Biden Can’t Budge Manchin on Budget-Busting Infrastructure Bill

Presidentish Joe Biden’s multitrillion-dollar so-called infrastructure bill is supposed to be his signature achievement and a boon to Democrat lobby groups for years to come — so why can’t he budge Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) into voting for it?

Earlier this week I reported to you that Dems are desperate to get this bill passed, so much so that they were willing to back down a bit on their treasured tax hikes — because of Manchin’s opposition.

On Wednesday, Biden brought Manchin to the Oval Officefor a little presidential arm-twisting.

According to Axios, the meeting did not go well… for Biden.

Hans Nichols reports that Biden “failed to persuade” Manchin to vote for his spending orgy.

Muslim ER Doctor Charged With Female Genital Mutilation of Nine Girls Aged Just Seven ‘Was Part of Secret Network Which Traveled Across US to Perform Agonizing Procedure, ‘ Detroit Court Hears

A Muslim doctor on trial for allegedly performing genital mutilation on nine girls, all seven years-old, was also part of a secret network of physicians who traveled across the country performing the brutal procedure, according to federal prosecutors.

Dr. Jumana Nagarwala was cleared of female genital mutilation charges in November 2018 during the nation’s first-of-its-kind case, when a federal judge ruled that a law banning the practice was unconstitutional.

But the Michigan doctor still faces an obstruction charge for allegedly hiding information during the trial, and was back in court Thursday. That saw prosecutors reveal that doctors in California and Illinois were also cutting young girls as part of a religious rite in the esoteric Indian Muslim sect, Dawoodi Bohras, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Maria Castillo was the last of 19 people to give statements during the hours-long sentencing hearing Friday afternoon. Many of them spoke about ongoing nightmares, lack of sleep and fear of typically mundane noises such as doors slamming or fireworks going off…

Caroline Glick: Why Oslo Still Rules

In an interview shortly before his death in the summer of 2001, Faisal Husseini, who held the Palestinian Authority’s Jerusalem portfolio, gave an interview where he exposed the fraud at the heart of the Oslo process. Speaking with Al Araby newspaper, Husseini said that Yassir Arafat, his deputies and henchmen never saw the “peace process” as a way of achieving peace with Israel. Oslo for them was a means to advance their goal of destroying Israel, “from the river to the sea.”

Husseini described the Oslo process as a “Trojan Horse.” Arafat and his people were the hostile army that infiltrated the city “in the belly of the wooden horse.” When Arafat rejected Palestinian statehood and peace at the Camp David summit in July 2000 and initiated the Palestinian terror war two months later, it was as if he and his men exited the horse and began the fight.

“This is the beginning of the real work,” Husseini explained.

The PLO used the seven years that preceded the Palestinian terror war to build up their power. Arafat held “peace” talks and Israel paid through the nose for the privilege of sitting across the table from him and his apparatchiks. Israel gave them the Gaza Strip. Israel gave them the Palestinian cities and villages in Judea and Samaria. Israel gave them weapons and ammunition. Israel gave them international legitimacy. Israel — and with Israel’s permission, the nations of the world — gave PLO terrorists billions of dollars every year. Israel permitted the EU and the CIA to arm and train Arafat’s terror legions.

Arafat promised that in exchange for all that, he would fight terror and build the institutions necessary to run a state. Instead, he and his minions transformed the cities Israel gave them into terror bases. They used the funds to finance terror armies. They used the international legitimacy Israel’s recognition conferred to escalate and expand their political war against Israel’s right to exist…

Afghanistan: US Admits Kabul Drone Strike Killed Civilians

The US has admitted that a drone strike in Kabul days before its military pullout killed 10 innocent people.

A US Central Command investigation found that an aid worker and nine members of his family, including seven children, died in the 29 August strike.

The youngest child, Sumaya, was just two years old.

The deadly strike happened days after a terror attack at Kabul airport, amid a frenzied evacuation effort following the Taliban’s sudden return to power.

Americans Still Stranded in Afghanistan as Flights From Mazar-I-Sharif Continue to be Grounded

Following the hasty withdrawal from Afghanistan of US forces, few Americans have been able to leave Afghanistan, with the Taliban’s cooperation with US leadership appears to wan.

State Department spokesman Ned Price told reporters on Wednesday that the State Department has “pulled every lever available” to get Americans out of Afghanistan, but the Taliban are still grounding flights out of the Mazar-i-Sharif airport.

Biden Slammed in Song About Botched Afghanistan Withdrawal

Five Times August, who has released a number of songs slamming both the Biden administration and current woke society over the last few months, released a new song on Sept. 10, this time taking aim at the recent botched withdrawal from Afghanistan and President Joe Biden’s moments of forgetfulness.

The song, titled simply “Joe,” talks about the 13 US service members killed in a suicide bombing in Kabul last month, as well the countless times Biden has been caught being forgetful and turning his back on questioning reporters.

