Gates of Vienna News Feed 8/7/2021

Last week the media reported about former President Obama’s upcoming birthday party in Martha’s Vineyard, with 600 guests being invited to the event in an area that was experiencing a surge in cases of the delta variant of the Wuhan Coronavirus. Embarrassed by the reports, the former president scaled back the guest list to 500. The party took place today in a huge tent, and photos showed that guests were maskless. There’s no indication that they had been required to show vaccine passports to join the festivities. The CDC has not released any information about the occasion being a possible superspreader event.

In other news, dozens of wildfires continue to ravage Greek forests. Police suspect arson may have been the cause of at least some of the blazes.

Anti-Maskers Protest Governor’s Mandate

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Around 150 protestors gathered outside of Memorial Elementary School on Friday, August 6 to protest the new school mask mandates that Governor Phil Murphy was set to announce. While there were initially no plans for a statewide mask mandate, rising COVID-19 cases across the country have led the government to change course. New Jersey will now require that students in grades K-12 wear masks at the beginning of the school year.

Chanting slogans like “We do not consent!” and “My child, my choice”, anti-mask protesters were crowded outside the school holding signs and decrying the governor’s decision to reinstate masking requirements at schools. Protestors arrived from around the state, wearing shirts and carrying signs indicating support for conservative agendas and groups.

AZ Sen Leader Gives Audit Subpoena Timetable, Predicts AG Will Hammer Maricopa County Election Officials

Arizona Senate Majority Whip Sonny Borrelli believes state Attorney General Mark Brnovich will act quickly on the lawmaker’s request to investigate Maricopa County’s noncompliance with election audit subpoenas.

In a Tuesday filing to the attorney general’s office, Borrelli cited multiple state statutes the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors has violated by failing to supply the materials sought in a July 26 subpoena issued by Arizona Senate President Karen Fann and Senate Judiciary Chair Warren Petersen.

Among other items, the subpoena sought access to the routers used during the November general election and the passwords for the Dominion Voting Systems ballot tabulation devices.

Florida Will Give Vouchers to Parents, Let Them Send Kids to Private Schools if They Oppose Public School Mask Mandates

The Florida Board of Education determined today that it will provide private school vouchers to parents of students who believe face mask requirements amount to undue “harassment” of children.

Many schools in the United States are still requiring face masks to be worn by students, with only rare breaks, despite science suggesting that children not only are highly unlikely to contract COVID and experience serious symptoms, but that they are also highly unlikely to transmit COVID to adults. Parents in Florida, which has become a symbol of resistance to unscientific COVID-19 policies, will now have the option to take their tax dollars to the private sector with a new voucher program that will allow children to attend private schools that do not require face masks.

Police: Man Dead After Standoff, Shooting With Officers in Coeur D’alene

Aug. 7—A task force is investigating the death of a man shot at by a Coeur d’Alene police officer in a standoff at the man’s Carrington Lane residence, according to the Coeur d’Alene Police Department.

Officers responded Friday to Hayden McIlvain’s residence after police said he violated a no-contact order of protection by making threatening comments to a Coeur d’Alene family while in possession of multiple weapons. Members of the family include minor children.

McIlvain had “repeated unwanted and threatening contact” with the family over the past year, resulting in several criminal reports, including stalking and witness intimidation, officers said. McIlvain violated the resulting no-contact order on several occasions, prompting additional criminal charges, according to the police department.

On Friday, authorities said Coeur d’Alene police officers responded to the family’s residence and ensured the residents went to a safe location.

Securing a warrant for first-degree stalking, officers responded to McIlvain’s residence and attempted for several hours to take him into custody without force, according to the police department. Police said McIlvain did not comply, barricading himself inside his house and making several statements about “shooting it out” with officers. SWAT officers from multiple agencies responded to Carrington Lane.

Police said it was reported “at some point” that a shot was fired from inside the residence toward the surrounding officers. One Coeur d’Alene police officer fired one shot at McIlvain, police said.

