboys’.
Prosecutors had asked for a six-year jail term for Father Gabriele Martinelli and a four-year term for Father Enrico Radice.
They were cleared of some charges, and adjudged not liable for others, while the statute of limitations timed out still other charges, the court said.
Prosecutors may appeal the verdict.

Italy: Calls for Forza Nuova to be Banned After Green Pass Protest Violence
Senior figures of far-right party among 12 people arrested
(ANSA) — ROME, OCT 11 — Calls for Forza Nuova to be banned continued on Monday after members of the far-right party, including leader Roberto Fiore, were among 12 people arrested in relation to violence that broke at a protest in Rome on Saturday against the Green Pass COVID-19 vaccine passport.
Police had to use tear gas and water cannons during the demonstration and the shocking scenes included a raid in which the headquarters of trade-union confederation CGIL were ransacked.
“Forza Nuova must be urgently dissolved on the basis of the Constitution and the Scelba and Mancino laws (against Fascism),” said Valeria Fedeli, a Senator for the centre-left Democratic Party (PD) and a former education minister.
“The PD is going to present a motion in the Senate in the next few days requesting that this be scheduled and voted on as soon a possible.
“The events of last Saturday, with the squadrista attack on the CGIL’s national headquarters coordinated and carried out by representatives of a Neo-Fascist organization like Forza Nuova, take us back to the darkest and most dramatic moments of our history and they are an extremely serious and unacceptable attack on democracy”.
After the demonstration a group of around 30 protestors raided the emergency room of Rome’s Umberto I hospital, where one of the participants had been taken.
Four people were injured, two police officers and two health workers, including a nurse who was hit with a bottle in the head, said Lazio Health Chief Alessio D’Amato.
Police have identified around 600 people who took part in the violent protests after studying video footage.
Dozens of officers were hurt.
PD President Valentina Cuppi, meanwhile, has launched a petition via Change.org calling for all of Italy’s far-right parties to be banned.
“It is time to say no more Fascist, squadrista violence,” said Cuppi, who is also the mayor of Marzabotto, a town near Bologna where hundreds of civilians were murdered in a Nazi atrocity in World War II.
Cuppi named Forza Nuova, CasaPound, Lealtà Azione, and Fiamma Tricolore among the parties she thinks should be banned.
Forza Nuova, however, remained unapologetic after the rioting.
“The popular revolution will not stop its path, with or without us, until the Green Pass if definitively withdrawn,” a statement read.
“Saturday was a watershed between the old and the new.
“The people decided to raise the level of the clash”.
The Green Pass, which shows that a person is vaccinated for COVID-19, has recovered from it or has tested negative in the last few days, will be obligatory for all Italian workplaces as of Friday.

Law and Justice (PiS) MEP professor Ryszard Legutko recently commented on statements made by EU institution representatives concerning the Polish Constitutional Tribunal’s ruling that the constitution is the highest legal authority in Poland.
“These comments by the EU show the growing brutality of European politicians and institutions, especially since the Tribunal’s ruling was hardly a surprise. It was an affirmation of similar rulings from previous years,” he said.

UK: A Quarter of Football League Players Say They Won’t Get Vaccinated
At least a quarter of Football League players say they will refuse to take the COVID-19 vaccine, with authorities concerned that the number of players getting the jab has slowed drastically over the last month.
Although the number of players to have been double jabbed has increased from 18% in August to 49% in the latest set of figures, that number appears to have hit a brick wall.

