Recently, I was critical of a Washington Post column by University of California-Berkeley Dean Erwin Chemerinsky and Professor Aaron S. Edlin, who argued for a legal challenge of the recall election of Callifornia Gov. Gavin Newsom as unconstitutional. They insisted that the recall election violated the concept of “one person, one vote.” While Chemerinsky and Edlin insisted that the unconstitutionality of the recall election “should not be a close constitutional question,” I argued that most judges would likely agree but come to the opposite conclusion. Apparently, one such judge is United States District Court Judge Michael Fitzgerald who went out of his way to say that this was not a close question before summarily dismissing the Chemerinsky/Edlin theory.

60% of Those Older Than 50 Who Die From COVID Are Double Vaxxed
When reanalyzing the clinical trial data from these COVID shots using “all-cause severe morbidity” as the primary endpoint, the data reveal they actually cause far more harm than good.
The proper endpoint was calculated by adding together all severe events reported in the trials, not just COVID-19 but also all other serious adverse events. By doing this, severe COVID-19 infection gets the same weight as other adverse events of equivalent severity. According to Classen:
“Results prove that none of the vaccines provide a health benefit and all pivotal trials show a statistically significant increase in ‘all cause severe morbidity’ in the vaccinated group compared to the placebo group.
The Moderna immunized group suffered 3,042 more severe events than the control group. The Pfizer data was grossly incomplete but data provided showed the vaccination group suffered 90 more severe events than the control group, when only including ‘unsolicited’ adverse events.
The Janssen immunized group suffered 264 more severe events than the control group. These findings contrast the manufacturers’ inappropriate surrogate endpoints:
Janssen claims that their vaccine prevents 6 cases of severe COVID-19 requiring medical attention out of 19,630 immunized; Pfizer claims their vaccine prevents 8 cases of severe COVID-19 out of 21,720 immunized; Moderna claims its vaccine prevents 30 cases of severe COVID-19 out of 15,210 immunized.
Based on this data it is all but a certainty that mass COVID-19 immunization is hurting the health of the population in general. Scientific principles dictate that the mass immunization with COVID-19 vaccines must be halted immediately because we face a looming vaccine induced public health catastrophe.”

‘911’ System Offline, 1 Million Plus Without Power After Hurricane Ida Slams Gulf Coast
More than a million people are without power as Hurricane Ida battered New Orleans and the Louisiana coast on Sunday.
Ida was one of the strongest hurricanes on record, in terms of wind speed and pressure, to make landfall in Louisiana. The timing of landfall was on the 16th anniversary of Katrina, a Category 3 hurricane that swamped the Gulf Coast with torrential rains.
After making landfall early Sunday afternoon, Ida has since been downgraded to a tropical storm and was moving eight mph with the storm’s eye about 50 miles north-northeast of Baton Rouge. Winds have dramatically decreased and sustained around 60 mph.

American Fork Police Department Deletes OK-Hand Sign Photo From Facebook After Complaints
The American Fork Police Department (AFPD) has caved and deleted a photo, posted with good intention, featuring a civilian waving the OK sign. The department also apologized for the photo.
On Friday, a police officer with the AFPD was out patrolling when he met a group of people standing outside waving US flags in support of service members. He took a selfie with the group and posted it on the department’s Facebook page.

Anti-Vaccine Mandate Protesters Confront Police at RI State House
PROVIDENCE — A throng of protesters opposing vaccine mandates confronted police officers at the entry to the State House on Monday afternoon but did not get in.
Shortly after 3 p.m., while capitol and state police manned the doors, the protesters hurled slogans and obscenities from outside but did not get inside the building.
Several carried signs displaying a picture of Gov. Dan McKee and the words: “My Body, My Choice.” Others displayed the same yellow “Don’t Tread On Me” banners seen at gun-rights rallies.