The moments are in juxtaposition with a statement similar to the one Vice President Kamala Harris told Biden when the results of the election were in: “Hey Joe, we did it.” Imagery of the Taliban are interspersed with images and clips of Biden looking lost, as well as images of all 13 killed in Kabul.

Some of the song’s lyrics are as follows:

Now there ain’t no mommy and there ain’t no dad
‘Cause you wrapped them up in the American flag
13 kids, but you stopped a war
And there ain’t no sense in going back for more
‘Cause hey Joe, we did it, 81 million votes!
Hey Joe
Where you going? Why you moving so slow?
They’ll prop you up for the TV screen
But forget your job, what flavor ice cream is that?
And hey Joe
Where you going? Do you even know?
C’mon on man, not a joke
Here’s the deal, the country’s broke

“This is Illegal” — Republican Senator Blasts FAA Decision to Ground Drones Filming Texas Bridge Border Chaos

Update (1100ET): Republican South Carolina Sen. John Kennedy said Friday that the FAA’s grounding of all drones near that Texas bridge is fulfilling the Biden administration’s goal to hide the “lunacy” of its “open border” policy.

“I believe that the reason that they’re limiting drone usage is because they don’t want the American public to know, and I think this is illegal,” Kennedy told “Fox & Friends.”

“I’m sure that some are people who want to come to America for a better life. That’s fine. I’m proud of that, but that’s why we have a legal immigration system,” Kennedy continued, claiming that many of the migrants trying to enter the U.S. are criminals, child predators, drug dealers and terrorists.

“The idea of saying that anybody who wants to come in can come in is lunacyand the American people don’t support it, which is why I think the Biden administration is preventing the usage of the drones.”

The senator insisted “we now have an open border policy … The nut jobs are in charge in the Biden administration.”

Biden Admin Banned Drones From Showing Border Crisis in Texas, So Local Law Enforcement Provides Helicopter

Following the Federal Aviation Administration’s temporary restriction placed in Del Rio, Texas, grounding drones from Fox News, the news outlet continued gathering footage from the area, this time by helicopter.

“We reported earlier that the FAA grounded our Fox News drones, we cannot fly those. Well, the troopers with Texas BPS are kind enough to let us go up in their helicopter with them to get a look at the situation at this bridge right now,” said Fox News national correspondent Bill Melugin, who has been reporting on the ongoing situation in Del Rio. “This time two days ago, there were just over 4000 people. There are now upwards of 11,000. We’re talking nearly a tripling of the numbers in just 48 hours or so,” Melugin continued.

Gov. Dan Patrick and State Sen. Jane Nelson, R-Flower Mound, and Rep. Greg Bonnen, R-Friendswood, the bill’s authors.

EU Parliament Says Taking in Afghans a Matter of ‘Moral Responsibility’

While several member states of the European Union have already or are in the process of closing their borders to illegal migrants, on Thursday the European Parliament adopted a resolution saying that taking in migrants from Afghanistan is a “moral responsibility”.

On Thursday afternoon, the European Parliament adopted by a large majority (536 votes in favor, 96 against, and 50 abstentions) a resolution on Afghanistan with the following statement:

“Afghans have a fundamental right to seek asylum in other countries, so coordinated evacuation operations must continue as soon as possible. According to the EP, deportations to Afghanistan must be suspended.”

Greece Tightens Its Border With Turkey Amid ‘Tough But Fair Migration Policy’

The river Evros forms the land border between Greece and Turkey. The waters of this river and its tributaries have made the Evros region one of the most fertile in Greece. Here, on both sides of one of Europe’s most controversial external borders, rolling green hills lined with small deciduous forests stretch as far as the eye can see.

“Refugees have been passing through here for as long as I can remember,” says local farmer Fotis Chantzis. While migrants cross the region on their way to western Europe, many locals have turned their back on Evros in recent decades.

Thirty-six-year-old Chantzis is one of the few people who have decided to stay. “This is Greece’s most neglected region,” he says. Despite the fact that conditions for crop cultivation in the region are ideal, the locals face economic hardship. “We had a sugar factory that was really important for the people here, and they closed it down,” says Chantzis.

Global competition also makes it difficult for farmers here to make ends meet. But despite the many problems the people of Evros face, the central government in Athens is interested in one thing above all else: making the border impassable for refugees — even after the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan.

Greek MEP: Only the Visegrad Four Countries Conduct Good Migration Policy

The current actions taken by the European Commission when it comes to migration policy do not consider the good of Greek citizens, according to Greek MEP Emmanouil Fragkos, who is a member of the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR),

He explained in an interview for Polish Catholic Radio Maryja that it is impossible for Greece to give asylum to every illegal migrant and permit them to reside on Greek and European soil.

The MEP emphasized that his country’s Left government has been inefficiently combating illegal migration and is not assertive when it comes to dealing with the European Commission.

