Gates of Vienna News Feed 8/15/2021

The Taliban swept into Kabul today, despite President Biden’s assurances last month that such a takeover could never occur, and well ahead of the timetable estimated by most analysts. President Ashraf Ghani and his close associates vacated the presidential palace and fled the country. Helicopters were busy all day carrying American citizens to the airport before the Taliban could reach it. Those left behind were advised to shelter in place until the means can be found to get them out of the country. Meanwhile, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has recalled Parliament from its summer recess to debate the debacle in Afghanistan.

In other news, Scottish police raided more than 14,000 illegal house parties during the Corona lockdown.

Alabama and Louisiana Team Up on Big Tech Censorship Reporting System

Alabama’s and Louisiana’s state attorneys general have launched an initiative to address censorship on social media.

In both the states of Alabama and Louisiana, the public can report incidents of censorship on social media through a social media complaint form.

“We look forward to compiling this information to see, in fact, what’s going on through social media and whether or not there are specific instances or circumstances in which we believe there may be violations of the law,” said Steve Marshall, the AG of Alabama.

During his career as a software developer, he worked for both YouTube and Google, but resigned after learning of the suppression of conservative voices.

Using Google’s internal search engine, Vorhies discovered 950 pages of these plans and made them public on Project Veritas with James O’Keefe.

Hundreds Protest Vaccine Mandate in Bangor Sunday Afternoon

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) — Hundreds lined the sidewalks outside Broadway Park this afternoon in Bangor to peacefully protest the new vaccine mandate for Maine’s healthcare workers.

Protesters Cause a Stir Over Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s COVID Vaccine Mandate for Employees

LEBANON — Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is situated along the town line between Lebanon and Hanover, two communities with among the highest vaccination rates in New Hampshire, a state with one of the highest vaccination rates in the nation, that sits snugly in the country’s most vaccinated region.

The area would seem to be an unlikely location for a COVID-19 vaccination protest. At least until about a week ago.

Last Saturday was the first day passing motorists would see the hand-painted placard reading “SueDHMC.com, No Forced Vax” propped up against a military-style truck adorned with American flags parked at the intersection of Lahaye Drive and Route 120, across the street from the entrance to the DHMC campus.

The vehicle belongs to Alexandria, N.H., resident David Lheureux, whose wife, Nicole, is a licensed nursing assistant at DHMC. The truck remained parked on the corner throughout last week to protest Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health system’s requirement that its 13,000 employees be vaccinated against COVID-19 by Sept. 30.

A new report from the Heritage Foundation reveals that “diversity, equity, and inclusion” personnel represent 3.4 positions for every 100 tenured faculty.

Speaking with Campus Reform, Greene added, “Rather than being an effective tool for welcoming students from different backgrounds, DEI personnel may be better understood as a signal of adherence to ideological, political, and activist goals.”

Teaching Assistant Docks Point on Conservative Student’s Black Panther Essay: ‘White People Cannot Experience Racism’

A student at Virginia Tech University was told by a teaching assistant that “White people cannot experience racism” when asked why she received a low grade on her final paper.

Jones is also the president of the Virginia Tech University Turning Point USA chapter and a campus ambassador for The Leadership Institute, the parent organization of Campus Reform.

Jones told Campus Reform that she decided to pick “the New Black Panther Party with the focus of the essay being on separatism.” According to the SPLC, the NBPP has “encouraged violence against Whites, Jews and law enforcement officers.”

Witness Says Victim in Washington Middle School Shooting Was Defending Friends When He Was Shot

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A 13-year-old boy has been charged with murder for the shooting death of another 13-year-old at Washington Middle School on Friday.

Police say Juan Saucedo fatally shot Bennie Hargrove during a bullying incident outside the school during the lunch hour.

According to a criminal complaint, another 13-year-old student told police Saucedo had shown him and several other students a gun that he brought to school.

The student told police Hargrove walked up to Saucedo at lunch to tell Saucedo to “stop bullying his friend” and that he “didn’t want to fight” but wanted him to “leave his friends alone.”

The complaint goes on to say that is when Saucedo pointed the gun at Hargrove, shooting him multiple times.

When police arrived at the school, they found Hargrove with several gunshot wounds. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.

Saucedo’s father told officials that he noticed his gun was missing around noon on Friday. He called his wife to see if she had taken the gun, and she said no. He then went to the school and saw his son being handcuffed.

Saucedo has been charged with an open count of murder and unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon on school premises.

UK Citizens Could Face Social Media Surveillance to Get Gun License After Recent Shooting

After the recent shooting in Plymouth UK, a former Metropolitan Police commissioner is calling for police forces to scour the online activity of citizens who apply for a gun license in the UK.

In response to the shooting on Thursday, Lord Stevens, former commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, urged police forces to carry out thorough online checks on people applying for firearm licenses.