The U.S. Department of Education is opening an investigation into whether prohibitions on indoor masking mandates constitute discrimination against kids with disabilities.
Announced on Monday, the move comes as multiple states have challenged masking in schools. The department’s Office of Civil Rights (OCR) is focusing on five states — Iowa, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Utah.
“The Department has heard from parents from across the country — particularly parents of students with disabilities and with underlying medical conditions — about how state bans on universal indoor masking are putting their children at risk and preventing them from accessing in-person learning equally,” U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona said in a press release.

Groups Gather on Highway 501 Near Myrtle Beach to Protest Vaccine Mandates
HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Members of at least two groups gathered along Highway 501 Sunday to protest vaccine mandates in what they called a “march for medical freedom.”

Hurricane Ida Traps Louisianans, Shatters the Power Grid
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Rescuers set out in hundreds of boats and helicopters to reach people trapped by floodwaters Monday, and utility repair crews rushed in, after a furious Hurricane Ida swamped the Louisiana coast and ravaged the electrical grid in the sticky, late-summer heat.
People living amid the maze of rivers and bayous along the state’s Gulf Coast retreated desperately to their attics or roofs and posted their addresses on social media with instructions for search-and-rescue teams on where to find them.
More than 1 million customers in Louisiana and Mississippi — including all of New Orleans — were left without power as Ida, one of the most powerful hurricanes ever to hit the U.S. mainland, pushed through on Sunday and early Monday before weakening into a tropical storm.

Mollie Tibbetts’ Killer Sentenced to Life in Prison
The man convicted in the 2018 death of Mollie Tibbetts, a University of Iowa student, was sentenced to life in prison Monday, three years after she disappeared while on an evening run.
Judge Joel Yates sentenced Cristhian Bahena Rivera to life without the possibility of parole, the mandatory sentence for first-degree murder in Iowa, which does not have the death penalty. The 27-year-old former farmhand, who testified that he came to the U.S. illegally from Mexico as a teenager, has been jailed since his arrest in August 2018.

Montana Only State to Ban Vaccine Requirements for Employees
HELENA, Mont. (AP) — While many large companies across the U.S. have announced that COVID-19 vaccines will be required for their employees to return to work in-person, there is one state where such requirements are banned: Montana.
Under a new law passed by the state’s Republican-controlled Legislature earlier this year, requiring vaccines as a condition for employment is deemed “discrimination” and a violation of the state’s human rights laws.
Montana is the only state in the U.S. with a law like this for private employers, said Hemi Tewarson, executive director of the National Academy for State Health Policy.

Photos: Crowd Protests Tri-County Health Mask Order in Arapahoe County
A crowd of several dozen protesters cheered in response to honks from passing vehicles while holding up signs that read, “Choice not mandate!” and “I don’t co-parent with the government” during a protest against local mask requirements in schools.
The group stood outside the Arapahoe County administration building in Littleton ahead of a meeting by the county’s elected leaders that discussed whether the county — or any part of it — would be opted out of the school mask order issued by Tri-County Health Department. That’s the local health agency that serves Adams, Arapahoe and Douglas counties.
Annie Peters, a mother from Highlands Ranch, stood among the group, holding a sign that read, “Unmask our children.” Peters said she’s a preschool substitute teacher at a school in Arapahoe County.
“I tried to implement the mask requirement on 2-year-olds last week, and it was an unmitigated disaster,” Peters said, noting that young children are often teething and that their salivating can get the masks wet.

Restaurant Reserveration App OpenTable to Integrate Vaccination Status Into Service
In an under the radar announcement last week, popular restaurant reservation service OpenTable revealed that it will integrate vaccination status into its app and website forms, to enable establishments to enforce vaccine pass mandates.
OpenTable announced that it will partner with digital identification company CLEAR, allowing establishments to indicate whether they require diners to present proof of vaccination.
Customers will then be asked to create a CLEAR account via the OpenTable app and connect their COVID vaccine certificate if they wish to eat in a restaurant that mandates it.