Namaz is Related to Jihad and Islamic Controversy Over Namaz in Gurugram Public Place
Hindu-Sikh residents in Gurugram perform ‘aarti’ during ‘namaz’ amid police deployment.
Sumedha Singh | HENB | New Delhi | Oct 9, 2021:: A fresh controversy has erupted over offering of ‘namaz’ on public space after members of Hindu organisations and residents of Gurugram Sector-47, including women, reached a community namaz site (open ground) and raised slogans as well as performed ‘aarti’ during Friday prayers.
However, prayers were offered at the site in Sector-47 amid heavy police deployment.
Though the situation remained peaceful, a group of 50-70 residents from nearby sectors and members of a Hindu group arrived at the time of namaz to voice their opposition to prayers being offered in an open space, citing “security” and “traffic” concerns.
At 12.30 p.m. the members of a Hindu organisation and sector-47 residents reached the community namaz site here.
Mohammad Tahir, who works at a carpenter’s shop, said he had been coming to the site for more than two years but had witnessed objections only during the last two-three weeks.
“Only for the past two-three weeks, some people come here and disrupt prayers and asked us to vacate the area. We are all wearing masks, following Covid-19 norms and praying in peace,” Tahir added.
The statement of Tahir is false as the local non-Muslims residents have been objecting the Namaz in Public places creating various nuisance since August this year when there was a heavy agitation by the Hindu people in sector — 22 in Dwarka against a Haj house within a Hindu area+.
In Delhi, Muslims are trying to encroach public places to open new Mosques, prayer places and grave yards with the convenience of Wakf Board, as reported.
“This land comes under the control of state government. As the residents here we object to anyone practising their faith on the roads and disrupt traffic movement. There is a security threat for all residents as Namaz is related to Land Jihad and Islamic Terrorism,” said a sector-47 resident.
The residents said those who had gathered to oppose namaz claimed that the sites designated in May 2018 by the district administration were for only a specific period. But, the Muslims used the place for Namaz since then illegally.

Sri Lanka Indicts ISIS “Mastermind” Over 2019 Easter Sunday Bombings

Sri Lankan prosecutors Monday indicted the alleged mastermind of the 2019 Easter Sunday suicide bombings along with 24 men they say were co-conspirators in the island’s worst single terror attack.
Almost three hundred people including dozens of foreign nationals were killed in the April 21 attacks on three churches and three luxury hotels, in a wave of killings targeting Sri Lanka’s Christian community.
Prosecutors have brought over 20,000 charges against the suspects, three of whom have already been accused of terrorism by the US Justice Department.

Chinese Government Ordered ‘Significant’ Number of COVID Tests Months Before Pandemic Declared
The Chinese government ordered “significant” quantities of coronavirus testing kits in the months ahead of the COVID-19 pandemic in Wuhan, raising speculation that China may have been aware of the virus before the situation got out of hand in Wuhan.
“There was a buy-up of coronavirus testing equipment in Wuhan in 2019, with purchasing contracts increasing by more than 50 per cent from the year before,” The Australian reported. “Official Chinese government procurement data shows the buy-up of PCR equipment began in July 2019. Reignite Democracy Australia Joins Forces With the United Australia Party
Reignite Democracy Australia’s Vice President Monica Smit has unveiled a ‘Stronger Together’ collaboration with the United Australia Party under the leadership of Craig Kelly.
“Everything that I and RDA do, is for the overall benefit of the country, not ourselves. With that in mind, we have decided to back and work closely with United Australia Party. The RDA Party, which has already made national news and headway, has decided to join UAP.
“With the lobbying capabilities of the RDA Family and the support and expertise of Craig Kelly and Clive Palmer, I believe our vision of a strong, free and independent Australia is inevitable,” said Smit’s statement published on the party’s website.
“RDA, as an organisation, will fully support UAP, however, we will still have the flexibility to support good candidates from other parties if we want.”
The United Australia Party intends to run candidates in every seat for the upcoming Federal election and, with the backing of Clive Palmer, has the finances required to rattle both major parties.
Smit recently spent 22 days in solitary confinement waiting for an appeal against her bail conditions to be resolved in the Supreme Court. She was dramatically arrested during a livestream and charged with incitement related to several anti-lockdown protests in Melbourne along with three counts of failing to follow the Chief Health Officer’s directions.

Victorian School Principal Suspended for Teaching Kids in Lockdown
Independent Fitzroy Community School principal Timothy Berryman has been temporarily suspended after breaking Covid lockdown health orders.
The suspension issued by the Victorian Institute of Teaching is believed to have come into effect on Wednesday after Berryman allowed students at his school to continue attending classes during the Melbourne lockdown. Greeks Strengthen Border Wall Guard to Fight Afghan Migrant Crisis
THESSALONIKI, Greece (AP) — Greece will increase the number of border guards on the country’s border with Turkey, fearing a spike in illegal migration linked to the crisis in Afghanistan, officials said Monday.
An additional 250 officers will join the 1,500-strong border force over several months, with the number rising from around 1,000 early last year. About 800 extra border guard personnel will also be hired to staff airports and regions close to the Greek-Turkish border.