Apparently, police must search the social media accounts of people applying for firearms licenses in order to ensure that people holding extremist beliefs are not procuring lethal weapons. Men who express “hatred” for women online should be classified as potential terrorists because they hold “extreme, dangerous” views.

UK: Muslim Appears in Court, Accused of Encouraging Violent Jihad During Mosque Speech

At the mosque, Deghayes allegedly told children that “jihad is compulsory” while making stabbing motions. Deghayes is also apparently the brother of Guantanamo detainee Omar Deghayes and the father of two jihadis killed in Syria. In 2018, “he was charged with assaulting Einas Abulsayen, who claimed he rammed her face into the carpet and pushed his fingers up her nose in an attempt to remove the jinns or evil spirits from her body.”

Why did he push his fingers up her nose?

“The Prophet said, ‘If anyone of you rouses from sleep and performs the ablution, he should wash his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out thrice, because Satan has stayed in the upper part of his nose all the night.’“ (Bukhari 4.59.3295)

Hacker Group, Not Israel, Behind Cyberattack on Iran’s Train System — Report

Cybersecurity company Check Point names opposition group Indra, which it says inflicted ‘nation-state-level damage’ in July assault

(AP/Ebrahim Noroozi)A shadowy group — not Israel — was behind a July cyberattack on Iran’s railroad system that according to state media caused “unprecedented chaos” at train stations and reportedly led Tehran to attack an Israeli-owned ship a few weeks later, according to a new report.

The report, released Saturday by the Israeli- American cybersecurity company Check Point Software Technologies, named the Iranian opposition group Indra as the actor behind the attack, which it characterized as having inflicted “nation-state-level damage.”

During the July 9 attack, the hackers posted fake messages about alleged train delays and cancellations on display boards at stations across Iran. They also urged passengers to call for more information, listing the phone number of the office of the country’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

On the following day, the Iranian transportation ministry said a “cyber disruption” had affected its computer systems, taking down its website and links associated with it.

In its report, Check Point said those assaults were carried out using a version of a hacking tool deployed in previous attacks on Iranian interests in Syria that Indra — which is named for a Hindu war god — had claimed responsibility for in 2019 and 2020.

India: New Jihad Group Courts Leftist Support by Calling Itself the People’s Anti-Fascist Front

As India’s Independence Day nears, jihad terrorist attacks have started to shake India’s union territory of Jammu & Kashmir, which shares a border with Pakistan. The former Indian state has suffered decades of insurgency and terrorism owing to India’s Western neighbor, and this attack was nothing new or surprising.

On Thursday, August 12, a powerful bomb was hurled at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Jasbir Singh’s residence in the Rajouri district of Jammu & Kashmir by jihad terrorists from a newly formed local jihadist outfit. Images from the scene show extensive damage caused to the building due to the explosion. Security personnel are still probing the attack, and investigations are underway.

Veer, the four-year-old nephew of the BJP leader, was killed as the strong explosion ripped through the house; seven other family members, including another minor who is seven years old, have sustained severe injuries in the attack. Though the little one was rushed to the government medical college and hospital in Rajouri almost immediately, he succumbed to his injuries at midnight. His body was handed over to his family for the last rituals.

Taliban Sweep Into Afghan Capital After Government Collapses

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — The Taliban swept into Afghanistan’s capital Sunday after the government collapsed and the embattled president joined an exodus of his fellow citizens and foreigners, signaling the end of a costly two-decade U.S. campaign to remake the country.

Heavily armed Taliban fighters fanned out across the capital, and several entered Kabul’s abandoned presidential palace. Suhail Shaheen, a Taliban spokesman and negotiator, told The Associated Press that the militants would hold talks in the coming days aimed at forming an “open, inclusive Islamic government.”

Earlier, a Taliban official said the group would announce from the palace the restoration of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the formal name of the country under Taliban rule before the militants were ousted by U.S.-led forces in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, which were orchestrated by al-Qaida while it was being sheltered by the Taliban. But that plan appeared to be on hold.

Kabul was gripped by panic. Helicopters raced overhead throughout the day to evacuate personnel from the U.S. Embassy. Smoke rose near the compound as staff destroyed important documents, and the American flag was lowered. Several other Western missions also prepared to pull their people out.

Turkmenistan: Internet Users Forced to Swear on Quran That They Won’t Use VPNs

Turkmenistan is ostensibly a secular state, but clearly it has a strong Islamic character. A former Soviet Republic, Turkmenistan has retained much of its previous totalitarianism, now with an Islamic cast. This was a natural fit, as the two elements of the Marxist-Islamic red-green axis share a taste for terror and repression as tools of the state.

World Leaders Blame Biden, Express Disappointment With Afghanistan

World leaders are speaking out about their disappointment with the security situation in Afghanistan, with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson going so far as to pin the blame on President Joe Biden and the United States.

Johnson said it was “fair to say the US decision to pull out has accelerated things, but this has in many ways been a chronicle of an event foretold,” but urged western leaders to work together to prevent Afghanistan from again becoming a “breeding ground for terrorism.”