Right Now: Protestors Line Up in Front of Air Force Academy, Protest Vaccine Mandate
COLORADO SPRINGS — On Monday morning, dozens of protestors lined up outside of the Air Force Academy to rally against a mandate requiring that all cadets receive their COVID-19 vaccine.
According to an email sent to FOX21 News, cadets were notified last week that they have until close of business Monday to get their vaccine or be “booted out of the academy.”
Several dozen people were on hand before 7 a.m. to speak out against the mandate, waving signs with slogans such as, “Do not comply. Vax kills. Remember Nuremberg.”

Stanford Professor Claims Mask Opposition Connected to ‘Whiteness’
Hakeem Jefferson, a Stanford University professor, recently claimed opposition to masks at school board and council meetings was connected to “whiteness.”

The Virginia Supreme Court has refused an appeal from Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS), leaving in place a lower court ruling that required the school district to reinstate teacher Tanner Cross.
Cross, a physical education teacher, sparked an uproar this summer when he told the school board that he wouldn’t “affirm that a biological boy can be a girl and vice versa because it’s against my religion.”

Video: ‘White People Should Commit Suicide as an Ethical Act, ‘ Duquesne Professor Says
Duquesne University Professor Derek Hook said there are merits to the argument proposed by another professor who argued that it would be ethical for white people to kill themselves.
The anti-critical race theory group Mythinformed MKE posted the video recently. “This is part of an ‘anti-racist’ discussion on ‘nice white therapists held by the [American Association for Psychoanalysis in Clinical Social Work],” the group wrote on Facebook. The video appears to be from a summer session hosted by Hook, though the content is not otherwise publicly available.

Suspect Arrested on Arson Charges for Two Fires That Torched Surrey Coptic Orthodox Church
A suspect was arrested and charged with two counts of arson after an orthodox church hit with two fires was burned down in Surrey, BC, last month.
St. George Coptic Orthodox Church in Surrey was hit by a fire on July 14, damaging the entrance. A suspicious second fire on July 19 destroyed the church.
Around 3:17 am on the day of the second incident, the Surrey Fire Service contacted Surrey RCMP about a fire at the St. George Coptic Orthodox Church in the 13900 block of 108th Street in the Whalley area of Surrey.
No injuries were reported at the time. Although Surrey RCMP and the Surrey Fire Service were seeking to determine the cause of the fire, investigators had to wait for the debris to cool before authorities could proceed further.

A University of Toronto professor raised eyebrows Sunday evening after alleging a Conservative Party tweet is a dog whistle for Nazism. Pastor Henry Hildebrandt of the Church of God in Aylmer, Ont. visited Calgary’s Cave of Adullam church over the weekend, delivering a fierce sermon on the state of religious freedom in Canada.

France: Everyone Understands That Le Pen Will Never Win, Claims Eric Zemmour
Everyone in the National Rally (RN) understands that Marine Le Pen will never win the election, claimed popular conservative commentator Éric Zemmour in a Saturday interview with BFM TV.
Zemmour made the comment about Le Pen’s election prospect at a time when fears are now growing within conservative circles that Zemmour will enter the election and effectively split the RN vote in the first round of France’s federal elections. In France, if a candidate does not win an outright majority in the first round, a second round of voting takes place in which the two candidates who received the most votes head to a run-off vote. Hungary Approaches Full Employment
The number of job seekers in Hungary is dropping month by month and their number has decreased by more than 120,000 since the employment low in June last year caused by the pandemic, Sandor Bodó, State Secretary for Employment Policy of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) said in a press release.
According to the secretary of state, the steadily improving trend is due to the government’s successful crisis management, while economic protection and restart measures have significantly helped the recovery and helped the government set new employment records.
The lively dynamics of the labor market is indicated by the fact that almost 100,000 vacancies were available in August, of which less than 60,000 remained vacant by the end of the month. The number of workers affected by collective redundancies fell to a fraction of the level of June last year, to just 6 percent.