Media Outlet Files Lawsuit to Challenge FAA Ban on Drone Footage at Texas Border

A media outlet has filed a lawsuit in response to the Biden administration’s attempt to censor coverage of the 10,000-plus strong Haitian migrant army amassing under the Del Rio International Bridge by banning drones from flying over the area.

After Fox News, Infowars and other media outlets captured shocking footage of the huge mass of migrants, the FAA issued new flight restrictions banning the flight of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), a clear attempt to help the White House cover-up what’s really going on and control the narrative.

The lawsuit, filed by Free Speech Systems, argues that the federal government’s shut down of drone coverage “serves no other purpose than to hamper the efforts of the press in covering the unfolding crisis, in violation of Free Speech Systems’ First Amendment rights and should not stand.”

North Dakota: Somali Refugee Charged With Murder of Young Mother

Such a sick, sick story on many fronts.

North Dakota has been roiled with refugee tensions over the years as I reported extensively at my other blog, Refugee Resettlement Watch.

I visited the state in 2016 to get a feeling for the situation there mostly a result of Minnesota Somalis spilling across the border into the state, but some refugees have been directly placed there by a Lutheran resettlement agency.

And, as you read this news, keep in the back of your mind that Biden will this month be making the decision on the refugee ceiling for the new fiscal year that begins on October first. Among the 125,000 he has so far indicated would be arriving, thousands of Somalis will be among them.

But, that isn’t all.

The refugee industry is pushing for the number to be 200,000. Those tens of thousands of Afghan evacuees beginning to arrive may end up being in addition to 200,000 from Asia, Africa, and the Middle East—all will be needy people looking for the generosity of the US taxpayer!

Here is the bare bones news story from Valley News Live:

Poland’s, Lithuania’s PMs to Discuss Higher Security, Migration

WARSAW, Poland (AP) — The prime ministers of Poland and Lithuania said Friday that tighter security at their borders with Belarus was the best way to ease pressure from migrant inflows there, as they expect what they called a “hybrid attack” from Belarus to continue.

Poland’s Mateusz Morawiecki and Lithuania’s Ingrida Simonyte also said stronger bilateral cooperation, including in business, and infrastructure, would help against hostile pressure on the European Union’s eastern border.

Morawiecki and Simonyte, as well as their government members, discussed ways of preventing illegal migration and enhancing border security.

UK: Boats a Distraction? Visa Overstayer Illegal Migrants Estimated at 64,000 a Year

Illegal migrants who make it into Britain by obtaining legitimate visas and then not leaving are estimated at 64,000 a year, dwarfing the headline-grabbing boat migrant influx.

The ever-increasing number of illegal migrants crossing the English Channel on small boats — despite the Tories having first declared the crossings a “major incident” and promised to bring it under control in 2018 — is now the only migration-related issue to receive serious attention from British politicians.

Under 20 Percent of Non-European Illegals Obey Deportation Orders

Fewer than one in five illegal aliens from outside Europe obey legal orders to leave the European Union, according to a new report.

The European Court of Auditors conducted a review of data collected for more than a decade and found that just 19% of non-European ‘irregular migrants’ facing deportation orders actually leave or are removed.

“The inefficiencies of the EU returns system act as an incentive for irregular migration,” the report states. “Since 2008, an average of around 500 000 foreign nationals per year have been ordered to leave the EU because they had entered it, or were staying, without authorisation.”

PinePage is a New Patreon Alternative Committed to Free Speech

Patreon may not have the financial and user-base clout to be an actual member of Big Tech, but this probably currently best-known and widely used by creators platform is fully aligned, policy-wise, with the tech and business behemoths that are pulling the strings on the internet.

This means that over the years Patreon has engaged in numerous acts of deplatforming, leaving the victims of this policy fully aware that this is yet another platform in desperate need of viable alternatives.

  1. Phew. It’s always a tough read going all through these incredibly disheartening? (Or truly gutting) stories, reports, & bulletins.
Baron…, much respect and admiration to you man. I always feel as though Ive been attacked by one of them Antiefarr mobs & slapped violently around the head with a very large type of fish! Battered & then re-battered.
How you do this, day in day out, and for untold many years, well… I mean, it’d surely do a lot of peoples heads in wouldn’t it. I’m only just taking this stuff in! and haven’t been at it for anything close to very long. And already I feel I just can’t live as I did not so long ago. Not going anywhere now though. Cannot now turn my back, stop thinking and live a life, or some sort of such thing. Ahh, No! Read too much, seen too much now already.. Ohhh boy.

Apart from all that, there’s always a huge social, legal, political & especially economic price to pay. Anyone who’d take this on, for nothing other than the Love for; & the deep concerns for ones people, nation, & culture. What a sacrifice! I don’t see it any less than giving your life. Not so long ago All members of a community were expected & were all too willing to die to protect & save their own.
There are those that just DO IT. Day after day year after year. Anyone who’s prepared to do that, & keep doing that deserve so much appreciation & all your/our/my support. And then some.

    Thanks.