McIlvain was later found dead inside his home, according to the police department.

Vaccine Passports Are a Privacy Nightmare

New York City’s announcement of a vaccine passport mandate rekindled the complicated debate on online privacy. Vaccine passports will increase digital surveillance.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that businesses will soon be required to demand proof of at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccines before allowing in a customer. The requirement will be enforced from September 13.

The announcement rekindled the debate about online privacy. Vaccine passports use digital systems and mobile apps, making them hackable and leakable and the major concern being the apps being abused for digital surveillance through tracking.

Despite the privacy concerns, governments and local authorities all around the globe have been gradually adopting vaccine passports, totally ignoring the civil liberties implications. New York will be the first city in the US to implement a vaccine passport mandate. Soon, other cities or jurisdictions might follow suit.

US Military Claims Evidence Shows Iran Behind Drone Attack on Israel-Linked Tanker

The G7 and the US military has blamed Iran for last week’s attack on an Israel-linked oil tanker in the Arabian Sea, citing ‘clear evidence.’

Foreign ministers of the Group of Seven (G7) and the US military, on Friday, blamed Iran for last week’s attack on an Israel-linked oil tanker in the Arabian Sea that led to the death of a UK based security guard and a Romanian.

Mercer Street, the Liberian flagged oil tanker linked to Israel was targetted with a UAV explosive drone on July 29, as confirmed by the US Navy. Mercer Street’s UK-based ship management firm, registered in Liberia, said that the M/T Mercer Street erupted in blazes in one of the world’s key trade routes off Oman. Roughly a third of the world’s oil supply passes through the route.

“This was a deliberate and targeted attack and a clear violation of international law. All available evidence clearly points to Iran. There is no justification for this attack,” G7 foreign ministers and the US Army said in a joint statement on Friday. The leaders stressed that cargo vessels and oil tankers must be allowed to “navigate freely in accordance with international law” without any threat of violence.

Despite only deporting just 9.8 per cent of illegal aliens, the cost of deportations amounted to €4.68 million (£3.97m/$5.52m). So far in 2021, the figure has remained high at €2,089,000 (£1.77m/$2.47m) for just 1,097 deportations.

    • I doubt it. Women now have a phoney masculine identity that is not fit for purpose.

  1. “Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has said the party must be “proud” of Tony Blair’s “record in government”, and no longer keep the Iraq War architect’s legacy at “arm’s length”.

Blairs Labour Government has been revealed as a Marxist organisation.

  2. The cause of all these fires is arson.
The Greeks are undisciplined and they must pay.
We know who is behind all these, and use the immigrants, the usual enemy and a european country. We will survive and we will plant trees on our mountains and we will make green the island of Evoea again, the most beautiful and the nearest in Attica island, which now is burned.
A few days ago i wrote about Malakasa, all these north of Athens small villages(full of orks) are on fire.
Two days ago a woman who was arrested in the Aries park,in the center of Athens she said that she was an Afgani, but the police fount out that she was a Turk.
Thanks God she did not had the chance to put fire to central Athens.
We have to face a hard winter, financially ruined and some of us without housing, but it is not so for the orks.
We wait for political troubles. The nationalism is getting strong,,Turkey is ready to ivade the free south part of Cyprus, both PM in Greece and Cyprus are absolutely useless, idiots and traitors.

  3. If anyone doubts that the Antifa monsters are servants of Satan, please watch these videos that were taken at a Christian prayer event in Portland for Pastor Artur.

Look and listen the sounds they make- they are devils incarnate.

No cops, no protection from these goons and monsters.

The only hope we have is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I do not say this lightly and have never made this comment before, but I believe our situation is just that desperate.

There was a Coup on Nov. 3rd and a sitting President was removed from office.

Prior to that the Bidenistas and Obama-ites conspired with the Chi Coms to infect our people with the Fauci Wu Flu.

Look at all the damage that’s been done in such a short time.

It would not be possible without the help of Satan himself.

May G-d have mercy on us all.