Italy COVID Green Pass Protests at Train Stations
From 1 September, the Green Pass — which shows that people have been vaccinated, tested negative or recovered from covid-19 — will be required to board airplanes, Intercity and high-speed trains, long-distance buses and inter-regional ferries.
Demonstrators are planning to ‘blockade’ stations the day the new rules take effect, with rallies being organised all over Italy via Telegram and word of mouth, reports news agency ANSA.

Own Nothing and be Happy: British Banks Could Buy Up 1.75 Million Homes by 2031
A ‘Great Reset’ of the British property market is currently underway, with big banks buying up houses across the country and edging out first-time homebuyers.
Financial firms, including banks and pension funds and asset managers, are partnering with housing developers to buy up new homes for the purpose of renting them to the public. The so-called “build-to-rent” housing scheme sees groups of properties bundled together to be traded as assets between different firms, rather than actually going to market.

Poland is in Russia’s Crosshairs, Says Former Polish Deputy Minister of Defense
More details are being revealed about the migrant crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border, with Belarusian journalists saying that it is part of “Operation Floodgate”, which has been labeled an asymmetrical form of warfare from the Belarusian state designed to destabilize Poland and Baltic state countries.
There are also reports that food is being given to the migrants stranded on the border, most likely by Belarusian services. Meanwhile, Belarus still refuses to accept Poland’s humanitarian aid convoy.
The Polish government is being attacked for not helping the foreigners (despite them being located on Belarusian territory), and Polish opposition MPs and supporters are trying to break through to the migrants and impede the work of the Polish Border Guard.

Report: Central Europeans Live Shorter Lives Than EU Average
The latest Eurostat data for 2020 shows that the average life expectancy of people in Poland is still three years shorter than the European Union average. In 2020, this number was 77.8 years, while the EU average is 80.9 years. In general, the data shows those in Central and Eastern Europe live shorter lives than those in Western and Southern Europe.
The Spanish live the longest in Europe (83.4 years), followed by Italians (83.1), French (82.7), and Norwegians (82.7). Poland is among the lowest in this ranking, falling behind Croatia (78), Estonia (78.4), and Czechia (79.1), but still above countries such as Slovakia (77.3), Hungary (76), Lithuania (75.8), Romania (75.3), Latvia (74.9), and Bulgaria (74.8).

Fox made the statement in an interview with talkRADIO’s Richard Tice, who is also the leader of the Reform UK party. The discussion was over whether social media platforms should require users to hand over their ID and give their real names.

UK: Extinction Rebellion Protesters Block London’s Tower Bridge
LONDON (Reuters) — Demonstrators from the Extinction Rebellion group, which is demanding urgent action by governments and business to limit climate change, staged a sit-down protest that stopped traffic from using Tower Bridge in London on Monday.
A Reuters photographer saw around 200 protesters taking part in the demonstration at the north end of the bridge while groups of police officers tried to prevent others from joining.

UK: Khan’s London: Five Stabbed During Fight Outside Harrow Train Station
Four men and one woman in their teens or twenties have been taken to hospital after a fight broke out in the early hours of Monday morning outside of Harrow station in north London.
The incident happened near Harrow and Wealdstone railway station at 4 am on Bank Holiday Monday. Police confirmed that all five people were taken to hospital for treatment after suffering stab injuries.

UK: Mayor of London Says Poles Should Oppose Poland’s Conservative Government
London Mayor Sadiq Khan took part via video link in the Campus Polska event organized in the Polish city of Olsztyn under the patronage of Warsaw mayor Rafal Trzaskowski. In addition to Trzaskowski and Khan, the mayors of Vilnius and Gdansk were also present.
During his speech, Khan attacked Poland’s ruling conservative government led by Law and Justice (PiS) and warned the event’s attendees to be wary of the Polish government. He claimed that Polish central authorities fear Trzaskowski and plan to strip him of power.