Migrant Crisis Flashpoint: Iraq Suspends All Flights to Belarus
Iraq’s authorities have suspended all flights from Iraq to Belarus. Only return flights from Belarus will now be realized for Iraqi citizens.
The Iraq Civil Aviation Authority canceled the flights due to hordes of Iraqi citizens flying to Belarus to try to reach Western Europe based on tourist visas issued by Minsk. Iraqi Airways and Qatar Airways are the main two airlines whose flights are to be suspended. In the case of Iraqi Airways, all the flights in the upcoming days have been booked. The EU Should Pay for a Fence Against Migrants, Says Czechia and Other Countries
Poland, Lithuania, and ten other countries in the eastern wing of the European Union, including the Czech Republic, are demanding that the European bloc facilitate the construction of border barriers to prevent migrants from entering. The letter was addressed to the European Commission before the Friday meeting of EU interior ministers in response to the onslaught of refugees who were transported to the Polish and Lithuanian borders by the Belarusian regime of Alexander Lukashenko. According to the call signed by the interior ministers, the EU should finance the construction of barriers from a joint budget.
Poland and Lithuania have begun to build barriers on their borders since the Belarusian authorities began sending thousands of refugees over there this summer onwards. Due to this, a state of emergency has been in force at the Polish border since the beginning of September, and Poland is preparing to build more fences. Lukashenko is using the refugees in retaliation for sanctions imposed by the EU.

Ministers today insisted France will get £54million of funding for the Channel migrant operation — blaming ‘administrative’ issues for the delay.
Despite Priti Patel threatening to withhold the money unless Paris stepped up efforts to limit the flow, security minister Damian Hinds said it will be paid ‘in the coming weeks.
He denied there was any ‘political question’ over paying the cash, insisting the ‘administrative process’ had just taken time to work through.

British University Fights Back Against Trans Activist Threats Against Professor
Pro-transgender activists at Sussex University have launched a campaign to demand the University fire a professor for questioning their views. The students claim that Prof. Kathleen Stock is guilty of “transphobia.”
The Telegraph reports that the student activists erected numerous posters around campus calling on the university to fire Stock, an expert in analytic philosophy. Stock has previously questioned the idea that men that feel like women should have automatic access to women’s facilities, like women’s bathrooms, or be allowed to appear on shortlists designed for women or participate in girls’ sports teams.

California Orders Big Box Stores to Create ‘Gender-Neutral’ Section for Kids Products
The Golden State has long burnished its reputation as the most “progressive” (at least when it comes to superficial posturing) state in the union by adopting ultra-strict emissions standards and gas taxes (which is why Californians pay $6 a gallon right now), offering official protection to sanctuary cities, and a host of other measures, including — most recently — outlawing bacon with some new ‘animal welfare’ law.
Meanwhile, homelessness and inequality are soaring in Cali as businesses and residents (most recently Tesla and Elon Musk) have fled for the exits, flocking to places like Texas and Florida.
Yet once again, Gov Gavin Newsom demonstrated Saturday just how out of touch the state’s leadership is when he signed into law one of the most ridiculous examples of government overreach in support of enforcing the “woke” agenda that we have ever seen. From here on out, any store in California with more than 500 employees (which essentially means all the big-box stores) are legally required to establish “gender-neutral” sections for a small range of products (essentially just toys and hygiene products).

Google is testing new ways to showcase breaking news and live events.
Google Search began displaying links to news sites at the top of search results for live and newsy events such as the recent Senate debate on the debt limit. Now, according to The Information, the company plans to showcase more relevant data and features on breaking news topics, such as natural disasters, big-ticket sports games, and awards shows.

The Danish toy giant Lego is committing to the removal of “gender stereotypes” in their merchandise line-up, as new data shows how much more boys are afraid of being made fun of for playing with girls’ toys, and not vice versa.
According to The Guardian, the conclusion of a recent survey is that since 71 percent of boys were afraid of playing with girls’ toys, they were missing out on having “confidence” to participate in more activities in comparison.

Eric Clapton has been a rock legend for longer than I have been alive. He’s an icon in the music industry who has earned respect and admiration from millions over his career. But he’s been making headlines this year for other reasons.
Since having a severe negative reaction to the AstraZeneca vaccine earlier this year, he’s become an outspoken opponent of the COVID vaccines. He has promised not to perform in venues with vaccine mandates, collaborated with Van Morrison on some anti-vaccine/anti-lockdowns songs, and even bankrolled an anti-vaccine rock group.
