Facebook Suppressed Report Showing Vaccinated Doctor Death Was Most Viewed Story in Q1

On Wednesday, August 18, for the first time, Facebook released a report on the content most viewed by users in the US for the last quarter. However, according to The New York Times, the company buried a similar report for the first quarter of 2021 because it would have resulted in a public relations crisis.

The report for the first quarter of 2021, obtained by the NYT (and that Facebook has now released) said that the most-viewed link was a headline that promoted vaccine hesitancy, something the company has been criticized for by the media for not censoring enough.

Florida School Districts Now Have One Day to Drop Mask Mandates or DeSantis Will Strip Funding

Earlier this year, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis banned mask mandates for schools. Still, some school districts sought to openly flaunt the rule of law by instituting their own mask mandates, provoking DeSantis to take action on Friday and give them 48 hours to rescind their mask mandates or face being stripped of funding. Now, the school districts have just over one day to respond.

On Friday, DeSantis gave the first two school districts flaunting the rule of law 48 hours to reverse course and drop their controversial mask mandates. Now, almost a day later, these schools have continued to defy the Florida governor and have just over one day to stop breaking the law. At present, it appears these school districts have yet to comply.

Facebook Suspends Canadian Political Candidate Marc Emery During Campaign Season

A Canadian candidate for political office who is currently running for a seat in parliament has been suspended by Facebook, most likely for posts critical of the country’s COVID policy.

Facebook cited five posts published over the past year as the reason, and one of them, Marc Emery took aim at what he called “the evil Covid dictatorship.”

The ban — which will last as long as his campaign and thus cut him off from communicating with his potential voters on the world’s largest social media site — came because Facebook found the posts to violate its community standards on “hate speech.”

An American woman called a US representative and tearfully begged for help getting out of Taliban-run Afghanistan.

Rep. Carol Miller of West Virginia on Saturday posted a recording of the call to Twitter. In the recording, a woman’s voice is heard, wavering and breaking up at times over her own tears.

“Hour by hour, it’s getting more difficult,” she said.

“Even when the cars pass by I feel like they’re gonna stop by that door out there, the Taliban, and they’re gonna come and they’re gonna kill us,” she continued, crying in between words.

“I’m really scared,” she said, pleading for help before the audio trails off.

Miller said in her tweet that the woman was “attacked each time she tried to reach the airport.” Her office did not immediately respond to a request for comment asking for more information about the attacks.

“Despite the danger to herself, she wants us to share this,” Miller wrote on Twitter. “We must guarantee the safety of Americans and our allies before it is too late…

Using Migration to Coerce the EU is Unacceptable, States Czech Interior Minister

Using migration as a tool of pressure on the European Union is unacceptable for the Czech Republic. The Czech Minister of the Interior, Jan Hamacek, said this on Thursday during a special meeting of the EU Ministers of the Interior. The video conference was originally convened due to the migration crisis on Belarus’ borders with EU member states.

However, ministers also addressed the security situation in Afghanistan after the radical Taliban movement took control of the country. According to Hamacek, it is necessary to prevent the migration crisis at the EU’s external borders and help countries neighboring Afghanistan. Austria’s Interior Minister Karl Nehammer then called for creating deportation centers in these countries for Afghans deported from Europe.

In Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland, the number of migrants arriving illegally from Belarus has increased dramatically after the government of President Alexander Lukashenko began systematically sending these people to the borders.

  1. Chief Adviser Fazel Mahmood Fazly and President Ashraf Ghani. Both are now internationally wanted.
Went for a grant in Sweden – now wanted for having fled with Afghanistan’s treasury

    Published 19 August 2021 at 21.07

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani is said to have received SEK 1.5 billion when he fled the country. Now he is internationally wanted along with his right-hand man Fazel Mahmood Fazly – who was recently revealed to be on a grant in Sweden.

Afghan president “escapes with so much money that helicopter could not take off”
According to Tolo News, the Afghan embassy in Tajikistan has asked Interpol to arrest the fleeing president Ashraf Ghani and his chief adviser Fazal Mahmood Fazli.

The duo are accused of stealing a large part of the state coffers – according to information equivalent to SEK 1.5 billion – when they fled the country.

Fazal Mahmood Fazli is not unknown in Swedish contexts. As recently as September last year, Aftonbladet reported that, at the same time as he was chief adviser to the President of Afghanistan, he was registered in Sweden and took out parental benefits.

The top politician was written in Sweden in 2009 and was when the revelation came last autumn registered at an address in Tullinge south of Stockholm.

According to Fazly’s Facebook page, he started working as chief adviser to the Afghan president on June 30, 2018. However, his social media accounts indicate that he worked for the Afghan government longer than that. Despite the fact that Fazly evidently no longer lived in Sweden, he received parental benefit in Sweden as recently as November 2018.

In the Swedish population register, Fazel Fazly is registered as born in 1977. According to Afghan sources, however, he was born in 1980. He is said to have graduated as a doctor from a university in Nangarhar in 2000. Fazly has since worked for several years as a doctor in Dalarna in Sweden and is mentioned in newspaper articles in Dalademokraten and Dalarnas Tidningar.

  2. Australian state begins construction of quarantine camp in Mickleham, Victoria

    https://m.thebl.tv/world-news/australian-state-begins-construction-of-quarantine-camp-in-mickleham-victoria.html

Australia, which took pride in last year’s control of COVID-19 transmission in its country, is now building a new quarantine camp for people with a high potential of contracting the virus.

According to documents seen by Worthy News and reported by The Age, Australia’s government would create a mandatory quarantine camp for those suspected of having COVID-19 to aid in battling the coronavirus outbreak.

The concept is based on the Howard Springs Centre in the Northern Territory, which the outlet said has demonstrated far more effectiveness than hotel quarantine for reducing COVID-19 leakage.

“But we’ve got to get this built. There’s a much greater risk to people across Victoria, Mickleham included, by having thousands of people in hotels that are not built to quarantine them,” said Premier Daniel Andrews.

“That’s the site that’s been chosen and everyone, including locals, will be better off because of that.”

The facility will be built by Multiplex, with 80 percent of the buildings being prefabricated off-site. The center has the capacity to expand to 3000 beds, but it will open as soon as 500 beds are available later this year.

According to a picture provided by The Age, the rooms where people would spend their time quite resembles a regular hotel room, with a balcony, bed for one person, a working desk, closet, and a television.