UK: Three Lincolnshire Extinction Rebellion Activists Arrested in London Protests
Three rebels from Extinction Rebellion Lincolnshire were arrested at protests held in London last week.
The climate change activist group were in the capital for a two-week rebellion, in which they demanded the government to “act now, tell the truth and go beyond politics”.
A roadblock went up at Covent Garden, as a big pink crisis talk table was installed on the road and occupied by rebels who refused to move in protest.

The return of al Qaeda associate Dr. Amin al Haq to Afghanistan on the same day as the complete withdrawal of US troops presents a complication for the Biden admin, which has signaled they want to continue relations with the Taliban.

Report: Students, Alumni at American University in Kabul Trying to Flee Could Not Reach Airport
Hundreds of students, their family members, and staff of the American University of Afghanistan on Sunday were denied entry in their final attempt to enter Kabul airport and escape to freedom, according to a report in the New York Times.
The group of about 600 evacuees waited seven hours on busses to enter the facility, but “[e]vacuations were permanently called off” due to security threats outside the airport, the Times reported.

Rockets Fired at Kabul Airport, Intercepted by US C-Ram Missile Defense System
A US defense official told Fox News’ Jennifer Griffin Monday that the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul was targeted by rockets that were intercepted by the US’s C-RAM missile defense system. There were no reported casualties.

In a statement released on Sunday evening, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said it was still investigating the strike that was carried out earlier in the day against a target that was purportedly involved in last week’s ISIS-K terrorist attack in Kabul airport, which left at least over 100 dead, including 13 U.S. soldiers.
“We are aware of reports of civilian casualties following our strike on a vehicle in Kabul today,” CENTCOM said in a statement. “We are still assessing the results of this strike, which we know disrupted an imminent ISIS-K threat to the airport. We know that there were substantial and powerful subsequent explosions resulting from the destruction of the vehicle, indicating a large amount of explosive material inside that may have caused additional casualties.”

China Limits Kids to Max of Three Hours of Video Games a Week
China is taking drastic steps to clamp down on video game addiction by forbidding under-18s from playing them for more than three hours a week.
Under the new rules, under-18s are only allowed to spend an hour playing online games on Fridays, weekends, and holidays, according to the state-run Xinhua News Agency.
The new rules, published on Monday, are replacing the previous, still-strict rules for minors, which allowed for 1.5 video game hours per day.

One Nation Senators Attend Qld #IStandWithTruckies Protest
Following Rebel News’ earlier article, the first of two planned truckie protests against Covid health orders went ahead this morning.
Several trucks blocked the southbound side of the M1 in the area near Reedy, Creek South of Brisbane, at 6am on Monday morning.
Frustrated truck drivers decided to stage the unsanctioned protest in response to demands by the Queensland government to mandate vaccination for all drivers crossing the border.

Truck drivers and “pro-choice” protesters from around the country have gathered outside council chambers and parliament houses and blocked major roads on Tuesday morning as a sign of defiance against vaccine and testing mandates.
Protests have been organised for dozens of locations in all states and territories, borne out of a fury towards mandatory vaccinations for authorised workers — including truck drivers — from 12 local government areas in Sydney.
In addition, essential workers travelling into Queensland are now required to have had at least one dose of the vaccine.
Around the country, truck drivers must be tested for Covid-19 regularly.

Netherlands: Citizens Protest After Liberal Government Transports 800 Afghans Into Small Village
Outraged residents of a small village in the Netherlands held a major protest last week to voice their staunch opposition to the sudden and unexpected arrival of hundreds of asylum seekers from Afghanistan.
Some 250 protestors, many of whom were described as young by the Dutch press, came out to protest a scheme being executed by the government — led by pro-mass migration, liberal Prime Minister Mark Rutte — that has seen 800 Afghan asylum seekers imported into Harskamp, a small village of 3,500 residents, regional news outlet De Gelderlander reports.
Demonstrators expressed anger that the government failed to consult with the locals before unilaterally deciding to import the asylum seekers, telling members of the press that their safety and security has been put at risk because of the massive group of newcomers, which is composed of mainly Islamic immigrants that many Dutch feel does not share their values or culture.

