I disagree that Trump preferred to procrastinate. If I recall correctly, the elites within the uniparty wouldn’t allow the withdrawal of the forces from Afghanistan and vilified him over daring to suggest such a thing. As for the Kenyan Candidate, he had a visceral reaction to anything military or masculine, but he also was a willing tool of the elites and offering his backside for servicing by them was as natural to him as offering his backside for servicing.
Melonis’s statement about unpredictable geopolitical consequences following the disastrous withdrawal should qualify for understatement of the year.
I know someone very well in Italy who knows Salvini and Meloni very well. I rarely hear good things about them personally. If I just took news at face value I would have thought them both the saviours of Italy.
However, Salvini new what the result would be of him taking on the Roman lot without waiting to increase his following in Italy. It would appear that they are just another part of the uniparty that are set up as controlled opposition.
The weakness can be seen in Meloni’s statement. She said not a single word about stopping these animals from getting to Italy and/or removing them from the public teat to save the taxpayer.
Despicable stuff. I prefer the in your face disgrace than the smarmy wine and party loving fraud who has no intention of carrying out a single promise they make to the electorate.
