5 Years’ Prison for Florida Man in Arson at Racial Protest

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — A Florida man was sentenced Wednesday to five years in federal prison for torching a sporting goods store during racial protests in 2020.

A Tampa federal judge imposed the sentence on 21-year-old Terrance Lee Hester Jr., who pleaded guilty to an arson charge in April, according to court records.

Federal investigators say Hester was identified through video surveillance footage as he threw a flaming white cloth through a broken window at a Champs Sports store. Later, prosecutors say, he was seen with a burning palm frond moving toward the store’s back door.

Damage was estimated at $1.2 million. No one was injured. The potential maximum prison sentence for Hester was 20 years.

Disband the FBI

In the past few days alone, we have learned that the October 2020 Michigan governor kidnap plot was largely a creation of the FBI; a “senior FBI official” was on the take from media organizations; and another assistant director was in a “romantic relationship with a subordinate” and involved in “other misconduct.” The leadership failures documented by the Office of the Inspector General are now almost standard and part of a tiresome media drip-torture for the public to endure.

The FBI ran a coup against President Trump. It failed. The following got away: Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Clinesmith, Pientka, Brower, Baker, et al. Any real consequences for attempting to overthrow the government of the United States? No.

Questions are now being raised as to whether the FBI had a role in the Capitol Hill protests of January 6, 2021. When one examines the FBI’s involvement in the Trump-Russia collusion hoax; Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) abuses; standing by idly while in possession of Hunter Biden’s Ukraine and Burisma-laden laptops, while President Trump endured a second phony impeachment; and the frame-up of Trump’s National Security Advisor, Lieutenant General Michael Flynn — it is not too difficult to imagine.

The FBI needs to go away. It should happen in an orderly and thoughtful process, over a period of months. Congress should authorize and create an investigative division in the U.S. Marshals Service and open applications for law enforcement officer seeking to be rigorously screened, vetted and then accessed into the new organization. Similar action was taken before in the very creation of the FBI. It is now time to clean house and restore the public’s trust in the “premier investigative agency” of federal law enforcement.

WASHINGTON (SBG) — Protests are breaking out across the country, with people rallying against vaccine mandates.

More than 600 colleges campuses have already announced COVID-19 vaccines will be required for students, employees or both, according to The Chronicle Higher Education.

The Unwoke in San Francisco Seek to Recall Three School Board Members

Authored by Mike Shedlock via MishTalk.com

I am pleased to report an unwoke revolt where it’s desperately needed…

In a Revolt of the Unwoke, three progressive San Francisco school board members are targeted for a recall.

The targets are President Gabriela López, Vice President Faauuga Moliga and Commissioner Alison M. Collins. To force a recall election, pro-recall forces need 51,325 signatures for each candidate by Sept. 7.

They already have more than half what they need, and say they now have the resources to hire professional signature gatherers for the rest. Polling shows 69% of San Francisco parents back the school-board recall—far more than the 43% in a poll last week who support recalling Gov. Gavin Newsom in the election scheduled for Sept. 14.

In the EU — 70% of Adults Have Received at Least One Dose of COVID-19 Vaccine

To date, 70 percent of European Union adults have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This was announced by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. According to the president, the EU executive will have fulfilled the plan to reach this goal by the end of July. Currently, 57 percent of adults are fully vaccinated, with the Commission targeting 70 percent before the end of the summer.

Mainly due to the lack of vaccines in the first months of the year, the EU still lags behind Britain and the United States in total numbers, but the differences have gradually narrowed. Britain currently has about 70 percent fully vaccinated, while the US is at over 60 percent.

These organizations have accused the North African country’s intelligence services of accessing information through the Israeli NSO tech company manufactured spyware known as Pegasus.

According to a report released last week, the spy software was associated with a list of 50,000 phone numbers obtained by the Forbidden Stories consortium, and the Pegasus software was, according to its authors, detected by Amnesty International experts on phones owned by journalists and NGO employees. The manufacturers of the software, NSO, have cast doubt over the authenticity of the document and over claims that phones of so many top ranking officials could have been infected by their product.

The claim that brought the ire of the Moroccan government was that their security services were implicated in monitoring the phone of French president Emmanuel Macron and over a dozen members of his government. Paris prosecutors have already launched an investigation into the claims, and the French president has changed his phone number as a result. The Moroccan security services’ name also has emerged in connection with alleged surveillance of King Mohamed VI of Morocco, and that of officials in Algeria, Morocco’s regional rivals. All such claims have been roundly denied by Morocco.

The Moroccan state is now suing the organizations who have made the allegations against its security services in a Paris court. Their lawyer, Olivier Baratelli, stated that “the Moroccan state…wants all possible light cast on these false allegations from these two organizations, who make claims without any concrete or demonstrative evidence whatsoever.” The Moroccan government “does not intend to let the multiple lies and fake news spread these past few days to go unpunished”. The first hearing in the case is planned for October 8, but the trial might not start for another two years.

Greeks Fed Up With Migrant Vandalism

Residents of Malacca in Greece are demanding the closure of a nearby asylum center in the face of regular crimes by immigrants. The members of the small village of five hundred inhabitants, forty kilometers from Athens, wrote a letter to the Greek Ministry of Migration and Asylum, calling on the government to relocate thousands of immigrants who had repeatedly committed acts of violence in the village.

According to Greek newspaper Ethnos, residents of the facility recently threw stones at the house of an elderly man, causing significant damage to the property, and attempted to set fire to several churches. Apart from recent cases, residents complain of ongoing vandalism, such as damage to public spaces, thefts, violence against women and the elderly, and violations of hygiene and public health rules.

“The Malacca community has run out of patience in receiving immigrants”, the mayor of the village, Costantinos Litzas wrote in a letter. He also drew attention to the fact that it is ridiculous for such a small community to hold nearly three thousand illegal immigrants.

Picture this, I hold a knife to your throat and spit my transness into your ear. Does that turn you on? Are you scared? I sure ing hope so.”

TubeShift Makes it Easy to Find Censored YouTube Videos on Odysee, Rumble, Bitchute and More

When YouTube censors videos, it also scrubs the video title and the name of the channel that uploaded the video from the page. All that remains is white space and a notice stating: “This video has been removed for violating YouTube’s terms of service.”

This means that if all you have is a link to a YouTube video that was censored before you had a chance to watch it, you can’t search for the video title or the creator on alternative platforms.

The open-source TubeShift browser extension fixes this problem by finding alternative versions of censored YouTube videos and making links to these alternative videos available to you with a single click.

  1. “UK: Facebook Bans English Historian YouTuber Tom Rowsell”

I would guess it’s his “Anglo-centric” views that were a problem. I used to follow him, his take on Indo-European culture was interesting and the old school style of his videos was mostly refreshing. But, over the years, he more and more misread facts and pretended everything came from England. And while I understand his sentiment to a degree, it’s very unprofessional.

That said, I don’t think it’s a reason to ban him. Everybody should decide themselves if he’s worth following or not.

    • You’ve made general assertions without specific examples to back up your generalizations.