“I think it is very important that the West should work collectively to get over to that new government — be it by the Taliban or anybody else — that nobody wants Afghanistan once again to be a breeding ground for terror and we don’t think it is in the interests of the people of Afghanistan that it should lapse back into that pre-2001 status,” Johnson told Sky News.

Austria: Funeral of 13-Year-Old Raped and Murdered by Muslim Migrants Gets Police Protection as Family Gets Threats

Two other piquant items in the report below: “The suspects are refugees from Afghanistan whose asylum applications were rejected. They have been convicted several times for drugs and assault. But they were not deported.”

Why not? Would it have been “Islamophobic” to do so?

Also, Leonie’s older sister was previously beaten up by Muslim migrants.

This is Austria under multiculturalism.

More Than 618,000 Pakistanis Have Been Deported From 138 Countries in the Past Six Years

In a major embarrassment for Pakistan, a nation celebrating its 74th Independence Day, or shall we say, “Foundation Day”, more than 618,000 Pakistanis have been deported from 138 countries in the past six years. The myriad immigration malpractices that have resulted in this deportation primarily include entering countries illegally or by producing fake documents.

The second claim to fame of Pakistanis worldwide is migrating to other countries with counterfeit IDs; harassing non-Muslims for following different faiths and levying bogus blasphemy charges on them remains their first claim to fame.

You will find Pakistani migrants everywhere, be it a First-World Western country, the gold-and-oil-laden Middle East, or any other Third-World developing nation. With an ever-plummeting economy and unstable governments in their Islamic Republic, there is hardly any part of the world that Pakistanis have not tried to flee to seek better living conditions. In their desperate search for a better life, they often end up in foreign lands with forged IDs, and are deported.

Interestingly, 72% of the total deportations have been from friendly Islamic nations, including Oman, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran, Qatar, Bahrain and the UAE; so reports News International.

  1. “UK: Muslim… Accused of Encouraging Violent Jihad During Mosque Speech”
Given the contents of the Quran, it appears to be enforced with the same alacrity as sex trafficking charges when it comes to this sort.

  2. “The same deep state that created the Taliban & invaded Afghanistan on false pretexts is humiliated in the Middle East yet again.”

What? The Taliban was created, armed and funded by Pakistan and there is much documentary evidence to support this. I was in Peshawar in 1994 and witnessed at first hand the militant groups assembling outside the city prior to crossing the Afghan border.

      • The same people who funded the Karakorum Highway, China. Yes, America did arm them too and conveniently looked the other way while the Pakis built their bomb.

    • Yes, you are right.

I remember that about a decade ago, an iranian lesbian muslima entered germany as a refugee because she couldnt make party and drink alcohol and be together with her lover.

      I was dumbstruck.
She was born after Khomeni took power, so she knew from the start of her life that LGBTQ… people in Iran are hung as soon as they are found. So instead of hiding (you know what the people in Nazi-occupied Europe did) she wanted to live openly.
She even told about the guys who studied electrotechnology who could build wonderful disco-lights and the chemistry students who made great alcohol.
I dont know how much the Barion will allow mw to write, but:
students of electrotech can not only built disco-lights, they can also build detonators.
And chemistry students can make things that go BOOM.
She should have been sent to meet and talk to every still living Resistance-fighter of WWII, get a few lessons by Special Forces operatives about how to identify and fool the Religious Police and some knowledge about how to draw them into traps – lethal ones preferable.
Then she should have been sent back.
But no, she was granted asylum and is still asking western people to remove the Ayatollahs in Iran.
She doesnt want to get her hands dirty, of course.
Something like that is beneath her. That is what kuffrs are for.

  3. If this is the best that can be done to protect girls, boys and women from half men savages? Then the west is in poor shape. Still can’t import enough Koran savages into the midst of what is still a non Muslim society. Someone better get back in there and rally those good men. Go back after the Taliban with a vengeance they can’t imagine right now. No wait……Can you hear those Muslims laughing? Poor old Christian west thinks it’s creating a nu different kafir loving mosque dweller on its own turf. “One of the great religions etc.”

    • Islam will push us until we snap, when we do, all hell will break lose, the weak among us will be run over, the feminaxi’s slapped into submission, the elites and their political pawns dragged out of whatever hole they are hiding in, the 3rd worlders will run for the borders, for people will be in no mood for mercy or quarter, and the days of the ruthless strongmen of the Pinochet/Franco mold will take over. Weak feckless people destroyed democracy, they deserve the mailed fist of ruthless people to right the ship again.

  4. Dear Swedes, I do not know your language. Today I selectively tried to find information on criminals using keywords: a father and his two sons, who had raped an underage girl in Sweden. But I did not find information anywhere and the head of the criminal was heavily shaded – the shade of the hair was not even visible.
    Can you help me clarify?