Orban, Meloni Say Migration Must be Stopped
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban held talks in Rome with Giorgia Meloni, president of the Italian Fratelli d’Italia party, on Friday. At the meeting, the two politicians discussed the situation of the European right and the growing threat of migration, Orban’s press secretary Bertalan told national news agency MTI on Saturday.
The topic of migration pressure due to the collapse of Afghanistan was discussed at the meeting, which was also attended by Katalin Novak, Fidesz’s Vice President for International Affairs.
They agreed that mass immigration is not a solution, help should be brought where the problems arise instead of importing the problems themselves, and European countries must withstand the growing migratory pressures from land and sea, Bertalan Havasi said after meeting.

Over 280 Migrants Have Reached Canary Islands Since Saturday
MADRID — At least 289 migrants have landed on the Canary Islands since Saturday, according to the latest data on the route between northwestern Africa and the Spanish archipelago over the past weekend provided by the regional emergency service and Spanish news agency Efe. The latest landings occurred last night in Gran Canaria. Some of the boats that arrived over the weekend landed without the intervention of authorities while others needed to be rescued at sea.
The migrants who arrived on Saturday included the 27 survivors of a particularly dramatic trip: they were sighted while they were adrift over 500 miles from the Canaries, on a boat with the bodies of four people on board. One of the 27 people, a woman, died when she reached the port of Gran Canaria.

Poland: Soros-Funded Activist Arrested Along With 12 Others for Destroying Border Fence
Among 13 people detained for destroying Poland’s border fence with Belarus is Bartosz Kramek, a well-known activist of the “Open Dialogue” foundation with ties to George Soros.
The incident, which police says involved the activists breaking barbed wire fence on the Polish-Belarusian border, was described by the Border Guard on social media.
“Border Guard officers along with Polish soldiers have detained a group of 13 people (12 Polish and 1 Dutch citizen) who were destroying technical blockades on the border with Belarus. Among the detained is Bartosz K. There is an ongoing process to bring charges against those involved,” the Polish Border Guard wrote.

UK Border Force Admits Some Afghan Evacuees Have Forged Papers
British Border Force officials have admitted that some Afghans airlifted from Kabul have been found to have forged papers or no papers at all, but they are reluctant to “have an argument” with them
The Telegraph, a right-leaning newspaper close to Boris Johnson’s government, reportsbeing told by border guards that “some Afghan evacuees had arrived at Heathrow with no documentation at all, while others carried forged papers”.

NBC Contributor Becomes Spokesperson for Controversial Group Accused of ‘Normalizing Pedophilia’
NBC contributor Noah Berlatsky is now the Communications Director for Prostasia, a not-for-profit group that is reportedly attempting to legitimize pedophilia under the guise of helping children. UK: Author Alleges Coverage Suppression of Her New Book
A bestselling author has accused “cowards” in the media and the book industries of canceling her. The writer accused the trans movement of attempting to “supplant biology.”
According to Helen Joyce, since the release of her book, “Trans: When Ideology Meets Reality,” she has been ignored by media organizations, like the BBC and suggests that some branches of UK bookseller Waterstones are suppressing her sales.

Virginia Catholic Bishop: ‘No One’ Is Transgender
Arlington Bishop Michael Burbidge has written a letter denouncing gender ideology and insisting that “no one” is transgender, NBC News reported this weekend.
In his “controversial” letter, Bishop Burbidge condemns transgender ideology because it “presents a view of the human person contrary to the truth” by disconnecting the idea of gender from that of the biological sex of a person.

The article itself, though, reveals that 60% of Covid hospital cases ARE “vaccinated”.
